You Won't Believe Why This Engine Blew Up,

burn, it would be the furthest from the oil, not the closest oil, it was actually the first thing fed on the way and that would have the most oil, whereas you know you would have thought that would have been a problem here more than in What actually happens is that the connecting rod has the most energy because it goes through a compression stroke and pushes with great force. on one side and then when it turns on the other side, it shoots energy and the energy pushes that crank against that surface very hard. We'll pretend

this

is the connecting rod, it's the other half, but we'll pretend

this

is the connecting rod. well, when the piston fires, it pushes very hard against there, these things are just floating, they're just trying to eliminate the harmonics, they're not really trying to do a uh, you know, there's some real work going on, they're just there to counteract the movement.

Some of the vibration went away, so I guess it passed. I think just that long bowl with all that play probably looks better here, the diameter of that hole and the diameter of that bolt just have too much play there and I can see over it. time you just shake this up a little bit, you can even see the bolt, what's left of the bolt, how polished it is, so it did that for a while and then it looks like it just broke, you know, you keep working to make the head of a bolt back and forth, eventually it will break, there's the top part, so look how it broke, now the bolt itself, you know, it seems to fit there pretty well, but that top part is probably so far down on the inside and in my opinion, I think it worked back and forth to the point where it just loosened that nut, got a little loose and then broke again from there, that's just a guess on my part. welcome to make your own input you'll want to see how the governor works if I can explain it somehow so the governor which is what's left of it has a gear coming out of that gear I probably think it was at the top and so it spins faster it spins the gear, it has a set of weights and these guys here are essentially a set of weights.

More Interesting Facts About,

you won t believe why this engine blew up...

I know they're all burgerd and pounded so it'll be a little hard to tell, but these are a set. of weights I don't know something like that we'll go with there's a gear at the bottom those are at the top and this is in the middle so the faster this gear spins or the motor spins push this pin up this pin , in turn, pushes a lever that sticks across the block, grabs the light, which is that lever over there, so the whole thing was sitting here, so, as it accelerates, it pushes up this lever, when you push up on that lever, you I can see that the linkage goes down here that it's idle that when this goes in this direction it's idle it's full throttle so when you push up on that lever where is it there? accelerates fully at idle, counteracts movement to try to maintain rpm. trying to maintain let's say you have full throttle 3 600 rpm is what these

engine

s run at 36 38 the throttle on the dash how you throttle it comes to this plate right here this is the throttle that goes in turn just pull in a spring, so it can still move, but you can influence it by how much you pull on the spring to give it more or less intake flow, so here you want to go full throttle, you're going to pull very hard if you just want to idle it, back off and as soon as that thing speeds up a little bit it just goes back to an idol unless it comes back so that's what it does, yeah I don't see anything that gives me any information.

Another indication of what would happen, I don't think it's oil cranking, that doesn't seem to be the case, so it's dirty, it was a little low, but I don't really see that being the problem, you'd see a bad dipstick if that were the case. It was if it was oil starting, even as time goes on, they take knocks and knocks. I just don't see anything as far as the tractor goes, I think it's probably a five or six hundred dollar tractor total and putting a new

engine

on it really isn't worth it if you want to sell it you're not going to make any money but what I'll do is probably keep an eye out. to a used engine and try to find one. the tractor maybe had a blown engine which is a bit quiet a gearbox with hydrostatic transmission a common thing to fail and we can take another engine from something else you can use any engine you don't have to use the same one as in this tractor, these chassis are somewhat universal.

You look at the floor of the platform and you can see all the different holes they have. You can bolt on virtually any engine. You can even put a twin av in it if you want. This chassis is nice. of setup, you know, pretty much all the only things you want to keep an eye on is that the crank is the same at the bottom so that the pulley can fit under there and some of the loading system that you want to test. find when you have a three wire voltage regulator, which is the one on the side, what that stator that we removed on the top does generates power and it has AC, it has two AC legs that go down here and they go for a side. and on the other side and then coming out of the middle comes a cable that is DC that is going to recharge the battery, as long as you find something really simple for that and again with the exhaust it kind of hides almost in the same area that you get like a old craft lawnmower or something, we could probably steal the motor from it, so that's what I'll do with it.
I'll hang in there and see what I can find for a motor that comes along with the rest. It looks very decent, the tires seem to be holding up, they are not rotted, the seats are not broken. I guess the transmission is fine. The bagging system seems decent, so that will be the result. I guess you'll get this quickly. mustache until I find something else and it's that time of year anyway when all these things start showing up so we'll see what we have, I might even have one now I'm not even aware of all of them guys with that was . a little wordy but I appreciate you being with me, I hope it helps you understand a little how things work and have a little fun, a little ripping in the garage and I'm sure more.
It will be on its way again, it's that time of year, but with that guys I want to say goodbye and thank you all for hanging out with me, have a little fun, if you like, leave a comment below what you think, what possibly happened again. That's just a guess on my part and you know yours might be as good as mine so with that I'll see you later, bye well the cam gears got crushed too, probably just rubble when lifted up , they went in there and took them out. and the governor is burned, he has a gear, one of the gears broke badly.
We're going to try hitting it with a file to see if we can fix it enough to get it working or just make sure it's clean and deliver it.
