New Toyota Land Cruiser ULTIMATE review!

Apr 20, 2024
This is the new Toyota Land Cruiser l250 and in this video I'm going to find out exactly how hard who is, come on. I'll use it to intimidate the assistant chief engineer. Thank you. I'm also going. to drive it around town and annoy some locals, what do you think of it? I'll launch it to see how fast it is from under 60 MPH and show you what good it has, oh it looks beautiful, what it doesn't have so good. I honestly haven't been talking to Shap and of course I'm going to tell you about the exterior and interior and see how practical he is.

I'm Watson now. You are watching carwow. Let's start this video by talking about the design of the new Toyota Land Cruiser. They've gone for a boxy, beefy look, a bit like a Suzuki jimy and a G wagon. I really like it, square in the back. Square taillights. The huge flat rear window should give you good visibility of the rear wood. Apparently a big Toyota logo on the back. says thick Land Cruiser bumpers and don't mess around with fake EX exhaust pipes look at this this is so old school this exhaust ok let's go down the side so the wheel sizes start at 18 and go up to 20 , we have this bold crease along the side once again to make it look huge and square Windows should provide a good view out, sturdy roof bars, running boards, two-tone door handles, huge, thick square outside mirrors, Kinda very utilitarian in a cool way.

I love the front, like the grill design once again with a Toyota Logo, just like the classic Land Cruisers, called D lights, yes, I like it a lot. The big, flat hood also looks like a tough car. Toyota hasn't confirmed the price yet, but I think it will start between 55 and 60,000. It's worth it? here on the interior it has a cool thick Dash design, soft materials on the soft synthetic leather upper here things get a little rough and cheap there, although these areas are padded so that when you are off road and not Now don't bang your knees on them, some of the materials down here feel a little cheaper and come down here in the door bins, but the window ledges are smooth, which is helpful because that's where you put the arms when you are driving. and this is quite nice, soft and flexible for the elbows.

One of the things I really like is that Toyota refrained from putting too many controls on the touchscreen. Everything is handled practically through normal buttons, they have been designed to be large enough. and thick enough that you can wear them when wearing gloves. I don't have gloves with me, so I'll do it like this. Look, I can operate my heated seat pretty easily. I can control the climate temperature the fan I can turn the select mode there no problem I can operate the high and low range gearbox selector there I can turn the audio knob there I can operate everything with my strange jump glove anyway the infotainment system is pretty decent this one is working apple carplay right now obviously you have android auto both are wireless and im using a special off road map so if you don't want to use normal google maps or SA na auto you can get the app special. which will actually give you certain routes and off-road tracks that you don't have with Google mapping.

You have a digital driving display with a lot of information and you can slide through different modes and views and it will show things like the angle of your car on approach, departure and all that kind of stuff too it's quite refreshing here with all the buttons I mean , just look, look at the buttons and more, if you give me this camera, you can see the look buttons and let me show you this. a huge rear view mirror hello very very practical the driving position is also good so this one has electric seats and an electrically operated steering column which looks very very premium the leather you get in this particular car does not It feels so expensive, but it's okay, but the seats themselves are nice and comfortable in terms of practicality, the door bins are the right size and there's like front, rear and some storage down here and if you hear this cor box just turn it off because it makes a little noise you have cup holders there wireless charging there and they don't skimp on the USB connectivity look one two 3 and you have HDMI look what's here is the glove box is the package full, let's take everything out of it, look what we have here, oh, far away, fire extinguisher, so there's not much room there because of that far away fire extinguisher.
Now let's look at the huge parasol you have at hand. This material on the sun visor isn't particularly good and the headliner feels a bit cheap, that's really my only complaint here on the front, let me check one thing, yes all those switches feel well cushioned, that's good and we have paddles shift gear for the gearbox which I will probably never use here in in the back seats there is not much space but there is enough space to lock my knees okay and this seat is in my usual driving position. Headroom, people over 6 feet will have no problem.
This window has nice, low ledges so you have a great view. There are also some pockets in the seat backs for storage and the door bins here are a reasonable size. Rear window test, go all the way down, yeah baby that's a win for me, even though it's not. Expos cap holder. I always hate that, I wish. just have a cover for them, this is good, although no, it is not. I was going to show you how I had, like, um, this would fall over during loading, but it doesn't work, ah, well, anyway, now if you need to carry three people in the back right away, this middle seat is a little bit more tall and a little less comfortable and this huge transmission tunnel means you have to sit with your legs spread, but there is enough headroom here in the middle, another thing I like.
