eyes

hadow. First disclaimer. I am not a makeup artist by any means. I'm only passionate about eyeshadow. I have the

Well first of all I filmed this morning with my camera that I can actually zoom in the way My eyes close a lot because often every time I make these videos I get accused of cheating because people say I think this eye It has more of a hood than this one and I'll explain why people might think they both look the same to me. They present me with the same challenge, so first look at my eyes. Well, as you can see, I feel like both of my eyes are exactly the same, so people say this one has more of a hood, but to me they look exactly the same.

I may be able to raise this eyebrow higher so that when I speak and I can also leave that eyebrow independent of it, but I can't do it the other way around, so sometimes when I speak, I can have this eyebrow high. I like this. It seems that this eye is not as

hooded

as this one. I don't know, they are both hooded and very annoying. As you can see, I have a very large area between my lash line and eyebrow. Sometimes people's eyebrows are very big. lower down so they have less space to work with, but you can still do it and also my eyes are in the center, you know, the kind of sad, sad Spanish eyes and I was born with this shape and I was born with hooded eyes, obviously, they're gone all. more wrinkled and less firm as the years go by, but um, yeah, when I lower my eyebrows when I'm normal, you can see that my hood sits right above my eyelashes, so my moving cap and this is your moving cap is the The lid moves where your eye is.

You can't see him unless he does this. When I lower my eyes, you can't see the cover of my phone at all. It's just this hood sticking out and you can also see what it looks like. The skin is not very elastic anymore, so it's very annoying trying to work in this corner with all this trouble, you know, with all this skin loose and hanging, it's just a nightmare, but it can be done, so today I wanted to use something like that. of neutral palette, you know, especially if you're a beginner at makeup application, you don't want something crazy.

I use the bone too faced this way, the natural nudes and as you can see these are really lovely neutral shades and none of them are really very dark apart from this one so this is a really pretty palette for everyday and then I use Jaclyn Hill from Morphe. As you can see, there are a lot of neutral colors here too, so two things to remember, one yes. you want to change the shape of your eye you have to go against the shape of your eye with eye shadow and two you have to know the rule of light and shadow so that light shadows, especially bright ones, emphasize things, things make them move forward, make them bigger dark eye shadows It will make things smaller, push them back and hide things.
It's a little bit if you're a painter, that's probably what you work with light and shadow so you can see because we don't have a very big moving lid unless I talk like that, you know? I talk a lot like that and maybe that's why sometimes people say I don't squint because I can really raise my eyebrows that much, that's why I have all these wrinkles on my forehead and every time I talk I'm so animated and I'm never okay. , probably if I'm not talking I'm like that. You know, when I lower my eyebrows to the normal place where they should be, you can see the shape of my eyes and I say that because we can't see them. that's where we would put light and bright colors um a lot of people say that when you're mature you should only wear matte eyeshadows I don't agree that there is no age for makeup or clothes you do what makes you happy The only thing is that if you have the skin of your eyes very textured and very wrinkled, if you use a very shiny eye shadow, that could emphasize them, so in that case you may want to opt for everything matte, so if we want to make the mobile eyelid more visible . that's why we need to use the light, bright color now, this bed we want to hide, we don't want to see this hood hanging down and really showing, so that's where we're going to use the darker color because that will push it away and hide it. quite an optical illusion obviously also in my case because my eyes are central I have to raise them a little with the shadow and in that case you know when people talk about exterior v what is this exterior v that you work on eh well exterior v For me it would be absolutely not, not because my eye would look straight that way or turn even further down, so that's when I invented the word seven or inverse seven, so our outer v is more like a seven, so it goes up pretty sharply and then towards your crease, sorry I have to keep looking in the mirror to know what I'm showing you and I have so many videos broken down about Chris over the seven so I'll leave you the full playlist here for hooded eyes and this.
It's like it's all together really now you can start doing your makeup in a few different ways you can start with the crease and I think for us hodis this is probably the best way because then you know where to connect your outer seven so start with the crease is Very, it's the easiest way, I probably do my makeup differently every time I'm so used to my eyes, I know exactly what I'm doing so it depends on what look I'm going for, I might start with my outer corner, um or could. start with the fold, it depends, but I think if you're not used to it, starting with a fold is probably a better option, okay, let's talk about it while I do it, it will be clearer, because people say that I always start with this eye that apparently it is less.
Hold him. Sorry, I'm trying not to move my eyebrows too much so you can see it. The only reason I always start with this eye. I always have my mirror here and it's easy because I'm right-handed with my left. I have to cross my body, but since people say I should start with my eldest, this time I'll do it on this side. Well, I'll start with this eye. I'm going to take Rifa 14. and I'm going to strip down, I don't know if that one will show much, we'll see, but you want something in your crease that if you're doing a neutral look, look brown, uh, something that's just two shades darker than then . your eyelid if you do it with purple you do it with pale purple you know that it doesn't matter the color it's okay so we're going to start with the crease and you always think carefully about how high I have to go so that the crease is Here, just below your orbital bone, and a lot of people that I'm really envious of when I see them applying eyeshadow have this defined crease that's where the upper eyelid folds and then this beautiful, huge little moving eyelid, well, I don't have that.
The fold if we're looking at where it lands is down here, I don't want to do it so I do it on this side, this side is going to be like the wrong type so if I make my fold where my fold actually is, don't do it. I can't see it well because my hood is up here, this is not covered and you can't see the eye shadow. The easiest way to find how high you should go with your eyeshadow and I think I made a video about it. You can see? this crease here this shadow that goes from your nose everyone should have no matter where your eyebrow is everyone should have this what you call it it's like a crease this shadow part so if you use this as a guide you go from here very lightly just so you know where to go because we want the darkest bed on the outer side of your eye and I have my eyebrows down because I want to see where the eye shadow goes.
I could raise them when I'm working here, but when I'm working up here you need to have your eyebrows down, okay? So over here, can you see that shadow? Now I'm creating a crease because my eyes are also down. 10 I don't want to go too. Go down with that because if I do I'll make them look even lower so go over here for now where your eyebrow arches and look at yourself and see if you're looking around enough or it's going down because I don't want this. go too low again, you'll make your eyebrow draw in and your eye look more

