Nicest Bus Conversion I Have Ever Seen!! SOLD!!

May 30, 2021
I don't know, guys, I don't think I've

ever

been more impressed by a bus in my entire life. Okay guys, I'm here at Premium Coach Group and I'm doing an inspection right now. I don't know if you guys know this about me. I like inspections because they are much easier for me and they are much more fun. I don't normally do inspections because I don't get any views on those videos. but this is a pretty unique, exciting and interesting bus

conversion

that I

have

here and I

have

it for myself right now. I don't do RV reviews for the most part because my partner, my main clients, wouldn't like what I have to say for the most part about RVs, but Andrew is on the other side of the country right now and I'm here alone and this has to be shared with people because it's amazing now that I'm in a showroom full of beautiful trainers, I understand it like I have a mountain there, an American Eagle, a Newell, a marathon, even those beautiful trainers of Liberty.
nicest bus conversion i have ever seen sold
What I want to show you is this guy right here, this is the most beautiful trainer I've

ever

seen

in my life. Well, I mean no. but obviously what it is is something beautiful and what excites me because I am a mechanic and technician is how well they have taken care of it. I'm not trying to embarrass anyone with their bus, their RV. Take care of it however you want, but there's an American 97 coach on the Eagle bus and I can't believe the kind of shape it's in, let's take a look at this thing, so now it's on an Eagle bus that I've never

seen

. the eagle bus before and I had never heard of an American carriage before, from what I understand they closed, well they didn't close, they closed in 2007 because the converter owner got tired of building them because He was so particular.

More Interesting Facts About,

nicest bus conversion i have ever seen sold...

The first thing I noticed about this is that it's a '97 and there's no flaw in this paint other than a small dent that you'll probably see sometime and then all this metal down here. It's not stainless steel, this is aluminum, if you can see it's extruded aluminum right there, all riveted into panels, if you look at this, there are no scratches, there are no dents, there are no dings, it's like it came off the floor of the showroom and this is a 97. Now, this just arrived in the premium model. I don't know anything about price or availability.

