Every Impossible Wild Pokémon

Jun 06, 2021
- Greetings Pokémon fans, Michael, here and there there are a variety of ways Pokémon can evolve. Leveling up, getting traded, and using an evolution stone to analyze under the arch in the Dusty Bowl after losing 49 hp or more from a single attack without fainting in that battle or since... that was annoying but it was a unique peculiarity. Some of these methods of evolution is that they require the influence of a coach. That means that there are certain evolved forms of Pokémon that should be

impossible

to find in the

wild

, but are found there anyway.

Today I am going to review each and

every

impossible

wild

Pokémon. Impossible means that that species of Pokémon is obtained through methods that require a trainer but is still found in the wild. Also, I'm only going to cover impossible species, not possible species at impossible levels. For example, coughing evolves into wheezing at level 35, but you can find level 16 wild wheezing in the Burnt Crystal Tower. I won't cover

every

example of that because there are so many and, frankly, I don't have time. So don't forget to subscribe to my channel as less than half of my viewers are subscribed which makes me very sad and let's dive in: Ha ha it's me Grunty Boi. - Oh, well here to steal something from me? - Not today, actually I'm here to show you something I made.

My answer will be Filmora 10 is great. And I hope to edit more videos to remind everyone that MandJTV is a dumb, dumb, stupid kid, Ta!ta! - Great, thanks, Grunty Boi. Anyway, big thanks again to Wondershare Filmora 10 for sponsoring this video. But now let's dive into every impossible wild Pokémon. The first thing we need to go over is the evolution methods that are possible in nature and therefore eliminate all Pokémon that fall under those evolution methods. The first is to simply level up. Pokémon are free to fight in the wild, which means they will gain experience points, and once they gain enough experience points and levels, they can reach their evolution level.
So that is totally possible in nature. Location-based level evolutions are also possible in the wild. The Pokémon simply has to level up at that location, which it is very possible for that Pokémon to do. It is also possible to evolve by leveling up while holding an item in the wild. In theory, Pokémon could find their particular evolution item, like and keep it, and then fight a few battles while holding it, get some experience to level up, and boom, they've evolved into the new form. That's totally possible in my opinion. The next variation of the leveling up method is if a certain Pokémon is in the party.
Specifically, Mantyke evolves into Mantine if there is a Remoraid in the party when he levels up and Pancham evolves into Pangoro if there is a Dark-type in the party when Pancham levels up. It may seem like this isn't possible in the wild, but that's only if you follow the extremely rigid definition that a group is the group of Pokémon a trainer has on hand, and I don't agree with that. I think it's just a way of explaining that they have to level up while the activating Pokémon is nearby, so if a Mantyke levels up with a Remoraid within I don't know 10 feet of it, then it will become a Mantine.
So to me, Mantine and Pangoro in the wild make a lot of sense. Well, also the wild Mantine is perfectly logical because you can hatch the baby Mantine if her parents don't hold a wave incense, then the babies will be Mantine. So I didn't really need to cover it, but it's still relevant to Pangoro. Actually, regarding the topic of cultivating incense, I want to discuss it here. It is not an evolution method, but it is a obtaining method that may seem to make it not possible to find the Pokémon involved in the wild, after all, how could you breed with incense in the wild if the parents really can't to get it? incense?
Well, on the one hand, it's theoretically possible for Pokémon to get their hands on those incenses, sometimes you can find them sitting around, but I don't think the specific incense is necessary either. I think incense items are only used to create the aroma that triggers the change in the biological reproduction process. So if a rose incense is close to two parent rose forays, a baby Budew will be produced. But I think if they did their thing near a rose bush they would also create baby Budew. Therefore, in my opinion, all baby Pokémon, even those that can only be created with an incense involved, are possible wild Pokémon.
Well, back to the evolution methods, another interesting evolution method to level up is Inkay into Malamar. Inkay evolves into Malamar if leveled up while the 3DS or Nintendo Switch is held face down, which in the real world is annoying and strange. So this might make it seem like you can't go crazy with Malabar because they don't walk inside the game consoles, but to me, turning the game console upside down is just a real-world way of representing Inkay leveling up while It's upside down, which is something you can definitely do in the wild. It simply turns upside down at the moment of attack.
That comes to the experience that makes it level up. Malamar so wild in my opinion, totally fair. Some other weird evolution methods I would cover are Galarian Farfetch becoming Sirfetch if you get three criticals in a battle, which is definitely very possible. And then Galarian Yamask evolved into Runerigus with all that stuff I mentioned in the introduction. He has to take a hit that deals 49 hp of damage or more without causing him to faint, and then cannot faint again until he walks under the arch in the Dusty Bowl. It's a ridiculous and annoying evolution method, but it's theoretically possible that it could have happened to a Yamask on its own.
