Airsoft Loadout - Milsim Loadout on a Budget

Jun 05, 2021
What's up guys, New Jersey

airsoft

here? So in today's video I'm going to go over my

airsoft

gear and how to not spend a lot of money when trying to put together cool but affordable airsoft gear. With that being said, let's dive in and watch this video. I will focus on my equipment and what I wear on the field while playing. I won't really focus on my weapons. This video I will make a separate video in the future so stay tuned for that when it comes to anything. What I'm talking about today, I'll post everything in the description below, links or things you can possibly search to find what I'm using, so to start off this video, let's talk about what I use in the field as far as camouflage in my combat .
airsoft loadout milsim loadout on a budget
Put my pants on and all that. I have here the lbx tactical assault combat top in multicam. I bought this at evike for fifty dollars. Excellent combat shirt. It works very well. It has an excellent price. It won't be something like crying precision, but it will also be. much cheaper in terms of price, I have the pants, plus the pants are very comfortable, they offer a lot of storage space, I have a button up here and a zipper, many pockets as I said and they are a resistant material, so they are not for me I'm not going to break or, you know, get hurt while you play on the field after my lbx team.

More Interesting Facts About,

airsoft loadout milsim loadout on a budget...

I have my Emerson Gear Gen 2 combat shirt and pants on one or one, so if I'm playing on tan and some of the courses play on don't allow multicam, it's a little confusing, you don't know if it's green or tan, so they will require a different type of camo so you can tell what team you are on and I chose aor1 because I just think it looks cool but the Emerson Gear combat shirt here is gen 2 so it's supposed to be a replica of the Cry Precision Gen 2 combat shirt, a much better price compared to what you would be paying.

Because cry, cry, obviously like I said before, it's going to be like the gold standard in clothing, tactical clothing, Emerson gear is nowhere near the quality, but for what we're doing playing airsoft, Emerson is a great option for this so like I said it's supposed to be a replica of the gen 2 crying things I bought this shirt and pants set for 122.96 on aliexpress so you know you'd pay over 300 for the crying pants and probably close to 200 or more for both of their combat shirts. I bought it for 123 on aliexpress, if you don't mind waiting, aliexpress is a great website to get things, it will come from China and you won't get very good quality things, but you will get enough to serve you well. great for a

milsim

um airsoft game and you won't have any problems.

I have never had any problems with aliexpress. The only thing is the waiting time. You might have to wait a couple of weeks, so here I have the pants and these are actually knee pads. Around the knee there is velcro, not elastic velcro, so with a little stretch you won't have to pull too much when you kneel to the waist. It is elastic with a zipper and many pockets. The elastic actually wraps around the waist. Also like I said there's a lot of storage in here the camo is pretty nice and again an Emerson kit so next on the list I have the gloves I'm going to use I use mechanics they're cheap they're not going to break the bench don't have any padding the ones I use I like something that has some dexterity so I can maneuver and there really won't be much on the bottom or the back that will prevent me from You know, having maneuverability inside the gloves so I like these.
These range from 15 to maybe 25 at most. I bought them on Amazon, but go to the Google search mechanics and choose, they have a ton of gloves, you know they have. the fingerless ones where they have, you know, cuts on the fingers, you can always cut off a finger if you want to use it as your trigger finger, things like that, but these are the ones I choose, they're super lightweight, they don't get too hot and Like I said, dexterity, they have maneuverability, so I like mechanics, so next I will talk about my shoes. This is something you shouldn't skimp on just because it's a

budget

-friendly design.
I would not do it. I suggest buying cheap shoes, make sure you buy something that is durable, long-lasting, waterproof and lightweight, because if you are doing a

