ing up at truck stops, there's a good vibe here , stop at a rest stop here just to use the bathroom. on the back of the coach and back on the road, I'm just walking, it's about 4:15. I'm just cruising, I'm just outside of Benson, Arizona, back on the road, finding a place to rest for the night could be really, really difficult, I like to go with the flow and see where I end up, so I hope there's a truck stop or rest area somewhere near El Paso to stay tonight. We'll see some traffic here. El Paso, Texas, it looks like there's been a little accident up there and El Paso is the first city I've seen big signs where it literally says if your vehicle stops, stay in it and call the police, so No.

I realized this may not be the safest city, from some of the clues I'm getting here, so I hope everyone is okay and this accident isn't too bad. This is what rest areas are starting to look like here, literally. I can barely get past these guys because they're all sleeping here. Thank goodness I have a lot of energy. I made sure to get a good rest last night in case this happened. I guess I could stop right here, but this is just it. It's not very, this is not the most ideal place to stop and sleep here, so rest areas are taken.

This is because of these electronic log books. These truckers used to run a lot more hours, but I think it seems like a small place there. I'm going to have to take it well, so I stopped filming last night. I was trying to find a place to stop. I went to a couple of truck stops, there were absolutely no views. I ended up driving until about midnight and stayed at a rest stop. It wasn't the best sleep because I could hear a lot of trucks passing by my room back there, so you know part of the deal if you're not planning ahead and you're not going to get RV resorts or you don't have places to stay, you're at the mercy at truck stops and so on, it didn't used to be a big deal, but with electronic logbooks it has really kept truckers honest, where before many truckers used to run two sets of logs. books and being able to go check it out, it

n't stop, I'm sitting at a truck stop here, I got my computer out, I'm going to get to work hitting the keyboard and I'm going to bring some things here, so this is nice.

It's funny that you guys saw a video called I Made a Big Mistake and it was by far my number one performance video. It already got 19,800 views in the first 21 hours. My friend Robert Constantine works here and he's setting me up with a place just to spend the night. Some people like to stay in RVs. resorts I really like to come to, I like the RV dealers, kind of facilities a little more industrial style, a little different atmosphere, but this is my speed here, so tonight I'm going camping at World here in Houston, it was a Nice afternoon at Camping World here in Houston, Texas or actually Katie Texas, I can't thank you enough for letting me stay here, but it's time to keep playing towards Florida Lake Charles Louisiana.

Another truck stop here, I love it, I still have more than half an hour. tank, but I'm ready to get off the road for a minute and have breakfast. I didn't have breakfast this morning, so I'll stop eating for a bit and keep walking. I always enjoy operating this great piece of equipment. I don't know, there's something about it, the gas here in Louisiana was only in dollars because I just filled it up in Houston. I'm in Lake Charles, Louisiana, I'm going to grab a quick sandwich here and then I'll keep following him while I get pulled over.

I'll also make some calls, take care of some business. The great thing about traveling in an RV is that you can really travel at your own pace. Sometimes I just do it on foot and spend many hours driving, other times I will. stop working here in the back of my coach every time I'm done with my work I can jump on the road so I'm enjoying the ride so far yeah I just got to the French Quarter RV complex here somewhere in Louisiana new orleans louisiana somewhere outside of mobile alabama 163.93 we have arrived in

welcomes you so last night I stayed in uh in new orleans uh unique experience I made a whole video about that experience and the resort I stayed at I stayed there, but I just walked away very excited to get to River Landings.

I'll probably

drive

to the Panhandle tonight and then we'll do the rest of the hike on Monday. If I really wanted to try hard, I could make it to River Landings tonight. but I'm not really in that hurry, okay, another 142.32 cents of love and someone's shower is ready, that's how things go at a truck stop here, I'm somewhere on the Florida peninsula, no No I know exactly where I am, I'm going to try to get a spot here, so with the electronic logs that I've talked about in other videos, it's only 5 30 6 at night and all these truckers are already there.

Parked overnight because they can only drive for 10 hours straight. I think I'll try to find a place. Looks like I'm going to get lucky here today, so I'm already settled in, so many of you are probably wondering why. I have stopped so many times to buy fuel, well I like not to let my diesel tank be 100 gallons and I don't like to let it go below a quarter tank, the reason is that to run the generator you have to have at least a quarter tank so if something were to happen I would like to be able to use my generator that's why I stop so often just to make sure I'm prepared for an emergency now that I haven't shaved I've had to clean myself for a while here.

