Mar 29, 2024
Hello everyone, welcome to my channel. I have a compilation of my DIY

canvas

es from today. I'm going to stay on these beads with some Varathane Golden Oak Gel Stain and I have three eight by ten

canvas

es from Dollar Tree that I'm just going to cut up. some popsicle sticks and I'm cutting them up so I can attach the thread and the beads and here I'm just tying a knot in the end of the thread and then I'm hot gluing the other end so I can thread through the beads and then I'm just going to put three and then I'm going to hot glue them together and place them with the popsicle sticks and then I'm going to make sure to measure, I hope why don't you want that to be the case. and then I just squeeze it and hot glue the other side and then I repeat that on the other side you can use more beads if you want.

I just wanted to use three and then I'm going to repeat that for the other canvas and I did it off camera so now I'm going to tie the knot at the end of the twine and then I'm going to put the rest of the beads on and then this will form the hanger and you can use as many beads as you want use bigger beads if you want you can attach the canvases with the popsicle sticks if you want you don't have to use the beads and then once it's glued in place I just cut the ends off and have these stickers from Dollar Tree, so I'm going to use three of them and glue them together and I thought they were going to stick, but sometimes they didn't stick as well.

The Dollar Trees on Dollar S

t from Dollar Tree, oh my gosh, Dollar. The

tree

things stick really well and other times they don't so I decided to put some Mod Podge on the back to stick it on and that worked because they are still there and I made this video locally. Look, I just brushed it. on the back and then stick it wherever you want on the front and I just did that for the last one you can also Mod Podge Over the Top if you want but it didn't bother and that's how it turned out. and I love how this one turned out.

I have an 8x8 canvas, just a flat one again from Dollar Tree and I'm gluing some larger beads, one in the middle and one in each corner, because this is going to become a tree and now I'm using super glue from Dollar Tree with glue to glue these half beads and I'm going to attach them down and I'm going to attach them all over the outside of this canvas, but don't worry, I'm just going to show you how I do one side and then I'll do the rest off camera and then I dyed it all with some works old ones from Waverly and then I have these tile stickers from Dollar Tree that have a lot of different ones, they have some different patterns and colors but I wanted to use these blue ones and they fit perfectly in there so I just keep sticking them on.

