For a time, Ruben was on top of the world, but just a few months later, a fatal shooting would drag Dude back down to earth. On April 23, 2016, a total of three people tragically lost their lives outside a club. I imagine this isn't the kind of moment a person would forget, but for Ruben it had been a different shot. been playing deep within his subconscious and we talked long before tonight, when Ruben was just a baby, his father, Danny Foster, did the unthinkable. This cat actually fired a gun at Ruben's mom and to make matters a hundred times worse, he shot her while she was holding an 18 month old Ruben in her arms. Ruben's mom suffered a collapsed lung due to the unforgivable incident and the baby ruben suffered a back injury they both could have easily lost their lives that day and to think the cat that was supposed to protect them was the one who pulled the damn trigger, how can you deal with something like this?

A quick search would suggest that children don't start forming memories until they are three years old, but as usual, dig a little deeper and you'll discover a little more. For the story, an article on the Better Health channel states that trauma can have serious effects on babies and young children. Many people incorrectly believe that babies do not notice or remember traumatic events when, in reality, anything that affects older children and adults in the family can also affect them. the baby now traumatic and life-threatening events can include car accidents, traumatic death in the family, criminal abuse or your father shooting you and your mom, yes that could do it, this suggests that the insane incident that he had to live through a 18 month old boy.
Through one form or another he definitely made his mark on the government. Rubin grew up in Auburn, Alabama but moved to Georgia when he was in high school. He quickly showed off his athletic prowess by easily dunking a basketball when he was in seventh grade, but he didn't. It took a long time before Rubén fell in love with a different sport, one that is practiced with a little more violence. Look at this quote. There's that moment when you hit someone for the first time and it gives you chills. You hit a crowd. Say "oh", and before that, when you put on the suit. and you transform and become a dog, you are a beast just watching all the other boys turn into dogs without stress when Reuben was just a freshman in high school, their dog mentality quickly earned them the respect of everyone. seniors, but it wasn't like that.
Long before that respect turned into outright bowing as the freshman went toe-to-toe with Under Armor All-American and future NFL running back Isaiah Crowell Rubin played that game with one arm broken and still managed to stand above everyone else. He finished his freshman campaign with 110 tackles and the stats get more and more ridiculous as time goes on in his sophomore season 112 tackles as a junior 185 tackles with 18 of them quarterback sacks well into the season. Roman's junior, his high school coach was fired for using a somewhat innovative recruiting pitch, so after that incident, Ruben returned to the state of Alabama and transferred to Auburn High for his senior season, while his Individual numbers were down a bit from previous years.
Rubin proved that he had only improved as a player and earned MVP honors at the 2013 Under Armor All-American Game as one of the top recruits in the country. Ruben received great offers when it came to his college choice, but in the end it all came together. reduced to two schools ruben had originally committed to the alabama crimson tide but after attending auburn high duke changed his commitment to auburn university obama shouted foul play which triggered a whole ncaa investigation now i know how these schools do it Man, they took it very, very far, but ruben actually took it a few steps further trying to demonstrate his commitment to auburn university like this was a little crazy.
Look at this first. There was this quote at the end of the day. I feel like Auburn University is the place for me and my family. I am 100% sure of my final decision, so it is a strong statement and a difficult commitment. but Reuben still felt that he wanted to do a little more to show his reverence and commitment to the school. This man proceeded to go too far, IMHO, by tattooing the entire auburn logo on his arm before signing. his letter of intent after college football

