In this case, there is a large scale police investigation, there are up to 16 lie detector tests that were taken by Travis Walton himself along with the other witnesses and people who were there and you have a group of six sensible guys who actually witnessed the abduction and they stuck to their story and passed every lie detector test and never changed their story in 40 years and you would think at some point they might change their story because they were subject to incredible scrutiny. I mean, it basically derailed

Well, let's delve into history 1975 Travis Walton, who was 22 years old at the time, had earned a reputation as a bad boy in his hometown of Snowflake, Arizona. You know, he rode a loud Harley-Davidson motorcycle around town, he was a wild bull rider and he was a boxer and there was the story of Travis when he was with his friends in a car and they were driving down this road and a bear jumped out of the woods and landed on the middle of the road and was standing there and Travis without hesitation jumps. out of his car and chases this huge bear and sneaks it into the woods and actually chased it into the woods, so Travis was just known as this kind of rebel, you know, a little bit of a problem kid, but his friends they loved he was like one of those cool guys, he just did it his way, so Travis and the other six guys he worked with were loggers, they would give them contracts and they would go out and cut down trees in a certain area that weren't big time, with a huge piece of equipment to do this, we're talking about chainsaws, you know, regular saws and saws and axes, and they would just go out, you know, these workmen are hardworking guys and they would clear areas of trees, that's what they did now.

These seven men did it, they did dangerous work. I mean, you're cutting down these huge trees and you usually work pretty quickly. You know you're operating, you know, chainsaws that are pretty dangerous and Mike Rogers, who was the head of the crew. Who was there on the day of this event? He described in several of his interviews that you know the men he hired to do these jobs, they had to be incredibly down to earth and they didn't strike him as people who had that fantastic persona. Learn the story of the alien encounter on November 5, 1975. Mike Rogers received a contract to clear this huge 1,200-acre plot of land within the Sit Graves National Forest and he grabbed his crew, crammed them into the only pickup truck Mike owned and Mike knew that. this was going to be a really very difficult job, it was a huge area to cover and he told his men up front that we would work very very hard so expect long full days for the first three days of the job, even though they were working, you know, long hours and barely taking breaks, they were behind at the end of this third day, it's already late at night, they worked all day and everyone was totally exhausted, so they finally finished and everyone piled up.

The seven of them get back in Mike's truck and start driving down the driveway back to the main road to head back into town and as they drive, they're not actually talking about work at all, they're joking. about what they are going to do that night and as they drive down the road and again there is a lot of forest, they look to the right and there are some lights in the forest, they said and in the interviews everyone noticed it, but it didn't stand out as something particularly bad, It could just be anything, they weren't thinking about it, but as they were driving down this road and this light, I guess, got brighter or maybe they just couldn't help but notice it, they all started. commenting on this light and they were looking at it and someone suggested that it's probably just the moon, you know it's a full moon, but then one of the guys on the other side of the truck looked over his side away from where he was. there was light and he says no the moon is over here it's on this side of the road so they're okay it's not the moon and then someone suggested oh maybe it's a forest fire maybe we should go check it could be a forest fire. but then Mike Rogers, the driver, the crew chief, says there would be smoke now, there's no smoke or anything, and Travis, who you know, is the guy who jumps out of cars to chase bears and is like a junkie. adrenalin. he says, hey, let's drive there and see what it's like.

I don't know, it could be anything, let's check it out. The guys in the truck were a little nervous about it, but in the end they said, "You know what damage we can do." We'll pass, we know there's a path that takes us to that section of the woods, we'll take a look at whatever this is and then we'll leave, so they drive down this other little access road and come to a clearing where these lights work. and they are amazed by what they see. They were all polygraphed separately about what they saw when they arrived at this clearing.

