You've never heard of these Minecraft versions. Why not?

Apr 18, 2024
On August 1, 2021, a video appeared online titled entry point and was from a mysterious channel called

minecraft

alpha

versions

1.0.16. The video was very low quality and shows some gameplay from an older version of Minecraft. Things seem pretty normal until about 40 seconds into the clip, the player notices a tree and turns around, suddenly seeing a dark, shadowy figure in the distance. Surprised, the player opens Skype and sends several panicked messages to one of his friends, however, when he returns to the game, the shadow player finds him. It's an unusual video from a strange channel, but upon closer inspection we see some strange details, as the footage was recorded in alpha 1.0.162 released in August 2010.
you ve never heard of these minecraft versions why not
What deepens the mystery is the description I remember of this world. It started out in single player, however we used to run it on a server until it was unknowingly accepted into testing. He was banned for distributing the vial to someone outside of testing. Being me, it's nothing personal. After all, this description is now back with us. offers more questions than answers by distributing the jar accepted in the tests what exactly we have stumbled upon here what this channel is about this is simply the entry point to the long and winding labyrinth that is the entry point of the

minecraft

alpha 1.0 version. 16 is not the only video that was released on August 1st, in fact there are two more, the first one is titled version01.

More Interesting Facts About,

you ve never heard of these minecraft versions why not...

The login screen tells us that the person recording has the Minecraft username exorcist 6890. This tells us that the player recording must be the same person from the previous video. While this video is short, there are a couple of anomalies. First of all, the version number is alpha 1.0.160501. This is a version that does not have any type of record on the Minecraft wiki. The last known version that exists is 1602. Somehow this video appears. to be a recording of an unknown version while the gameplay appears to be normal there is a subtle difference here the moyang logo is not the same one that was used during this time period on the left is the logo that had been in effect since alpha 1.04 and a On the right is the logo of the video, it is a change that, although apparently minor, is still difficult to understand, this brings us to the third video uploaded that day in August, it is called the search, it lasts approximately two minutes and includes an exorcist and a player named djp 155. the description says we tried to find the thing from a previous video, we couldn't find it.

The video shows the two players chatting and trying to find the shadow player, although no matter what they do, everything seems normal. There is nothing special about this video that seems to make sense, although during the year 2010, Notch released several updates called secret Friday updates, they were released on certain Fridays and were accompanied by a tumblr post. The version of this gameplay footage is 1.0.17, which is the 8th secret update on Friday, interestingly this version is also missing, but still there are no known anomalies such as shadow players appearing randomly, let's take a step back, until now we have three videos with three different

