I'm doing this to be healthy and move my body because that's what exercise should really be about, it's about how you feel on the inside and not how you look on the outside and you're already beautiful just the way you are without further ado let's get into it. I've done it once before, but it was a long time ago that I did that reformable pilates class, so let's go and do it, so this contraption here is a reformer machine that looks an awful lot like it. a medieval torture device I made the mistake of not booking an introductory class, so I actually had no idea how to change the springs or use the machine. Fortunately, the instructor could see the fear in my eyes and came to help, so I took a free trial for this class, so I didn't

to pay for it. I was definitely the most inexperienced person in this class and I spent most of the time wandering around and looking at the other girls wondering what I was doing wrong, but after 45 minutes of confusion.

I'm a little scared because it's a mix of Pilates and cardio, basically what we're going to do. Pilates breaks and moving on to the cardio machine and then coming back, I have no idea why I signed up for this but I thought, you know what?

I want to try something new now, this strong Pilates class was a completely different ball game I stepped into. and everyone there looked like models on the cover of Sports Illustrated and I still have no idea how to use the reformer machine and yeah, at first it was a little embarrassing, but then I thought everyone had to start somewhere, right? Usain Bolt did not come out. After sprinting in the womb, he first had to learn to walk. I mean, he was a little kid at the time, but if you never start, you'll never improve and I was determined to become a Pilates princess by the end of this challenge.
Look who joined me. For my pilates workout today, what did you think? We just did strong Pilates, which is like cardio mixed with Pilates. I'd say it was less intense than last time, but still pretty intense. We do our workout at 7am on a Saturday, that's not a heavy couples activity. was screaming for help. I had to take a lot of breaks and I could barely lower my legs when doing the abdominal exercises. This is all I have. No, no, they're going to know how they would know. I would say it was harder than cardio plus Pilates. I didn't really want to do that pilates class because I'm so stressed from work. but honestly, it was the highlight of my day.
I was a little rubbish about filming what I ate during these

weeks

, but I didn't follow any diet. I

the Mediterranean diet for a few days and then quickly forgot I was trying it. that, but I'm a pescetarian, I don't consume a lot of dairy and I basically eat what I want when I want. I also have PCOS, so I try to eat as low carb as I can, but I don't always stick to it. I didn't even record today because I was struggling so much. I always say I've never sweated so much in my life, but I was literally wet from the bears down and my body hurts.
My body hurts. The teacher came up to me and I was like I was struggling, I had no idea what I was doing and she asked me: Have you done any sessions since I saw you last week? And I said: I've done four, four sessions, so this is where we are and today. I changed it up and went to Studio Pilates which is more of a traditional Pilates class, it has a completely different vibe than hard Pilates and I thought I already knew the reformer machine at this point but obviously I was wrong. I just finished week three. two, but this time it was called strong body plus, so it's a different class and it's all high intensity.
I didn't realize I booked it and was quickly shocked to realize how high intensity this class we go to was. row as fast as we can and then jump straight into lifting the dumbbells and then do a push press and I was dying but I feel like I'm getting stronger and I really love Pilates look how flexible I'm getting. Yesterday I jumped into the splits. I thought: wait a minute, when did this happen tomorrow? I'm going to try to get up for training in the morning, so we'll see how it goes. It's 6:50 a.m. m. and I was literally slapping my face driving here trying to wake up because I'm so tired, oh god okay so yeah yesterday we were doing really heavy weights with Pilates and I was trying to keep up with everyone else and I'm like back about to enter Pilates.
I'm doing another morning session. Look at us being that girl, so even if I hurt my back a little, that wouldn't stop me. Look at me doing the reformer machine. I was worried I would have to run to the bathroom and throw up in that one. it was like Biggest Loser and Murray also looked like he was going to love it week four day one high five ten quick training update I think I died about 10 times during that oh my god I tried so hard and I had to sit in my car for 10 minutes later because I was worried about fainting while driving, that's how the Pilates session went.
Good morning guys, I'm excited for today because we're going to do Pilates, honestly, I just looked in the mirror this morning. It's not about that at all, but I can definitely see my muscles as I think they are forming. I feel great about it, I definitely feel a lot healthier doing this and the instructors promote me as one of the The instructors were like you were killing it today and I was like, “Oh my gosh, thank you so much,” another day, another Pilates sled, this bad boy here is the Pilates ring, also known as the ring of fire, trying to hold this between your legs, is what I imagine.
It feels like trying to hold your pee in when you're very pregnant and I had finally graduated from doing knee exercises to doing them all the way oh yeah of course I had to reward myself afterwards with some bruschetta and a bagel. all about balance I just finished a strong Pilates class that I didn't film because it was completely full and I'm about to use a gym shower for the first time, which makes me a little nervous because I've never used one. Before it feels a little strange when there are people exercising near me, kill the workout first.
Jim's shower was successful and he used the hair dryer. Hello somehow I deleted all my images from last week. I've been a YouTuber for about three years full time. And I still managed to delete half of my damn footage. I think I have a couple of phone clips from last week. Last week went well, but it's a new week, on Monday I'm going to an exclusive Pilates session wearing a cute little green outfit. I feel very bloated and uncomfortable today I'm on my period once again thanks PCOS for that. You'd think Pilates is hard enough on its own, but today we bring out the balance ball, aka my arch-nemesis whose job it is to make Pilates girls shake. in his boots, but look how much my balance has improved.
I held this for a minute straight, somehow my period gave me superhuman