Each of them described the same thing in slightly different details because that's from their own perspective and the polygraph tests showed that they were telling the truth, they saw this disk shaped ship with what looked like panels of lights on the bottom floating in a clearing about 50 or 100 feet off the ground without turning or anything just floating in the air as if suspended and the men in their In later interviews on television shows and books, they would say that what caught their attention was not just the that there was this ship here, but how strange it was to see this thing defying gravity, not moving, but floating in the air and right in front of us. us and one of the men even commented at length not because he actually built houses and was a bird, he's a handy guy and started talking about the structural framework of this ship, he could see that there was some really impressive engineering at the bottom of this ship was just a beautiful machine and they're looking at it and Travis is so excited when they come to this clearing that he doesn't know what he's looking at, but it's a lot like the bear jumping out and chasing the bear as soon as they almost stopped in this clearing. right next to the ship, he jumped out of the car, no one else is just Travis and started walking a little away from the car towards this ship, the ship is not moving.

The ship is maybe from where they parked, maybe 50 or a hundred feet away from them and then 50 or 100 feet in the air and the crew doesn't say anything, they're just dumbfounded by what they're looking at. Travis is also shocked, but he was walking towards the ship and he would say in an interview that he was scared but he was mostly curious, he knew he was looking at something that no one knew was some kind of ship, they didn't know what it was, but it was fascinating to him and he kept walking closer and closer to it and when the crew came out of their initial shock at seeing this unidentified flying object in the sky, they started yelling at Travis to come back, they had a bad feeling that something was going to happen. and they thought you shouldn't go near it, like come back, not to mention it's floating in the air, what if it falls and lands on you like Kate Travis?

He comes back here and then it was like one time a person started screaming. for Travis to come back, they all did and Travis remembered hearing them yell at him to get back in the car, but he's not really paying attention, he keeps walking and finally stops, he's just looking at him and Travis would say he just got hit. at the beauty of the underside of this ship with all these different light panels built into it, it was this incredible piece of machinery and he's looking at it and all of a sudden it starts spinning a little bit and it starts emitting this. noise that everyone reported hearing this loud mechanical sound and now the crew's screams are getting louder and Travis was saying that he knew we had to turn around and go back, but he just wanted to watch for a few more seconds. and he was about to turn around and go back to the truck when suddenly a beam of light comes out and hits

like a lightning bolt and the whole team saw this happen, he goes flying 20 feet away like he was lifted off the ground and they threw him 20 feet and saw it happen again in all his polygraph tests, they all said the same thing, they all passed, he was hit by a beam of light from this UFO, not 220 feet away, Mike Rogers, panicking , along with everyone else on The Team just decided to leave and are

We just saw him get shot by something we don't know about. what is that and they're scared they don't even know what they saw they're crying they're hysterical these are their own men absolutely terrified and they're driving around for a bit until finally mike hits the brakes and stops and mike says we have to go back for him he said That you guys want to stay here and wait for me, that's fine, but this truck is coming back to get Travis, so the idea came up to wait outside afterwards.

Seeing what they had just seen was even worse than going back, they wanted to stay together, so a little but reluctantly, even though they knew they needed it, they all got back into the truck, turned around and started driving back to the UFO site as they watched it. they achieved. As they back up they realize there are no lights on, you know the ship is gone and Travis is gone and they walk out and now Mike is crying uncontrollably because he feels like they just abandoned him and where did he go? Everyone else is shocked. I can't believe it they started screaming for Travis.

They are running through the woods screaming for Travis looking for signs of Travis. They don't really know what happened, but they know Travis isn't here and after a while of searching, it's like we had to tell the police and they knew it was going to be bad for them when they told the police that story. is that a UFO came and shot Travis and now it's gone, that doesn't sit well with the police, but they knew because they wanted to find Travis and they were very worried about their friend, they knew they had to tell the police.

Mike and some of the team just couldn't think that they were crying, they were upset, and finally they reached a pay phone for the first payment. on the phone they saw this in 1975 and Ken Peterson, who was a very simple and practical guy, you know, just married, you know, a very simple guy, a very sensible guy, decides to call the police because he's the only one who, I guess, was serene. enough to do it when someone calls the Sheriff's Department and says you have to come here. You know we can't find our friend Travis Walton. We'll have to describe it to you when you arrive because I'm trying to do it over the phone.

