26+ DOLLAR STORE ORGANIZATION IDEAS & EASY HACKS COUNTER OR TABLETOP & UNDER THE SINK (Com

May 30, 2021
Hi everyone Josie, laugh at 50 and up. Thank you for joining me here on my channel, where you will find practical and

easy

DIYs, mostly affordable. Today I have a compilation video of some of my DIY organizers that I have made in the past, so let's get started. I started with my first DIY. I'll make an acrylic desk organizer using three acrylic napkin rings from Dollar Tree. I'll just use hot glue here, but feel free to use any strong glue like e6000 or super glue. Dollar Tree carries repairs for everything. Also by connecting the three together I have created five compartments so there are three wider portions and where the ends meet I have two narrower compartments in there or I can put my stickers or my mail or my stationery so this one is just a quick and

easy

diy that can easily be expanded by just adding extra acrylic napkin rings so you can paint this with spray paint but I like it to be clear so I can see what I have inside and here it is I placed it next to my organizer planner to Organize my planner stickers and I love it because it is so functional that I can see all the stickers and this is an extra tip for you.

The butter dish they sell at Dollar Tree is the same material and acrylic butter dish that I used to hold for some washi stickers. so I only put the ones that I will use during a certain day of the week or month. I have a large amount of washy, but the ones I will use for that day or week I will put in this butter dish below. using the same acrylic napkin rings and I'm just going to add two of these acrylic butter dishes similar to the one I used for the washi tape. For this one, I'll use the cover or top inside out and then heat up. -I glued the compartment or plate itself and then also added hot glue to the side to connect it to the napkin rings.

I'm doing the same thing with the other butter dish so that it sits on top of the first butter dish, so it will be to level this one, in fact, you can put as much butter as you want depending on how much stuff you want to organize or keep, like this which is perfect, it is a complement to these DIY organizers for your electronic devices. or your charging station, so here I even added blue washi to give it a little bit of design and then I'm using the first one, the one at the bottom, to organize some batteries so they're easier to find and well protected.

With this acrylic butter dish, this charging station can hold different sizes of portable devices. Next, I'm going to create a remote control and another battery organizer because you want to put them all together in case you run out of power or batteries, so I'm. Just using these three gift boxes they sell at Dollar Tree, I hot glued the top of the two boxes to the bottom and then connected the third slightly raised piece. I added a glass votive candle holder to the bottom of one. which I raised for extra support so it's perfect for your TV remote and also your game consoles remote and then the box that covers the third box that has been raised is the one I'm using for the batteries spare.

I put the spare batteries inside a plastic container that I also bought from a Dollar Tree because it is better for storing the batteries because the batteries can spark or be a little dangerous if you put them in something that is easily flammable and with the lid on. On top, it protects it from dust and dirt and also potential spills, which is why this next DIY is one of my favorites and I've been using it since I created it four years ago. The project only cost me three

dollar

s, so this first. tea light candle holder I hot glued its bottom to the bottom corner of this glass cutting board and it now holds the tip or becomes a receptacle for my glue gun.
I am embellishing this glass vase with this sparkly ribbon or ribbon and I also added two strips to embellish the glass cutting board and then hot glued the bottom of the vase to the cutting board. This is now the container for my hot glue sticks. Now for the next DIY, I will create a two tier wire organizer and I will use this: paper towel holders to serve as a support. I'm folding it and since it's a little crooked, I just want to make sure it's even and then I'm going to use this rectangular wire tray or basket.
I have a Dollar Tree, so what I'm doing here is just tying using a twist tie for now as a guide, but later I'll use zip ties or cable ties for a more permanent or stronger hold so you can see I'm just getting making sure they're centered and using my paper towel stance and tying the center slots of these trays and then attaching them to the handle of the paper towel holders and I'm doing that with the other one as well. which will be the top level and as I mentioned above, for a stronger hold, I'm also using zip ties or zip ties to hold them on and then I'll reinforce it with hot glue, especially the one on top, so it doesn't slide down. .
I plan to put some taller items at the bottom, that's why I've separated the two, I gave them enough space here and I'll show you how many items I can put in here and how durable they are, but first let me. I trimmed the ends of the zip ties with my water cutter and those two large bottles fit perfectly. I'm just embellishing the top corner with some ribbons and this is a burlap ribbon that I bought at Dollar Tree just to make it a little more attractive. or pretty, but this is optional, if you don't care about the look of the zip ties, you don't have to close them.
I'm just showing you another option to make it look prettier in case you don't like the look. or those zip ties are bothering you, so I just created a simple bow, tie them in a knot and then I hot glue the center and then I hot glue it to the top of this organizer, as you can see here. I'm using it like this. a mini pantry shelf above our microwave which was on top of our mini fridge so it's perfect for a bedroom. Now the next one here is like an iteration, another iteration of the same type of DIY, but this one is adding more metal wire baskets, so the same as the first one, I'm tying the bottom first to the paper towel holders and then as you can see here, I'm just giving you a closer look because the reason I'm focusing. closer to Lee is so they can see him clearly, especially those visually impaired viewers, so she could see here.
I rolled the zip ties several times, wound them several times and then tightened them and then cut the ends of the zip ties so here I am planning to put a third level so that this is the top one, but in the middle I thought I can add another similar size of basket or rectangular metal tray and so you can see I'm still rolling it several times so it doesn't waste my materials and it also increases the stability if I roll it several times so this will be the third basket so what I'm doing is just push them down or tie them loosely and then I'll raise them to the top and then tighten it there once it reaches the height I needed and do the same with the second or middle tier once it reaches the desired height.
I tighten it and then cut the ends of my zip ties and then reinforce again with hot glue to ensure that especially the top shelves or rips don't slide down. I have enough space for my spices and condiments, so it is a perfect spice rack and can be placed on top of the kitchen

