I wonder if obsessively lining them up like this is really the best use of my time. Well, and these are two different sets, one for each size, so we have a skinny set and a fat set. sorry thick, so how beautiful are our paste pens, their

I'm sorry. about that, I have this box full, yeah, that's weird, okay, I bought this box at the dollar store for a dollar and it's a magic box, okay, I'm done first. Here I am applying that. Gesso is like a primer, so when you're not painting over something that's already white, you'll ensure your colors pop. Do I need to do this? Probably not, actually, no, definitely, no, the color looks pretty bold on its own, but I continued anyway, I really wanted to do this just to be safe instead of possibly having to do a bunch of layers with my paste pens and use more of your precious, expensive paint, so I just primed it beforehand to make sure all those colors pop well. Now bring my precious little beauties.

I need to at least try to be less creepy and now we are ready to paint or draw exhausted, here it goes, it's over, no, it's not done. I'm going to keep going, you know, exhausting mmm. a bunch more of those weird random shapes and let me tell you, I like these markers or pens, paint any color that doesn't look as dull as others, like this kind of radish color, no matter how many times I go over it. It never seemed to be completely opaque, but overall they were pretty good and it was definitely much quicker and easier than if I had tried to do this with a brush, of course this could never replace regular paint because you know you can't mix them. and you are definitely limited to these colors, but you can still do some interesting things with these.

I'm getting close to the cover now, so why the shapes? What am I doing here? Because this seems like a lot of nonsense. Yes Yes. I know I wanted to do something a little easy and for the first time wearing them, I just want to feel them, don't forget that lip, I have to go on that lip and wear a bunch of different colors in the outfits, what am I supposed to? It's art, okay, so the whole box is covered, but there's definitely some cleaning to do. Some of the edges don't look as hot. Fortunately, you can easily fix any mishap and it will be cleaned up in no time.
This is not busy enough and strange looking. I'm going to add some contours with the skinnies. I just started outlining random shapes with random colors. Some of them have double contours. Some of them have no outlines. No rules. chaos, it doesn't make any sense it's a magic box, that's what magic looks like. I'm going to sign the inside well and now I'm going to grab some Mod Podge. Will it fade? No, it won't fade at all. It's like acrylic. Paint so it doesn't smudge and here it is, yeah, it's wild and crazy, and wow, that's a lot, but I like this.
I think it turned out pretty cool and unique. I like that when you put the top on it's like you did it. To solve a little puzzle, you know, put the sides together. I'm very simple and now it's full of rhinestones, so it's cool. The next thing I'll try is rocks. I've painted rocks here a couple of times and I'm thinking, do you know that pasta can be a great new member of the rock painting team? I don't know what I'm talking about after washing them, always bathe your rocks before painting. I'm going to pour some plaster.
Yes, again, I forgot to dry them. I took out my brush to get some water, so it diluted the plaster a lot, but we'll recover from this. I think a couple coats of plaster are necessary this time because the rocks are a little dark and the rocks are a little difficult to build on. They paint over them and drink up the paint, so you usually have to apply several coats before you get good coverage on a rock. Now I'm going to grab some acrylic paint. What did you say? You were using pasta. You're a liar. I'm going to mix.
Combine three pretty pastel colors with acrylic paint for the base color of each rock. I feel like pens are better for detailed work. I just didn't want to have to use them all over the rock now that I have a solid color. for the background I'm going to go in with the pens and make some little patterns. I feel like I like it that way, I don't know, maybe I should have stopped here, but I went ahead and added a bunch more. detail, the green squiggles look like s, which reminds me of bowling, I just point it out and here it is, what do you think, moving on to the blue rock?
I made each pattern in rainbow color order, which is the best order, I will say. Thick markers work much better here. You see? I tried using the thin ones but they didn't work very well. The tips are too pointy, so in certain spots they would get caught and then start to lift the paint. Underneath this he might have looked a little better if he were one of those precise people, you know, those people who are like human tape measures. Yeah, that's not me. I can't draw a straight line to save my life. I can place things evenly spaced, so yes.
You're a little unstable, that's called character and purple rock is my personal favorite. I think they got better as I went along. You know, practice makes better. I've done different things with cave painting in the past, but I feel like this is more typical. Cave painting style, if that's possible, I'll now put a nice coat of Mod Podge on them to give them a nice shine and protection. Sign them with my initials and that's it. I think they turned out pretty and colorful and I like that. they all go together they look very lively you know, being rocks they were also very easy to make which is always nice don't ask me what you're supposed to do with them I mean I just use mine as decoration .
Sometimes I use them to hold things or weigh things, in fact they are more useful than you think, but everyone needs a good rock in their life and the last thing I am going to try is in shrink plastic. Yes, I love shrink plastic so these are products that shrink, which I really hate to say shrink and these are the rough and ready kind. I'm not sure if paste pens would work on the soft type of products that shrink, I don't know. that would have to be tested and here is all the very important safety information in instructional details, blah, blah, blah, okay, first grab a piece of paper or three five six, now I'm going to sketch out my design.
Once upon a time, I made a hundred shrink wraps. pins in a video I used a lot of ideas in that video, but I didn't make a set of cute monsters and it's absolutely necessary to have them in my collection, so here I'm going to create some weird looking weird creatures. I think this is just a whole video of weird designs sorry and yeah this guy's arms gave me a little problem they're ears they're arms what's going on here here are the six little creatures I'm working with so I'm going to place my plastic over the sketch cut it out get some tape it's all a struggle put a couple of pieces of tape in there to secure them together okay so let's see if this works yeah the pasta containers had no problems with the plastic it They placed very easily, in fact, I wish I had this for that 100 pin video because I struggled with those colored pencils.
This would have been faster and easier. What is this? A mutant owl. Here goes the next one. This one looks like some kind of Pokémon or something. Maybe be. the mouth maybe it's the shape, I don't know, but it looks like Pokémon II to me, there was a failed attempt, the orange was too dark and that one, so I changed it for this lighter orange. I didn't want to use this orange one at first because it seemed too soft but it looks much better in the end this purple thing is probably my favorite some kind of unicorn bumblebee bear with buck teeth somehow that combination turned out very cute oh this guy something about that expression It looks like it just farted, excuse me, and the last one is a very confused or just uncomfortable upright cat, which is all of them, they've all been colored and they're all done, so now I'm going to rip that out.
Draw and cut out, cut out, cut them out carefully and carefully, don't break the plastic. Oh, this is my least favorite part. Freedom. Okay, now I'm going to get out a baking sheet, some parchment paper, and I'm going to put them in the oven for a minute at 325 degrees. The Fahrenheit boom was reduced, as you can see they shrink quite a bit, the color becomes more condensed, so in the end they look a little darker and go from a thin flexible plastic to a hard thick plastic in the places where I reviewed one. The area many times became a little hairy, unlike the others, which came out nice and soft.
I put a nice thick layer of Mod Podge over these and that seemed to help make them look a little less noticeable overall. very happy with how they turned out. I think they look very cute. The paste pens make it very easy to do neat details on these and they turn out quite well. Great addition to my collection. I haven't 100% decided what I'm going to convert. I may make them into magnets, but I'll probably glue them to the back of the pins and add them to my pin collection. Well, that's all for today. I'll be sure to add links to all the materials I used in this video, of course.
The links will be to Amazon, but if you don't shop online, I'm sure you can find any of these things at your local craft store and some even at places like Walmart and Target and things like that. I hope you like this. I had a lot of fun with these thanks for watching, I'll see you next Friday, bye.