Are these eyes fixed? Anger points. Once you lift this up, it's very easy to get to, although you'll notice that the rear doors don't open as much, so it will be a little more difficult to maneuver a baby seat in the back. We have climate control there, we download two USBs here and the old school 12 volt one. Now this is a 5 seat version, but you can get a 7 seat version, so I'll show you how to get in the back now while you pull. this forward like this oops just get this out of there right now the seat is in that position I can electrically push the rear seats up I really like the mechanism for this look the way the base folds out is actually very nice come on oh yes satisfying, what's less satisfying is that you absolutely have to fold this seat forward to be able to lift it up otherwise it just doesn't work, there are switches in the rear boot so now you can do it from the back too.
I'm going to get this out of the way, bear with me, let me put that one in too. Oh, I have to keep my finger on it, which is annoying, frustrating, that's what I'm going to know is pulling the seat in front of me. I go back down so you can see exactly how much room there is or isn't here in the back okay here we go then pull this come on oh right and whoever's sitting there will want to lean back a little bit so this It's ok for knee room, the problem is that I'm sitting pretty close to the floor, there's no support under the thighs, it's a bit like I'm in a stress position, it could be a bit better if I had to move here to do this. there we go and back to the headrooms a little tight, but it's doable back here.
I don't think it's completely terrible. You also have some decent sized rear windows and what else we have here I can move. There is a button. here that suggests I can move the seat back and forth what does it do oh hi oh hi what am I learning as I go this one doesn't work this one works that's weird if it works on both sides I would say this is a pretty cool feature. I think it's okay here on the back and look, I have some USB C, but it's not bad. The boot capacity of this new title Land Cruiser is 48L, which doesn't sound that big. and I'm not sure about that number because when you look at it it looks much bigger than that, maybe it's for the seven seater version with the seven seats in place.
I don't know because it seems like a huge usable trunk space. A little annoying is this so when you're carrying stuff in and out you end up kind of banging your leg there, but other than that it's pretty easy to slide things in and out obviously we've got all our K here right now . I want to show you down here, there's not much, just a few little areas there and you can see it's designed to be available as a seven seater because it's got cup holders back here and USB SE there, but we just don't have the back. most of the seats in this particular car what we do have is a 220 Vol 100 W accessory plug if you want to fall out of these back seats you have to lean back it's quite a bit and then do this come on damn I'm only going to have to walk , come on, oh, there's another lever right down here that I can operate it with, there we go, oh oh oh, this is frustrating, bear with me and there you go, and it's kind of an old school drop, uh, seats of the middle and I got hurt. hand when making that flow and that brings up five annoying things about this new Land Cruiser: There's a small gap between the steering wheel arch and the door panel, can you see?
That means if you drive through mud puddles, the spray can get into that space and end up on this piece of trim and then if you're just dealing with something like that inside the car, you're going to end up leaning against it and getting your pants dirty, right? how I know? That's how I know honestly. I haven't been out in the countryside just fucking sheep, that's not why that mess is there. I haven't been fucking myself. You can get this car with an optional panoramic glass roof, which is nice, however I can't seem to open it. the blind without opening the roof I'm going to press this to open the blind and open the roof why are you opening the roof it's great that it opens but now if I just want the roof Shir with the blind then after not doing it's not that button is this here we go we'll put it back right and then we'll close the blind that's the blind button but it's not I don't know what's going on that seems to be the wrong button now I'm closing the blind with that, everything is a little bit Confusing now, this could be because this is a prototype car so they haven't set it up fully.
I don't know, I hope it's a little annoying, does it look like this? If I press that one it does that it just opens the blind, look, that one says it's going to open the roof, but this one opens the blind, okay, it's definitely because it's the prototype. Other than that, I like the features of having this big glass roof that you can open. I don't know what's up with Toyota and the fact that they don't like the fuel caps to unlock automatically, look at the doors open, so walk up and open it, now you have to get in here, pull this thing there and then we're.
Well yes, the heated seats in this car don't get very hot, for example a maximum of three bars is essentially one bar and in almost any other car the lowered cover is nice and easy to remove. The problem is that there is no space to store it under the false floor. looks good, that means oh no luckily this car has a lot of cool features to help make up for all this, the rear window opens separately from the tailgate, now you might think that like other vehicles there is a little button what you press behind here, but there's no button, it's actually here to open it and you might think that's a bit silly, right?