milsim

event and you are going to walk or walk a few miles just to get for your year, you will want something that be comfortable and really hold up while running in the mud, rain, snow, whatever it is, so I choose Salomons, these are the media x ultra 3 gtx, a great boot. They're not very worn out yet so I haven't tried them in a while, but I bought them on Amazon for about 165 with shipping and everything so far.
I love them waterproof, uh, really, very light and they will hold up. Well, they're mid-top, so it'll protect your ankles and hopefully keep you from twisting your ankle too much, just give you that stability and stuff while you're running, you know, on rough terrain, whatever it may be. It may be, but again I suggest you buy a nice boot and make sure you don't have to buy it twice. You know what they say. Nice purchase so you don't have to buy it twice or something like that. I don't know the exact price. but you get the gist so the next thing i want to talk about and something you definitely shouldn't skimp on is your ipro.
Here I have the desert locust review goggles that I bought at evike for $60. Excellent glasses, not too bad with fogging. So I haven't really had many problems with fogging, which is great. I was actually able to wear them over my glasses, so there was a period where I was out of contacts and didn't have any to wear in a game. and I was desperate so I made a notch in the gasket material here and just made a notch enough to fit my glasses in there and they actually fit really well, no problems, no fogging up again.
Great glasses and I paid $60 for them so no. incredibly expensive but not that cheap either, just make sure when you buy any ipro that it is z87 rated and I will say that most courses will require it to have a full sealing gasket which obviously glasses like this have my other option. These are going to be my oakley m 3.0 frames and I bought them on Amazon for $136, so again, these are more expensive, but they are really nice. These are the ones that are ballistic rated, so they are z87 rated. Actually, I bought them. It came with the helo gasket kit so what it does is it just clips right onto your goggles and now you go from shooting goggles to fully sealed goggles which most ranges should allow this because it's a full seal around the eyes.
I like these because they are very low profile, obviously you can notice this size comparison. When I wear my helmet, the goggles get in the way a little. There is a small space between them so they don't get in the way, but be careful with this. It will leave a large part of your face open, your forehead will not be protected. I probably have an inch or two gap from the top of my goggles to the top of my head with the bottom of my helmet, so be careful with this. It will leave a lot of your cheek exposed, a lot of the side of your head exposed and your forehead, so if you don't want that to happen I suggest wearing glasses, but if you don't mind and want something you can actually see better with you I suggest the Oakley M Frames znc's z 87 ballistic version rated with the Helo kit.
Great option, so next on the list is the crash helmet I'm using. I'm using an airsoft pajama type quick hit. helmet, I bought it on Amazon for 33 dollars, it is a good and affordable helmet, you don't need to do anything like what you know on something like a Wendy kit that will cost a few hundred dollars, a crash helmet for airsoft is more than enough, just me I actually wear a helmet because I want to use a gopro. It's a little easier to plug things into it with a battery on the back, so this is why I use a helmet.
An excellent helmet, comfortable enough not to get in your way. and it doesn't sway much on my head, so I'm very happy with it. So far I have a coyote brown tigress helmet cover that will give you plenty of velcro space on the sides and you can actually put patches on it. I attached a light here, an off light, so it will flash red and then if I click on it one more time, it will actually flash at the same time, that being said, if you are playing at night and need a very bright light, your teammates will know you're there if you have the strobe on, especially it could illuminate you, but they'll know you're there and then if you're dead they'll hit you, you throw this at people.
I see you from a decent distance. If I turn this way, I actually have lights coming on here, so they're on right now blinking, but you can't see it, so there's no point in having it on. Actually, it is an airsoft strobe light. I bought it on Aliexpress for 17.59 so not too bad, pretty good light, very bright and again not going to break the bank but you may have to wait since it comes from China. If we move back, I have the counterweight from my helmet battery. bag this is going to hold my external battery for my gopro which is going to be forward mounted this holds a 10,000 milliamp battery here if I had nvgs I would put a counterweight here but I don't normally use nvgs so I'm just going to throw my battery in here and then the I will pass through the loops of a tigress so that the cables do not get too dirty.
This was 1750 and you go to Amazon and you can get it right there. it's crydex so it's a decent material that will hold any battery pack for the most part and then here you have velcro straps that you can put a chem light or something on to hold but I recommend this especially if you're using a gopro because the batteries aren't going to last that long, if you're playing a game overnight or something that lasts longer than you think, just a few hours, you'll want to use an external battery with your gopro on the go. the front I have a black gopro hero 7 I love it it's a great camera we want we're not really going to talk about that because it's not part of my actual equipment per se that would be more like film equipment but as far as I use a secure gopro mount on my mount, whoa um, I bought it for 18 on Amazon, it didn't cost me much, very nice, I've never had any problems with it and it attaches very easily, it doesn't wobble on my head, it doesn't move. gopro filming usually turns out great so it's a great cheap mount and easy to get on amazon in a few days so next on my list will be my Tak Sky Compta Two.
These are a replica of Peltor Com Tact Two. The much cheaper quality is nowhere near what you'll get for Peltor, but again, Peltor you'll spend over 500 on a pair of Peltor contact lenses, so getting these types of tax for 118.99 is worth it, these actually They fit quite well. to my ear, the actual stuff around here is like a rubber seal in your ears, it's not that good, so it won't impede all the sound, it won't actually be super nice for very, very loud shots, like shots and stuff like that, but I'll do the job, um, I probably would, if you're really worried about grenades and stuff like that, you can spend the money, but as far as you know, depending on the excellent use of the grenades, these should be fine, no they should be as frequent, but uh, again, these are push to talk, so I have my push to talk button down here that I would put on my shirt, press the talk button and then I can talk to my team depending on whether I have a radio setup or not, but it's easy to stand up and set up very easily, so it's a good option that won't break the bank. 120 bucks tops and you get them on Amazon so next we'll go over my plate carrier and other things that are actually attached to it so here I have an Emerson Gear 420 Play plate carrier that I bought for 107 on Aliexpress.