strength

because I killed it today. The only thing going through my head during this training session is the thought of the cold and humidity. eucalyptus towel that they give you at the end they should put holy water in these because it feels like you are touching the hands of Jesus himself for dinner tonight Murray and I are going to dinner and this is reduced carb eggplant, masala curry with cashews and cauliflower rice, that's our Eggplant Masala Curry, do it right, I like it, yes Susie, keep holding the last five down, oh they're there, three, two, two and one on your back.
I have my Pilates clogs on. I felt pretty good today, I think. I did a really good job and I think having breakfast before my Pilates workout was a good idea. Only the Pilates class ended. Is Thursday. I've slept about four hours, but a little lack of sleep never hurt anyone, so we still go to Pilates. I'm tired? Yes, I'm afraid of this. Yes, but you know? I'm not a deserter. I have my Apple Watch. I have my ads and I'm ready to go. I did it. It was very difficult. It definitely was. It wasn't my best Pilates session.
I accidentally touched the machine several times, which I don't usually do because I'm so tired, but I still managed it. Good morning guys, it's my penultimate day of this challenge, we ended up doing more. Over four weeks I'm so proud I'm so excited Honestly, I started this challenge like it was a longer one. I was a little tired and a little scared, but I'm so glad I did it and I feel amazing. I really want to. I can better see my muscles in my arms like they feel super strong. I'm just having some coffee before I go in, because I didn't get much sleep yesterday.
I still feel a little tired. I put on a little. mango and coconut bread on the way this is my fuel for this Pilates session okay quick update having coffee before Pilates was not a good idea because now I need to do a number two and they only have one bathroom there, here's one of my absolute favorite breakfast for most mornings. I will have onevariation of this, an English muffin with tomatoes, spinach and scrambled eggs. I would definitely recommend eating it with a knife and fork, although this is the last day of six weeks of Pilates and I was actually already back. in Canberra doing this workout at Ground Up, which is the first place I did a reformer pilates session.
What a full circle moment. Six weeks ago, Susie could barely handle a reformer machine and here I am, riding it like a stallion I've transformed from a klutz. duckling to An Elegant Swan if Kendall Jenner and Haley Bieber could see me right now they would rip off their tiaras and hand them to me because right now I'm the real Pilates princess well guys I'm in cold Canberra now and I just went. and I did the last Pilates session of this challenge. I think he deserves a pat on the back. Add a pad on your back for getting through this.
Here they go. Good job, it was actually a pretty easy session so I ended up going to zero and it's a little more relaxed. I think I'm putting it a little forward because Susie didn't have to take any breaks, so he did kill that session and I didn't even sweat that much. I feel so good, so proud, I love Pilates so much and I'm definitely so happy to have tried something new because of this challenge, so here I am after six weeks of Pilates and what did I think I have to say? I finally understand the Pilates hype.
I feel like I've gotten a lot stronger and a lot more flexible, which is why I forgot about flexibility at first. It was super daunting to try a completely new exercise that I knew nothing about, but have absolutely fallen in love with. I'm definitely going to keep doing Pilates, probably not five days a week because I miss my weight training. I also want to do it again, but even though I didn't film once, I'm much better at Pilates now. I'm still not very good at some of the exercises so I don't think I'll ever be a perfect planker, but I can do it for a lot longer than I used to as far as the changes in my body, we know.
This is not about the appearance of my body, but she is perky and under her belly is a six pack. I'm talking tough as a rock, but my

core

became very strong and I didn't really have a strong core before and most importantly. The thing is, I had a lot of fun doing these exercises and I was excited to go to my classes and see all the usual people, I made a friend in the class and even though I look a little silly doing some of the exercises, who cares? Does it matter what everyone is focused on? themselves working out I mean, believe me, I'm the sweatiest girl in that class.
I will be dripping on the reformer, but that just means I am working hard, so I recommend trying the pilates reformer.