It won't do him justice, but he left and we don't know where he went, so shortly after Sheriff Marlon Gillespie and Ken Kopplin, his partners, show up at a rest stop where this pay phone was and they arrive on the scene and see Ken . Peterson, who called them and said, "Okay, tell us what's going on." The crew now exited the truck. They sure seemed distraught and Ken starts trying to describe what happened, but he didn't say UFO. he hasn't said aliens, he just said: you know we were at the logging site on a contract there and then you know it's hard todescribe and Mike Rogers jumps in and says we saw a UFO and a beam of light hit Travis. and then he disappeared and the sheriff was looking at them like they really pulled them over. and we're like okay, I need to search their truck to make sure they're not under the influence of something and they say we haven't done anything, we haven't been working all day, it begins. nothing, they check each one of them to see if they are sober and in their field test they show that they were all sober and Sheriff Gillespie, who was the sheriff in general charge even though he was a total skeptic, as was the sheriff Koplin.

He would say about that first meeting with the six crew members that they were obviously shocked by something that had happened, they don't know what it was but they were shocked and what Sheriff Gillespie believed was that they were creating hoaxes to cover up. he made up a real crime, he believed that they had hurt Travis Walton and were using a UFO to cover it up, but he also thought to himself that this was a bad hoax, it wasn't very well planned, they don't really have their stories. lined up particularly well they're not doing a good job of explaining it the only thing they're doing well is acting scared a couple of hours later the sun started coming up very late when all this happened and Sheriff Gillespie and Sheriff Copeland have organized this great effort of search in the woods where Travis had gone missing and the crew members are all there and a group of volunteers showed up too, they are scouring the area, I mean they brought out dogs, they have these huge teams searching everywhere and they can't think of nothing, I mean, they're searching everywhere, there's no sign, there's nothing, there's nothing of Travis, and while all this is going on, Sheriff Coplin and Sheriff Gillespie have started closing in on Mike Rogers and the rest of the team. and to be Hey, if you tell us where Travis Walton's body is, we'll go easy on you, like we know you did it and you can feel that the pressure is really building and you can't find Travis even though you didn't.

Do anything according to their story, they will face serious repercussions because that's how the world works. You can't say aliens did this and they can't blame you because there is no proof. They only have their own eyewitness testimony. That's it and the team has started to worry a lot about what's going to happen. They're worried about Travis, of course, but they're starting to see that they're going to be prosecuted for this unless they find Travis and then. Everyone is very stressed and they realize during the search on this first day of searching that these three guys who were wearing red jackets had these tools that scanned the ground almost like a metal detector and Mike Rogers was hoping that during this investigation they would have come out. people who were like paranormal investigators.

I guess maybe he was naïve to think that the police would actually do that, but he thought that you know, given the fact that we've all said that this is a UFO that killed Travis, who then disappeared, that they would. He has at least one person who represents the kind of paranormal side of the investigation and he sees these guys in red with their special tools that look like a metal detector and his instinct tells him that they are paranormal investigators and then Mike approaches them . and he says: hey, what are these tools that you guys are doing?

What is this? They look at him and say, "Well, this radiation test, we're scanning the radiation in the area" and he asked what group he's in. guys, if you would do it with the Sheriff's Department, they just didn't answer him, they said oh you know, we're just checking for radiation in the area, that's exactly what we do and Mike sees an opportunity because when that ship gave out that light ray. that finally blew Travis Walton 20 feet and then you vaporized him or something, they were within range of that big ball of lightning and they were in the kind of cone where there was radiation coming out of that ship, he believed that maybe they would have been hit with that, so we asked the guys in the red jackets who were there with their little radiation tools to scan the jackets and the bodies of the crew to see if they were radioactive and then the crew came over and they scanned them and there's no nothing. there are no traces of radioactivity, they say no, there is nothing and then Mike realizes that from the time they called the sheriff until the search, the entire crew went home and changed, then they went out to do the search , so we thought, so you know that any of the radioactive materials would have been on our clothing, which is not here, but we have our helmets in the back of the truck and we were here the whole time, they were potentially exposed to whatever it was that there was from the boat.