counter

or inside a cabinet. and this one is in the corner of our kitchen

counter

, there's enough room for so much more and here I'm just showing you that it can also hold some of the vegetables that you don't want to put inside the refrigerator, like ginger. root tomatoes and onions, you can even put potatoes, put the heavier ones on the bottom so it's more stable and here I'm just showing you how you can add a couple more wires and this is the medium or smaller size of wire basket so you can put this lined up like this and you can put extra things in there or another idea is to spray paint this mesh pencil holder you can also buy a Dollar Tree spray painting it to match and then attach it to each side though, I have decided to use two smaller wire baskets and then attach them like this to each side and I will use them as organizers for my Caesars and hole punches, so I will just use zip ties again to attach them to smaller metal wire baskets, you and you see here.
I'm still adding hot glue to reinforce my connection and it also does double duty. You know, the sharp edges where you cut the ends of the zip ties are sharp to avoid scratching or hurting yourself. hot glue will protect you from that, so this one now shows us a craft organizer. I even put a peg on top to put my tape in, so it's like a dispenser for the tapes. I put the ends of the ribbons through the slots and look. my different styles or sizes from Caesars on the left side and on the right side these are my hole punches and then I used the middle tier to organize some of my twine and those are also from Dollar Tree and at the bottom like I used to organize or corral my threads, so for the next DIY I am using different metal wire organizers and this is one of my favorites again.
I'm using the cooling racks they sell at Dollar Tree, they come two in a pack for this size. I don't know, they still have the smallest size, but nowadays I think they have the largest size, one for a

dollar

, but for the smallest size they come two for a dollar, so I found these metal wire trays or baskets cold and what I'm doing here. I am going to create three tier metal wire organizers, so one of the baskets I will only use for the bottom of this organizer, so it will not be removable, but on the other two tiers I will place two cooling wires. racks together to make them more stable and I'm just tying it to the center of those two wire racks that are now on the side and then on the top.
I'm also using or doubling my cooling racks and then making sure they sit on top of the feet of those two on the sides and then for the back I used two tall or longer wire racks or the larger ones and then I'm just tying them all together with zip ties if you want the longer ones. version or the slower version of this video, I will link it in the top right corner and also in the description box below. For all the details you see here, I will link all the links to the original video. you can see them in a slower piece like this, all in fast motion, so shoes while I trim the ends of the zip ties, but I'm adding more zip ties to the center to make sure it doesn't slide down. here it is, you're making the final cuts there and this is my 3 cut wire rack or organizer and I'm placing the two trays on top of each rack, the second one and the third or the top one so it's somewhat removable. like a post system for drawers but I also show you here another option that they sell in this size also of those metal baskets or gold metal wire baskets that are square and you know you can use practically any type of organizer like this one that I have a die so just mix, match and use whatever you have so you can use it in your home office and for incoming and outgoing paperwork but this one is multi-use you can use it for anything I think you can. even use this to organize your canned goods, you know, lay them out and then put your canned goods in there like it's a dispenser.
I like how versatile this organizer is and here it is held together with some of my planner stickers. I love it. Now for the next DIY, I am going to create this buffet party cutlery organizer. Now this is a stronger or more durable type of paper towel holder that they sell at Dollar Tree. The first one I used before, the white metal ones. a little thinner or flimsier than this one, this one is actually harder to break, so what I'm doing is connecting it to one that's going to be inverted so it's in support, so I'm just tying both ends with the zip ties to create my support.
I'm just showing you here in slow motion how I tie my zip ties to connect the two paper towel holders. You can also use e6000 or hot glue to reinforce this connection because since it's slippery it means like down that's why you need to hot glue or add glue to reinforce it and then I'll add these metal mesh pencil holders or pen cups that I bought at Dollar Tree, these are the largest glasses and I'm going to place four of these glasses, two on the right and two on the left. I will hot glue the bottom of each glass to the paper towel holder(s), but I will demonstrate it backwards so thatYou can see where I am.
I'm going to put the hot glue on and to be honest this is the easiest way for you to be able to see where we're going to place or apply the glue because that's not a solid background for the paper towel holders so I don't want to put it on too. in the wrong place and here I'm also adding glue to the sides or handles of the paper towel holders on the side of the mesh cup, so now I'm going to repeat that on all the pen cups. Again you can use e6000 or any strong glue for demonstration purposes.
I'm just using hot glue, then I put it right side up and now on top I'm going to hot glue the bottom of this silver metal tray. I also bought a Dollar Tree so this becomes my buffet organizer where I can put the utensils or cutlery in each of the cups, knives, forks, spoons and teaspoons and then on top of it will be where I will place the plates of paper. and between the paper plates I already put some napkins there, so one napkin on top of each paper plate. Here I am using this turntable or lazy susan from Dollar Tree.
I don't think they carry it anymore. I bought a couple of them years ago and unfortunately they haven't come back hopefully one day, but this makes it more functional, you can spin it and it's better with a turntable or a spinner like that. Now this is another iteration, so I'll connect to the paper towel holders again, one will be inverted or upside down, on the right. side up and then I'll attach it to the bottom of one of the pizza pans I have and then I'll use my hot glue again, but feel free to use your e6000 or super glue if you want this to be permanent if you're just setting up Prepare something temporary for a party or meeting.
Hot glue will work. I mean, it has to work for me, so I hope it works for you too, but again, if you want it more stable and you don't want to get too nervous. collapsing on you, so by all means use a stronger setting glue, so here I make sure to reinforce all of these connections so this can also be the bottom, but I've decided that this will be my top and then placing on top the one I decorated with the contact paper also from Dollar Tree another pizza pan so that it is removable so I can also use it as a serving tray if I ever feel like doing that, but in the second I thought it probably would have been more balanced to have that pizza pan wider at the bottom so it doesn't wobble, so I only think about these improvements after I've watched the video or after using the item I created, so here I am.
I'm just going to add a napkin holder, this metal napkin holder goes perfectly with this paper towel holder, so I tied it with some black zip ties, embellished it with ribbons so you can't see the zip ties, and then I'm using the black mesh cups. These are the smallest ones that I showed before, so I'm just going to put two here to be my utensil or cutlery holders for spoons and forks, and if you want to

