stores all the supplies you need to make all kinds of beautiful and unique items for your decor or gift, but keeping those items organized can be really challenging and that's why I love the Dollar Tree so much. I've rounded up 18 of my favorite craft storage solutions, all from Dollar Tree, everything follows a path. Things I plan on saying, oh honey, everything I need to do this I got from Dollar Tree, so I started with these. loading plates and then I had this Lazy Susan and I wasn't using it so I decided to use it for my craft cart and I want to make sure that my Lazy Susan is going to be secure so I'm going to use some E6000 glue. and I'm going to put a bunch in the center of the bottom of the charger and then I'm going to put a little bit on the Lazy Susan because I really want to make sure that it's secure and it's not going anywhere, so I put four big tablespoons, I guess they're tablespoons , on the Lazy Susan and then to have the instant bar, I used my hot glue gun and then secured the Lazy Susan to the bottom of the charger like this and lo and behold, it spins.

That's a really good sign, so now to make the paint holders I'm going to use these organizers and they're sometimes hard to find at Dollar Tree, but if you look at where they have the hair accessories, that's where I usually find them. them and I'm going to need four of these organizers for my craft cart. Now I don't know what I'm going to use those lids for. I'll come up with something, but I just need the bottom or largest portion of the acrylic. organizers and then I just played around to see how these organizers fit on the magazine plate and they actually fit really well so I re-applied some E6000 glue and a little extra glue from my hot glue gun and then I just secured them on place and you can see the pattern that I have, so it won't meet in the center, but these will go on the outside edge, so I'm going to put the paint on. and it has three different pockets or shelves and each shelf will hold three 2oz paint containers, the typical paints you use for crafts, so 3*3 is 9*4 is 36, so this will hold 36 paint containers and Once I had the acrylic organizers in place, then I also put some hot glue and E6000 on top.

Now I'm just using a random piece of wood and I'm going to put it on top of those organizers and then I'm going to use a little bit more of the E6000 along with some hot glue and this is what's going to secure the second charger in place, so this will be the center section of the craft cart and then I'll grab one of these handy and stylish Dollar Tree. brush holder and again using E6000. I'm going to secure it on top of the charger and one thing I didn't show you is seeing those little glass containers.

Well, I put them between each of the organizers. Look, you can see it here. before I spray painted and those are going to be like little cubes and I totally spaced that part out but they were glued in place and I used a Jenga block to get them to be at that angle but now I'm I'm going to spray paint this and the paint on spray paint I'm using is Rustoleum cement because I really wanted white, unfortunately I didn't have a can of white spray paint but I did have this cement colored spray paint and I thought the gray would really show through. well so i went ahead and gave the entire cart a good coat of spray paint and i really like doing this because it makes everything look like it's one piece, it doesn't look like it was an afterthought, it looks like i had the intention to do this. so using spray paint can really bring a project together and once it was dry it was time to bring it back to my craft

room

and put all those paints away and I find that having a craft cart like this is very helpful when you are working on a project and you are going to use a lot of different things, like paints or glue guns, glue sticks, scissors, paintbrushes, all kinds of things, this craft cart contains so many different tools that you need to do crafts and when you are done using it . they just put it away, so that's why I really wanted to make an update video for this craft cart and show it to you guys, because I use this a lot and it's very useful, and once I also put all the paints in the organizers.