A method that one might think cannot occur in nature, but I actually believe it can, is the evolution of friendship. If you had asked me a couple of years ago if an evolution of friendship could happen in nature, I would have said no, but my opinion on the matter has changed thanks to the Pokémon anime. In the first episode of Pokémon Journeys, we see that Ash's Pikachu actually used to be a Pichu, but he was able to develop a friendship with it thanks to a strong bond he shared with the mother and child Kangaskhan who took care of him for a time. .
What this means is that the evolution of friendship can be triggered not only by a bond with a person or a trainer, but also by a strong bond with other Pokémon. That means it's entirely possible to find Pokémon that evolve friendship in the wild, as long as the pre-evolved form is capable of making friends. And the last method that is definitely possible in nature is to interact with an evolution element. These are usually stones like a fire stone or a water stone, but they can also be other things, such as the apples that evolve into Applin into Flapple or Appletun.
This is definitely possible in the wild because a Pokémon could very easily find the relevant item, touch it, and then evolve. In fact, some Pokémon apparently even intentionally seek out their evolution element. Nidorino's Sword Dex entry even says that he goes around breaking rocks while looking for a moonstone. That covers all methods of evolution that are definitely possible in nature. So all Pokémon obtained through those methods are completely logical Pokémon to find in the wild. But now let's review the methods of evolution that should not be possible. The first and most important is trading.
This method of evolution absolutely requires a trainer, and in fact, it requires two of them. The way it works is that the trading machine and the infrastructure and technology of the process impact the biology of the Pokémon, resulting in its evolution once the trade is completed. However, that infrastructure is not accessible in the wild. Even if a wild Pokémon approached a shopping machine, it wouldn't be able to get through it because it doesn't have a Pokeball. This means that every Pokémon that evolves through trading, regardless of whether an evolution item is necessary or not, should not be possible to find in the wild, making them all impossible wild Pokémon.
I have to say that it is theoretically possible for a commercially evolved Pokémon to be found in the wild if it was released by a trainer, but that's a bit sad and unrealistic. There is a new Gengar wearing the Giant's cap every day. Does anyone release a Gengar every day? No, they are not. We're not talking about a trainer releasing Pokémon. We're just ignoring that possibility because that doesn't happen very often. Now let's go over the entire commercial evolution of Pokémon to see if they are found in the wild and therefore impossible at some point or another.
Alakazam can be found in Loop Lagoon and the Island Sea on the Isle of Armor. Machamp can be found in Giant's Mirror along with many different locations in Max Raid Battles. At the time of writing this video, both Golem forms cannot be obtained in the wild. Gengar can actually be found in the wild since Gen 4, appearing in Old Chateau in the Sinnoh games if there are Gen 3 cartridges on the DS, then in Thrifty Megamart in the Alola games as an SOS Battle Pokémon, then in Giant's Cabin Max Raid. Battles in Sword and Shield. In fact, Politoed has been found in even more places.
Appearing somewhere in the wild in every game since Black and White, except ORAS and Let's Go. Slow King has only been found in a couple of places. The Abundant Shrine in Black and White, Kala-e Bay in Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon and in Max Lair as a Dynamax Adventure Pokémon. All Max Lair Pokémon can be rented and found in the wild. So if they are found in the wild at any point, all Max Lair Pokémon are considered wild Pokémon. Steelix can be caught in the wild in all Generation 4 games. In Dust Clouds in Black 2 and White 2, and then as a Max Raid and Wanderer boss in Sword and Shield, as I'm sure we've all experienced.
Kingdra can be found fishing and stirring water in all Gen 5 games, as well as as a raid boss and wanderer on the Isle of Armor. Rhyperior can be found as a raid boss in various Sword and Shield locations and as a wanderer in the pot-bottom desert on the Isle of Armor. Scizor can be found as a wanderer and as a raid boss on the Isle of Armor. Electivire can be found as a wanderer in the Crown Tundra, the first time it can be found in the wild, recently. Magmortar finds himself in the same situation as ElectIvire, a wanderer from the Crown Tundra and nowhere else.
Both Porygon2 and Porygon-Z cannot be found in the wild. Which is good because it would be absurdly illogical for them to be found in the wild, they are artificial Pokémon. Huntail and Gorebyss can be found in several different games since Gen 5. They are not in Sword and Shield simply because their line is not available in those games. The next Pokémon to cover is Milotic, who finds himself in a strange situation. Before Generation 5, this was not a commercial evolution. You evolved Feebas by getting her beauty score high enough and then leveling it up. Now whether or not that would be possible in the wild is up for debate, I can see both sides of the argument, but the end result doesn't matter because Milotic is not found inwild state in Gens 3 and 4.