You can use a little extra glue if you want. It's probably better to do it, but since I was making the video I didn't do it. Put extra glue but none of it has come off. If you don't want to use all the stickers and cover the entire tray, you can just create a border inside the beads and it would look nice, you don't have to fill the whole thing. thing and I'm not going to show you how I put them all on. I would do the rest off camera and this is how it turned out and I love how this one turned out too.
I used Dollar Tree vinyl to print well. I cut out the flowers from this on my Cricut and then I'm going to transfer it to another eight by ten, not an 8x8. Sorry, it's an eight by eight square flat canvas from Dollar Tree and I'll link this transfer tape below because it works well with the Dollar Tree vinyl and I love this vinyl. I think it's really pretty so make sure it's all glued together correctly and then I trimmed any excess with a foreign half and then I just cut the amount I wanted to use, but I needed four lengths because there are four sides.
I just cut it a little longer than the sides. I think I got this lace. Hobby Lobby, you can always use the Dollar Tree ribbons for this, they have something like that cotton lace one, so now I'm just going to hot glue the lace pieces to the back, just be careful not to burn your fingers on each side. and then that's when I cut the ends so they look rounded and blend into each other and then I just hot glue them together and patch them if necessary and repeat it on each corner and then once that's done I made a hanger for the back and I'm just using some twine and a popsicle stick and this is how it turned out and I think this one turned out really nice plus a foreign flat canvas and I'm going to paint it with a little bit of Waverly. chalk paint for plaster and I have four half beads and I'm using some Mountain Blue Apple Barrel paint and then I'm going to brush dry some gold metallic paint over the top of these half beads and then I just applied a little bit of dry gold paint. around the edges of this canvas I just wanted to create a little border of color around the outside and I did that on each side and then I'm just going to hot glue the half beads into the corners.
You can use more rhythms if you want. then I'll do the same thing with these beads painted with mountain blue paint and then I'll dry brush them with metallic gold paint and hit them with twine and that will form the hanger and then I only use a skewer when I'm painting the beads unless I have a lot , then I would put them in a bag or something, but when you only have a few, you can use one of the skewers from Dollar Tree and put them on. and paint them and then they don't roll or anything and I'm just going to attach the hanger with some hot glue and a foreign ER popsicle stick from Dollar Tree and I'm just going to hot glue it to the canvas you can take off the little hanger on top if you want, but I wasn't sure I wanted to use it for anything else, but that's how it turned out.
I have another canvas from Dollar Tree and this one is eight by ten, but this is the one with the wood, so I'm just cutting the wood, I'm not going to the wood canvas with a utility knife and I want to keep that piece of canvas, so I just cut it along the outside edge and then I'm removing all the excess canvas and the staples and then I just removed the ones that were sticking out and nailed them back in and I'm going to use some Dollar Tree Super Glue wood glue and I'm just gluing these halves together. beads all over the outside and I'm just trying to get them evenly spaced with Varathane's Golden Oak Stone gel and now I'm going to reuse that piece of canvas that I cut off so I'm just hot gluing the outside. so I can re-glue the wood frame to get rid of any excess hot glue there and then I'm using the last wall sticker that I had and I'm just going to glue it on the inside and then I've decided to try hot glue on this. one instead of The Mod Podge oh I didn't sand the frame either if you want you can sand the frame and try to make it smooth but I quite like how it came out rough and then I made the hanger for the back and it's So it turned out a weird canvas of 8x8 with a little bit of black paint as one of the plans and then I made four of these four by four tower blocks, not four blocks, and then I'll glue them together in a square and make sure there's no excess seeping through. glue and then I painted the black and these pieces are from the Star puzzle game and I only painted four of them black.
I think I used two from the set for this and then just hot glued them around the outside. Paint them all if you want, but I just painted the orange ones and then I dyed the other ones with some Waverly antique wax and I'm just going to stick the canvas inside the outside to print this geometric design and now just removing it when I use some gold vinyl and just I'm going to transfer it to the image. I think this is the first time I've used my Cricut, so I make sure it's in the center and take measurements before gluing it on. correctly and you don't have to use these colors, you can use any color you want.
Black is my favorite color. I simply remove the transfer tape. You can also use any design you want. I added a hanger to the camera and this is How it turned out, this will be Dollar Tree canvases that already have an image on them and I just wanted to add something extra to it so I printed this design on my Cricut and I was just using the Dollar Tree vinyl. I'm just going to transfer it to the front of the canvas and I use the Dollar Tree vinyl because it's not a pure bright white and I just want to make sure it's in the center and I just put something underneath it to have a hard surface. surface and this one was really easy and that's how it turned out.
I have three of the small ones, I think they are five by seven flat canvases from Dollar Tree and I have these bamboo sticks from Amazon and I will link them below and here. I'm just measuring how long I want the bamboo pieces to be and I'm just marking them with a marker and trying to make sure they're all the same length and then just using pliers to break them off. I need four pieces for this foreign part. I'm only measuring the longest side pieces. Sorry you can't see the bottom and then I just cut them to size.