Like all those little containers filled with glue sticks and stuff, all I had to do was put my brushes in the brush caddy and this is the finished product. This is my amazing craft cart. Guys, this thing is so useful and useful. Awesome and I really think it would be something useful for you in your craft room. Now this one is really fun, so you need all these supplies from the Dollar Tree. I had this scarecrow sign that I wasn't going to use, so he'll be the base for my project, then I found these pen and pencil organizers at Dollar Tree and discovered that they would actually hold 2 ounce bottles of acrylic paint really well, like this I bought 12 of them.
I wish they had done it. they were all the same color but they weren't and then I used some E6000 to secure all these little supports to each other, that was the main step now there is a little border around the edges which makes it a bit difficult to achieve make the glue stick but if you put the E6000 on that little lip it will stick so I put the E6000 around the lip and a little bit on the inside and then added some hot glue for some instant stick and secured all The pencil and pen holders together in this way will be a solid piece.
I also used some clamps from Dollar Tree to hold them in place while they dried, but I was so excited I had to pick it up. above yeah they're all going to stay together so I took my scarecrow base and I'm going to put those brackets on top of the scarecrow base so then I put some E6000 on the base and just did it in the places where I knew the part bottom would come into contact with the base that way. I'm not going to waste the E6000 because it's a little expensive and I like instant adhesive, so I took some hot glue and filled it in. between the places I had the E6000, I moved the entire stand to the base and I really wanted this to look cohesive so I took some hot glue and ran it all over the front of the organizer and used a finger protector.
So I could smooth out the hot glue and not burn my finger, I also added a little hot glue to the back just to reinforce the base and then let it dry completely overnight before moving on to the next step and I have these Dollar signs Tree and they work great for lifting a project off a desk, so I'm not going to paint my desk or my silicone mats and I'm just using a little bit of black paint. This is a traditional relic. All-in-one paint from Traditions. It works very well and you don't see many brush marks, which is why I really like it.
I wanted to see if I could give it a more chrome finish and thought it would be best to paint everything black first and then. I would apply the spray paint now, applying this black paint with a brush takes a little time, but I think it is easier and cheaper to use this type of paint than using spray paint because spray paint is getting very expensive today in day but once it was dry this is what it looked like I took it outside and painted the whole thing with a shiny silver metallic spray paint and here is the finished project oh my gosh look how shiny it is it looks pretty metallic .
Think, super shiny and that's just spray paint on the black paint, so once everything was stained, this was the fun part. I put all my paints in my organizer. This thing is so amazing that it holds so many paintings. I think it has capacity. 64 if I remember correctly so many paintings and they are all organized and luckily this is the perfect size to fit in my closet it was almost like I made it for this space and by putting the paintings in this way I can see the bottom so I can see the color and it keeps the paint up and can you see my little storage organizer?
This is all a shoe storage organizer from Dollar Tree. This thing looks so amazing. eight pockets and hung it in my closet with some nails, this way I can keep different things organized, like spray bottles or things I have for upcoming product projects, so a Dollar Tree shoe organizer is a great organizer for your craft room. I made this amazing pegboard display using a frame and a couple of pegboards that I bought on Amazon but I needed more pegboards so I found them at Dollar Tree and they are $125 each so I bought two of them and they connect . together but they don't connect very well they don't fit which is what I expected they are pretty flimsy but you can line them up what I decided to do was take some glue and I think I got this glue on Teemu it's very similar to the E6000 and I just put a little bit of that on on the raised edge of one of the boards and then on the other board.
The edge that is a little bit recessed I also put a little bit there and then I also put a little bit along the edge where they are going to join and then to help keep these two pegboards together I used a little bit of masking tape and just to give a little extra something to secure the two pegboards so they will be one instead of two and then to make sure everything is nice and secure I used some clamps from Dollar Tree. These things are amazing and this is what the pegboard looks like. I also bought the little extra pieces that you can put it on the back and you literally just line it up and then push it down and they are handy in case you want to hang the pegboard this way.
It also comes with these gel-like adhesive tabs, so I went ahead and put them on. in the back and then I also bought some extra hangers so I have all the hangers and shelves. I really love the shelves you can buy they are $125 each but this way you can keep things close to my workstation when I'm using them for crafts it's really nice if your tools have a home so by using a system like this, all my crafting tools have a home where they live and whenever I return them everything will be organized and I will know where. my tools are what's half the battle now this is a really cool thing it's used to remove nail polish but what I found out is that it also works great for putting alcohol on like isopropyl alcohol.
You can find it in the makeup section at Dollar Tree. you just unscrew the top and then fill it with whatever you want so I like to fill it with isopropyl alcohol that way I can clean things before I stick vinyl on them for my Cricut projects and then you just grab a cotton ball. swab and you just push down on the top and the liquid comes out. It's a wonderful addition to my little craft cart so I always have it there in case I need it for a craft. These little spray bottles are also really nice to have, so I have one of those in my craft cart.
