I'm Mindi molar I'm a Radio City Rockette and this is how I work it. I'll guide you through 24 hours of my beauty and wellness

. The Christmas Spectacular season lasts a total of three months. We learn the program. In three weeks, more than a million people come to see us perform. We will perform up to 200 shows in eight weeks. It's a lot, a lot, but it's fun. One of the most challenging aspects of the job is athletics. It's exhausting, but at the same time. time I spend every day with some of my best friends, we lift each other's energy and that's the best part.

Good morning, it's 9 a.m. m. and I'm ready to start the day. I'm in the evening cast, so I'm going to sleep. I soon have two cats, so they like to wake me up very early in the morning, which is a lot of fun. I love my cats, but not at 5:30 in the morning, yes, around 9:00 9:30. I usually wake up, make my coffee and have an almond milk latte, wash my face and that's a really important part of the day as well. My skincare that I will be using is the fresh soy facial cleanser which is really great, it's still nice and bright, then the facial spray.

I like the way it makes my skin feel. I used Fresh Youth Preserve Daily Moisturizer. Okay, I'm ready because we are burning up to 5000 calories a day. They're definitely on season eight now. Four solid meals a day. Lots of carbohydrates. a lot of protein i drank at least three liters of water a day and what i really like to use is intravenous fluid, this helps me get through multiple shows a day that are supposed to tickle your hydration. I usually sit on the floor in my living room and I'll do my stretches and roll out my shoulders, get my hamstrings, work out today.

The Rockettes have been around since 1925 and the Christmas Spectacular has been around since 1933. In fact, I auditioned three times at the first audition. They cut me off immediately. I re-auditioned a few times. Months later I went a little further and they still cut me off. I kept training and training and training again until the third audition and I got the call that I was a Radio City Rockette from New York City after the audition every year, no matter how many years who. I have been in the company. I am in my eighth Christmas season and it is a great honor to be part of the ladies in line.

That's my apartment. My belongings ready to face the day before arriving at the theater. I try to do some kind. of physical activity to really make sure my muscles and body are warm and have already been used. take a yoga class. I'll go to the training pool. I arrived at the beautiful Radio City Music Hall at the door of my humble stage. Let's do this. We have an athletic training department that was actually created by a former Rockette, Mr. Ice Bats. There is PT. We have a really wonderful team of athletic trainers that help us warm up, cool down, and deal with any injuries we are currently dealing with.
They are two women's companies there are a total of 80 Rockettes divided into 41 morning casts and one evening cast we do our own hair we do our own makeup half an hour before the show starts all the Rockettes must be registered and stationary in their dressing room, so It usually takes me about 20 minutes to go from looking like this to transforming into Rockettes because I have a really amazing foundation, I'm Ilya, it's a clean new makeup line, you guys shake it first, so I'll shake it first. Up to two or four shows a day we have to constantly reapply and I'm prone to breakouts and it's super light and doesn't feel like it's filling my pores after foundation and then I'll use my concealer, it's also an Ilya Product, concealer of true skin serum, up to five pumps a day, you know, you get nice little dark circles under your eyes, but they're all a lot of love, yeah, uh, take my nice, handy dandy sponge.

We have freedom of movement in terms of the direction we twist our hair. We teach the young girls who want to be the Rockettes the choreography of the actual show. In reality, it is a year-round job. I like to hold the shoe with my real hand. toes so I don't feel like I'm slipping definitely scares a lot of girls I work with because you look down and see ten toes sticking out of a pair of socks, but it's my thing, I love it. it helps me get through a show the show lasts 90 minutes with no intermission and then we have a full 90 minutes from when the curtain goes down to when it goes up again ok, i just finished the first show of the day we are definitely going to take a nap we have air mattress in storage in our dressing room very, very important for athletic training make sure my body feels pretty good get a good rest before the next show definitely have a snack definitely eat like it's another meal have a snack turn up my cereal and pray and there's definitely a cookie selection of jars, I'll take one of this and then half an hour in we start touching up our makeup or touching up our French touch and then we put on our deer jumpsuit and do it all over again, which I usually like to do, especially if It's for On the day of the show I'll wash my face completely and sometimes I'll start over, especially when you're sweating a lot and you feel like you taste dirty and it makes me feel like it's a new day We do up to 300 kicks at each show That's a lot of kicks There's a Full stretching regimen before and after the show to make sure I'm back to a nice home base after the show ends.
I usually try to remove all my makeup at work. I'm going to put on white lady makeup just to cleanse myself for the day and I'll do it with the dirt and sweat and then I'll take a shower at work so when I get home I'll be nice and clean. I'd rather have it all done in the theater and then it's kind of a nice close to the day and saying thank you very much. since I am good and clean now I like Allah shampoo and conditioner when I wash my hair I also use a hair milk that really moisturizes my hair and I will wash my face with a cool soy cleanser and the cool night mask I will definitely do unfold this is not the last thing I will put on very comfortable sweatpants I am a big winter coat and then I will take the train home Oh, finally home, the last thing I do I go to bed and I lie down and I think I said to myself: "You did a good job today, it was good, it was a great day."
