draw

groot

. Let's start today's lesson in the center of our page and

draw

two circles for the eyes. Let's start with the one on the left. Start from the top, we're just going to work our way towards the bottom of the eye and just lift that up to the top. Now let's leave a big space between the eyes and draw the same on the right, so the line goes up the top of that circle, just lower it to the same height and then go back up towards the top, now add a small highlighted circle at the top left of each eye, so that against the edge of the eye bring that circle. and then fold it out and then line it up on the right side and then we'll fill the bottom half of the eyes in black, let's add a little crease under the eyes.

I'm going down, down and out. I'll move to the center, go down and draw them starting again at the left curl, the mouth will go down and then up and then I'll add a short line to each side, we'll add a crease below the mouth in the center for the bottom. lip now I'm going to go back up and draw the eyebrows on the outside of the eye, we're going to raise the curve of the eyebrow by going up and bending it in a line to the right coming out and then down now that we've drawn the face, let's go to the side and draw the lower half of the head from outside the left eye.

We're going to go out, draw a big semicircle and go down and go under the mouth. stick your chin out and pull up to the right and then from here we're going to move towards the top of your head, starting again on the left, pull this out and then go up, curve this up and in and draw a straight line. line that goes down towards the eye in the middle of this line, we will add a crack that goes up the top that is up and in and we will draw another straight line that goes down now from this top corner, go down because outside and then up in the top. going down to the side, go down and then we'll just fold it in, then we'll go back to the top step down, we'll draw a short angle line that's going to go down to the side up and this out and then down and we'll draw another line that goes down from that top corner we'll go down, we'll draw the curve coming out and then it'll come down to the side of the head and we'll close this, let's go down and bend it over to the right side, let's add a little bit of wood texture along the top starting at the drawing left.

A short downward line moves to the right and once we complete the head, we will move down and draw on the side of the body. Let's start again on the left side, just below the curve of the head, the body comes out and then down towards the hip, align this to the right out and then down towards the same height, let's add some texture to the body in the center under the chin, move to the right because it is down and to the left side and from the center. exit and go up the left, now go to the left side, draw a short curve that comes to about the middle of a right angle line going down through the body, cover this and then up, now we are going to continue with that wood texture coming out. towards the right hip, so step in a short line, go down, come up, cross, fold this down and out and pull this to the right, let's add a little texture along the left side, let's start with a short curve entering and leaving and then from the hip draw one more curve now from the hips we are going to move to the center we go down in a curve from left to right going up and then down we leave a space in the center we go to the left side we cut the leg coming out and then down towards the left heel move to the right come out and down towards the right heel now we are going to round the sole of the feet starting from the left heel go down and up towards the outside and then from the outside of the foot and draw a curve pointing towards the center of the body so we go up, we just fold that in, let's go back to the hips, we're just going to bring this out and then down behind the side of the leg now. let's add a little more texture to the legs, starting from the heel up and out on both sides and then along the bottom, I'm just going to add a couple of lines going up the outside of the leg, go up and follow that curve going up and in and then from the heel we're going to go up another curve coming out, we're going to add a little bit more texture on the right side to curve and then from the hips I'm just going to curve this in and then down pointing towards the center of the body.

Now we are going to go back up and draw the arms, let's start halfway between the chin and the hip, starting here on the inside of the arm, going out and down towards the thumb and then from the wrist we draw a semicircle from the thumb we close the end with a support let's add three fingers to each side starting under the thumb, we go down and up around that support, we go down and down up and then the third finger will start on the side that comes out, we bend the arm up and under the head, now you want to add some texture to the arms, start from the inside of the wrist, start by curving it out and then to the side, let's go up to the shoulder, fold this and then in, let's go to the outside of the arm and it's down and inwards, towards the hand.

Now I'm going to finish this off by adding some leaves around the outside. Let's start from the outside. The left arm bends this outward and upward, just curve in the opposite direction towards it. arm let's add one on the right wrist let's add another one on the left leg along the side add one more on the right side going down and back and now we're going to grab some markers and I'll show you how to color this I'm going to start by filling in the head and the body with this light beige and then using a slightly darker color, we'll add some shadows at the bottom, starting under the eyes and the bottom of the head and using our green to fill. on each of those sheets and then the last thing we're going to do is sign our artwork and that's it, that's how we draw and color