Now, if you're like me, you have a lot of blanks or signs that I bought at Dollar Tree that I will use in the future, but you can see that I have them. I have a lot so I found this over the door hook and it's really pretty. It basically has eight hooks. You simply place it above the door and it creates instant storage. Everything I had I could hang. on these hooks and I can still open the door now they are so pretty they are soda containers for the refrigerator but they also work great for holding craft supplies so I bought a couple of these and then put them on the shelf and then them I filled it with all my large paints that don't fit in my paint storage organizers so this works great for these large bottles of paint and even the larger bottles of acrylic paint that I have and then these small 2 oz bottles of paint With Waverly Chalk, these soda containers really provide a lot of storage space and fit great on my shelves.
Now I'm going to make a shelf that I can put on my bookshelf. That makes sense? So I found these posters at Hobby Lobby. actually and there were 97 of them, then I took a couple of the sign shelves from Dollar Tree and cut them to be the same size, then I used these little wooden bins from Dollar Tree and using a little bit of wood glue from Dollar Tree just I put wood. glue on the container now you have those containers, they come with stars or hearts and different designs, but as long as the containers are the same size, that's the only thing that matters because you won't see those little open areas, but you really want to make sure that they all They are the same size, even if they have the same thing, like stars, they can still be different sizes, so I took those shelves and put two of them on the bottom of those wooden trays, then I took more of the wood glue and I added on top of the wooden tray and then secured two more trays on top of the first tier of trays.
I went ahead and put asome wood glue on the inside and then I grabbed those shelves from Hobby Lobby. babysitter signs and put two on the two wooden traces and once I had them all lined up making sure everything was even or as uniform as possible, I took the two remaining shelf nannies and put them on the top of the second tier of the Then, to keep everything secure and make sure the glue could set, I added some tiles just to give it some weight and once it was dry I used some Waverly chalk paint to paint everything white.
Now if you want you can use spray paint but In my experience when you use spray paint on wood like this it seems to soak into the wood and more spray paint is needed so when using chalk paint or acrylic paint You could probably even use a Kills 2 primer, which is a water-based primer. getting a nice white finish on the shelves and Waverly chalk paint worked great so I painted the top, sides and bottom basically everything and then let it dry and here is the final result oh my goodness I'm very happy with this, isn't it adorable?
He offered three. more shelves than I could use on a shelf, it was actually very easy to make and I think it's a nice addition to offer more storage space on my bookshelf. Next, I wanted to show you how easy it is to make a paint holder using five. stuff from the Dollar Tree, so you need a paper towel holder and four napkin rings and you can find them in the kitchen utensils area, they're usually on a lower shelf. All I did was secure the napkin rings to the paper towel holder and I simply used zip ties that I also purchased at Dollar Tree to secure all of these pieces together.
There are different ways to do this, but I chose to line up my napkin rings along the center of the paper towel holder for the bottom layer. I'm connecting two of the napkin rings, that's what it looks like halfway and for the second tier I simply repeated the process putting the napkin rings on top of the other napkin rings that are already secured in place at the bottom and then I just used my Husky tool to cut all the remaining pieces of the zip ties. I find these Husky tools are much stronger and make it easier to cut than using scissors and here is the finished product and now all I have to do. you place the paints on the rings, each napkin holder will hold seven bottles of paint so we have 7*4 so that's 28 bottles of paint that will fit and it even has a carrying piece built in so I can just put it on.
Back on the shelf and keep my paints organized and out of the way. Now this cutting mat is amazing. It's a really nice cutting mat. It's pretty small, but you can find it at Dollar Tree and if you can afford one of the larger ones. cutting mats, this is a very good first step for $125, you can have a cutting mat and it works just as well as the larger ones. I love all the acrylic organizing pieces you can find at Dollar Tree. There are many uses for this three compartment organizer. but I found that it works great for holding larger brushes that don't fit in the smaller organizers, so all of these brushes are really pretty, but they have huge handles that I can't fit in my regular brush holder, so the acrylic organizers work very good for that and they are very stable, they don't tip over very easily, so with a couple of acrylic organizers I keep my larger brushes neat and organized on a shelf.
Now if you want to create more space you can just buy these mini shelves they are so cute they also work great in your cabinets like in your kitchen but they also work wonderfully in the craft room and then you can find little storage containers like these , they are really cute, they have lockable lids after you use them. I removed the labels from the bottom. I can put whatever I want in these lockable containers. I put the lid on and use the handles to lock the lid in place. Then I just close the lid in place and have everything neat and tidy.
Then I can slide. These little lockable boxes under the shelving of my bookshelf and then I can use these little wooden bins to hold extra supplies, even paint trays and the cabinet shelves really help add extra storage space and make it easier to keep all organized on a shelf. or on a shelf. I just wanted to show you that this was another paint organizer that I made and I think it would have been useful if I had it on a lazy Susan, but again, there were a lot of different ways to create

