What's going on everyone? This is DOM and today we're going into my time so far with the

and be sure to subscribe to the channel and hit the notification bell if you're new here if you want to see more. videos like this in the future but hey let's get started so using this phone so far has definitely been a pleasure for me. I mean, there's a lot here that makes this a worthy upgrade if you're coming from the Galaxy S 10 plus or an S 9 or something like that. I mean, this phone essentially includes basically everything Samsung could put in a smartphone just because it's kind of a flexible phone, like it's $1,400, it's not cheap by any means and to be honest, it's hard to recommend it for anything. the price, but there's so much good stuff here that it definitely leaves me drooling a little, so as far as the design goes, I mean, it's kind of like Jana's movie for the

ultra

, anyway we have this cosmic gray. and we have boring colors, cosmic black, black and gray, it's an all-glass phone, obviously we have a metal frame here with a glass back, a huge camera module which we'll touch on in a moment, but overall I'm talking about the design here , it kind of follows suit in terms of Samsung's design language, now to say this phone is snappy is an understatement.

I mean, performance here is definitely not an issue, at least in my time with it, so far, the 120 Hertz display on this thing looks absolutely incredible and it's going to make it really hard to get to anything less than that alone. because of how incredible it is now that we have a six point nine inch screen here with a quad HD plus resolution of 1440 by 3200 now that you have it running at 120 Hertz, although you don't actually get that resolution, it takes you to the Full HD resolution plus 2400 by 1080, but either way I want to say that the screen is very sharp, the colors are nice, it's a Super AMOLED panel that I have literally never had.

More Interesting Facts About,

Complaints about a Samsung screen Obviously being a phone designed with glass, it will be a little slippery and the fact that it is so big that using it with one hand is definitely a task at least for me with my little sausage fingers. It's definitely not the easiest phone to use with one hand all day and I definitely recommend putting a case on it or something if you're going to get it because it's an expensive phone and well, I made a video on some of the best cases and accessories for the s20 series, you can check it using the one below, but I definitely recommend using a case on this one specifically.

Another interesting thing here is the RAM management so you can keep three apps open in the background on the 12 gigabyte RAM model and they won't close or anything due to memory restrictions and on the 16 gigabyte model you can keep up to 5 open applications. I think it's a pretty useful feature when it comes to these specs, here we have the Snapdragon 865 processor. and my specific model here has 12 gigabytes of RAM and 128 gigabytes of storage and I mean over a hundred gigabytes for me in terms of storage is enough for what I do, store images and videos, mainly some music and download some movies here and There I just got it, I have to get to the point with this whole thing, let's just talk about the camera because it is definitely, by far , one of the most impressive aspects of this phone, so there's a lot going on on the back. big camera module if you ask me but we have a 108 megapixel sensor here yes, 108 megapixels with an aperture of f-18 which is absolutely crazy, seriously some of the photos this 108 megapixel camera spits out are just incredible .