Can you try them? Then he brought one of his helmets and the guy in red scans his helmet and the ticker goes completely radioactive and the guy in red looks at Mike and can look at the helmet he's scanning. and he's looking at him like he's trying to size him up and then he makes some kind of gesture to the other two in red and tells him to stop what they're doing and they come over and they're scanning the helmets while well, and then, without any indication of what the results were, what this meant because Mike is waiting to be told what's going to happen, the guys in red just turn around and say "ok" and they just start walking away and Mike says "let's do it" .

Wait, what does this mean? They don't turn around and just walk away from the search site, so the other team is watching this happen too and Mike and the team are trying to try and get them to come back, but... They don't turn around, they just walk away and then they leave, so Mike approaches the sheriff, who they know, the sheriff thinks they took them, they did something to Travis, these aren't his friends, but they thought we had to ask them who. Those guys in red work, so they go up to Sheriff Gillespie and say, "Hey, who are those guys in the red jackets with the radio with the radiation detectors and the sheriff plus B like who, there's no one here looking for radiation?" "I, everyone who is here is here." because I ordered them to be here, who are they, where are they and he said they just walked over there, turned the corner and Sheriff Busby said, well, I didn't order them there and it would turn out that they couldn't locate these three people, nobody knew who they were Mike went around and asked anyone who looked like an authority figure if they knew who these people were, they asked the people who interacted with them and no one knew after the search. for a couple of days nothing shows up, no sign of Travis, the town of Snowflake Arizona really turned on the six crew members, everyone believed they had done something to Travis, you know this UFO thing was a hoax and they harmed Travis and they were using this as a cover up in the sheriff's department they really perpetuated that they were quite open about this is not a UFO situation this is not an alien abduction this is a missing persons case and frankly we believe that UFO is a national hoax and the international media picked up this story and it became a massively viral story around the world and the media is converging on the Arizona snowflake and flooding the Sheriff's Department with requests for more information. about this alien abduction and it's really frustrating two sheriffs that are leading this investigation, Sheriff Gillespie and Sheriff Kopplin, and they were already skeptical and really upset that they felt like they were being taken advantage of by these crew members.

This deception, right? I said what they thought it was and that's what Sheriff Gillespie and Copland decided. Know? We're going to cut through all the nonsense here and we're going to make these kids take a lie detector test so they can go out and get one of the best polygraph examiners in the country to come and administer a test to them. lie detector test on each of the six crew members and, one by one, over the course of the day, each crew member was tested for two hours, the same questions, all focused on the criminal side, to kind of a foul play angle for Travis Walton everyone goes I looked into it and it turned out that five of the six had proven they were telling the truth and the sixth person was just inconclusive, it didn't mean he was lying it just meant the proof wasn't was done very well and this polygraph examiner had a 92 to 98 percent accuracy rate, he was one of the best in the country and he even said it would be so hard to fake it that to have five people say this is all a big hoax and they harm Travis Walton, it would be almost impossible for five people to pass my exam and for no one to make a mistake - they were telling the truth, so the examiner tells the sheriff and the sheriff is.

Sheriff Gillespie is shocked because he thought they were I'm going to find out that they were all lying and that this could just be a pure criminal investigation and it would be going to find Travis Walton's body, but now the examiner says that they are telling the truth and then Detective Gillespie and his partner are as they are now. What do we do? And then, five days after Travis disappears, Travis reappears during numerous interviews. They saw in the forest that he looked the same as his vision wasn't very good but he's looking up and he's pretty sure that's what he's looking at and then he flies up into the sky and disappears leaving him in complete darkness in a I walk somewhere. He doesn't know and he remembers waking up and feeling very weak and exhausted and dehydrated and he just knew that he had to get to civilization, he had to go in a direction and find someone who could help him because he was very weak and he would die out there if he didn't.