versions

, the first is 16 2, the last. is 17 and the middle is 160501, the version numbering seems to indicate that it should be located somewhere between 16 2 and 17.
you ve never heard of these minecraft versions why not
Here's another implication: if this is 16 5, then where is 16 3 and 4 and of course , is the other puzzling question of why? Neither of these versions has any record of its existence. A notable attribute of 160501 is that it has a second underscore number that is not normally used in the naming scheme. This is what version 1 of title 160501 refers to. The reason for this is unclear. there needs to be so much specificity, in fact it seems like the entire channel is dedicated to these specific versions at this point the investigation the reasoning is far from obvious a video posted the next day only deepens the mystery the description tells us this is the only footage found from version 3 and sure enough it is 160503 once again this is the exorcist footage as we can see the same wallpaper as the previous videos from the beginning things are a little off initial shot, it has some subtle issues, notice how the texture of the brick is slightly different, a little more on the gray side, also the geometry of the torch is modified by adding a bit of railing to the edge.
As we continue the video the exorcist leaves the house and jumps into the water, they come across an iron gate in the The riverbed is a strange location after examining it for a few seconds the exorcist leaves the water and suddenly returns Out of nowhere, a message appears to join the player, although there is no username. The panicked exorcist leaves the game and the video ends, an unnamed player joining is certainly unexpected, but it's actually not the strangest thing in this video, if we go back to before the jump, we notice that there is a cobblestone bridge that cross the river and drive towards the hill with the house, but once the exorcist gets out of the water, the bridge disappears, it's a creepy detail. that's very easy to miss, but there it is, a few days later another video was released called version 05.
It has the description just pictures of me walking. I want to believe that the thing with the strange white doors is just a glitch, but in this version. I can't be sure if these are exorcists playing in the same world, although they were updated to version 5. There are a few more texture changes, sand, dirt, iron ore and stairs all look slightly different now that the exorcist goes down to do a brief extraction when upon returning they notice that there are iron doors in the house but when they enter from the other side the iron doors are no longer there another example of disappearance the following video is titled version six the label tells us that this is a multiplayer test this is the longest video yet follows exorcist and djp as they work together building a multiplayer world.
There are several additional adjustments in this version. The menu bar has a changed texture and there are now blue and white flowers as players progress to build a basement. I also see that there is a new strange shaped window block about 6 minutes into the video, something very strange happens after the exorcist goes to check the windows. Djp pulls out some stone blocks on the floor, on the final break we see something is revealed. an undulating floating rod in the place where the stone block used to be, but it is out of djp's view from his location, he would not be able to see this apparently unconscious anomaly, djp places a new tile block and covers it, it suddenly freezes and then he went to the exorcist, they asked him where he went in the chat and they abruptly kicked him.
The error message says that the account has been temporarily suspended from online play because the session is not authorized. If we slow down the footage, we see an additional quirk a few frames before the exorcist appears. Kicked in, two iron doors suddenly appear where DJP used to be. At the end of the video, we can see the changelog for this version on the Minecraft website. It says the build date is October 22, 2010. Wait, that can't happen. be right secret friday the 8th was released on august 20, 2010 and that was version 17, but this is version 16 and yet the date appears several months after version 17.
This oddity plants the seed of a idea in our minds: what if these 1605 versions are a fork we know about the main Minecraft development chain, but could it be possible that at some point there was a split leading to two consecutive development lines occurring independently ? This is one way to explain why many of the changes we have seen so far.