I'll leave them. A full gallery linked below in case you want to see the full 108-megapixel resolution. If I can't believe I'm saying it's a better phone but if you want to see the photos in full resolution I'll link a gallery below so I have a 12 megapixel ultra wide angle lens which is definitely good and then we have a sensor 48 megapixel here at the bottom that has a 10x optical zoom lens, yes 10x zoom, it's absolutely ridiculous how much they've packed me in and then of course we have a time of flight sensor, I think it's a point three megapixels, which is only for depth information, but which can start from an ultra wide angle lens and then go up to 100 times digital and optical.
The hybrid zoom is something amazing. I'm on the ceiling right now and this is not a wide angle view on the S20 Ultra and here we can go to 1 X 2 X 4 X 10 X 30 X and then. 100x I can see the damn Chase Field logo on the stadium over there, so we can start with the ultra wide angle lens, then we go to the 1x zoom, which is a standard lens, and then we can go to the twox zoom . then zoom four times, then zoom 10 times, then zoom 30 times and let me stop that first. I get there, 30x zoom is probably the peak of usable photos here.
Depending on the lighting it's a bit iffy so you might get some photos that are good, anything under 30 especially the 10x optical zoom is definitely great but we're on a zoom anyway 30x and then we can go up to 100x zoom and I mean, well, let's be real. It's really cool to have a 100x zoom even though it's a hybrid between optical and digital on a smartphone, but a lot of the photos I've seen and taken are like oil paintings. You can just see what it is, which is great, you can see what you're looking at, but in terms of clarity and detail it's just not 100%, which is why I feel like the 100x zoom here is.
It's kind of a looser feature, just a party trick, you know something to start a conversation about and I'm not complaining at all because I think it's absolutely crazy that it's there, but the photos it shows are between 10 and maybe. The 2025 times zoom on this camera is definitely usable, but having only a 10 times optical zoom here is quite surprising the fact that it's like a periscope, the sensor is actually here on the side and then we have a periscope that brings light and shoots it. Done, it's just the innovation here, it's just something to talk about, now let's talk about video for a second, so the video here, the rear camera is capable of recording up to 8k resolution.
Yes, 8k. I made a video demonstration if you want. To verify the link is below in the description, in my opinion it is absolutely crazy to be able to record 8k videos from a smartphone, regardless of anything else, it is great and I was personally impressed with the quality of the 8k video, of course. We also have 4k video from the rear camera, which definitely looks good in my opinion, and we have 4k video from the front camera, which is a 40 megapixel sensor, so if you want to take high resolution selfies, Samsung has you covered . and a quick little demo of the front camera video quality on this phone.
It's quite surprising now that we have such a big and beautiful 6.9-inch screen. It is definitely a media consumption machine like stereo speakers. We have a big screen, it looks great and I mean, considering all these things like everything they have included in this phone, the battery life is optimal, so we have a massive 5000 milliamp hour battery inside the s20 ultra and that's huge and I've just been using it. this for a short period of time, but in that time I haven't had any complaints about the battery that I haven't actually been able to turn the phone off completely just in my regular use with its preliminary results, I mean, I might come to like it. 6

hours

of screen on time and I still have 35 to 45 percent battery life left, which I mean, it's crazy.
I've seen other people report online that they've gotten up to nine

hours

of screen time using this thing. It is a monster of a battery and that is, to say the least, I am very happy with the performance of the software and hardware overall. Maybe some people will be a little offended by this, but this is definitely the best you can do. In terms of an Android phone at the moment, I also got to experience 5g for the first time with the s20 ultra and well, at first I had t-mobile's sub 6 5g network running inside it and that was very bad to say. at least it was just relabeled as LTE, at least around here there's nothing crazy going on with it, the speeds aren't great but I got a Verizon SIM card and was able to try out some 5g ultra wideband and let me tell you it's ridiculous as can I.
I don't think I got download speeds that were faster than any terrestrial internet connection I've personally had, it's just that the speed factor on Verizon's 5g ultra wideband here in Phoenix is crazy in downtown Phoenix anyway. Phoenix. It's my turn now, but I just had a chance to look at Verizon's 5g ultra wideband and it's absolutely stupid. This is the rear camera, the wide angle lens in case you're curious, but the speeds are ridiculous. If I had to point out any negative conclusions of the s20 ultra here, this is a stupidly expensive phone, I mean it's very very expensive and you get 100x zoom here but to be honest I think you'll only use it a handful of times and then finish this off by just using the standard tenx optical zoom here, which is still really impressive and really good, but I think it's like you know, the photos that come out of the spits are not the best in my opinion. opinion, I'm a little disappointed that for a $1400 device you don't get the 45 watt super fast charger inside the box, which seems a little silly to me, you get a 25 watt fast charger, which is nice, but for the money they are paying I think it's kind of a slap in the face to have to spend another $50 on the super fast charger on this so I've had a pretty nice experience overall there are a couple of little nitpicks but I'll keep using this and I'll keep it for the full

review