store

some knives too, you can use a third cup in there, but I only had two cups at the time I was making this so I'm making sure the seams are back so it has a better finish and then I'm tying little zip ties and the zip ties I'm on are also black so you can buy black zip ties for match, but if you don't have black zip ties, you can use the white ones and just paint them or even use those 10 markers of the same color so you know the white zip. the ties turn black ok so I just show you where I'm tying them and then I use another small one to tie the top and reinforce the connections then I'm going to trim the ends again using my dollar for scissors this time so Like I said, a third policer would have been perfect, but now I only have two policers, one for the spoon and one for the forks, and here the top pizza tray is removable.
I put paper plates back in there and a turntable or turntable would be perfect. For the bottom now in the next DIY, this is a two-tier double shower caddy organizer. I'm using these gray rectangular die-cut baskets or trays from Dollar Tree. I'm also using the shower caddies they sell at Dollar Tree lately I haven't seen the shower caddies online or in some

store

s they still sell them in the bigger stores but if you don't have the caddies you don't have to buy them you could probably use paper towel holders. of the shower caddies here I am marking the points where I am going to cut the notches so that they sit or connect flush with the shower caddy.
I'm just using scissors to cut the notch and I'm just using the dollar. Tree shears, so I just cut the notch here. I didn't even completely remove or cut that edge because it will add another layer of protection and then here I inserted the flange through those holes, the slots or holes in the side of the basket. that's where I'm inserting the zip ties so I can connect them to the shower caddies, so I put a couple of zip ties, one on each end at the bottom, and then I connect them to the bottom of my shower caddy, especially that area thence. where the bottom legs are and then I'm adding more flanges to connect the other parts of the shower caddy so it sits straight so feel free to pick any areas there that can line up or that will line up with your shower caddies so this it's something I'm looking at where these zip ties are going to go so here again I'm repeating the same or the same steps to the other side and then I tie them together with zip ties and for the second one I'm using the top of the shower caddy cable and that's where I attach the zip ties and then I go through the holes again in this die cut tray or baskets from Dollar Tree, so again, this is one of my favorites, I mean.
It's probably easier for you to watch this since I'm doing it instead of me narrating it, and of course if you want to watch it at a slower pace, check out the original videos which I'll link in the description box below, so , what are you going to do? What I do is remember the DIY number for each section and then simply click on the link to the video or the original video for that DIY. After I tie all my connections, I'm going to go ahead and add a handle, so for the handle I'm using the handle from the plunger, a toilet plunger that I bought at Dollar Tree.
I cut the handle off and then painted it white and then trimmed it to size. It's actually too long so I trimmed the one with some ridges that connect to the plunger and then here I'm tying it with zip ties to keep it in place and then to camouflage the zip ties I added a rope or in this case it's a rope of mop that I had left over from one of my previous projects so this way it camouflages itself and also reinforces the connection and here it is propped up again like a buffet cart. You know it's perfect for outdoor barbecues or a picnic.
You can take it with you so there's a place where you can put the things that you're going to need in your plastic cups and paper plates and just use what you have, you know, I'm using all the other die cut organizers, this one is actually something like that, I think it's like a book organizer or a magazine organizer and on the side here I'm using the skinny baskets I called them skinny baskets because they're skinny they come three in a pack from Dollar Tree and they also come in different colors so I chose the white one and this is where I placed some condiment sachets, as well as condiments and If you are using this at your hot beverage station, you can probably use it to hold your sugar packets.
The possibilities are endless for this stroller and I really like it a lot. Now for this next DIY, I'm creating a hot k-cup. drink organizer again using two paper towel holders that I connected to create one holder like I did with the other two above. I'm adding two medium white metal baskets and tying them to each side of the paper towel. stand like this and then I'm just tightening the zip ties and then trimming it and then for the top I'm connecting two of the medium sized wire baskets and then I'm going to place them on top of this stand like this and then I'll add more zip ties to attach it to the bottom or top of this paper towel holder and that will be my top tier where I can place my K Cups so feel free to add more zippers. ties and also reinforce again with hot glue here it is with my Lazy Susan from Dollar Tree and here it is propped up as a hot drink station organizer, the bottom I have the tea bags and also the instant coffee bags as well as my sugar and here I used the shower curtain rings that they sell at Dollar Tree to hang my ceramic mugs and then on top I organized the K cups so you can put a different flavor on each one and here I show them again in close up.
Note some brown steers. I also bought them at Dollar Tree and put them in one of the votive candle holders that they also sell at Dollar Tree, so these steers come in a pack of 250, so these two glass votive candle holders are perfect for this. and I like that they also have the nautical theme and the blue color that I really like and here are some creams in bags and some tea bags. I love this, it can hold so many things and doesn't take up so much space. Now this next DIY is my most viewed DIY at the moment as at the time of this filming or recording it has 1.6 million views and I would like to thank everyone for supporting me and sharing this video multiple times.
I'm making an under