There you go. I moved it. I'm just filing, filing and sanding. the ends making sure they are smooth with our sand and block from Dollar Tree and then I stained them with the bamboo with the Golden Oak gel stain and then I painted the canvases with the chalk plaster paint and I'm just going to use a a couple of craft sticks to hold all the canvases together um, foreign ER for the top with some twine and a popsicle stick and I'm just going to hot glue the bamboo pieces to the front of the canvas, one on the top and another one over each of the seams and another one on the bottom and then I'm just going to hot glue the longer pieces on top and I printed three different lotus flowers on my Cricut so I'm just going to transfer them to the image and using holographic vinyl because it is so pretty that it goes from blue to purple to pink.
I try to show it to you on camera, but it doesn't capture it as well when you light it. I do not have to. use the holographic vinyl, or you can use a plain one, you can use any color you like, any design you like, you can paint the wood or canvases with any color you want. I had a hard time removing it, I can't really see it, but it changes color. I just put the last now foreigner. I'm trying to catch you. I'm trying to show you the different colors, but it just doesn't show up very well on camera, but it's really pretty in reality.
Life has an 8x10 canvas and I'm just going to take the front canvas with a utility knife and cut it close to the edge so I can keep the pet piece of canvas, oh my gosh, canvas sometimes cuts easily. sometimes there aren't always threads inside and then I just remove the excess from the back sometimes that comes off easily too sometimes it doesn't and then any of the staples that were sticking out I removed them and then if there are any sticking out just tap them you can take them out all if you want and then I'm left with this mini wood pellet and four half beads with a little bit of early American wood stain and this is one of the ones that's 10 by 12.
It's one of the largest canvases out there and then I have this wallpaper from Dollar Tree and I just stick it on the canvas and then I cut off the excess with some foreign scissors and I'm going to glue this canvas with a little bit of hot glue in the middle and then I'm going to glue the palette inside the frame of the canvas and the wooden beads in the corners of this and I have this Dollar Tree house sign and I painted it with some chalk plaster paint, but I made it for another DIY. I stole it from there, look, there's some gesso and chalk paint that I used and made the hanger for it, but I didn't show it to you, but it turns out that I'm using some Dollar Tree Super Glue wood glue to glue these halves together. beads and I'm using a larger one and then some smaller ones, you can use as many as you want.
I'm just putting them in the corners and then adding some work, so I wasn't sure how many I was going to use. to use for that and then I painted the whole thing with some chalk plaster paint and now I'm going to dry brush some gold metallic paint on those beads and it's up to you if you want to paint the beads and stuff and what colors to use . use and I'm going to use a wall sticker but you can use any wall sticker you like so I just dry brushed all the edges just to make a little border and then I use a little bit of this belly paint and then the gold . metallic paint to color these beads.
Now I'm making a hanger and the stick didn't want to cut so I just tie a knot on one end and hot glue the other end and then thread the beads. It's up to you how many beads you want to use and you want it to be seen. I don't know how many I used here so once they're up I'm just going to lay them out to make the hanger and I have this wall sticker from Dollar Tree and I'm just going to stick it in the middle and this is how it turned out. This is one of the five by seven flat canvases and I'm just going to hot glue some flooring blocks to the back to make a stand and I have the other piece of wood on there because I was doing two crafts at once, but no It matters that one anyway that would be how we would place one too.
I painted them with some Waverly ink chalk paint, okay, so I had already put the root. for you one and this is the holographic vinyl again and I found these images on qriket design space so I'm just going to show you how I put on the other um DIY that I did in this video the route for yourcell phone had many Religions, that's why I didn't show it, you can see there the color changes, so here I'm just going to add some greenery on top. This is also from Dollar Tree. I'm just going to hot glue it in place once I've hot glued it, I just add some purple florals and just hot glue them on too and the glue sticks are so dirty the glue threads are annoying and weird and that's it, that's how it turned out and it looks blue here, but then it changes pink and purple and it's so pretty in real life, this is another video.
I have two 8x8 canvases, the flat ones, and I'm going to use some mod podge and just brush them all over and then I have two different scarves from Dollar Tree once I've covered the canvas and Mod Podge, I just glue the scarf on with the part of the design that I want to be on my canvas and then cut it out, I probably could have cut it out a lot more, so I just modify Podge the back as well so I can glue it all together. and I'm just going to show you how I make one, but yeah, you can trim it more on the back if you want, this is what the front looks like.
I extend some Horror blocks with some older Waverly works. I'm just making a Hanger here for the two images, oh, and I've also seen some of these Wii blocks. I'm just hot gluing them into place and these will just create a frame. I'm making a block, uh. Horror lock. Horror lock. and on the other one I made four blocks on each corner and then three tower blocks on each side and I'm just using some nautical rope from Dollar Tree to hot glue the outside because I thought it would look cool but you don't have to do that if You don't want to, this is the first time I bought an article book and I want to use it on everything, so just cut it out and then hot glue it in place.
I love how they turned out. I've used the tropical scarves um but you can use whatever you want here. I have two 5x7 canvases but I already took the canvas off of one of them so I'm just going to show you how I make the second one and I wanted to save the canvas and now I'm just using some Dollar Tree Super Glue wood glue and I'm just going to glue the two sides that had the staples. I'm just adding a little extra glue and gluing one on. of these mini pallets and now I'm just cutting out the canvas and then I have these wall tiles from Dollar Tree and I'm going to cut them to fit inside the frame so I just glued them on, took it all on with a little bit of vintage wavy work and now I just I will hot glue the canvas to the back.