But you don't see it in a lot of the cars, as they get older, that button actually activates because the water gets in there, the connection. it breaks and if you have the button there you have to remove this whole assembly to get to it, believe me I have an old Porsche K which was a problem that took a long time to fix and was a pretty expensive fix which means if that button breaks it down you just have to remove that part much easier and it looks really useful you can just put things in and then the torsional rigidity of the ladder frame chassis of this car increases by 50% over the old Toyota Land Cruiser, now it have achieved using 11.9 M of structural adhesive plus 84 individual spot welds.
They actually use a big bench of robots to do the welding which seems so sci-fi that you have a proper spare tire and it's hanging under the car instead of inside the trunk so it doesn't get eaten up. In the interior space, this car has proper off-road technology, so it has a switchable low range gearbox. We also have a center locking differential. You can get it with a rear locking differential. It also has a front stabilizer bar that you can detach for better chassis articulation when driving Offroad and it has a special cruise control forcrawling on rocks, so you press this button and the car moves at a very slow pace automatically.
You can also use it for heel descent control, but you can also use heel descent control in high range mode and you can increase the speed by toggling this D. Here you can control it downhill up to 30 mph, which is crazy. You can get it in this amazing sand color. a white roof I think it looks absolutely brilliant on this part. Such a cool looking vehicle. There is only one engine available with this new Toyota Land Cruiser. It is a 2.8 L 4-cylinder turbodiesel with 204 horsepower and 500 NT M of torque to which it is mated. an 8-speed automatic gearbox with permanent four-wheel drive, there will be a mild hybrid version later with 48v capacity.
I don't really know anything about that because Toyota hasn't said anything. land

. This is the kind of place for a vehicle like this, because when you're heading into the high

land

s, you're going to need that all-wheel drive off-road capability, but how can it handle when you're just driving around town? Well, it's pretty easy, the visibility is really good, so the dash is pretty low. so the forward view moves really well, the huge door moves, look at the size of those, I can see the whole world in them, yeah the back is pretty good and the window line is pretty low.
One thing I just need to check is the turning circle. Interestingly the turning circle on this one is 12.8M which is a bit bigger than the old pra so can I make it round? I'm already bothering people, there aren't many people around, they're impatient and I have to go. Getting onto the curb now is still a better turning circle than a Land Rover Defender, but it's not as good as a Jeep Wrangler and if you click on the pop-up banner there, follow the QR code that appears on the screen, now you can see my full video.

of that car, which is one of the best things about having a capable off-roader like this, I broke some rules by getting on the curb and failed my driving test, but you can help it, in fact this steering is really good. and light because for the first time the Land Cruiser has electric power steering, so people might complain that electric power steering systems don't have as much feel, but it doesn't matter in a 4x4, there is something else I want to experience and see when you go slowly, you turn on the surround view cameras, which is very useful when navigating tight spaces, you don't want to scratch your body, you work on things, look, look, look, it will keep me safe, it's actually very good, too I can see underneath exactly where my wheels go, which is obviously more useful off-road, but still has a benefit here in the city.
I have a feeling this is one way, but let's dodge the bus. getting into trouble here, that's one of the things about a vehicle like this, it gives you a total sense of security that you're almost invincible like Hux as you drive down the road. Now one thing to note because this car is built like a traditional 4x4 with a separate ladder frame chassis, you always get that slightly agricultural feel in the way the car handles over bumps, moves a little and It moves, it's not terrible, this car has an independent Wishbone suspension in the front, although there is a rigid axle in the rear let's take a look and find out what some locals think about this car hello hello you're right I'm so angry how she does I'm fine thanks I have a new car it's a new Toyota, what do you think of it?
It's charming. You see a lot of Land Rovers around here. What do you think of this compared to a Land Rover? I have no idea, you have no idea, it looks spectacular, it would be good for what we're doing today, I mean, it's pretty practical, but honestly, well, okay, bye, just annoys random people, like I was saying . When you compare this to something like an SUV like a BMW X5, it just doesn't feel as comfortable. you go down the road and it doesn't feel as comfortable as a Land Rover Defender that doesn't have an old school ladder frame chassis, it has a monocoque, but overall you know it's still comfortable enough and we'll see exactly how. capable, it's off-road in a minute, I like the way it appears every time you start slowing down, see how close I can get to them, amaze it, ah, it breaks automatically because it thought I was going to crash, it has all the SA systems.