So it doesn't matter if it's impossible or not. What matters is Gen 5 onwards, where you evolve Feebas by trading it while holding the Prism Scale. And in these generations you can find it in the wild. You can fish in rippling waters to get him in Gen 5 and then he is a wanderer in multiple Sword and Shield locations, as well as being in Max Raid Battles. Dusk Noir was not found in the wild until Sword and Shield, where he is in Stony Wilderness and Max Raid Battles. Gigalith also could not be found in the wild until the most recent games, where she wanders around the Dusty Bowl and is found on Reigns.
Conkeldurr can be found using Island Scan on Mondays in Sun and Moon, and then he's a Wanderer in a couple of different Sword and Shield locations, plus he's in Max Raids. Escavalier and Accelgor are obtained by trading Karrablast and Shelmet with each other specifically, but both are found in the wild in Sword and Shield. Before the expansion pass, they were only in raids, but Isle of Armor added them as roamers, plus they are in Dynamax Adventures. Aromatisse can only be found in Max Raids, so there are fewer locations than many other commercial Pokémon, but it is still considered wild in my opinion.
The same goes for Slurpuff. Trevenant is a commercial evolution, which could actually be found wild since its introduction. Most commercial Pokémon could not be found in the wild until at least a generation after their introduction. It is found in Winding Woods in X and Y, also in PokePelago in Sun and Moon, and Max Raids in Sword and Shield. In Crown Tundra it became a wanderer in several locations and is a Pokémon from Dynamax Adventures. The latest commercial Pokémon is Gourgeist, which is found as a wanderer in Hammerlocke Hills, in several Max Raid Battles, and as a Max Lair Pokémon.
So, of all the commercially evolved Pokémon, the only ones that don't have at least one impossible spawn are Golems and Porygons, but many of them didn't become impossible wild Pokémon until very recently. Many of them are only found wild in Sword and Shield. I guess maybe they felt bad about having so many trading evolutions that are much less convenient than the other types, but it's illogical and should be impossible. That covers all commercial evolution of impossible wild Pokémon, but there are a few other evolution methods that I believe are also impossible in the wild that we'll now go over.
The first are the Pokémon that evolve by leveling up knowing a certain move. Now for many of these they make a lot of sense, for example Clobbopus evolves into Grapploct by leveling up while knowing Taunt. You learn Taunt by leveling up at level 35, so you just have to reach level 35, learn Taunt, and then level up again. But there isn't any move when leveling up evolution that doesn't work as well as most others, like Mamoswine. Piloswine evolves into Mamoswine by leveling up as she learns the ancient power. However, Piloswine doesn't learn the ancient power at a convenient level, he learns it at level one.
You can teach an ancient Piloswine power by going to a move reminder, but that's not something a wild Pokémon can do. You also can't breed a level one Piloswine that knows the move because Piloswine isn't the base form. All babies are Swinubs and Swinub doesn't get ancient power at level 1. So it's impossible to get a Piloswine with ancient power without using a move reminder, which means the wild Mamowine on Giant Chasm in Gen 5 and Slippery Slope in the Crown Tundra and in Max Raid Battles in Sword and Shield base are impossible wild Pokémon, or are they?
Swinub is actually capable of learning Ancient Power. You can get it as an egg move, which means that if one of her parents knows the move, the Swinub will be born knowing the move. There are several possible parents who may know the ancient power, but they will only get it through reproduction and that will be an overly complicated family tree, and I'm not going to go wrong with that. So we don't worry about those, we only worry about potential parents who can learn ancient powers by leveling up. Two of them are Piloswine and Mamoswine. As we have discussed, is it really possible in nature?
However, there is a possible third parent who could pass on the ancient power of movement to Swinub, that being Dunsparce. Dunsparce can learn ancient powers by leveling up, which is the easiest way to get around. That means that if a male Dunsparce who knows the ancient power were bred to a female Swinub, he would produce a baby Swinub who knew the ancient power, which could then not only become a Mamoswine, but could also pass that move on to other Swinubs and create more. Wild mamoswine. In short, all wild Mamoswines are descendants of a Dunsparce, which makes me very happy and I'm sure it also makes my good friend PokeMEN7 happy because Mamoswine and Dunsparce are two of his favorite Pokémon.
The last Pokémon I'm going to cover is Alcremie. Milcery evolves into Alcremie by holding a candy and then spinning it around the spin the trainer makes. This one is iffy, but I think it makes Alcremie an impossible wild Pokémon. While in theory he could get a candy to hold, I think the spin has to be done by a trainer, it's done in a particular way and I really don't know how a Milcery could accomplish it on his own without the help of a trainer. . Therefore, for me the wild Alcremies found in Max Raid Battles are impossible wild Pokémon.
In short, all Impossible Wild Pokémon are all commercially evolved Pokémon except Golems and Porygons plus Alcremie.