I was just very excited because I had to do the inspection and how do I get it right. I don't have much to write there, everything really works, everything is in beautiful condition. Now the first thing I'm going to show you isn't going to be the interior, we'll get to that, but I'm a mechanic and this is what really impresses me. First let's take a look at the roof. Now as part of my inspections I have to take a look at the ceiling and I have never seen a ceiling without peeling paint. It's not dirty, it doesn't have some problems. or some dents, this one was so nice that I couldn't, I didn't dare walk on this roof, it's just in very good condition, it still has the original satellite dish that still works, right there, there's actually the exhaust. for the generator two power vents and I don't know if these are factory original or original solar panels but I believe they are and that system still works because the faulty system in the kitchen is the original but this is one thing.
nicest bus conversion i have ever seen sold
What impresses me is how pristine and beautiful this roof is. Don't you see him very often? Now I'm going to show you the next thing that impresses me. Again, this is it. aluminum on steel doors and uh, if we go in here, we're going to go into this car compartment right here. This is a very rare sight. I want you to prepare well. I don't know if you can see this is exposed to the outside look at the inside of this door it's actually clean there's no buildup of junk junk someone is actually keeping this in good shape this is what I would expect to see from someone spending a million two million three million dollars on a bus back to the engine compartment it's back here we have a Detroit Diesel it's a two cycle Detroit Diesel I don't know if you can see how I'm going to call it pristine.
This thing is two years older than my son and all this isolation. The cords. the wire is still in good shape the whole cover on that muffler looks almost new and this is even trickier because look at this if you want to get to those it's going to be hard to get to the alternator unless you don't build these side panels look at that service access this is fantastic service access it's almost like it was built to be repaired and worked on that's crazy to me that's so beautiful okay so we already looked in that compartment now this one is completely exposed so you can actually look at the floor over there , that's the motor and look at that door, look at that beautiful door and this aluminum hangs if it ever gets dented it would get dented right there, if it were to bend it would have been bent and it hasn't been bent, it's such a beautiful thing and something else you won't see on many buses if any, it has hydraulic leveling jacks, you don't have to deal with airbags when it comes to leveling, it's securely anchored. to the ground one thing I wasn't aware of and they had to tell me about this bus it seems a little strange the tag axle is actually the front axle so the transmission these are the drive wheels and that's just the tag axle from there. on a normal or modern or standard bus like this Liberty here on the old chassis, that's the drive axle and that's the tag axle that just supports the weight and that's what actually moves the vehicle down the road, whereas this one would be the one who is moving. the vehicle on the road and that just supports the weight and this is on a uh, I don't remember what it's called, like a torque lift, it just uses torque, uh, instead of airbags and it still has a lot of life that they just have.
Get it from a diesel mechanic who actually specializes in this and has plenty of life left in the suspension so again you don't have to worry about the coach settling and leaning which is one of the biggest problems with airbags. Check out this trick. because it has no airbags, you have ground clearance, you can put a step in this thing, so you have to worry about carrying your own step with you, that's really cool, so this love fest I have for this bus continues. the other side obviously the owner made this scoop to help direct the air directly into the side discharge or the radiator and there's a 97 again so it has so many modern features that you wouldn't expect to find it has hot water heating three air conditioners in the basement. in that look, that's how it fills up right there, that's huge, you don't have to worry about anything and look at this door again, it lines up pretty quickly, um, this generator, you guys are ready for the condition of this generator, it looks like it's Brand new, look at the insulation in this compartment, it's like it just left the factory.
I don't normally see generator compartments this clean, even straight from the factory, it looks like they already have a lot of junk in them, but check this out. I could probably eat that and be fine, so you guys might not be crazy about it at all, but I don't know if you can see all these little lights, all those lights work, that this is a 97, I can't tell you how. Many times these little ones appear to be burned, but they are well labeled. You can discover everything that is happening right behind this panel. Here are the batteries and of course you have the inverter there.
I don't know if you can see it. that piano hinge right there this thing opens wide for service access these are the things I really appreciate just its water compartment so like 97 look that manifold is still working no signs of a leak down there of course that it's just your central vacuum and all your valves, your fresh water tanks right there, this is again more space for the fountain, a little cubby for your fresh water tank behind because right there, I don't know if you can see this little tube, You can check your freshwater tank. level right there too so that's where the water level is and that's how big the tank is that's pretty cool of course down here which is going to be where your super hose is going to connect and you'll have a little hose connection right there down there, yes, look how beautiful. this is underneath, I mean, the landing gear is clean, there's a pass-through storage compartment right there to the other side and there are some cool features here that I'll show you towards the end, plus the built-in storage on the right.
Up there, you might notice some vents and a little thermostat, and we'll try to get back to that because that's my favorite part. Even down here, these are the original chairs that come with them, without which you can't do a bus