never

get to the main versions because they are on a totally different path. A hidden fork also shows why none of these versions appear on the Minecraft wiki. These videos are from an apparent second development chain that is no longer affiliated with the main one.
Suddenly, the unusual things we've been seeing make a lot more sense as the version number increases, as do the number of slight modifications that also stack on top of each other. Changes in version 5 are carried over to version 6 and so on in In this video we also see for the first time a changelog, various inputs or modifications that we have already discussed, including texture changes in multiplayer and adjustments to the UI, but then there are some other things, like a vignette on how to fix bugs related to shadow players. several videos of mystery players joining or being seen in the world could be these the shadow players listed apparently didn't always work as expected there is also a point about recruiting enabled it seems to occur when automatically selecting accounts plus there is a game ID tester that matches the exorcist's id when they get kicked, things are starting to come into focus now, the exorcist is a play tester who has been randomly selected to play in these versions 1605 at the bottom, a message informs the testers What gameplay these versions are should not be disclosed anywhere, including screenshots and videos, this potentially explains why these versions are so unknown that they were intentionally kept secret, so why are we suddenly seeing videos of this now? ?
The person running this stumbled upon the footage and decided to leak it. The video descriptions so far seem to reinforce this idea. There is a mix of cited and uncited material, implying that each video has an external source. The person running the YouTube channel may not be an exorcist. Instead, there is someone whose goal is to collect as many images of these versions as possible, we see evidence of this in the following video, the description talks about how to find more saved images, although a jar remains elusive. However, this video was probably not recorded by Exorcist.
We can see that the user is running Windows Vista instead of Windows. xp, also the playtester id is different on the changelog page. Version 7 was created on October 24, two days after the previous iteration. The changelog contains another nugget in the form of a comment. They can't behave well. The guidelines clearly state that they cannot do so. distribute the provided software, this rule alone had over 50 violations on launch day alone when we started multiplayer testing if you were kicked out of the game with the error message unauthorized session, this was the cause, that's exactly what happened to exorcist in the previous video and presumably djp as well, this may be the reason why there are no images of them for version 7 and instead we are seeing a different person's game, speaking of which, if we watch the video , we see more and more minor changes, including a different new furnace block. the heart contains a modified pointer and a new user interface approximately 23 seconds into the video a shadowy player named obstruction appears the player is completely invisible except for the name tag and is apparently immune to attacks near the end they send a message and are warned again why it seems that this new player has not followed the rules either, then the channel was down for a few weeks with no new images of these alpha versions being discovered, but the wait would not last forever.
A new video was released on August 31 and this. one was different, let's read the description, we paid them mo yang, so they let us do that and even gave us access to the authentication system. How the project manager accomplished it is beyond my understanding. Don't reveal my name. They probably still know who I am. I am the full version along with some other videos on my ftp server. I don't think I need to say this but please do not post these full videos anywhere until I give you the green light and what you are seeing here in this video is me playing, the fact that I was even able to record this without getting caught is already something the anti-leak policy was strict, since what I do in the video becomes real, who wouldn't mess with other player worlds like this, especially in 2010. the message is from someone known only as six, for the first time Maybe we see the other side.
The clip shows in-game footage of someone, presumably a Mojang employee, running the recruiting client and is shown to be a recruitment in progress with the option to disconnect or accept the candidate, the developer built several tees upside down in the world, then a player named samurai 2001 appears and the video ends, since this video was recorded with a camcorder, we can also see part of the desktop on the left side. a text document begins by explaining that unauthorized recordings are not allowed something the description tells us the employee clearly knew so there are four guidelines for recruiting, the first explains that the client must be on a certain version andthe second ensures that the client is not running on the development branch, the third is more interesting, it says that the player character should not be discovered in the game, if this happens, they should inform the management and not try to delete any image that appears on the Internet, finally, the fourth bullet.
The point offers some guidelines on what types of players are ideal candidates. Let's pause briefly and consider what we have in the summer of 2010. Minecraft had a fork in alpha versions with several new alphas that were different from the main version of Minecraft. These alphas were only closed. certain players were allowed to be play testers, they also had new features including UI changes and new blocks, in addition, there were shadow players who were apparently Mojang employees who messed with the world in order to recruit people. This YouTube channel represents a location for any type. From the images that have been discovered regarding these versions, what is still unclear is the motivation for this, why things had to be so hidden, why people couldn't share screenshots or employees couldn't take recordings and why it takes more than 10 years for any type.