He will find someone who could help him, so he gathers the strength to stand up and begins to stagger down the road and finally, through adrenaline, he begins to run and luckily sees what is ahead. a rest stop and at the rest stops there are pay phones and he gets out and goes to the pay phone and has change in his pocket, but he puts it on the pay phone and ends up calling his brother and his brother if he can. I don't think he's talking to Travis because Travis is probably supposed to be dead at this point.

I didn't think it was Travis. Travis just told him over and over again. It's me. They brought me back and tells him where he is because now. he recognizes that this rest stop is actually in snowflake arizona when his brother picks him up

was saying he thought this was just a few minutes after you knew about the initial abduction he didn't even know he was kidnapped this is like If I was coming to and he's like, man, what happened, like I was in that clearing where I saw this ship and now I'm here, like, what am I doing here?

So Travis, his brother, is looking at him, like, where have you been? Know? I've been really worried about you for the last few days and Travis was almost catatonic, you know, he's in shock, he doesn't know what's going on, he looks at his brother and he's stunned and his brothers like you. I've been missing for five days, so Travis would say that when he heard this news, this revelation that he had been missing for five days left him absolutely shocked, he was in a catatonic state where he just couldn't find him. sense. and then he just sat there in silence and his brothers liked to look at him, they weren't really sure they would even ask.

He asked a couple times what happened and Travis just didn't answer because he didn't know that he couldn't, he couldn't explain it. and then Travis's brother decides, instead of immediately calling the police, I want to take you to a hospital because clearly that has to happen frankly with the media circus as soon as they find out you're back it's going to be chaos and I want to make sure They take care of you first, so he drives to Phoenix, Arizona, takes him to a hospital and asked the doctors to be discreet and he also did an exam.

The doctor knew who Travis Walton was because even after the news. and he's doing an exam on Travis and you know he was malnourished and he was tired and he looked very sick but there were no physical injuries with the exception of a bump at the puncture site on his arm and on the crook of his arm. Travis was not a drug user. so it wasn't like it was a mark from drug use, it was a puncture site and they assumed that someone had recently put a needle in his arm and also the doctor drug tested him and did a blood test and there were no drugs in his system, it was not like he had been using any kind of substance, so he was in a clear state of health: the injection site looked quite deteriorated, so after theexam, Travis's brother brings him back to his house in Phoenix, Arizona, as soon as they return, his home phone receives constant calls, he had arrived at the Sheriff's Department in Arizona and they called Travis's brother non-stop like Hey, we heard his back, we have to talk to him, we have to talk.

He Jericho SP drives to Phoenix, comes in and sits down to talk to Travis and Sheriff Cholesky was saying that Travis seemed to be in shock, he looked like he had been through something traumatic, he didn't seem like he was acting and starts asking Travis what happened and Travis mentions the UFO he mentioned seeing this thing in a clearing, you know he gets hit by a light, he doesn't know what it was and then you know he's on the road five days later and he can't really understand what happened, he just didn't really know what It happened over the five days and finally Sheriff Gillespie just gave up and said, well, we have no way to arrest him.

We have no proof of anything so we decide we'll get in touch and he comes back and then the media starts showing up. A huge news truck begins to appear outside. Everyone found out because there was a big story he was in and everyone wanted answers. They finally contacted the National Enquirer and said, hey, if you tell us an exclusive story, if Travis tells us about what happened to him, we'll get you out of here, we'll take you somewhere private and we'll even pay. to put Travis through a whole series of tests that aren't normally done to see if they could figure out what had happened to him, so they agree to go with the National Enquirer for when he's actually sitting there watching the National Enquirer.

He's had a little bit of time to maybe let his memory go back to what had happened and he's having these memory flashes of what happened during those five days because initially all he could remember was seeing the ship and then being in it. He walks five days later and when he sits down with the people from the National Enquirer he begins to remember what really happened during those five days and this is what he said happened, he said he remembers getting out of the truck and walking to this boat and he remembers that the Members of his crew were yelling at him to come back, he knew they were yelling at him to come back, he just wanted to look at the ship a little longer and then just as he was about to turn around and go back, the ship started moving.