sink

organizer so I used it for metal paper towel holders and I'm using this cute basket, it almost looks like a woven basket but of course it's a plastic basket that they sell at Dollar Tree so they come . in different sizes too so I chose the medium one so it has some depth instead of the shallower wider bottom rectangular ones and this is perfect because under our kitchen

sink

there is a small amount of space so that's why I chose this size. I connected again using zip ties and then added some hot glue to reinforce the connection, as you can see.
I tried putting the nuts on the inside and then I'm using hot glue to make sure those sharp edges are covered so I can do that. It won't scratch, but reinforcing again with hot glue makes the connection stronger and more stable, so you can use colored cable ties to match them. They sell them in different stores right now, but I'm only using white ones and I don't mind because it will be covered by another basket on the side and I'll show it to you in a moment. Okay now for the second tier, the top tier I'm just inserting it through the handle, kind of like what I did with the first basket or the bottom one and then I just loosely put the zip ties on and then slide them up and then added more ties to the top edge to make the hold stronger that way so the way I tied it and then added more glue to reinforce my connection and here I'm going to add two more baskets of the same style and color but different size , so this one is a little bit deeper but narrower so I just tie it to one side and then this is where I can put some more items that I have for under the sink, as you can see I'm using two ties on each side to make the connection stronger and then I hot glue again and here is the finished project.
I actually love this teal color and I'm Here's how you can dress it up if you want to use it as a craft organizer and it will be displayed on your counter or desk. You can add those flowers to the top edge to camouflage those zip ties, but here under the sink, which I'm still using at the time of this edit I have those cleaners, as well as my dishwasher items, my dishwashing liquids as well and in the next DIY , another one of my favorites that I still use, a lot of people ask me if I use my DIY items, of course I do. eat them and

ideas

come up because I have a dilemma to solve so these are solutions to my problems so I come up with these

