I was recently working on this role where I was going to play an Israeli guy who's kind of a gangster and I remember going into the dialect. coach and I said um you know I really need to work on this and she said well why don't you audition by sending me?

You know you're doing the Israeli accent, so I ended up doing it, it's a beautiful accent, it's an amazing accent and stuff. it was because you know you throw yourself into it and it's beautiful, I have to learn to do that because everyone gives me the impression that when they watch Star Wars it will be like I've never heard a Boston accent in outer space and then I always I want to say well, what about English? Don't you think it's strange that you're in a galaxy far, far away and everyone speaks English? That wouldn't blow your mind if you went to another planet and someone just said, Hey Mike, what's up, right Mike?

What's up, but yeah, yeah, do you understand what they're talking about? Yes, Chewbacca speaks Bigfoot and Han Solo speaks English, they never change languages ​​and they totally understand each other. They had the balls they felt they had. All these people I was working with were in this crazy makeup, uh, like they looked like aliens and I just remember thinking how am I doing. I'm going to get into the reality of this, this is crazy, but they were so good after the first take, I was like, "Oh my God, they're going to kill me on this like I have to," and after that you forgot they were using costumes and in between takes you're talking about global warming and they're using all this space stuff and you just forgot, it was really one of the great experiences I've had in this business to be able to do something like that and uh and then the fact that the people saw it and really liked it, it was as much as last year, it was difficult, people said they liked it, it was definitely a highlight, so you think you were here, some acting, what is that?

I've been watching that show, uh, call my agent, it's like it's a French thing, yeah, and it's like it's um, you know, it's in the office, so it's really like some kind of common language, so I have the French subtitles on and I keep pushing. pause trying to understand what they're saying, I mean the comedy doesn't work because it goes by too fast, but my wife hates that I like to read, yeah there are people who don't do that, like I just want to watch. a movie I don't want to sit here reading mine is that I'm really bad at reading so it always happens that's how I learned to read subtitles and stuff.

I get anxiety when I went to the movies and there were subtitles like they took me back to high school and I failed everything and they always went by too fast and I had to ask my wife what they said and she would hit me by shutting me down. because my wife can read very fast, but it's cool to see people from other cultures like that and be able to immerse herself in that, yeah, I've been watching the criteria channel, it's amazing, it's amazing, I think what's going to happen is that we're going to keep talking and we're going to look up and everyone's going to leave, do you ever get that feeling?