There are so many Land Rovers around here, this is the kind of place where people have four wheel drive vehicles everywhere, whether old or a little more modern, that seem to be trashed, oh dear, maybe the air suspensions They failed, that's a Toyota Land thing. Cruiser has a better reputation for being able to not only take you to the desert but also bring you back oh look Suzuki Jimy, now we are heading towards the highlands, I mean look at these absolutely beautiful views, this is the river. D we see how this thing Co on slightly faster roads makes me firm, there is actually a lot of talk about this engine, but it still has a slightly agricultural feel, a bit grunty when you compare it to the smoothest 6 cylinder diesel you can get .
No, a Defender with a land driver is not as nice as the six cylinders that you can get in German SUVs, that is one of the problems you have with a 4-cylinder diesel, especially one with a slightly larger capacity, they can be a little noisy. The new 8 speed automatic transmission is fine, although it starts up pretty quick, responds pretty well, handling is actually pretty good you know, cornering well, a little bit of body lean, but it feels pretty well rounded and is definitely better than the tall appearance he has. In front of me you can hear the diesel, can't you hear?
That's the only thing that bothers CU a little other than it feels comfortable in terms of the seat, the suspension is okay just a little now and then and there's not too much wind or road noise I thought. There would be a lot of wind noise coming from those huge outside mirrors, but the radar worked, so it doesn't let me get too close to the car in front. We have the lane keep assist there, it's on now, I don't know if it's on. I'm going to be able to do this, I have no chance to say that this thing actually drives very well.
I'm impressed. Oh, here we go as the speed increases. I'm getting a little bit of wind noise around those big mirrors, but it's not too much. Wrong, of course, that's the end of the road section. Let's do some off-roading. Now we're going to start steadily down a trail and then we're going to ramp it up and Watch this thing get covered in some Scottish mud a few moments later, so we forgot to do something very key: we need to launch this car, so We got to this damn track and now I have to reverse all the steps.
The way back, this reversing camera is very good. I remember looking over my shoulder in the past and you could actually do it this way. I wonder if this is better. I can actually see out the back window, but that's not really the case. I don't think I'm that good, no I don't trust that, I think all those years of playing computer games as a kid have played because I can do this without any problem, look dad, you were wrong, it wasn't a waste. of time I just hope no one comes in another direction is that the edge of a cliff feels like it could be the edge of a cliff but it's not it's just a weird distortion there you might want to look at Louis because if I make a mistake calculation here we could both die.
Does it just look like a road? I think it's just the camera. No? It looks like it's the edge of a cliff. Yes, that scares me. This Land Cruiser is so new that Toyota. I actually haven't homologated it yet, which means there's no official time that won't hit 60 MPH, so I'll do it with my specialized timing gear, here we go, brake booster, come on, come on, it's not fast and here we go, 10.09 seconds. Actually okay, that's considering what this car is designed for, anyway, there you go, no need to homologate it, now I've done the work for you, you're welcome, now let's do a brake test from 60m by hour, anything below 35 m. okay, ah, 36 M, damn, okay, let's assume it's a big, heavy truck, right, we pull off the road again and this seems like the perfect terrain to see what this vehicle is like when it goes into Rally mode.
Toyota is all about rallying, isn't it? This is where you're happy to have a Toyota because you know it's pretty hard to deal with some abuse. Oh wait, who wait, who, who, who, who, no, no, no, we don't want you. Come on, we have a special off-road satellite navigation system. I think we still want to go straight. Come on. No, we're done with that. No, don't enter a pillar. Ready. Come on, no, what, stop, that's it, yeah, so this app. It can just guide you on off-road tracks, it's just not the smoothest system in the world as you can see, but it's fun to climb here, the suspension handles it very well, actually, who, wo, wo, the mud was dragging it?
Now Toyota has four of these Land Cruisers for international launch and they've told us we have to bring them back in one piece. As you can see, I'm taking special care of this car. I can't see it, I can see it. efficient windshield wipers that's what I like almost no smearing this is a lot of fun this is the kind of off-roader I like slow crawling things can be a bit boring but this is Mega wa whoa sorry Louis I want to go oh we We're here, classic, sorry, so now we're about to embark on a little more extreme off-roading.
