decor

using Dollar Tree products. I like it, so let's go ahead and get started right for this DIY, you're going to want these shiny balls.

I picked them up in three different colors and then you'll want a grapevine wreath from Dollar Tree. I went ahead and just started. I removed all the stems from the balls and then also a couple of leaves, they look more like flowers but they are considered the leaves of this floral package here and I went ahead and just put four of them in, you can make as many as you want. In the end I ended up adding a little more so after gluing the ball groups to the wreath I realized they were a little bulky so I cut them in half so some of them would have two, some of them would have three and then I just alternated the colors and glued them to the grapevine wreath and mixed them all over, you'll want to pick up these metal words, they come in a pack of 3, say Happy Easter and Blessings, you can choose any words you want.

I'm using the end of a floral pick. It's just wired here. You can use a wooden dowel if you wish or you can connect the words to the wreath by simply placing a floral wire in the middle. stretching it to each side, but I thought it worked really well using this and I didn't mind that it was brown like the crown, so you can do whatever you want, but I think it turned out really well for our first Duke of Kirkland, especially since all the products What I use are from Dollar Tree. I think it turned out really good for next you're going to want a brown vine wreath.

I didn't have one, so I used the light colored one that you're actually going to use. I want two of those that I didn't have, so I'm improvising here and I think a lot of you might like this trick too, so again you can use whatever you want. You can also use sticks for this step. I know it sounds. a little weird, but you'll understand in a minute. I'm trimming this loose garland, basically trimming it basically like a lawnmower. I felt like I was doing. I was basically mowing grass, but you know, I turned it down and this is what it's about. almost two feet long and then I'm going to make the first loop and then I'm going to make another loop and these are actually going to be ears so when you get the size that you want you're just going to twist the wires around and you're going to do the same for the other part and if you have excess you can just cut it off, no big deal, but if you were using sticks you'll want them shaped like bunny ears for this.

I hope that gives you an idea of ​​what we're doing here and since my grapevine wreath wasn't brown I wanted to look brown so I took some paint and wanted that and then also on the greenery I added Brown. I think for this step it would be best to use brown spray paint and spray everything. I didn't have brown. I had black and white so I used what I had on hand so you can do the same. Here I went. I'm going to go ahead and glue the ears on and then I'm going to take some of that green floral wire here and I'm just going to tie the ears together because they're a little loose and I wanted to make sure they don't move around. anywhere, so once you have it and it's dry, you're going to remove some of this greenery from this floral selection that Dollar Tree carries.

I thought it was perfect and looks just like the picture so I'll use this. The box with is actually from Walmart, but it's only 97 cents for a twig and I had this in my pile. Dollar Tree has three new types of greenery so keep an eye out for ones in their store that are very similar to boxwood so now I'm just gluing it and weaving it a little bit into the vine wreath here and again you can use the size of wreath you want for this, so if you prefer a very large one, you can use that too and now.

I'm just taking those pieces of boxwood and I'm also gluing them together, alternating them along and everything and it's really not complicated, you're just going to want to interlace them a little bit so it looks nice and natural and then for the next part, you're going to take the color of flower you want. I'm taking these very light pink ones that the Dollar Tree has and I'm also going to use a couple of leaves that are on the stem and then I'm going to stick the flower on there and you can use a couple if you want, you can just use one, but I think It looks good with just a couple of those bigger ones, they're not roses, they're a mix of peony and something else, I don't know what these are.

I didn't look at the tag before I got rid of it, so I'm sorry, I'm going to add a couple of white lilacs here just to give a little pizzazz to the wreath and then just It's like putting a couple of them around the pink flowers and again You can use any color combination you choose in your home for

spring

and Easter, but I love how this DIY turned out. I think it's my favorite of all. I created them today and I think they are perfect, plus the ears are made of that, I would definitely suggest using another grapevine wreath and soaking it in water to get the ear shape or using the sticks and then I decided to take them all off and take them. one of the bunnies from the

dollar

tree

signs and add it in the middle and flip it over and I think this is really adorable too for the next project you'll want one of these baskets that Dollar Tree carries this is the biggest one it comes in a couple of different colors.

I'm using my wire cutters, but you can use them if so and you're just going to trim at the base of the basket to remove the top or basically at the bottom and I come in with my heavy duty gold, the spray paint and I'm spraying this down. Below, I let it dry and air out for a moment and once it's there, you can grab some of the flowers of your choice, whatever color scheme you choose. because these are the colors that were used in the Kirkland product so I'm using a box with sand lilacs here a couple I think lilies and then there are no tulips or it's called something else with a view like croquette or something like that. knowing I'm pronouncing that wrong so I'm going to tear off the flowers and a couple of leaves and start layering them on the bottom and just using my glue here to adhere them and with this you just want to sort of layer the pieces like this that I'm using some boxwood in there and then a couple of the other longer stems use whatever they have on hand and if they don't have any boxwood they just use what comes with the flowers that way, you don't have to duplicate them again, this is just in my stash so the blue is really pretty although I'm not a typically blue flower person but the project we're launching from Kirklands has blue in it and I think it's really pretty you can see I'm using a couple of different shades of green in this which creates a little more depth.

I'm adding these kind of greenish white flowers and then I'm using another shade of blue floral here, so If you decide to go with pink, choose two different flowers in a similar shade of pink that are slightly different, it will create a lot more interest for your project and once you have all the flowers, you'll want to use some wooden ones. has a couple of different styles and sizes of these. I thought smaller ones worked better or you could use stick-on letters. Choose the letters you are going to use, paint them first and then glue them on.

