Now this may be a little controversial as I have heard people say that there is a wrong way and a right way to cut watermelons and I think this is just a totally different idea: you will

need

some popsicle sticks. Luckily, Dollar Tree has them in their craft section and we're going to take a pairing knife and cut little slits in just the green part. Slide those popsicle sticks into basically making a watermelon porcupine now. take a knife and start cutting it into larger pieces and then twist the watermelon and cut it between the popsicle sticks to make those smaller slices, and there you have it, watermelon on a stick.

I feel like this is a really easy way to cut down on the mess and also make it really easy to serve watermelon, so let me know in the comments below if there is a right way and a wrong way to cut watermelon. These ideas will make your barbecue easier and more fun. Come on, these cute little gadgets are actually made for tacos. They come in a set. of two and if you turn them the other way, it actually opens up this thing where you have room for three. I guess you could use them for tacos or, in my case, perfect for serving your hot dogs on a bun, speaking of hot dogs.

To make it even easier to cook all those hot dogs for your barbecue dishes, simply grab one of these packs of bamboo skewers from Dollar Tree. They come in a pack of 100, so you'll get plenty of them. It takes two per group of hot dogs, so take the stick, slide it on one side of the hot dog, another stick to the other side of the hot dog and start layering hot dogs on those two sticks, so that these hot dogs are ready to use. on the grill and as you can see just drop them in there once they've cooked for a couple of minutes on one side you can use some tongs and just flip them all over at the same time and then once all the hot dogs are finished.

When cooking, you can drop them into a foil pan, which luckily you can also find at Dollar Tree for a very affordable price. Actually, this two pack here is $125 and that will lead us to our next trick and that is to use that second tray as a lid for the On the first tray, you will also need a wooden pin for this, so once you put the meat or food on the first tray, flip the other tray right on top of there, the Clos pin will help keep the lid in place so it doesn't move. is a great way to arrange all the condiments and ingredients to pile on your hot dogs and burgers. I've always been very worried about leaving my condiment bottles out in the heat. I always worry that they are going to break down. bad and then you just have to replace everything good, so if you use one of these muffin cups, it will keep everything nice and compartmentalized and then you can restock and refill them as needed and store those jars, canisters, and condiments in your refrigerator. and prevent them from spoiling, so how about we prevent those cold side dishes from spoiling?

You can do it very easily with the help of these very, very affordable aluminum cans from Dollar Tree. They come in a pack of three so you can make three side dishes. dishes and just load them with ice and then place the garnishes on top to keep them cool. You can also put water in the bottom of these aluminum trays and stick them in the freezer overnight to give them a nice flat bottom for them, but if you're at the last minute like me ice works just as well for this idea, you'll need a large bowl, also a strainer and scoop, all from Dollar Tree and this is a great idea for your drink station, so what are we going to do?

What we're going to do is take that big bowl, put it in first, put the strainer on top and then fill the strainer with the ice so the ice tends to melt very quickly, right? Have you ever put ice in your cup and it's just full of water and it dilutes your drink, this will save you from having to deal with it, so when the ice melts you can lift the strainer up, it will drain all the excess water into the bowl and pour the water into the sink or into a plant and then you can replace the strainer and we have what is now practically fresh ice, so here you have a totally different idea, but we are going to use the same container from our last trick, but you're also going to need a margarita glass, I know, it's really funny, but it's perfect because it's basically a raised bowl for us and perfect for chips and dip, so in this case I'm going to add some salsa to my margarita glass. margarita and then I'll place that glass in our bowl. and then you just fill all your chips in the bowl around the margarita glass and you have a two in one place for your chips and dips.

I saw the following idea on Pinterest and thought surely this doesn't work. I have to try it and I already had one of these garden flags, so let's try it, of course, normally. You put a decorative flag here, but the idea is to add a roll of paper towels to it, sure enough, it slides in there. the perfect size, the little hook at the end keeps it from coming off and then you just twist it around and you can grab your paper towels, perfect for outdoors, perfect for your grill and perfect for your guests, so I talked about those pesky ones. insects first we are going to do a trick using some of these cupcake liners to keep the insects out of our drink and it is very easy to do, especially if you have glass jars.

I told you I'm obsessed with mason jars and you're going to use them for drinks, you just take the paper, push it down over the top and form it into the glass so it stays there. Make a small hole in the middle and drop the straws in there. Instant bug guard and cover for those. drinks we also had to try recently, this trick totally works. What you're going to do is, if you're cooking burgers, you're just going to drop them on the grill, make a little hole in the middle or a notch in the middle and put an ice cube in it.

In the middle what it will do is keep the moisture in the burger meat that way it doesn't dry out and let me tell you it's a simple little thing that goes a long way and here's my bonus idea for you, these are all called coolers, right, they're Styrofoam coolers.