happened

, Gene Chizick was fired and Reuben was released and decided to attend Bama after all, while proudly showing off his auburn tattoo, it had to be a little awkward and all those crazy people from The Roll Tide were eagles. 30 for 30.
Oh, I know they were losing their minds if Auburn was a play in Russia, but instead of covering it up, Ruben decided to keep an altered version of the tattoo and gave it meaning by changing it to a tribute to his cousin. Former Auburn fullback Ladarius Phillips, who lost his life, rest in peace, Ladarius Rubin got a little playing time during his first few seasons at Bama and I'm sure he probably got impatient at times, but these years would ultimately prove to be . the foundation for an extremely bright future, however, during that same period, Ruben would form a connection that would slowly devour that same foundation.
Now, obviously, I don't know this young woman or Ruben personally and I'm not saying that either of them are bad people on their own, but what I do know is that they together were kind of a recipe for disaster. More on that in a second we have a little more football to talk about first, come on. Ruben didn't get the starting job until his junior season at Alabama, but when he finally got his chance, the guy wasted no time in establishing himself as a staple on that defense, finishing second on the team with 73 tackles and also recording two sacks. .
Bama's defense was loaded, as usual, with NFL elites. like eddie jackson, marlon humphries and minka fitzpatrick, just to name a few on offense, they had derrick henry, calvin ridley, kenyon drake and oj howard, plus ruben and an all time great coach, and yes, that's one recipe for a national championship, as I said in the Introduction This was Rubén's best moment and for a short time he was at the top of the sport. Then, on the night of April 23, Ruben was present at a nightclub in his hometown of Auburn, Alabama, when a triple homicide took place after an altercation. a man shot three other guys, taking their own lives, Ruben's presence alone at this party sparked debates about his judgment, his character, and the company he kept, but it all seemed unfair and unnecessary given the fact that the reports are clear, Roman didn't. it had nothing to do with it. do with that, but despite that literal fact, this wouldn't stop people from forever associating Reuben Foster with you know, this kind of situation in many ways is a modern tragedy.
The first time Ruben found himself near a gunshot was when the guy was only 18 years old. months this time ruben was not physically injured but in both situations the people he cared about were deeply affected one of the men who lost his life that night was a friend of rubens shocked by the events that occurred ruben posted this on his twitter account After the incident , a not-so-subtle reminder of how fast things can go, from the national championship to this moment, unfortunately Ruben's life would continue this pattern for the next few years, an extreme high followed by an extreme low, but eventually the maximums.
He would become less extreme and the lows would become more extreme. It really sucked during Rubin's senior year. The guy was able to put it all together on the field, maybe he refocused because of the tragedy he endured, that off-season guy was diagnosed everywhere on plays like him. He had been standing in the group's office, recording 115 tackles and five sacks on his way to receiving the Buckets Award, the trophy awarded to the top linebacker in the entire nation. Bama returned to the national championship for the second consecutive season, but this time. they fell to clemson now obviously it was still an incredibly successful season for Ruben, it was so good that in fact he was now ranked as the top inside linebacker in his draft class and was viewed as a top 10 pick, but as I predicted it throughout the video.
His time in the sun would be quickly followed by a period of darkness leading up to the NFL draft. It was announced that Ruben had surgery for a rotator cuff tear that caused him to lose the senior ball and then during the NFL combine, the moment when even the worst cats are on their best behavior. Ruben did something that threatened to completely eliminate a top-10 pick in the first round, according to reports. Rubén went to the team and had a heated argument with one of the doctors because he didn't like him. the way they treated him now, in general, he didn't like the way they treated him, that could mean a lot of different things, but it would later be discovered that at least part of it was the fact that he didn't like him.
I want to have to wait in line, the guy was getting frustrated with the long lines that were turning into divas even playing the Do You Know Who I Am card? He is like a dog. You are here with all the stars of college football. You are just one of them. this situation just stand in line brother, you have been working your whole life for this, you are going to throw it away for standing in line for 20 minutes, now you will be fine, once the doctor told him he had to wait in line like everyone As for the rest, the story goes that Ruben gets angry and argues back and forth with the doctor and at some point during their exchange it is reported that he said or implied that he was going to put his hands on the doctor to stop him from letting him jump. the line like, come on bro, so when every team came ready to interview Reuben Foster ready to sit down with him, they gotta find out they sent him home, but talking to the damn doctor, bro, you wanna talk about taking a draft, yeah that will do, this is where cats can understand how the interview process works, it's an interview bro, if you're going for the job interview, I don't care how good you areresume if you threaten to beat him up. receptionist, they probably won't hire you, that's how things usually go, but besides that fiasco, those doctors you're messing with are literally the ones who will analyze your blood work and I'm not saying they would do anything shady, but they're human and a lot of humans do shady things all the time, so when someone had access to your blood test it was like a waiter having access to your food, control what you can control, just try to be.
Well you feel me let's see what happens next oh yeah Ruben fails his drug test as it came back as a diluted sample and a diluted sample is treated the same way as a positive at the NFL combine right now because you've completely screwed this up like he has. He probably did the worst possible job he could do the moment he was sent home, he failed the drug test, he didn't run or do any other training, he literally would have done better if he had stayed home, but luckily for Reuben, talent allowed it. You get second and third chances, that's just the way it is, but even for a guy who is as immensely talented as Ruben Foster there are still limits, something he would learn the hard way on draft day.
Ruben almost fell to the second round but the 49ers took their chance with the final pick of the first round making Ruben the first round pick, he simply did it due to Ruben's questionable judgment, this was seen as a risky pick but given the fact that with what they had to spend and the advantages this guy had, it was easily a risk worth taking from the start, everything seemed to be paying off. Like Reuben's first game, he started very well on the first 10 plays of his career. The guy recorded three solo tackles, including a tackle for loss and a pass deflection.
You remember the up-and-down thing on the first 10 extremely promising snaps, but on the 11th snap, he broke his damn ankle and missed the next five games as a rookie who only played 10 games of pro football. The approach gave this man a rating of 90.7. This is incredibly good, it was easily the highest rating among rookies at his position and it was good enough. to rank him fourth in the entire league, okay only three inside linebackers were rated higher than a rookie who only played 10 games, the guy was talented and his future looked extremely bright as he seemed to be on his way to becoming a elite NFL player, but No matter how good things looked on the surface, Ruben's foundation was crumbling.
The foundation of his career was being eaten away by a toxic relationship when it began in college, along with Rubén's inability to deal with these emotions and make sound decisions. They would soon come to the fore and, unfortunately, all those people who were throwing disses at Ruben since that incident he had nothing to do with in college were back and this time there was actually some validity to who they were. said and what sucks the most is that ruben was unknowingly giving them all the ammunition they would need rubens quick recap 2018 that january the guy was arrested for possession of marijuana no big deal that february he was arrested on suspicion of domestic crimes threats of violence and possession of assault weapons that escalated pretty quickly, but then in April his girlfriend, who called the police in the first place, made a statement saying that he never hit her, never hurt her or threatened her, basically saying that she made the whole thing up. she even testified under oath that it was a made up story and that it was all just a money scheme don't even be surprised, I told you it was a toxic relationship bro we are talking about toxic and dangerous this is one of those situations where None of us know the real truth, people think we know, but if you weren't there, you don't really know the truth because this is the thing about Reuben's girl at the time: she had actually lied to a guy in the past and had told her that he assaulted her and then admitted that he was lying, so yes, she has a history of this, but also if we are just talking about the threats part, we know that Ruben has a little history with that If you just look at the way he came out of the combine so he could see that all of this was true, the real truth of the story is probably somewhere in between, but because it's one of those young, unhealthy relationships, it makes both parties in the relationship not really the best source of reliable information because the relationship is so hot and cold that one day you will be ready to take the stand and send the man to jail for 10 years and the next day you will be defending them doing everything you can to Same with the guy, this is what I know, although I have enough information to know that once this situation was over, they should have