I've been on the road. I've been a trucker type so I don't mind staying at truck stops when I'm inside my coach, this is literally like home. I'm going to get my laptop out, maybe turn on the air conditioning and fans just to drown out some of the noise, but I think it should be pretty good here, all the semis, their engines are at the front of the coach. I'm about 40 feet that way so we'll see this will probably be the last fuel stop before we get to River Landings which will be the next stop and then you'll see me shaving and looking ahead.

So that's coming soon, we're about five hours away, so right now I'm sitting at this truck stop in Florida. It's hard to keep up with all the vlogs. I'm actually editing a different vlog right now, but um. I've literally been getting emotional, just typing on the keyboard and forgetting where I am. I was literally sitting in my RV and I had to think for a second, where am I? Oh yeah, I'm sitting in a truck. Stop because I heard a diesel drive by, but yeah, nothing beats being able to forget where you are, go straight to work, and then I'll probably take a shower and pass out when I'm done editing this. video, so I'm really enjoying the RV road trip and being in the RV definitely, uh, just a different pace, but something I enjoy getting closer to, as you can see, I shaved this morning, I looked pretty rough there, I just had the opportunity to break some really interesting news about the sale of tiffin to Thor Industries, if you haven't seen that video yet make sure to check it out.

I'll leave a link in the description below, but I'm very excited now that I'm getting pretty close to the finish line here River Landings Motor Coach Resort, the most exclusive RV resort in the country. I'm excited, so I'm going in with a clean shave. I'm not going in looking like a bum. I did it there last night, okay, so I'm going to get my last tank of fuel here. I am approximately half an hour from the river landings. I just want to make sure I have enough fuel. Something always happens. You always want to be there.

Sitting with a full tank of diesel fuel, so I'm going to fill it up, but we're almost there, when I get there, I'm going to count how much money in diesel it cost me to get from Scottsdale, Arizona, to Labelle, Florida. It's nice little loves here, tell 'em we're in Florida now everything's a little greener, a little more tropical, even some pretty palm trees here for the loves truck stop and I gotta say I think the loves definitely rule the world of truck stops. I've stopped that most loving truck stop, I don't know why, they just seem to be pretty convenient and they're everywhere, so there's North Trail RV, it's kind of a trip, that's where I bought my coach, which is funny because it's about uh. 20 minutes from River Landing, it's very funny.

on a big trip since I bought it about 22 months ago, so less than two years ago I took this

motorhome

to Arizona and then to Oregon. Sturgis uh back to Oregon this coach has been everywhere. I've done about 15,000 miles in two years, so I'm definitely enjoying the trip, but I'll really enjoy being able to leave the coach here. River landings are a kind of relaxation. A little bit here and there is a really good restaurant called the Boat House, right here you see a billboard if you come to River Landings, I definitely recommend going to the Boathouse Tiki Bar and Grill.

Alright ladies and gentlemen, we've arrived and I just gotta say 79 degrees, beautiful weather, look at that clubhouse, man, this is so nice, so easy, okay, nice, beautiful day here, I think I have to straighten up a little bit, it's so nice here, it was literally four days in the minute, um that. It took me to get here. I left around 1 p.m. Arizona time on Thursday. I arrived around 3 p.m. Florida time on Monday. A really great trip. I'm going to have to make more videos about this resort because this is the place to be. Right here, River Landings Motor Coach Resort.

I've never had it good. I suppose not. I have never had a beachfront place like this before. It's definitely the place to be. I'm very excited to be here. Okay, so I have the final tally. I'm just going over everything here, all the different stops, so door to door and diesel fuel to drive my Tiffin Faden from Scottsdale, Arizona, to River Landings Motor Coach Resort here in Lebel Florida, it was $1,068 in diesel fuel in the that I stayed Free stops all the way, except for one night at the French Quarter resort, which cost a hundred and twelve dollars, so I figured about eleven hundred and eighty dollars in travel costs to cross the country.

It took me exactly four days almost to the minute and, um, I'm excited to be here. Between. In fact, it was good to see a group of old friends last night. I probably stayed up a little later than I should have, but that's okay. I rested and got things done today. and a lot of really interesting things floating around here, so there will be a lot of interesting things coming soon.