Of information about this comes how the channel creator finds these things. We get an idea of the final question in the next upload, unlike other videos this one comes from.2021, when we see some conversations in a modern Discord client, it's a group chat called alpha 05 players and there are three members, there is a good chance that one of these people is running the channel from the messages that apparently a user named orable was able to find. a jar and this video shows an attempt to execute it. The person recording is dj 155, probably the same person from the exorcist videos more than 10 years later, here it is again.
He downloads the jar from Discord, puts it in multi-mc and runs the game amazingly. it works, it creates a new world and walks around while looking into the distance, it realizes that there is something out there and when the cursor points towards it, the game lags. The curious DJ swims closer and discovers that it is an iron door with a different texture. Sure enough every time you look at it the CPU usage skyrockets as dj explores he runs into several more of these doors that have spawned naturally in the middle of nowhere after the third door the game crashes with a message that it cannot connect to the main servers that dj returns to.
Discord to tell the news, but a username Machine Rage seems perplexed apparently this wasn't supposed to happen since this version is not connected to the server. There were these things that happened when the PC was connected to our servers, but not this version. one of them Machine Range talks like he's one of the people inside, he seems to be referring to Mojang or at least the development team has Machine Rage the same as six, I think there's a good chance unless the team can. convincing several developers to talk about this project regardless of the discovery of a reproducible jar file of one of these versions is a big step towards understanding what is happening here a week and a half later, this time more images of the version 10. this video shows a multiplayer area where you can go to different worlds the description gives us more details the idea was that these doors would appear in your world and you would open them and end up in a central area this area was hosted on our servers and other players who were there could see each other, you couldn't use chat and it wasn't a bug, it was a real decision to disable chat in this area for a more interesting experience, but the players we accepted in our tests turned out to be smarter. than the project leader expected and they began to build their Skype names out of blocks and would communicate that way.
The video shows that the exorcist has apparently been unbanned while a Skype window tells us that they are the ones recording, create a lever and use it to enter. an iron gate, the game shows a loading screen to join the hub and suddenly the exorcist finds himself in a totally new place, the hub world is a strange type of location in the back rooms with a green color scheme glowing blue, this world contains other doors and other players like As the Bug Nation Exorcist follows Bug Nation and is able to enter their iron gate that leads to a new world, this video explains a lot about the purpose of some of the oddities that We have seen, especially the iron gates, but there are still mysteries, such as why? when the jar was run in 2021, the doors still existed in the game according to the description, the iron door should not appear if the game cannot connect to the central world server and surely the test concluded a long time ago, there is no way that These servers continue to exist. running shortly after another internal video recorded by dev6 was discovered.
The video is about three minutes long and shows Dev6 fixing bugs that are reported on the website, although we know this is version 1605. It's unclear which subversion this is while debugging. a look at some of the internal code including package lists and methods on the surface this is kind of boring but there are some intriguing things if we look a little deeper the date is August 27, 2010 this confirms one of our theories about the development of these alpha versions. It was happening simultaneously alongside the major releases as by this date mojang should be at 1.0.17, however a comment on the bug website seems to suggest that the October date on the download page is incorrect, we now know that versions 6 and 7 are from August 22 and 24, not October, this entire project so far has been carried out over the course of less than two weeks, but these previews of the development process of versions 1605 are just the tip of the iceberg, six days later, a video called developer.
The preview was posted on the channel. The video itself is nothing groundbreaking, although it does show off some features, such as a new door texture. Overall, it's just a standard game. What's interesting, however, is what's in the description for the first time. A jar of one of these alpha versions has been released to the public there is a link to a file it is possible to use this jar and open the game before continuing there are a few things I want to mention running downloaded programs online is inherently risky and unfortunately difficult know for sure If a given program is malicious, while you are free to do whatever you want, I must make it very clear that I make no guarantees or representations about the security of these files.
Use your own judgment and if in doubt, do not run the jar files you have downloaded. online stay safe too if you're enjoying this video so far feel free to subscribe and hit the bell it really helps me now back to the video the jar only gives 40 minutes of playtime as it's just a preview. When starting it, we can choose to preview it for a single player. The gameplay inside seems to match the videos; However, to really see what's new, we need to extract the jar and dig into the internal files. The jar has a multitude of notable things hidden inside and is our deepest look at the project so far, as we expect there to be many new elements, some of which we've seen in videos, for example the items file. pnd includes a strange new green dust, plus there are also two new discs if we dig a little deeper.