droopy

, so I go up a little bit more here because if I went down here it would really emphasize that maybe I should show you this eye.
Although I wanted to show you something different, let me show you something different in this eye. You know, when we talk about light and shadow, so like I said, you should lighten your mobile eyelid, but we'll make it darker and then we'll apply. Nice light shadow on top here, so I'm applying a nice light, bright eyeshadow in my crease and then a dark eyeshadow, so I'm doing it the other way around. I'm doing what I told you not to do. Well, I hope you can see. that I just brought this crease really shows my hood, you can't see the lid of my mobile, so let's continue now with this eye so you can see the difference, so once I have this line don't go any higher. just go almost under to deepen it because then this is raffle 15. you're going to blend it above this line that you made so I'm almost going under my eyebrow and I have to do that because otherwise if I do my eyeshadow lower than this you won't see it well, now this can be tricky, this seven you know what angle to take, so I think the easiest way to do it is to do the lower lash line and extend it, which will give you a sort of template.
I'm going to take the rifa03 brush with the same eye shadow and I'm going to put it on the lower lash line, I'm going to lower the eyebrows and I'm going to start very lightly to draw the shape, it's very difficult with hooded eyes because you can see all this loose. skin here that folds 500 times um but once you have the template you can lift the eyebrows so they are softer so you can do it if you can lift the eyebrows like this just lift them with your finger so here and now you know how far to go with this eyeshadow you'll be working on the outer corner now if I didn't do what I did and I'm still going with this here, you know, follow the shape of my eyes, I mean, you can do it if I want a kind of cut look, that's what I mean, you can change the look of your eyes with eye shadow.
You can see? I can barely see this eyeshadow and because I followed the shape of my eyes, it kind of shrinks them even more. Well then we have this. template and I made it with this lighter shadow, now we are going to start shading the hood, we want to get rid of the hood, so for that you use the darkest eyeshadow, whatever eyeshadow you have chosen for this part , you use the darkest eyeshadow I have. three brushes that I love for this because you need something very small in there because of all the creases there's not a lot of space you want to be a little more precise and then you can blend it in and these are the holo brushes and my favorite is the p66 but I also like I like the Pro 81 and the DS10, they're very similar, but I think the P66 is my favorite, so I'm going to take the darkest eyeshadow and start patting it on my eyelid in this sort of figure-of-seven shape.
That does not go. beyond that line that I just made and I'm just going with this for now as far as I can feel this bone, okay, but look, when I lower my eye, you can barely see this eye shadow, we're going to have to take it further up towards that. stencil, but you don't want to go too dark if you know what I mean and then with whatever you have left, it's like painting by color, very lightly, just barely touching it, connect this stencil and then raffle 15 blend the edges. and when you're blending it here, keep dragging it a little bit towards the inner corner, not all the way down but about three quarters, now you can see the eyeshadow and I basically shaded the worst part of my eye, the one that's