I'll stop and go into off-road mode and I can select the different modes between dirt, sand, mud, deep snow. Yeah, let's go for the dirt, put this in neutral, turn it down. Now I'm in low-range four-wheel drive, so I'm going to lock my center differential, but I'm going to keep my rear locking differential in reserve, we're good, that's it. really useful now that I'm in off-road mode, it's changed the view so I can see the side of the vehicle and just below the front as well, so I also show you my climb angles, descent angles and side angle, yeah.
Oh hell, like me, now you're supposed to go pretty slow around here, but we're against the clock because I have to get to a location, film some more in this car and then get to an intense off-road track and then I had to take a flight back, that was a really interesting thing, at that point I just threw myself into it like a ditch. What would have happened if it had P power steering? I would have kicked back through my hands, but since it's electric, I felt it. Kind of like muting the effect or fighting the effect of kickback through the steering wheel, so I didn't really feel much with my hands, that's a clear benefit of electric power steering.
Sorry for the tirus, they are taking an absolute beating. oh no, there's someone in front of us, they're going to have to let us through oh, brutal, oh, there's two loads of people in front of us, damn, yeah, this is getting a little complicated, this is hard now, I really want to get through it . Their Paces driving it saved my life quite a bit because it created such a useful system that I'm pretty sure Land Rover did it first, but now let's see if we can intimidate these guys the way we probably will and find out it's our fault.
AO Toyota there, I hope not. I'm pretty sure if it were Akia we'd be going a lot faster than we are. Hello, black Land Cruiser M. Do you want to come in? It's that Jordan from Auto Express, yeah, I don't know why. the signal is so bad is it there? oh god, what are we doing? This is a chaos. I don't think this is the placeright to go a little further. Okay, this looks a little better. How about? Leis, are we going to roll? Go down the mountain and die, sure, just wait, yeah, we're not going to do it here, we're too scared, okay, if I try to go right, you're going to try to turn around, yeah, sure, let me leave this because this is. high risk we have this I say thank you thank you sorry for bullying you off road we also just bullied the chief engineer off road I think we are very popular you know what's going to happen I'm going to end up breaking This and it's going to be a case of the hair and the turtle.
One thing we have to be careful of is a tire puncture because these rocks are sharp and if you go fast there is a risk of that happening. Oh, look classic. there's a good place just there look where we could have passed well this is a bit or is a technical term that in off-road dirt in the off-road language the O obstacle wow this is a good bit no problem hey that's not a problem boy how do you feel Louis, are you right? Shaking a little F activating about yes, exactly, you can really feel it, it will make you want to go on a diet, oh yeah, look, the Toyota Land Cruis is good for your health, focus your mind. about losing your flabby parts oh, this is right, this is slow, this little bit down, I think it flies, I've let the poor thing loose.
Go outside in the rain, this is a pretty sharp rock. Let's look at this. I'm tempted to leave Louis out there, no. God, please, no, no, I really wanted to do that, that's a problem. Surround view cameras Louis, yes, Leis, yes, yes, could you just run your finger over the camera on the front to remove the raindrops? Oh, beautiful look. nice clean image, here we go, let's get through this rock look. I can see exactly where my wheels are going, go, I'll let it go back, come on, are you ready, oh, that's all over the system, shark, we're fine, you're fine, car, no, you're not happy with it, you don't know what to do, let's all take a moment and take a look to see what happened to the car, okay, this side, we're okay, that side, I don't think I have the right footwear for this, I really haven't planned it very well, I have four low MTS. let's go to the camera view, let's make sure everything's okay, yeah, yeah, yeah, play that, here we go.
Operator error. Wow, I mean, look at this G from the forest to this Barron's landscape. Now we're doing The Descent. I want to try something. So this has hill descent control, then I changed the speed using this to see if it drags me down the hill, so this is high speed, oh yeah, and that's low speed, wow, that's really slow, enough already, that's too slow. I want to try it. Have you driven anything like this? No, you've never done it right. Why do you ever go well? That's reassuring. You can't even get in the car, so I'm not sure if you drive it.