conversion

. these chairs, these zipper chairs, they still have the original monograms again, look at that side wall, this is metal so you have to worry about checking it at all. We're not sure about the conversion, if they had to lift it or not, but based. on the front cover, I don't think they did it because it has the original bus windows on the front, the second set of wind windows right there, you can see them better there, so if they had to lift them up they would have had to replace them. all the parameters of the windshield and the front caps and all this looks original, but even these mirrors usually get hit and this is actually aluminum, it's not a chrome covered plastic, it's aluminum, you won't find that on modern things, okay, I've shown you some of the fun things I've noticed outside, finally we'll go inside and take a look around guys, I know, but be careful, no, don't be warned, but keep in mind this is a 97 still it is original so it still has the original fabrics from the tv refrigerators and the thing is yes they are aged but not only are they fun to look at and remember life by but they are also in great shape let's take a look, I still like it. that staircase on the right so this is the midway entrance, even the diesel mechanic who looked at this said he had never seen the midway entrance on an American bus before.
This doesn't have slides, but I don't think you missed the slides at all, I don't know. If you can appreciate this, look at all those backlights, they still work, all these buttons work, every single one of them, here's the big reveal inside, so behind that is the TV and your entertainment center, but this is like suede, I don't know. I even want to touch it because it's in very good condition, no signs of leaks, no delamination, nothing falls off, it has a unique floor plan so you have the two sofas, eh, that's like an entertainment sofa because the center It folds up and of course, that also becomes a bed.
Now I will unofficially call it a bunk bed, although there will be no bunk beds. It will be a special surprise. I'll save it for last because it's my favorite feature. So I'm going to go ahead and close the door so you have that sense of privacy here. You have to go through the driver and passenger area to get in and out, so you go directly into the living space. Now again, this is a solid surface material and This is back in the lane, that was even something that most people did and yeah, I'll get you, it gives that 90s vibe a little bit to the late 90s vibe. the 90s, but it's probably the easiest thing to fix if you wanted to update it, but I don't.
I don't even know if I would upgrade because it works so well it still has the convection from the original microwave so you can easily swap it out for a stainless steel one. You can get a stainless steel dishwasher and trash compactors. and RVs, I don't know if you guys live in RVs, but it's actually nice to have a trash compactor, the refrigerator is an RV refrigerator, so it has propane and electricity, that's for sure, I wouldn't say the strangest thing. , it's not very It's common that you don't normally see gas stoves, so you have your gas stove right there and then a propane electric refrigerator and again, this is still the original and it still works fantastic, it's nice and cold in there, I don't know if I can see the ice it has ice machine it has everything I'm just baffled by the condition of how wonderful everything is here get your kitchen dining room two sofas entertainment center right there and I said it had three air conditioners in the basement so you have one right there a thermostat right there for the dashboard area a thermostat right behind this floor this is going to control the main living room I know there are a lot of people who don't like basement air conditioners um I don't know If I could, there's great service access on this, so I already like it because it has great service access, but there are some really important things about basement air conditioning.
There are no penetrations in the roof, so you don't have to worry about water coming in through the roof, uh, so it also reduces the height of your roof, uh, you don't have water leaks in the roof due to condensation, so what you have to reroute through the ceiling to the floor so that it goes directly to the floor and the most important thing is that they are silent, you don't need to have a complicated baffle system on the bathroom ceiling tothat the roof air conditioners aren't too loud so there's a lot to like about this with three thermostats that you can because uh the front parts of RVs generally get a lot hotter because of the glass windshield, while the Rooms are usually cold even in normal weather, so sometimes one room still has to stay a little warmer than the other, sometimes you have to turn on the heating when the front is really hot, so some thermostats don't let you They allow you to heat one. zone and cool the other, you don't have to worry about that with three different thermostats, so I have it on cool mode, go down with it now, when I was doing the inspection, I was testing the air conditioning and I couldn't.
I couldn't get them to turn on, I thought maybe I was doing something wrong or something was broken but the thing is they were working, I just didn't know because now they were very quiet while we waited for the air conditioning to come on. I'm going to go ahead and walk there, but obviously I don't want to walk on the carpet. Now I'm going to put on my cleats, but I don't know if you can see here that there are little clicks on the floor and there are These little covers, they're actually corridors that close for service or for storage, and these are all the originals and all They exist, so even in the bathroom there you can see that they would go right there, so instead of putting them. down below though I'm going to put on the boots so we'll do a quick tour up here now there's all the original materials again and this leather is in fantastic shape.