I'll keep mentioning this if you don't mind waiting. Aliexpress is a very economical option. This plate carrier is a replica of the lbx armadis 2 plate carrier. It costs around $230, a great affordable option for that, it will be basically the same for the most part. uh lbx armadis2 will be better quality, but for the price you're paying for this, it works great for airsoft on this plate carrier, you've got a ton of velcro, some storage up here, the entire front panel is actually velcro, which is where your sashes will be attached and then from there you can place different accessories here, like I have my Emerson micro team fight again.
This is a replica of the Spiritus Systems Micro Fight Magazine Holder. I think it was 36 on aliexpress compared to the eighty dollars you'd spend on a Spiritus Systems micro fight. That said, the Spiritus systems I know are always out of stock on the coyote. brown ones so getting them is even difficult, you're going to spend more money and they're pretty hard to get so I went to aliexpress and it took a little while but I got it for almost half the price. Six magazines that fit. Here again, these inserts actually come out, so these stretchy inserts come out,so I can put, you know, three magazines in the back and then I could adjust this to be a different type of holder for various objects, tools, whatever I can.
It fits here, I can convert it to a pistol magazine, inserts like that, but everything is interchangeable and then you have velcro on the front for various patches. I have my United States Merchant Marine patch, my Gate Titan patch and then I have a chemical light stretch mount. So I can put chemical lights in here. Anything you know, a knife, maybe if it's a small knife or a flashlight, a really small flashlight, attack light pens, anything that fits in here is elastic so it could stretch. a bit, but it's another good option, the only modifications I had to make to this.
This was because the clips from the actual plate carrier and then the clips from the micro fight replica were actually two different sizes, so what I did was cut the clips from the micro fight and used smaller clips and sewed them together. again and then I trimmed it so it's also attached with the velcro and the clips so there won't be any problems if we turn this thing over. Oops, we have a back panel that is completely Velcro. This rear panel here is an Emerson gear banger pack. It is a replica of the lbx. banger pack, so you're going to have four grenade pouches back here, you're going to have a little storage space here with velcro in the front to put patches in and then you're going to have a bigger pack here to put an hpa tank in.
Here I have a 684 4500 hp tank that fits in here, all right, you put in your hydration bladder. Things like that, everything will fit here. As for how I attached it back, it's velcro. I cropped it here and they actually matched. This time I was able to attach it very easily. If you don't like this one, I have another option that I'm not going to show in this video, but basically just unhook this, crank it up, and then hit the next one. there you don't have to worry about Molly uh accessories weaving it in and out and all those things that take a little bit of time, you know, a decently long time, um, these few seconds, put a new one in and that's it. wow but they're not going to rip off either so good options here i have this banger pack of exploding bag i guess let's see i bought this for 43.95 on aliexpress the lbx version is uh eighty bucks so again i'm paying a fraction from the price uh and basically I'm getting the same thing with a little less quality but for the price I'm paying it's great and it does what it needed to do well, back to the front I have a krydx tactical bag this is a replica of the otp sac bag mark ii from Spiritus Systems basically the same thing, they are quite stretchy in the front, small front storage bag here and then here I have a bag that I keep my snacks in, so if you are looking for a snack bag, I highly suggest the excellent krydx droplet uh drop bag option, it will be 20 compared to the spirit of systems bag which will be 70 dollars, so again, a fraction of the price for exactly the same thing for the most part, all good, until the last one.
I'm going to go over a few things about my battle belt and before I get into this I just want to let you know that I don't wear a battle belt very often to a milsim event. I could do it, but you know. As for local games, I'm never going to run it. This is a classic military battle belt. I bought it for five dollars in airsoft gi. It's not the best quality, but it did what I needed at the time. It's going to hold my Gun, uh, holster, save my bag for any empty magazines I may have.
I'll throw it in here as far as a battle belt goes. In fact, I just ordered a new one that will be more rigid, it has the double belt. The inner belt and outer belt are better quality so I will go over that in a future video but for now all I really need is my bag and a holster for my glock. I rarely use a weapon, but for the most part if I'm doing a Milsim event. Maybe I want to have one because I'd rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it, but as far as this goes, I don't know where the case is from, I guess.
I paid about $40 for it, such a nice hard case that holds up and doesn't wobble at all. It will come out immediately and you can pull it out with a little tug, but it won't get stuck there or fall out. This is actually it. a condor drop bag the tri-fold magazine recovery bag. I bought this for 13.95 on an airsoft gi. It's great, it holds all the chargers I have. I carry six or seven, so I can usually fit six in here without a problem, I don't think. I've ever had to run and put seven in there because I usually keep it on my gun until the end of the game when I have to take it out, but again, a big drop or drop bag recovery bag has elastic in here so that You can actually seal this so nothing falls out, but I've never had a problem and then if you want to close it, you can close it so nothing comes out of this thing and you know it's Molly.
It attaches very easily, but as far as my equipment, that's basically all I'm going to use as far as equipment, uh, weapons and things like that that I'll do in a future video, so stay tuned for that and, with Good luck, See you soon, well guys, that's all for my video, I hope you enjoyed it.