ideas

again using a combination of baskets and also a couple of metal paper towel holders so I'm going to Al create the two-tier craft organizer, it is also very versatile and multi-purpose, so you can use it for anything.
I'm also using these skinny baskets that come two in a pack and I found a blue one that I can use for the sides that I'm using they also showed the solution of everything they sell at Dollar Tree and then hot glue of course to reinforce my connection. Similarly, I'm putting the basket in the center and I'm using the paper towel holders as a support or support and here I'm just going to use it so that the narrowest part is in the front, okay, not on the side and I'm just cutting a few notches here. The good thing about this plastic trail or baskets are easy. to cut and just use simple scissors here to cut andthen I have a notch that is the same width as the handle of the paper towel holder so it can be inserted and fits flush and then tied with a zipper.
It's tied again and here at the top I'm doing a different technique. I didn't cut the notches but I let the top sit on the edge of the basket so it would sit on top of each of the metal paper towel holders, you know. handles and then attached them with zip ties, if you want to spend a couple dollars more it's probably like this: paper towel holders on each side so it's not like a seesaw, but I was able to avoid the rocking because I put the lighter ones on the back top and then the heavier ones on the bottom, you know as far as organizing my items, but if you are going to put something heavy on the top, I suggest you use two more paper towel holders, here I am adding to the sides. those thin baskets so I can use them to organize more things and I also hot glue the connections and again double purpose making sure those sharp edges are also covered with hot glue so I don't scratch myself and I don't hurt myself.
Myself while using this organizer because those sharp edges, I mean, they are very sharp, they can be cut and I have been cut several times in the past, so I thought of using this hot glue and here I have set it up as a Craft Station where I have my acrylic or craft paints as well as a dispenser for my tapes in the front and I take advantage of the slots so I can thread the tapes through so they stay in place and I use some thinner ones. baskets to corral each section on top to make it look more organized instead of throwing away all the paints.
Those smaller baskets make them look more organized and neat and of course the side once I put some of my brushes in. Some of my tools again for crafting and at the bottom I also put more dividers, they are like those plastic organizers to hold things and the smaller ribbons at the bottom I put in one of the thin baskets and then use the slots again . so the slot openings so those ribs stay in place as I use each one don't go to the other side so I love it so much now this is not a DIY it's more like a hack so I've seen Dollar Tree sells these items, these containers, these huge containers.
I love them so much because they can hold so many things so they are supposed to be stacked on top of each other if you can see there is a lip on the inside lip and then if you turn this other basket to the side it can sit on top without However, it is not perfect. sometimes it goes off or slides so to prevent that the trick I thought of is to put two of the popsicle sticks, the big ones they sell at Dollar Tree, you can also get the Jumbo ones at Walmart because they are cheaper and then you can just stick them together with hot glue on that edge and then it will give you a wider platform so you can stack those containers.
You can also use ladders, paint ladders, you know, paint sticks and they're even more durable and bigger, but of course, they don't sell them at Dollar Tree, they sell these popsicle sticks there. Now I'm using not only hot glue but also a6000 because this is plastic and hot wood glue doesn't stay there okay? It will probably stay for only a few minutes but it will come off or peel off easily so I suggest using e6000 or fix-all or any super glue that has a stronger hold so let's do it on both sides and then we'll try it again to attach the other basket , see if it's going to fit perfectly and see that space or space there, that's the reason why when you know you hit it it's going to fall, that's why you need to put something in there and it works better stacked like this.
Yes, that's an easy trick for you in case you have these baskets and want to stack them on top of each other. For the next DIY, I am using this shelf riser and will create a stackable canned goods organizer. something like a dispenser. I've included this in my pantry

organization

and I'll link it in the top right corner, so what I did here was place one bottom up and then also on the back or upside down and then I tied the legs together with zip ties. You see me using a buckled bridle here because again I am also serving the visually impaired.
Now you can use this by stacking one on top of the other, but I've demonstrated it. next to each other in our pantry so here it is in our pantry, so if I'm going to use it stacked, I can just put two of those plastic can dispenser organizers that they sell at Dollar Tree, but if I put them next to each other - side I can use four so I prefer to put them or place them next to each other and I'm putting this plastic can holder or dispenser organizer from Dollar Tree so I put one on top of each of the shelves so I have a toll: on the top and two on the bottom, a total of four and this is what the canned goods look like, so every time I remove the one in the front, it rolls to the front, the rest of the cans roll towards the front, so this is a great way to organize your canned goods.
Next, I'll use this cabinet shelf. I need this and have seen me use it in my pantry