I can't tell you how weird that seems. Even the steering wheel is not beaten. Their leveling system is down there. It still has the Howard trim for steering control and a nice instrument cluster. The rearview camera still works and it still has a CD player, but always. I recommend changing those bluetooths anyway, back there, this is of course your amplifier and your CD changer, I mean, this is the 90s, you have to have a CD changer, you have all the light switches there, control from here, except for the generator, if I forgot to put the step in, you can actually still retract the step right here, although it's automatic.
It now has hydraulic heating. Look, this is the original dash radio remote and it's still there and it still works. This is what it should be. in a museum just the engineering behind it, my favorite feature of course, besides the pink tones, will be that they are manual because I'm not a big fan of power, most things or smart things, now this window doesn't It opens, it's been sealed, the two front ones have been sealed so they don't open, you know, if you can hear it, the air conditioning came on, so I have one coming out there and the other one right on top of the refrigerator, right there, and that is.
I do hear the refrigerator fan more than the air conditioning, I didn't see the blender, I'll grant you it has the blender built in, but here we go back to the 90's, easy upgrade to a nice, uh, take this door off. put a built in piece of furniture, put a wall right there, you can still put a storage cabinet behind it and you will have a nice flat screen tv, just be beautiful, the speakers are hidden right behind there and they sounded great, it actually has a lot of space storage. space here, at one point they upgraded to a DVD player so look at that original VCR still mounted there again, the sink covers go on your custom molded sinks right on the counter so this is pretty modern for 97 because we Still We are doing it today, we will leave the boring things behind.
I'm going to show you probably the strangest monitor panel I've ever seen on an RV, so there's the solar system, there's the inverter controller, there's the generator gauges, and of course, uh. your hydronic heating so you can turn on your wabasto or there is actually a hot water so sorry with the diesel burner hot water you have a tankless water heater and you also have hydronic heating hydronic heating that system works too much of the same way. thermostat, you have the heat coming out of the floor right there, you can see the heat exchangers behind it, that thing is just beautiful, it came on without a problem, without any problems, you can turn the air compressor on, the auxiliary air compressor on and off here but here this strange guy is actually the monitor panel.
It's going to be hard for me to show it with one hand, but it uses air pressure and you have to inflate it right there so if you want to check your diesel tank you would press that button right there and pump it up and if it's full it'll be 30 inches uh yeah you want to check your black or gray tank, it's hard to do, yes, inflate it and yes, press the gray button to whatever goes up, so I see how full it is, I mean, it's interesting, I'll give you that. You could probably upgrade it to something a little more useful but the fresh water tank you can see from the outside it has its own level sensor your sliding doors are still very solid back here of course you have your central vacuum right there.
I don't know if you can hear that, but it actually still works, which brings me to this. it's how well it's been maintained, the central vacuum attachments are placed exactly where they're supposed to go and they're still original, the air conditioning is working in here, that nice cold air is coming out, now this has a uh how. Do I put it in a mid-coach bath? So you have to walk to the bathroom. You arrive at the bedroom. But it has a private bathroom so you don't have to walk to the bathroom area to get there. bedroom which is also a nice feature because I think this is a very well thought out floor plan without slides and sometimes you might be surprised to know that I'm not a big fan of slides unless they add a lot to a floor plan fantastic or create a lot of living space, sometimes, uh, not having slides is also a good option, so let's go ahead and turn on our fan right there, this actually has an exhaust fan right above it, right here you turn it on , still works.
Of course, it has the same toilet that we haven't made a video about before. This one doesn't leak like that. It's working fantastic, so it has its own sliding door. There is its own sliding door to the bedroom. In this shower, I can move forward. and I get in the shower and it doesn't have a brass frame so it's a little bit better. The turquoise may be a bit of a hard sell for some people, but I think it matches the rug quite well. I don't know if you can see it. Even the rug, the edge here follows the curve of the shower, but let's go ahead and get into the shower.