I glued mine and then. I realized they mixed it too much and then used Waverly dye to color them, but that's how the project turned out and I think it looks very, very good. I know we used slightly different flowers and I know the background is different too, but that's the closest thing I could find at Dollar Tree and I know the fonts are a little different, but I still think the end result is pretty good, especially for the price for the next project. You'll want this sign, they have them at Dollar Tree. in a couple different styles, I just flip mine over and use the back and I'm going to use that Waverly stain paint here and I'm going to stain the bottom of this, which is basically the second tier and you.

I'm going to spread it out there, you can use dye if you want and then I'm also going to trim the edges here because I noticed in my project that I'm making it curved so I'm just using my wire. cutters and shave it off and then go ahead and take some sandpaper to smooth it out. You should do this before you start painting. I didn't realize this until after painting, as you can see, so I'm going to use a little bit of white. paint here and I'm going to extend it to the third level. Now the project we're doing on the bottom level is actually white with blue writing, but I decided to leave it blue because I thought it was really pretty.

You can choose how you want to customize the colors to fit your home

style, so I was trying to use this heart to create some egg shaped feet, but it didn't work, so I went ahead and passed on that idea. next I'm going to take some burlap and I'm going to turn it inside out and we're going to cut it out and you're going to fold it and you're going to cut your shapes out of this, basically longer ovals. is what you're looking for and then you'll want to take the hot glue and add it and then go ahead and close, you can do just one coat, but two hold up better and I think it looks a lot better too. so just do two of those now I'm going to go in with my dollar tree chalk pen and I'm just writing the word happy here and I did this with the chalk so then I can go back in with my paint and get that.

I came in because my pen wasn't working so I have to get a new white paint pen. Once you have it there, go ahead and grab one of those metal words. I'm going to add some hot glue. You're really going to want to use e6000 if you want it to be a permanent hold, you're going to press it down now. I wanted to show you a little bit of what I was working on a little bit behind the scenes of my crafting mess. I'm a Messy Crafter I will say that I picked up this egg that comes on a stick at Dollar Tree and decided to cut the egg in half.

I actually thought it was foam but it's not, it was hollow in the middle and it was a perfect shape so I went ahead and painted it all white and did that for both pieces and then you'll want to take them and glue them together, add a little bit of glue everywhere and then glue them to make them work. Sounded to see the sign and after doing this and painting it pink it was too bold and I didn't like it at all so I decided to modify this because I didn't like how it looked so I picked up a book. page and then I folded it in half and cut an oval shape out of it, so basically I was eager to replace those ugly looking feet and I shouldn't make it fit my home decor style more so I ripped off those little feet that they come.

It comes off pretty easy but I needed to repaint a little because hot glue takes away a little bit of that paint, no big deal just readjust and apply that and then you're going to hot glue the pages of the book where you had your feet . originally and then you're going to want to take some twine and I went ahead and wrapped it around the edge of the book pages so it sticks out a little bit and I think it looks really cute so I just added a bead. of glue there and I hot glued it all the way down and then I also added all the embellishments around the ears just to highlight them a little better and then I glued a little tail on it and that's how it looked and I think it's super cute.

I know it's a little different, but overall I really like how it turned out. For the next project you are going to want a piece of wood. I'm using the piece of wood I had left over. I'm also going to use Use this Dollar Tree sign a little smaller and I wanted it for the back so you can get two different Dollar Tree signs if you want. I'm also using this truck left over from Christmas. Dollar Tree has an Easter sign this year. that but my stores haven't released Easter yet so I'm working with what I have on hand.

I ripped the tree out from behind and I'm going to use this dark gray color for the tree or for the tree on the truck. and I'm going to paint pretty much the entire truck, as well as the wheel wells, except for the wheels themselves, which will be white to mimic the image we're doing here now. I'm taking that Dollar Tree sign and putting it up. a white paint. I would recommend not putting the paint in a wavy line because you had to go back and put another layer to get rid of it, so make sure you apply the paint with a brush and in the direction you want. go and avoid the mistakes I made here.

I also took that a little bit of gray and basically made it a shiplap look. You can use a marker for a straighter line. I just mistreated my enemies, that's what the sign looks like. I took some regular glue, you could use Mod Podge to spread it on the base of your larger wood sign and I'm using this fabric that I had leftover, which was perfect, it's from Joanne's, it's very inexpensive, but Dollar Tree has a print bigger than this. on the scarf, so if you want to try it, you can do that too, but I always like to work with what I have on hand and I'm just trimming the edges here and now I'm going to stick the overlapping white sign on top of This and you're just going to want to want to want to center it, you'll have a littlespace between them.

Now you can choose the large or small one you want for this sign. That's the beauty of DIY. You can customize it for your decoration. I'm also taking some of the wooden letters that Dollar Tree has and I'm going to paint them with that gray color that we used before and let them dry now. I'm just using my marker to draw freehand locally. I grew and was doing really well and then it got a little smaller as I went on so you can always use sticky letters for this. Go ahead and stick your wooden truck basically right in the middle and then you're there.

I'm going to take those wooden letters and I actually had to cut mine up a little bit, the little frilly parts that way it would all fit together. I guess they were a little bigger than I expected, but again, Dollar Tree carries two different sizes of these, so just to work with what you have, Dollar Tree carries these really cute carrots in a six-pack, I think, like this I had one blanched last year and decided to use it, I just split it in half with hexane. which was actually better so I shortened it and then cut it in half that way it was flat on one side around the other so I went ahead and glued it on and then the excess thread that I just had.

To glue it back on, since it was wrapped around the original carrot family, it would stay in place and I ended up putting in three of those and a couple of different sizes, but I only used one carrot for everything, so one carrot will get you four. pieces if you cut it in half and then in half again and then you're just going to take a little bit of that greenery you can cut it that way it doesn't interfere with your written patch there and to finish off this sign you're going to want to add some wood trim or You could use some rope from the Dollar Tree like I'm doing and just hot glue it on for a really cute look.