organization

and will use this similar type of thing. a riser to create the shelf and I'm going to need three of these acrylic trays, so what I'm going to do is I'm going to apply a generous amount of glue on each one under each of these rubber feet for this other one, the one that I'm going to put on top. I suggest you just put glue on the sections that will touch the wires, so I'll put glue here here and also on those sections here to make sure they line up, so using only opaque sections and just trying to center them, I make sure that it's level and then I apply more glue under the actual trays, making sure to apply glue where it connects to the wires, then I put in the second shelf of the cabinet, aka the shelf. riser on the top of the acrylic tray that I just glued to the other shelf riser and this time I'm trying to readjust the legs because I want to make sure they fit perfectly and then apply hot glue again to the bottom of each one. from the foot of the second shelf and then I'm going to hot glue the other acrylic tray again the same way I hot glued the second acrylic tray, which is now my second tier or my middle tier, so I like that this is expandable , you can add more shelf ledges and an acrylic tray depending on how high you want it to be here is the finished project.
I like it a lot it's so durable it doesn't wobble and look I can even put tall cans on the top and then these are the heavy cans as well as the medium sized cans and then in the middle on the lower levels I can put the cans normal size and on the bottom I set smaller cans and stack them so I can take advantage of the height. I still have more room there for some thinner cans, so the possibilities are endless, you can use this as a spice rack. In fact, I have used it as my spice rack and it is still being used as such inside our closet for this upcoming DIY.
I'm going to be creating a makeover or revamping that buffet organizer that I created earlier in the first version and I'm going to use it as a craft organizer, so I'm just going to add some things on top of this silver tray and I'm going to use these silver finish napkin rings and just I'm going to place them or hot glue them on top of this silver round tray that I bought at Dollar Tree so I'm going to put them in place to make sure they fit I think I used two bags if I'm not mistaken of these silver napkin rings because I think they come with six in a package if I'm not mistaken and I think I used 12 here twelve pieces and I'm putting some on the edges and then some in the middle so I can use them to hold my acrylic paint or my craft paint but I think you can also use this for your nail polishes if you want to use it as a makeup organizer so I'm just going to use hot glue just gluing the edges to the bottom of each of these napkin rings and then laying them out like this and then I still have these lazy susans.
I decided to cover them with a contact paper that I bought a dollar tree like well I'm just measuring it to size and then I cover it you you you you and here is the finished project and I really like it a lot again you can use it as a makeup organizer or In my case I use it as a craft organizer. So I hope to inspire you to do the same. If you use one for another purpose and don't use it that often, like in my case, I didn't need to host many parties, so I have decided that I will just use the buffet organizer as a craft organizer, that way I didn't waste my time even the materials, so I always do it.
Now I reuse the things for the next DIY I'm going to create these two. Two-tier acrylic organizer. I'm going to use this again to organize my craft supplies. I'm using an acrylic tray that has three compartments and is sold at Dollar Tree in the party section so it fits better. I removed the four rubber feet from the shelf. elevator, so here you can see me bend the legs inward to make it fit inside because there's a notch there and I just want to make sure it's straight when I put it in there, so again I'm going to use my hand. great glue gun and like I'm telling myself again you can definitely use any strong glue you have and the most popular would be super glue or a 6000 and again Dollar Tree sells solutions for everything if you want to save some money and they work.
Great too, so I'm just hot gluing the bottom legs, the bottom of the legs to the acrylic trays and then I'm just going to hot glue this one here, just applying the hot glue to each of those wires or dividers and then here. It's just that I am using this as an organizer for my stamping blocks as well as my ink pads, stamp ink pads and this is perfect and I am still using it as is, sew them together, the two together make a perfect combination for a craft room. so they are very versatile and look great, they complement each other for my next DIY.
I'm going to create this two tier white wire double shower caddy and I'm using this medium size metal basket or metal wire basket and I'm using some colored zip ties so you can see the contrast and I have this a6000 as well as hot glue to reinforce my connection so I'll just show you how this one would work similar to the other shower. cart organizer that I created earlier in the part of this video, so instead of those white trays I'm just going to use pure white wire baskets and it looks like they come as a single unit because they are all made of white metal. wire, but I all have a Dollar Tree and using zip ties in this color is really helpful and I've gotten some comments that they really like the fact that I'm doing that so you can see because my backdrop, as you can see here, has a lot of lines, a lot of white lines and of course with the wire baskets that have a lot of white wires in there it's hard to know where I put the zip ties and that's the reason I chose a different color of zip ties instead of using the white. so you can see it and also again as I mentioned I would like to also cater for those visually impaired viewers and please several flanges on each side to connect the bottom to the bottom of the shower caddies and then again I'm putting a basket further on top and make sure it is perpendicular to the lines of the shower caddy.
I like that this is a perfect basket size that fits the shower caddy and I am fitting a slim basket. at the bottom with some ribbons to serve as an organizer and then at the top I created using I think those are the tubes and the paper towel or toilet paper tubes I covered them with contact paper so I could put my scissors. or pens and anything you can organize in there so this is again another craft organizer and I know a lot of you are crafters and that's why you subscribe because you've seen some of my craft organizers but you definitely use this for others purposes.
It doesn't have to be just for crafters, you can use it for your home office to corral your office supplies, under the sink too. It fits any narrow or small area of your cabinet within your cabinet, whether under the kitchen or bathroom sink, but as a craft organizer it is also very versatile and for this next DIY I like that I was able to create a display case using photo frames from Dollar Tree and I use a total of seven photo frames. These are the art frames here and they already have the gold finished frames so I didn't really have to paint anything here but feel free to use any frame finish you want.