There's so much room here now that I'm six feet tall, so it's perfect for me, probably perfect for someone who's 6'5. I didn't have to bend over to hit my head on this, sometimes you still hit your head on this thing that goes in and out, not this one, it has very high ceilings here, so again let's see, let's call that about a foot, right there this. I'm pretty crazy again, I'm not a big salesman. I'm more excited about features like all these lights and all these switches that actually work, so on the back you have that smoked glass and then there's a glass accent if I turn it off. the bedroom lights, you probably see it, you better turn on the whiskey lights, so if I turn that one on and off, you can see that light on and up there, there's a little night light back there, but all these things are working and these It's the other things. that impressed me with this, everything is working, these are just all your 12 volt breakers, you can turn off the individual circuits right there of course your 110 breakers are there and they are so well labeled it all makes a lot of sense, oh well , that's fine and of course, Of course, you still have the TV in your bedroom.
These were really nice TVs at the time, so there's the bedroom. Still a great viewing angle for the bed. I like this because you feel like you're on a plane. That nice storage space in the ceiling. There's very, very solid in here and with one hand because I only have one hand free I can lift it up and there's a ton of storage right under the bed, that's crazy to me, I don't know if you can. look at this, the roof has been well brushed, that's how the owner maintains it, no signs of leaks, you guys saw that roof that was just a beautiful roof and point out that of course there's another vent there, I didn't turn on the lights or the shower there okay so obviously you have your sculpted rug here you have a snap cover right there this is actually a granite floor granite tile okay I'm back in the stairwell I'm going to go back up, okay, I don't know.
If you can already see, there's no handle for this cabinet, it's just a wraparound wall, part of the countertop or part of that cabinet, and they have drawers right there, so what does that handle do to be the best thing ever? So this whole thing goes up this well hidden it's right in the grout lines and you can go down to the basement and it has a built in ladder so here I am I'm going down to the basement now so here We are in the basement now this becomes on the bunk bed where you know if you were like me as a kid you would want to hang out, so there's the ladder that goes up to the floor so you can go up to the next one.
The level has its own thermostat with its own heating vent so you can stay nice and warm in here and you have a shoe cubby. If you need a shoe cubby, you can see the storage area right there, there's more storage back there. I found a space that could have been behind a bulkhead, no one would ever know, okay, let's go ahead and get this out of the way, so you have another way out of that RV or that bus if need be, so there you have it, you called. It's a barrack, we'll go back inside real quick, now I can close it and now maybe you can see it, maybe in the grout line it's hidden so well that no one would know it was there, okay guys, so there you are.
Take it just a quick little tour of this uh 97 american carriage, bus conversion. I'm definitely not the best showman or salesman for this. I do not know the price. I don't know anything but what I want. I discovered that I don't even know it is for sale. I am enthusiastic. It has almost everything you would want in a bus. Even the parks have their limitations on the age of the RVs and leave you at a rental. Besides, they're not going to have any problem with you driving this thing here because this doesn't look like a 97, it looks like a 2017 to me, it's a very, very beautiful coach, and I have to take a look at it before anyone else.
Otherwise, I was excited to do an inspection exp. about this. Thank you very much for watching guys. I don't even know if this is on their website yet, but I would contact Chad and if you want. to take a look at it, I would take a look at it. I can't imagine this lasting long now. I'm going to have to go back to work. I appreciate you watching this with me as excited as I am. to see something that well maintained, I mean, I think of supercars, uh, modern supercars, the engine bay has a window so you can see it and everyone who owns one of those keeps everything pristine and perfect, they keep it in the living room. exhibition maintained by the owner. this thing in the showroom uh it's carpeted uh the jacks come down it keeps the weight of the tires he keeps this thing very well maintained he takes care of it and you can tell just by looking at it you can see how well he maintained it and how proud he is he is part of that and I can appreciate that because this is not again, the idea was not to embarrass anyone, I just really appreciate people who take care of their things, the only stain on this entire bus is on the back cover.
I see a little bit of paint right there and a little bit of chipping right there, but that's not too bad when you consider what this is like, and of course, that pop-up camera that still works there, it's an American carriage, well, I hope they did. enjoyed. that little tour, I really enjoyed looking at it and wow, that's just beautiful, thank you so much for looking guys, it's just a little cubby in the front and there it is all the way to the back, really nice and down there will be your here. Oh, I shouldn't have shown the safe if they'd hit the satellite crank right there and of course the obligatory master switch, bye-bye.