gone

their separate ways like they were better off without each other, that's a fact, but a few months later They were still playing and one Saturday night at the team hotel, the night before a game, by the way, the old lady was there in the parking lot with Reuben, they got into this, this guy supposedly took her phone out of her hand, pushed her and slapped her in the face again, this is according to reports, this is basically her side of the story, so maybe she lied again, maybe she's making up another story or maybe this really happened, but to go with Reuben again you have to control what you can control and at this point to keep falling into this trap over and over again, you have to figure out how to process your emotions or just keep your distance, like I said at the beginning.
Ruben's childhood trauma is probably one of the underlying reasons. which leads to these problems and I'm pretty sure it at least plays a role in what seems to be just a magnetism towards this toxic thing like he keeps coming back to this but you know what the hardest part is and it took me a lot time. To understand this, no one gives a damn, everyone has problems and everyone worries about their own listening, that's a cold hard truth, but once you can accept that, only then can you really start making real progress. In the case of Ruben, you need to recognize and admit that you have some problems, brother, whether they were created by that incident when you were a child or other things that happened throughout your life, once you admit you can get help and then move on with your life, and if you think that's Dramatic, I say something is wrong mentally and it's probably caused by childhood trauma.
Just think about this. Think about the job Reuben Foster had. Think about the fact that he did something he loved to do and made a ridiculous amount of money. willing to throw that away because he couldn't overcome these problems, that's when you know he's strong because he had to know he was running out of opportunities after the incident outside the team hotel, the 49ers officially released Reuben Foster, so in 2018, just one year later. Being drafted in the first round and having a stellar rookie season, the 49ers let one of the best young players in the league go shortly after the charges against Ruben were dropped because there was insufficient evidence and once again we have an accuser who has falsely accused people. in the past and at this point you look at Ruben's criminal record and say you know why it was dismissed, he was acquitted for this, he wasn't found guilty of most of the things he was accused of, he wasn't actually convicted of that.
It led some people to look back on that and say the 49ers were wrong to release them in the first place, but you know I disagree. Here's a quick lesson and it's really brother when people or especially companies have the option to deal. someone who always seemed to attract negativity, seems to attract drama, you're going to disassociate yourself from that person, whether guilty or not, and I personally don't think that's a bad thing, I think you make your own luck and if you make your own luck luck, that means you can control whether you are lucky or unlucky in general by the way you move the energy that you carry and yes, even the people you associate with, yes, so if you are one of those people, living In that and there seems to be a dark cloud around every corner, cleanse your attitude, cleanse your energy and just stop hanging out with people who insist on being miserable, Ruben fell into that dark space and once he did, everything seemed to go away. bad once the dominoes started falling the guy just couldn't catch a break so the 49ers released him and a few days later Washington picked him up shortly after the league cleared Ruben and suited up for his first practice with your brand.
The new team then on the first day of practice, Ruben suffered another injury, this time it was a torn ACL and LCL now that the injury took place in early 2019 and Ruben has not felt since today, the former top pick round. He is 27 years old, what if he was able to stay out of trouble? What if he could avoid these injuries? Ruben is no longer in Washington and is currently a free agent as his career seems to have stalled since then. his stellar rookie season and the only time he seems to be in the news in recent years was because he got hurt or got in trouble, look man we don't know what ruben

foster

has left, maybe he'll even sign with the team for now at the time this video comes out, but it's also very possible that we've already seen the best of Reuben Foster, as sometimes players never come back from the situation they're currently in, he's gotten older and is still trying to recover from After a series of injuries, due to his off-field issues, he hasn't really done much to earn much goodwill around the league, but it only takes a team one chance to turn everything around, a refocus from Reuben that he learned of his mistakes and is ready to come in and contribute to an organization that can be kind of scary, so to this point, that's what happened to Ruben Foster at 27 years old and with only 16 NFL games under his belt.
He's starting to come a little late in the game. but that being said, there is still time on the clock and only time will tell if Reuben Foster can make that classic fourth quarter comeback calm you down.