I removed the backing and also removed all these metal fasteners that hold the glass in so they can't be seen. because if I leave them thereThey will appear but to keep the glass in place I use hot glue and also e6000 for a stronger hold. What I'm doing here is connecting two frames, one on top of the other, you know. -backless so two pairs in a row and I'll wear them as my side and the reason I do that is to give it a little bit more sophisticated look and you know. In my opinion it's also a more durable setup to have them folded, so this will be my side and I'm only using a single frame on the bottom, so again the folded ones will be my sides, one on the left and one on the left. on the right like this and then I'm going to hot glue the edges of the frames that connect, so in this part here, the ones that I've duplicated, I'm just applying a 6000 and hot glue to the bottom frame and then connecting I place it on the bottom of the one that's flat here on the counter and then I'm using something on the side to hold it up so it can stay in place and then another heavier one to hold it in place while the glue dries. so I just want to make sure it's straight, so use whatever you have, so in this case I used my entire stash, the ones that I can put on top of the glass and on the back, and then I'm repeating the same thing.
I go to the other side of the frame like this and then I'll also use another single frame. I'm just trying to be careful not to dislodge those frames after I connect them, but I just want to make sure that I can insert it here, so this is going to be my middle shelf and as you can see, I'm using this roll of burlap ribbon and leaving it there and that's what's going to hold it while I glue it in place. With my 6000, the tricky part for this middle shelf is that I can only connect the corners because there's glass there and there's a gap, so I just want to make sure I reinforce it with Maurey 6000 on those corners that I connected and the roll.
The burlap it's on is still there until it dries completely and then I'm going to apply glue to the sides of my top tier. This is the third shelf so I'm applying a generous amount of e6000 and a little bit of hot glue because it's hot. the glue dries fast and then of course the e6000 has a longer lasting hold or stronger support and this is what it looks like of course there are some glues that appear in this space so I have decided to use my gold mesh , you already know. Glamorous ribbons that are also sold at Dollar Tree and I embellish them so that those spaces where the glue comes out or maybe shows through are covered or camouflaged with these gems or something like shiny gems or jewels, so to speak, for this guy of furniture that look like glass displays so I'm cutting smaller strips here to fill in the gaps and give it a finished look and then I cleaned the shelves or the glass and then added my display items so some of these items came from Dollar Tree as well as this lab sign and this Eiffel Tower, it's actually a Walmart ornament and of course some beads now on to the next DIY and creating a two tier metal rack organizer so This one I'm actually using the smaller ones again. also in a package, those cooling racks now again, you could probably use just a big one that they sell at Dollar Tree now.
I have used the label here as a guide to connect or expand the two and then plug them in and again this was before they started selling the longer one, this DIY was created during the time they didn't sell the longer or larger cooling racks. If you are going to use the single long one, I suggest using a double layer or double them to get a stronger shelf, so I connected two pairs to create my shelves and then I will connect or build the sides as well using a single shelf and placing it on top of this notch or what I call the feet because when you put it on top of the counter to cool your cookies, food or baked goods, that's what's on top of the counter so I call them legs or feet and that's where I connect or intersect my racks of cooling that I connected to this. another cooling rack making sure the edge is connected to the feet so it doesn't slide down, it's a kind of protection or reinforcement so the connection doesn't slide down, of course using hot glue and a6000 will reinforce the connection , but it's nice to have that as reinforcement too, which is built into the wire racks, so I'm just repeating on the other side the same steps that I did on the other, just adding more zip ties if you notice I wasn't duplicating.
Pick it up or roll it up a few times because it won't look good if it's too bulky, so I just want to keep it as clean as possible, but do whatever you want if you want to roll them up a few times to make sure you don't also waste your zip ties or the materials you have on it, so So now I'm connecting the top shelf the same way I create the bottom one. Here I am attaching smaller cooling wire grids so that this acts as my backdrop or backing of course. Now that they're sold longer and bigger, you'll probably only need to use one and I'm positioning it this way to make it easier for me to connect the back to the shelves that I created or built and I'm just going to use more. zip ties to make sure they are securely connected and this is what will keep them in place so they don't wobble the more zip ties the better.
Many people here call me the zip tie queen because I love wearing zip ties. zip ties so I'm okay with that as long as it helps when building it makes it easier with zip ties or if you want to use those wires you know how many gauges of wires and probably there would go best with this. wire cooling racks, feel free to use them, but I'm just using the simplest method possible and if you want to spray paint this too so those white zip ties don't show up, feel free to do that, but I'll show you once I put other ones up items on top of those shelves, those flanges won't show up because I'm going to use the foam board and add covers to make sure they don't show and speaking of foam boards, the foam here. boards these are the measurements covering them with contact paper I also bought a Dollar Tree the same one I used to decorate the Lazy Susan before so I measure this enough to fit inside and here I am putting some organizers these ones I bought at Daiso cost a dollar fifty each this also the tray that you will see or the container above but this is from Dollar Tree the one with the lid that I showed briefly there and of course these are the combinations of baskets or trays that I bought at Daiso and here is another DIY using paper towel holders.
Yes, I love using shower caddies and paper towel holders to create my organizers. They are perfect, as you know, as a stand or holder, so here I am tying together two separate metal paper towel holders. the sides of the top sides of these gold wire baskets these are the deepest ones these are the square ones I also bought a Dollar Tree and they are also available online. I bought them and they still offered a minimum of four pieces per unit. of the order and then you know, I don't know if they still do the same thing right now, but just keep an eye out, but you can also find them at some of the larger Dollar Tree stores, so it's a similar method.
I just used a different type of basket, but here I'm going to use a different item on each side, so I'm not going to use another basket or even a metal cup or the mesh cup that I'm going to use. other elements to organize other things on the side but first I am cutting out the zip ties and then hot gluing them to reinforce the connection and these are the two elements I was talking about, they are a good combination because they are all made of metal I like the combination or the dual tone the silver and the gold the gold of the baskets and the silver of the paper towel holders as well as the napkin rings these are the napkin rings and again using my zip ties to connect them to this structure that I already finished creating and I can use this to organize many things, whether it be my craft items, another idea, etc., many solutions for crafters, but this one can also be used to organize other things and I am going to demonstrate it.
