Apr 10, 2024
bunny, welcome, I cut to the width of my bunny and glued it and this was ready for my front door. You'll have to let me know in the comments if you were one of the people who loved this last year and recreated it. I would love to I know it was so much fun to make this Kirkland dupe, it's this cute little Garland bunny, so I started with some felt and some pom poms, both from Michael's, and I used my tape on a roll, something close to me that could use as a template. and I cut a circle.

I took these larger pieces of felt and folded them so I could get two equal pieces. I went ahead and folded it into quarters to save some time when cutting. Now yes I have a Cricut machine that you can cut felt on so easily, but I wanted to give you a non-cricket version to make too. Once I cut out all my pieces, I decided to make a couple of tan and white bunnies and then went ahead with some scraps and made ears for everyone, so you will need two circles and two ears per bunny. Then we're also going to cut two feet per bunny, it's like a rounded triangle. and this is the look we're going for, so the first step to putting our bunny together is to take some hot glue and put it all over the outside and then we're going to leave a little bit of space so we can fill it in now.

Again, you can use whatever you have here, tissue paper, cotton balls, extra lint from the pillows, you just want the circle to be nice and full so it looks like a fuzzy bunny. Once it's all filled in, you can add a little glue and close it. I then took my bottom needle, which I love to use for projects, tied a double knot on the end and then added a few stitches to the bottom of each of the feet to make it look like the bunnies' little toes essentially I don't know if bunnies have Bunny toes, you know what I'm saying, once you see it you'll get the gist, once I had my little lines where I wanted them, I tied them in the back and cut them out, then I glued both feet and also I put a little tail on my bunny and then I pinched the ends of my ears and then glued them on top.

I repeated that for all the different foreign bunnies and then to thread them I used my pin needle, which is just a long tapestry needle. which I can use to string garlands and I poked it through the felt on the back so I could string them all. This is such a cute garland, but you can also take the pieces individually and place them next to a vase or potted plant and it looks like a bunny is hiding. I really wanted a nice big hoop wreath for our front door, but everywhere I went they were super expensive, so I decided, like I do now, to make my own.

I picked up a variety of eucalyptus selections from Michael's. because I liked the color of these compared to the ones at Walmart and then while I was there because they had spring flower sales I also picked up some light peonies from Dusty Rose. I started by taking some jute twine and tying my pieces to the wreath I found. With a hoop wreath like this, it's much easier to tie it with two twines that will then blend together rather than trying to glue it or hook anything anywhere. I also used some smaller pieces of jute twine and tied the individual pieces where I wanted them to make it look like they actually curved around the wreath.
I repeated the same step with the second set of eucalyptus to make it look nice and complete and then finished by hanging it to add my flowers with hot glue so I could really see what these floral wreaths would look like, you don't need to put a lot of time and effort into them. The greenery with the flour mixture is perfect. I only had the four pieces of flowers, you could add more, you could add less and this is Another thing is that if you want to tie the pink flowers, you can easily remove them and change them for spring and summer, so with the mystery box the year Last night I received this little fence sign from Jamie and I decided to cut it out and make some little labels Now, if you want to do this project, you don't have to follow all these steps.
I was just challenged and I was bound and determined to make it happen but you can easily buy some small wooden tags at places like Hobby Lobby or Michael's to make this I ended up staining them so if you have small unfinished tags you can also stain them and then I painted with spray a bunch of those little white ornaments from Dollar Tree. I used a little hot glue to stick them on the label. and it was a very simple process after I finished having to cut out my own tags, but they were super cute to add to little Easter baskets or you could put them on a tiered tray with tons of different options, but I thought they were so fun. you could add names or initials to them, but I love the white Stark bunny against the foreign spot color.
Let's top this off with a fun DIY from Dollar Tree that you can customize to whatever you want, so I like to grab these trays from the craft section. and I dye them so I have them in my stash whenever I want to use them. The first way to use them is to make a photo frame, so I simply cut out Easter 2022 and glued it to the bottom of this tray, this is essentially the bottom. or back however you want to see it, but once I applied the text I added, these cute little bunnies added a little clip plus a little carrot and you could easily add any image you wanted in there.
I also finished it with some jute twine to help hold the image together, but it would be great for an Easter bunny photo or you could also use it for a family photo at Easter. I like trays because they sit on their own and you'd never guess it's a tray, you just see it. like a solid piece of wood, another option is to use it to create a sign, so I cut out "Welcome Home" but left out the "Oh and Home" so I could cut out a cute bunny, so this is all just white vinyl, like this so welcome to R and then, I and then I grabbed some Buffalo plaid Dollar Tree vinyl because I wanted to try it and I just cut out a simple bunny shape, now I was having a problem with the vinyl peeling off the back when I wanted to put it on. on my mat so I just flattened it out with my little scraper but once I glued it down it was easy to cut out this bunny shape and then I just tied on some jute twine and also tied on another one of those little ornaments I used them on everything last year like I really got a lot of mileage out of my purchase of 1.25 of the carrot and bunny containers and there you have it, super quick and easy, add some flowers or a cute bunny and this is Great for a side table or a small vignette in your kitchen.
