Jun 07, 2021
Hello guys, welcome to my channel if you are new here. I'm Mary and I love sharing with all of you the many projects I have going on, so in today's video I'm very excited to show you where I've been going with our

white

tent, that space that I'm creating. If you've been following my channel for a while you're probably almost tired of hearing me talk about this, but to make a long story short last summer when I set up my booth at a local vintage fair, a storm came through and destroyed my booth and this in turn It prompted me to create a space here at home that I can organize, put my things that I redo and have. perhaps a permanent fountain stand, as you might call it for the past few months.

I've been working on it whenever I had time, so I'll give you just a quick overview of what's been done with it so far, now that the space is, you know, all nice and clean and empty, it's ready to go. the

furniture

. I made several of these panels and used to use them at the Vintage Fair. You know, in my booth I would provide almost a kind of wall to hang on. The signs decided to use a few of these here in the middle of the room just to add a focal point and also provide more space to hang things.

My mom kindly came over the other day and helped me clean up. Here is the exterior of a

store

. Almost finished, and I thought I'd show you in this video what we've been doing there. One of the first things we did was scrape the gravel off the driveway and then my son put some dirt on the areas. that needed to be filled in to create a nice even slope. We put grass seeds. I never got a video of it, but we put the seeds in and then covered it with straw and kept it watered as for the outside of the building, my husband. he removed the lining.

I never got a video of it, but a lot of the pieces had holes in them and if he had just replaced them, they wouldn't have matched the old siding, so we opted to replace everything on that side. and we also decided to trim the windows with black metal trim where my husband works. He was able to get a metal bender. I'm not sure what the actual name is, but he used the piece to create, you know, nice uniform bands or lines in the metal for the edge. I bought these lights at Lowe's and it said they were black, but they weren't as black as when we went around the windows, so I gave it a coat of flat black paint from Oh Liam, so all summer.

I've been looking for boxwoods that were the right price to plant out front and finally Walmart had a sale on theirs. They were normally marked down from 1497 to 897 so I was really impressed with the fact that we have really rocky soil here where I live so it's always a challenge to dig a hole and digging ten holes wasn't really an easy task but together we did it , the last thing I did to complete the exterior of the

store

was create a small metal sign that I wanted. to put on the right side of the door that says a

white

cabin company and I use the same metal my husband used for the border, folded the edges and then of course I use my trusty silhouette cameo to cut out my words for To me, one thing we eventually want to replace is the doors right now, they're still in good condition, we thought about leaving them for now, but I think it would look really nice maybe with some wooden doors or just that look, you know, metal doors. which seem like wood to go with this topic here, but for now they will do.
I still have a few things I want to add in the space, I'm really excited, but I'll add some plants and some more home decor and then too. You know, pillowcases, pillows and curtains, things like that. I'm not done yet, but I feel like most of it is done for most of this

furniture

. I chose not to fix them, simply because I didn't have any. At the time I thought I'd rather just mark them up a bit and then spend time fixing it up, plus I thought a lot of the pieces that add character to them might have a scratch on them, you know, here for I'm filming this.
My

idea

is still to maybe, you know, have people make appointments to come and

shop

, since we don't have parking here at our house. I'm just going to have to keep it on a really small scale and if you're interested at all and following this as far as you know where I'm going with this or if you're interested in maybe knowing to book it, make sure you follow me on Instagram because I'll probably share more there compared to what what do you know how to do. a video about it once I know what program I want to use and how I want to do this and I'll put my Instagram link below in the description box.