organization

for paint when I went to the Dollar Tree last week I found these little signs, but there are actually two signs in one package, so for this project I'm going to make another type of paint holder that you can hang on the wall.
It's going to be a painting ladder, so I'm going to use three of those larger signs and then some pieces of wood that I bought at Dollar Tree, so I'm just going to secure the shelves or the rung part of the ladder to my painting ladder and really I could have made it look. like a ladder but I wanted to make sure I had enough space between each of those shelves so using some wood glue on E6000 I started my first shelf at the bottom, now I did this so the edge goes up and literally creates a space to keep the paints or whatever you want on the shelf and then I attached both sides to my shelf and then I decided to cut one of those pieces of wood and use some E6000 and some wood glue and secured it to the bottom Of my ladder, I guess it's kind of a paint rack more than a paint ladder, after that was done I went ahead and put the last paint rack in its place.
I also put a lid on the ladder or my paint shelf and just used another one. piece of wood from the Dollar Tree that I had cut to match and be perfect. I also added some extra support with the extra pieces I had and then used Waverly White Chalk Paint. I just painted everything I painted the inside, the outside, the back, I painted everything with chalk paint and once it was dry I just hung it with some nails and believe it or not, it's actually very sturdy and also gives me Additional storage for additional paints. It was a larger plastic basket I found at Dollar Tree.
I think it's the biggest thing I've ever seen there so I wanted to create some more storage so I have this thick cotton rope that I bought on Amazon and what I'm going to do is wrap it completely around that tub of plastic and I started with the rope at the bottom of the plastic tub and just went all the way up to now the hot glue actually worked great on the low setting and stayed hot for me It allowed me to make large portions of the cover and then just I lowered the rope onto the glue and I simply went higher and higher towards the basket with the rope, now I didn't reach the top.
I had enough rope, I wasn't sure I could make it to the top but I just left a little bit of edge so there was literally about 2 inches left just the plastic container and there's my rope basket so far but I'm not done yet . I found this pillowcase in the

dollar

tree

and I'm turning it over and then I'm going to put it in the plastic tub, but when I turn it over I won't. I'm going to have the seams on the outside and then I just folded it around the top of the tub that way you can't see any of the plastic and I wanted to give this a more finished look so I added a little hot glue to the top right around the edge where the rope stopped and I simply added one more layer of rope, now right in the center of the front of my basket, I left enough room to be able to tie a knot in the rope, so I simply tied a knot.
I think it's called a square knot. I'm wrong please let me know and then I let the extra pieces hang down the front and this rope actually frays very easily so I decided to tie a knot on each hanging end after I did this. I thought you know what would be really nice storage, just to have a basket somewhere. I'm using it in my craft room, but I think it's really pretty and would look great in any type of decor. really easy to do. Have you seen these brush holders at Dollar Tree? These things are amazing and for $125 you have an amazing way to store your brushes so you can see them like this.
This brush holder will hold all of these brushes. I know it's a lot of brushes. I have a problem with brushes, but all those brushes are in the brush holder right now and there is still room to store more brushes and I personally love having the brush holder on top of my cart, it makes it so convenient for save my brushes.