What's going on here? Why is your seat cold? hot I have my coat on hot your ass is sweaty or something like that maybe oh oh yes there is a camera there don't let me move it no, it's okay I'm like I'm with her now because I got closer to the camera and then I walked away from it, You go over a rock and my head is there, that's one thing, although that is very close to your head, where it is normally behind, oh, and again, it is in the head, how do you do it? Do you just sit forward? yeah just try to stay still it must be really good for your car i don't have one you don't have one you just like a big load of jello it's so funny i can't see what it says on your wrists from here it's almost like a movie so I can't see anything from here and I think that's great because I don't like when I drive with Joe in the car, you'll always be looking at the speedometer, fast.
You're going faster than me mate, I don't trust me, it must be scary when I drive, so this is the river we're going to cross, every vehicle is a crossing and should I let Louis cross it? river, you can cross the river, are you sure? Yes, you have to go out and film it, although not in these shoes. I'm not going to get your pants dirty. I think I have the right foot. Runs. Louis, run. I'm not sure I'll go. to convey that, their well is I'm going to need my wellies to get across, go get your wellies.
I think this buildup will probably result in general disappointment from the actual experience, the reason we can only cross it once is to protect the environment you don't want trucks coming and going too many times where does it go? Where have you sent it? I'm sorry, where are you going? Yeah, if you go, he's got your boots, right? Yeah, you shouldn't have told him that. That would have been funny, yeah, not for him, yeah, but funny for everyone else, you know what's going to happen now that he's on a slippery rock, he'll end up slipping and breaking his ankles when it would have been better to just get his feet wet. here we go a great time there it's going to drive across the river I'm going to go very slow to extract the maximum amount of enjoyment in fact wait let's put this on too oh that looks beautiful oh wow oh hello so let's go oh Okay it's a little deeper than I thought He would have gotten very wet, that was nice brief but nice a few moments later.
We are absolutely tearing it up here. I love driving over this kind of stuff, it just feels like it. So now we're doing a little test of how capable this car is when tearing through the woods. Can Lewis set up a camera while I do this? Come on, Lewis, what's wrong? You are a professional. There we go, let's go, oh. Wow, this thing is taking absolutely all of this brutal punishment, it's incredibly difficult. I don't think if I had a Land Rover I'd be willing to push it like that, but since it's a Toyota, I'm not worried that could be my downfall.
I'm trying to get to this off-road circuit that's like mud terrain, but I also have to get a flight very soon, so we're really pressed for time, hopefully we won't run into the assistant chief engineer. He obviously has less faith in his trucks than I do. I'm just imagining that I'm being chased by a militia. Does this feel pretty fast? No? Yes, it's pretty fast. Okay, the torque curve on this engine is right where I am. it sat pretty much at maximum torque in the rev range, you know, just after two really hard pulls, which is where you want it to be in a car like this, so while it may not be the silkiest diesel or the fastest, definitely has enough strength.
The whole suspension body is doing a very good job of all this, so this truck has something called Mogul control that when you go over uneven surfaces like potholes and things like that it levels it out just when you're at a fork in the road you take the right fork or you take the left fork to the right of the fork elegant thing here on the right once again you are forging the path whether you follow the right path or the left path I think my destiny is once again on the right path this is narrow and so perfect at the right time why are you gone come back come back what was all that I have come to a fork in the road must I take the right path or the left path there is a theme I will go well, we have reached a muddy track.
I'm going to put the car in four-wheel drive low, put my mode select on M, lock my center differential, do my sway bar too, just because I can, let's fool myself. I should note that the tires on this car are all-terrain, but they are not particularly off-road focused. More buyers are leaning toward on-road use. See how we progress. It seems like it might be a little serious. Oh yes, that's what I am. It's easy to talk about this because it seems a bit loud, let's break it down yeah I love that kind of stuff right? Do you want to stop it here?
Because it looks like there's going to be some water. Is that drone about to die? Oh. it's so close to the drone just turn this one on the boost increases oh this is mega oh im going to regret this because i slowed down behind the other truck oh no it just gets up pretty easily oh oh this seems like a bit of a feature of deeper water, wow, yeah, well, it was a lot of fun despite doing my best. I didn't manage to kill the Land Cruiser, so what's my final verdict on the new Toyota Land Cruiser?
Should you avoid it? Do you consider it if you shortlist it or should you just go ahead and buy it right. I think you should shortlist it. It's a proper all-rounder and absolutely brilliant, but you have to ask yourself whether you really need that kind of functionality because, while it's quite luxurious, a more traditional regular SUV offers superior levels of comfort anyway.
