So this is the

fastest

rc car in the world, but we're going to try to beat it with this, so this guy's strategy was years of design and development. My strategy is to give it

more

power

. We have two huge motors, two huge speed controllers and 24 cells. of lipo

power

so I started this build last year and you guys have been bugging me for the last few months saying kev when is the fast car coming out again, when are you going to finish it off right. a couple of reasons why I haven't, it's reason number one.

I've been waiting for liposomes and they just showed up. Reason number two is winter here in the UK, the roads are wet, the roads are bad, so we really have to wait until the weather improves. before we can run it properly, we have some aerodynamic improvements, we have

power, better tires, so in this video we have to put all of this in there and then we'll take it out for a quick test drive as well. From the burnt parts we have high strength titanium driveshafts and titanium support balls because with all that power we need a bulletproof transmission and then we're going to go out and give it its first run just to make sure everything works, but We're not actually going to attempt the record yet, we're going to wait until the weather improves.

Oh, you're right, oh no, we killed Martin's phone, so to try to break the world record. things are going to go wrong there's an incredible amount of horsepower in there I have no idea about aerodynamics it's going to crash guys and this isn't cheap it's about four thousand dollars in this car just the esc's are eleven hundred dollars each and there are two of them, so yeah, I really don't want to crash.

It's coming too. I have a new speed here. This one here is not for the world record. This one here maybe does 150 to 170 miles per hour. We're going to base it on an unlimited, we have a corvette body, we're going to paint it this color here, power high definition servo, some of our changes gain perfect carbon fiber parts, some customize power upgrades, but I'm not entirely sure we'll probably use a motor of this size. We could use an xlx2. I don't know yet, but I want to use this car so I can drive it, swerve it, smoke the tires, and do some fast racing.

Yeah, you like what's going on here, so these motors here are 3200 kv, which is how many rpm it makes per volt. There are a lot of volts going in here which means a lot of rpm and on paper this car with 24s lipo will run. 600 miles per hour and obviously guys it's never going to get close to that speed and it's going to be too fast so we're going to go down to about half the kv going at half the rpm that's still on paper. Go 300 miles per hour, but it will give you double the torque, which will actually give us more top speed when you reach high speeds.
The main thing holding this car back is aerodynamics, so you need more, you need more torque to push. through the wind and these motors will have double the torque if you're running an motor on a normal motor mount you can change the gear with different size gears and pinions and stuff but in this car we're running straight into driving we have one motor that goes directly to the front differential and another motor goes directly to the rear differential, so we can't really change the gear. We can change the differential ratio slightly, but we don't really have much to play with.
The only way we can really change the gear is to change the kv to motors, which is a pain because every time you want to change the gear you have to buy new motors and in the case of this build it is two each time. and then we have to find a way to mount these batteries so that these particular lipos here are 650 milliamp hour 130c 260c 8 gauge wires and qs8 connectors guys these are overheated here's an xt90 just for comparison so let's get three of these on this side, oh and look at that that fits perfectly there, so we have three on this side, another three on this side while we're at it, I want to say a big thank you to Power Hobby for sending me.
These and guys there will be a link below where we can get this from and there will also be a link below for everything else that you see on this car like the ESC, the motors, the car itself and all the upgrades there will be a link. to all that stuff below, oh my god guys that's loaded with all that weight there look at it it's rubbing the floor oh my god that weighs a ton you're probably going to have to get some stiffer springs that's definitely enough . plug these motors in, put the wing in there, put the rest in there, the batteries and then we can take it out and give it its first run, so right as we take these motors out, this is the size of the motor. which normally goes in this type of car and this size of engine can make a car go over a hundred miles per hour.
Check the motor that goes there is much larger and we have two of them, but look at this, but look at this motor here. Look guys, that's even bigger and I think we could fit two of these in there, we'll have to separate the ESCs a little, we have to do something special with the drive cups because these shafts here are much bigger, but if these motors don't They have enough power, so we can go for two of these guys. This thing will have so much horsepower that we won't know what to do with it next.
We have to create a mount for this living capsule. I think the easiest way will be to just use some velcro and then maybe just get a strap and somehow loop it over the top arm and the body still goes perfectly over everything. Look at it, so I put some Velcro on it. These connectors also just to hold them down because otherwise all these wires shake around and make it difficult to assemble the body, so next let's put this batwing daredevil friend in there, so next, because of the way I mount the body. We have a body post here on the ring holder, so we need to drill a hole there next.
We are going to fit these gorgeous driveshafts and pillow balls to be thicker than the originals and made of titanium. We're almost ready to start. I've got to plug it in, I've got to calibrate the ESCs, we've got to make sure everything works and then we'll take it out and give it its first push, so initially I'll just run it. With these hoon tires, they're probably good for about 140 miles per hour, something like that. I just want to run it first, make sure it works, get close to those kind of speeds and then once we push them to their limits, we're going to put foam tires on foam tires don't last long so we don't have that luxury. of ruining a bunch of tires just by testing them, so we're going to start with the rubber tires, so that's Shiffrin, she already has armor. at over 170 miles per hour with his fin and these foam tires, so I'm going to put a link under Razzy's channel.

I've never used it before so I have to figure it out, but luckily mgm has made some videos showing exactly how to set it up so I won't bother filming the whole process. Basically, you have to connect the ESC to the car, calibrate the end points.
Some setup and stuff put the wheels on and then we should be ready to go and for now, while I'm setting it up, I'm going to put these little jumper cables in here and we'll just set it up. with a battery, so first of all we need to calibrate the end stops so that's the first one, calibrated good again on that arm, the front one works now, it sounds a little harsh, but I'm not really sure why we do it. We'll have to investigate later that it's actually going in the wrong direction, so we'll have to link it to the app and then switch to motor rotation.
Alternatively, since these are sensorless motors, we can swap a couple of motors. cables that will make the escs go in the opposite direction so next thing is to connect both ascs at the same time and make sure both the front and the rear drive guys hopefully that will work so let's put these wheels back on , get your body back. we turn it back on and then we'll take it out for its first little test drive here we are at the place it's getting a little dark we have clearly in the house they have a toy there that we're going to play in a different video we're all connected we're just running it in 8 and 8 to start and then in a different video we're going to actually open it up.