I also use this to organize some makeup in addition to craft supplies, but first, if those zip ties bother you, do what I've done here. I'm also using this glitter tape and embellishing or camouflaging those zip ties on top and even some. portions at the bottom, but once you put the items in, you can barely notice those ties anyway and that's how it looks used as an organizer for makeup. I use that acrylic lipstick, I think the Dollar Tree stand organizer and then I'm using this gray plastic. pen holder as a brush holder the corral the brushes and on the side I am using the napkin holders to organize the makeup palettes and these are actually my daughter's makeup collection she has a little more but she has ordered something like this so that it will be a little more organized on top of her dresser and here I use it as an organizer for my painting or craft supplies.
I even have a place for my spare hot glue gun so it's perfect for a small or tight space if you have limited craft supplies too, this is a perfect organizer for you now, next time I'm using three metal baskets of gold wire, a large one that is shallower and then the two square ones that I use similar to the ones I used above and I am simply going to connect the three to create a freestanding double or two tier basket organizer that can also be hung on the wall , so this is another quick and easy item to use in this DIY, that doesn't require too many items. one of my favorites, actually my husband's favorite, he uses this in his kitchen because he is the chef of the house, he uses it to organize or store some of our lemons or even potatoes, limes, as well as onions and roots of ginger or even garlic. that doesn't go inside the refrigerator, so I'm using a black zip tie here, it's very durable, it's the big one they sell.
I think I bought this at the store that's only 99 cents, but they also sell black zip ties at Dollar Tree, but feel free to use whatever color zip ties you have because if you put it on the back like this, you fill it up and you can barely see, actually those ties are invisible once you fill them with fruits and vegetables, like I said Before this can stand alone like this, you can place it in the corner of your kitchen counter or you can hang it on the wall, so here I've propped it up in our bathroom to hold face and hand towels, looks like a farmhouse right?
I didn't have to paint anything because it's already painted, it's a gold metal wire and I'll also show you that it's freestanding and can hold some weight. Here it is with some potatoes on the bottom and some lemons from my mother. -law and then hanging on our pantry door and I'm just using a 3m command hook and now for my next DIY, another one of my favorites and I know a lot of you have commented and are really amazed by this DIY. my paper tray hat here I connected two paper trays together, one right side up and one upside down and this is where I connected them with two zip ties.
There are holes there where I place the zip ties and you can also use the pre-cut holes to connect. them and then I've created a sort of drawer system using this and also a matching basket of the same color and design and this is what I came up with using this basket that I can insert inside and then just pull it out. like a drawer like this, yes I know some of you were surprised by this DIY and I know many of you have too, if you have make sure to tag me when you post on Instagram or any social media, even Facebook, me too.
I have used another similar basket on top to corral or hold more items like my paint, so I suggest that if you paint a lot, use a lot of paints that are similar, then this is probably the best one for you as they will be within reach of hand and then if you have something hidden somewhere just replace the ones that you commonly or usually use and I will also show you how it works perfectly under the sink so again it's perfect because under the sink there are some pipes and the space is too much reduced, so this is perfect and for the next DIY I will just show some iterations or tips on how to use it.
I used it as a shoe rack and then also demonstrated how it can be doubled. Raise them to create two floors, expand them. Hi, someone asked if you can do that. You can safely join two together with zip ties and reinforce them with glue and then you can have a double drawer organizer and I didn't connect it. with a flange here because I made it with the intention of a two-story. I'm just trying to show because I was asked some questions in the comments section of that other DIY, so I just wanted to make sure I also show that it's possible. to do and then you can put another loose basket on top or you can create another pool box system and again stack a bowl, stack them high.
I'm also showing here that you can mix and match, so you'll probably just use this tray andstack them together. or just use a single tray and put one on top and then put the drawer system on top like this and then put a container or basket that is loose on top so use the bottom for papers or cards or maybe place this tray. which you can also get a Dollar Tree to corral some of the items to make it expandable and here are some more ways or styles to use it and for the last DIY in this series I have also shown it in one of the collections of all.
The organization and tricks that I did recently I repeat here because I think it is something you should not miss because it is another versatile organizer where I use this shelf riser, also known as a cabinet shelf, connected together with the right side facing up. one upside down and then I connected them to a couple of shower caddies, so instead of the metal wire trays or baskets I am using the shelf ones because they are more durable and I have used them under our sink. I'm just showing that you can use that white wire metal tray longer, wider or larger, place it as simply as possible without the shower caddies so you can use this as a drawer system again, maybe under the sink, but so that it is higher. caddy I decided to use two shower caddies, one on each side, and then just tie them together like you do and here I am connecting the other shower caddy to the other side and this is what it looks like connected here.
I'm going to use some vowels, you can also cut the handle off of a plunger or plunger that they sell at Dollar Tree, but you can also plug in or use these pegs that they sell at Walmart, they come in different sizes since I'll be using this. For thinner dowels I bent them but then also adjusted the shower caddy handle to fit and then used some zip ties to hold them in place like this, then I just cut the excess zip ties off again and here is the finished project. You can use it as is or use some baskets to store your things, so choose any basket that fits inside.
At Dollar Tree they sell different styles and colors. I like that this can be taken anywhere and you can use the sides to store other things. Again, like I said, it's perfect for under-sink organization, as seen here in this photo, so that's it. Thank you all for watching and I hope you enjoyed this build. Let me know what you think in the comments section below. I hope everyone is. having a great day and I'll talk to you again in my next video take care everyone, God bless you, bye.