There's this loud kind of creepy mechanical sound going on and before he had a chance to run back, he gets hit by lightning of some kind and then he remembers that he was in the presence of some doctors and saw a mass of white lab coats and facial coverings. . and he's kind of drifting in and out of consciousness and you know, there's an orange light around him, but he definitely sees what looks like medical professionals and he's thinking to himself, whatever happened to that ship, it must have hurt me. to me and my crew. He picked me up and took me to the hospital and, in his ounce state, he is aware that he is surrounded by medical professionals, at least what he believes our medical professionals are and at some point his vision clears, he moves out of the fog and is inside and He's quite lucid and looks down at his chest and there's a rectangular box on his chest that he didn't recognize, he didn't recognize, it didn't really look like modern medical equipment, it just looked like that, almost like a rock. on his chest and he looks at that and then he looks at one of the people wearing a mask who is working with him, one of the medical professionals and this person is working on this box and then the person looks at Travis Walton and then he leans in to look even closer at Travis Walton and Travis is horrified, it was this grayish, thin, narrow-headed figure, who was very short, about four feet tall, who was looking at him and his eyes were like slits and he was looking at Travis and Travis, who is incredibly scared, at this point he pushes everything and rips out all the wires that are connected to it, he will fall off the table he was on and realizes that he is in a fairly small room and there are three of these humanoid creatures in the room. with him and grabs the biggest instrument you can see next to the table he was lying on, he didn't know what it was and starts waving it wildly and yelling at Lima like get away from me and he's trying to make sense of what he's looking at. and the three figures and the laboratory codes begin to walk closer and closer to him and simply look at him trying to study him a little, they reach him. and he's waving and he's about to hit one of them when they suddenly turn around and walk out of the room leaving him alone in this kind of exam room and as soon as they leave he sees them walk down the door a little bit. . down the small hallway and they turn left and he's practically paralyzed with fear, but he knows that if he can't get out of this room, he's done for and he finally pulls himself together and walks past the exam table and down the hallway. . hallway outside the door and instead of going left the way they went, he sneaks to the right and starts walking and he comes to another room and it's a room that has just one chair, it's this tiny little room with a chair and the chair moves away from him, he starts to look around the chair and sees that there is no one sitting there, so he stands in front of the chair and is like touching the wall looking for a door handle or any type of mechanism that can open .

He took him out of this room and said that the room was like this, perfectly flat, everything was flat and smooth, there were no handles on the doors, he couldn't find a way out and finally he sees on the chair that it looks like there are some buttons. in the chair, he presses all these buttons on the chair and nothing happens and then at the door where he came in, suddenly a person appears in the door, a man wearing what looks like a space suit like an astronaut suit and Travis is immediately relieved. even though the strange thing about him being in an astronaut suit is quite high, but it's like he's a human and he doesn't know what to think about the fact that he's now excited to see a human, like it's terrifying that you were just around these non-humans but he's like in panic mode now he sees another human being and runs up to him and says please you have to help me I don't know where I am do you know where we are what is this what's happening and he realizes that The eyes of this person inside the space suit is a man who at least looks like a man but his eyes are distant, he is not making eye contact with Travis, it is like he is in a trance and he said his eyes just seemed dull.

They opened the store and went down to a huge hangar where there are all these spaceships that look like the one he saw in the clearing that Travis saw in the clearing and they started walking down between all these spaceships that were just floating like they were floating. in the woods apparently capable of defying gravity and the whole time this guy in the space suit didn't say anything and Travis is like what is this what are these ships is this military man who doesn't say anything they walk to the other side of the hangar and open another They open the door and enter another bright white room and there are three more human-like people with the strange me.

I think about what happens with space suits who are standing next to another medical table and they don't look at Travis but they point, their bodies point in the direction of the door he entered by Travis walks in and sees these three and he thinks these people are here to save me again.