droopy

. that's less than 10 that has the bigger bag on this side now you can add this darker color right on the outer lower lash line and then blend it with that first with that first crease color so I hope you can see the difference, let me leave my eyebrows so my eyes are still attached, but I'm sure you can see that this hood shows a lot more than this one and you can deepen this dark eyeshadow according to your desire, it depends on how dark you want it and it does not have to be this way.
If you were this dark, if you wanted to achieve this very natural look, this would be a darker shade, so that's what you would use, but I always feel like you need something a little bit darker than this to really hide the hood, but if you do you use in combination with all. the lights should still give the same effect to the sign, so you could really do this look with four brushes. You need something that you know is fairly pointed and thin to be fairly precise in your crease. When you draw that stencil for the first time, you need something to blend, which is fluffier and not too dense.
You need a pencil brush and then you'll need some type of shading brush. I want to apply eye shadow on your eyelidmobile, if sometimes you find yourself applying this shadow here, it comes out a little bit too dark because it will happen, you can fix it, take another fluffy brush, put it in some kind of light matte eyeshadow, like a skin tone, and just shade it alone the edge of the dark eyeshadow just to soften it so I hope you can see the difference here I have this dark eyeshadow on the lid of my phone but if when I lower my eyes you can't see it whereas with this one you can see it , now let's take care of the cover of our mobile, so now here you can put something. very bright like this color, I mean the color of this eyeshadow is actually not very bright, it actually doesn't show much or you can put some kind of lighter and brighter eyeshadow.
I could use something from Jacqueline Hill because these shimmer eyeshadows here are beautiful. I'll probably use this one above which is a kind of pearly pink color and I'll use Rifa 02. These eyeshadows are generally best applied with a finger, but you can try it first with a brush, always wet, and if you're using a brush, you should use press and drag movements with those types of eye shadows and you go right to the inner corner because if you make it very bright here, that will open your eyes and show you the cover of your phone and you carry it right under your bone, under this bone, and suddenly I have a lid even though this part is part of my little hood, but with the In contrast, it suddenly looks like my eye has opened, whereas if I show it to you, although sometimes I use this look, don't think this is wrong, do what you want, but we are talking about changing the shape of your eye, so if I put the dark one on my eyelid, my eyelid disappears and we don't see any of that dark shadow on any part.
You can also do it on your inside corner and then take another little brush and bring it right here and this. It's like a basic look, that's what I do most of the time, obviously I play around, but I think this look is the most effective right now. Unfortunately, this eyeliner isn't exactly our friend, especially you know, cutting eyeliner that kind of thing because we. We have such a small space here that when we open our eyes the eyeliner disappears. Since I use eyeliner and I usually just use Kohl eyeliner because it's very difficult with a liquid eyeliner to make a defined line here because of all the creases.
I use any Kohl eyeliner. and I really only use it from the middle of my eye or even less towards the end. Now when you use the eyeliner you just go really close to your lash line and over here not all the way to the end of your lashes because that's when the eye is droopy here you go up a little bit because I'll show you in a minute what would happen and you move it like this and to make it look a little softer you just blend it with a brush or you know, he This is the Maybelline Master Smoky.
It has a fluffy blender on the other side and I'm just blending it following the eyeshadow so I'm not going down and that will also give you a lifted look if I did that with this one. Mind you, if I follow my lash line to where my lashes end, which end here, can you see that that just drags my hair and my eye down? So this is very important. I do the same with false eyelashes. Oh yeah, next we should talk about false eyelashes. because mascara will also be your friend and again you want this part of your eye to look darker and when it comes to false eyelashes, if you use them, try to get lashes like three quarters, not those that go away immediately. here you can always trim trim four length lashes my favorite uh isla flair laughs at fled the force i've been looking for them everywhere they're out of stock everywhere i hope they haven't been discontinued because these are my favorite lashes they probably came from half of my eye and they're widened at the end and when I put on my lashes I think I have a video so if you watch that playlist with all the squinty eyes tips and tricks you'll find it when I attach it here when I get to the outside of my eye, I put it a little bit higher, I lift the lash and I stick it a little bit above the lash line, so again that will lift your eye, okay, let's put on mascara because you know you can play around and add different colors but you can see how I make different looks.
I also have a playlist called eyeshadow looks so when I remember every eyeshadow look I do I try to put it on that playlist, this is the climax of Nars and I always start from the outside. part of my eye because that's where I want the mascara for my mouth, yeah, so the reason you don't want these really thick and long lashes is because we have squinty eyes, when you put that thick lash on it's going to cover up all this light work. that thing you did to bring the cover of the phone closer to show it you will just cover it so everything you did was in vain basically this mascara is so wet I like it but you really have to wipe off the excess okay another trick once you've done it.
Put on mascara and lower your eyebrows again. Sometimes you can see that I don't see this eyeshadow much. You may have to go up a little more, so just take the brush you were blending with and don't add any more eyeshadow. and while your eyebrows are down, just shade a little bit more here, so basically that's how you can change the shape of your eye. You've also seen me doing a cat eye, that was a totally different look, so just use that shadow and light technique if you want. think about it while you fix your eye what do you want to hide put a dark color on it what do you want to show put on a light and bright color it doesn't have to be shiny but if it's matte it has to be quite shiny like my favorite one for that is mac um blanc something in white what is it? but that's my favorite eyeshadow to brighten my lid, okay my loves, I really hope you found it useful.
Nothing gives me more pleasure than receiving feedback or sending you emails telling me how. My tutorials for squinty eyes helped you a lot, it's like the best reward for me for what I do, but that's all for today, thank you very much for watching and continue being fabulous, bye.