I'm slowly making it flat and now I'm making a hanger for the back and I had the sweet verse with a flower on it but I didn't like flowers so I swapped them out for some greenery and this is how it turned out and it's just a nice rack for 5x7 foreign canvases and I already took the canvas off three of them so I'm just going to show you doing the last one so I want to keep the canvases so I did them all like this because I'm going to reuse for this one and then I sanded them, I sanded them all because they're almost rough and here I am.
Am I just gluing them all together in a square? I did it, I did it this way, but what I should have done was paint the canvases first and then the frames first and then glue the canvases together before gluing all the frames together guys. Anyway, I sprayed all that black. I also had those two pictures and these are some star beads and some confetti that I thought were beads when I picked it up but it still worked but anyway I just sped up with some star confetti. Star confetti in different lengths. With a little black thread you could make all the stars.
I thought about using the confetti anyway since I bought it, so I'm not sure. I think I used Seven Stars on the left side and then 10 stars on the other side and Now I have one of these wooden squares and we wouldn't save them from Dollar Tree and I just glued them on with a little Dollar Tree Super Glue wood glue on a foreign place with a little bit of hot glue because I want it to hang and I did. the longest one in the middle and then two shorter ones on the sides and I tried to make the two sides the same length and then I glued the canvas inside, yeah I just cut it out and then glued it on with a little hot glue , but I should have done this before putting the frame together so remember to do it, it will be a lot easier now just hot glue one end and then the hot glue decides just because I was trying to make it as tight as possible.
I did that on all sides and now I'm just going to glue one of these picture frames on the bottom, it's upside down and then I'm going to glue this piece on top so you can put it like this or you can turn it around. around like this so you can have a plant or a lantern and I just filled it with some rocks from Dollar Tree and put a succulent in it and you can easily take it out and I only had those three candles to put in it, this is what it looks like. Wow, the lights are on and this is what it looks like when the lights are off.
I have this frame from Dollar Tree and I'm going to remove the backing and paint it with some chalk paint and ink. and then I'm using the glass to mark where I want to cut this fabric that I bought from Dollar Tree and I'm just using some fabric scissors and cutting it out and now I'm putting the glass back on, are we? I cleaned it first and then I put it back up and then I put the fabric on and then I put the rest of the backing on and I painted this 5x7 flat canvas with some plastic chalk paint and then I'm just putting on half of the beads.
Each corner I'm going to mark with a little bit of masking tape where I'm going to paint it and I painted it with a little bit of Waverly chalk paint and I'm doing these two sides first and then I just give it a blowout with the hair dryer and then I give it a second coat and then once it's dry I tape off the weird stuff, do the same thing again with the beads to get the right size and then mask those pieces and do the same thing and you can use any color or fabric whatever you want to do this.
Now I have a heat tool but the hair dryer works. I dyed the beads with some Waverly Antique Wax and I have two different sizes in there and I have these transfers from Dollar Tree and I'm just going to cut out the ones I want and then transfer them to the canvas. Nowadays they have many different options for transfers if you can find them, canvas is not a flat surface so it took me longer. to apply them than I would if it were flat, but I'm still putting them on just to cover that part in the middle and then you just overlap them so you can cover them and then I'm gluing on the smaller beads. in the corners and the bigger beads in the corners of the frame, oh my gosh you can see me in it.
I didn't realize that before and then I just hot glued it to the front of the image, you don't have to use glass if you don't want to and this is how it turned out. I have another 8x10 flat canvas from Dollar Tree and two of these have a lot of pallets and I'm going to use some Dollar Tree Super Glue wood glue to glue the pallets together. the canvas, oh, first I'm going to glue them together, then I'm going to glue them to the canvas, I'm just going to do that right at the bottom and then I dyed it with some Waverly antique wax along with some beads. for the hanger and I'm using a little more of this tartan fabric from Dollar Tree.
I'm just cutting it to size. I know I'm going to modify it, so put a bunch of modpodge on it and then you can paste it. the fabric and this is the, it doesn't matter what kind of mod podge, I don't think I have the shiny one either and then I tried to make the lines as straight as I could and I cut them a little bit bigger than the canvas so it could fold and have edges pretty and I just glued them on with Mod Podge. You can also go over the fabric on the front of the Mod Podge if you want, but I don't want to and Here I have a metal tape, so I'm thinking how long I want it to be and then I'm going to cut it with some scissors and I'm going to cut two pieces of this and cut it just a little. a little bit longer than the canvas so I can fold it around the edges and then I just hot glue it in its place another piece for the top, well maybe I didn't fold it around the edge, I thought I did and actually the hot glue because it's fabric, hot glue sticks the mail to the fabric, it actually stays in place so now I'll see if I folded it or not.
I did it, it bent and I just tightened it with some pliers and now I'm putting the beads on a string and then I'm going to glue The Hanger on and that'll be finished. This is how it turned out. Let me know which of these DIYs was your favorite. Thanks for watching. See you in the next video, bye.
