I mean, there's no other way to put it and it gets sticky and hard to remove over time, so abrasion is necessary and you really have to scrub or pretreat a surface when you're in a

before you start cleaning it first, come on To remove everything from the shower and tub, anything that stays there for a long period of time has a chance to develop mold and mildew underneath, so anything that comes out is the way to go Next, we are pre-treating our tiles , we'll just do it in the tub later, so you can stand in the tub if you need to clean it now.

I'm dipping my sponge into my product working my up and down, left to right or if you're using a spray you can just spray that on too. Oh, and make sure to clean the chrome which also needs cleaning. If you have any discolored growths, there is a really simple way to fix them which is to add baking soda and hydrogen peroxide to a bowl. You want to make a thick paste so measurements don't really matter here, just have a nice pasty texture, apply it with a cleaning toothbrush to the grout lines while everything is pre-treated. and what this will do is allow it to work while the soap scum is also melting so that when you go to clean it in the next step everything comes off, now you are going to scrub the tiles using the scrubbed side of the sponge.

It should be nice and wet, you're going to apply pressure from top to bottom, left to right, and by doing this you're really going to help remove all the crap that's stuck to the wall, including stuff stuck in the grout lines. It will come off during this cleaning now, if it needs a little extra abrasion you can add a little baking soda to your sponge to help remove any stubborn soap residue, but when this job is done everything will be nice and clean. but wait, we won't rinse yet.