We can find that the audio associated with these, one is called hidden din and the other is called lemuria, let's listen clearly both tracks are new and do not seem to have been written by c418, the style is unstable and avant-garde. Three background music tracks were also added, including Moon 2 Norway and Sad Way. These tracks are much more aligned with the Minecraft music we've come to expect and evoke more calming feelings. The jar also has new block textures, many of which have been seen in previous videos, but there are a few that don't, such as a green torch that can be turned on and off, as well as a new green ore.
There are also several new blocks whose purpose is still unclear. Minor differences continue with the mob textures, most of which. They have been changed slightly, but this is relatively boring compared to another major change. The paintings are different. There are two texture files, one corresponding to the original paintings and another with completely new paintings. Some of them appear to be images from the game, like this one. of a house or this one with double iron doors at least one of them connects to a real-life painting a portrait of a poet named Lermantov from 1837 this direct connection with a historical figure is notable although the reason is mysterious this painting replaces to the painting of the wanderer over the sea of fog, which is also based on real art, that is not the only painting with connection to the real world, however, one painting appears to be of the Crab Nebula, a famous supernova remnant , there are a few other paintings where it seems plausible that they also depict photographs, but no concrete connections have yet been found.
There are two paints that are derived from the original Minecraft paints, for example this is a modification of the sunset dents by subtracting one from the other, we can see the difference between the two. Similarly this painting is a slightly modified version of plant once again the meaning is unclear this painting appears to be a monkey and a top hat there is also a painting which may be of some type of Minecraft cube as well as a painting which says demo then there are the paintings where it's hard to tell what they are even with abstract shapes and colors, this one in particular seems notable as there is almost a pattern of four colored squares, maybe there is a code embedded inside it, although I couldn't find it, finally the introduction texts are different from the seven listed in the file, six of them are totally new, including the somewhat sinister one about knowing where you live.
If we continue exploring the jar, we find a strange folder called sample that contains three labeled dat files, these files occupy a relatively large portion of the total. file size what are they? Well, it turns out that if we run the jar outside of multimc, it dumps these files as png images, they are titled s1, s2 and s3, they are all dark screenshots of the game, unfortunately we don't know their purpose yet. silence on the channel for a while finally a new video was found, let's go ahead and watch together, let's analyze this one from the beginning while the player is creating, we hear a door open and close several times, although there is no door nearby while the player uploads stairs and we get a brief glimpse of another shadowy player watching from a distance.
The description says it's about a recruiter, but apparently this version was released after the team disbanded, but that all pales in comparison to the ending when we meet. a strange window-like block, while we may initially think that these blocks are a recording of the past, comparing the two shows that the player took a different route, leaving a somewhat chilling possibility, what if this window does not show the past but the present? It's that shadow player right behind them walking again. We have a video that raises more questions than answers after its release. We have the largest gap between videos to date.
The next video would not be found until early November. This one has no restrictions. preview not much happens in the video it's the description that's really interesting because once again we have a jar file, what are those two jar files, client and server? That's right, we have our first multiplayer version, but there is a problem when we try to run the game. Ask us for a key to find it, we'll look at the description and we can figure out how to find it after all, we found what I hid in the first preview that could reference several different things, from the textures to the music.
However, the most clearly hidden things were images disguised as a different file format. Sure enough, if we look in our new jar, there are three more dat files that we can convert to png s3 is an image of a dark cave with a torch, but unfortunately I don't see any kind of code here. S2 has a number written on scrap paper and it turns out this is the code we need to enter the game. How about S1? Well, if we adjust the colors, we can see what there is. a set of numbers hidden in the upper right corner turns out this code enables cheats this is how the developers were able to generate items in the internal videos it is possible to pause the game, type a number and press more to generate less clear the selection with enough time you can find a list of all possible items there are about 30 new or modified blocks and 16 new items there are a coupleOf other notable things in the jar, for example, there are two additional background songs including Lounge Pianist and Norse Sanctuary, listen, it's at this point that the story takes a turn.
Now this mysterious channel had gained a bit of notoriety and there was a group of people on a Discord server closely following the uploads they created. a multiplayer server for this version on November 2, 2021 and sometimes when playing online strange things would happen, shadow players would join the game. The first sighting began two days after the server was created when a user noticed a strange man in the trees. Shortly after, an invisible player named Desecration appeared. They left four strange messages in the chat. You made it work. You were well? I guess technically I can't do much.
You're not breaking anything, so I might as well fire you that same day. The player joined the server. They began sending cryptic messages, like question marks. At one point they sent a long hexadecimal number by putting it into a translator. This reveals the message. Walk through abandoned hallways the next day. A user named artificial joined and left four numbered messages in these blocks. They are fake, they are not from nature, they are special creations, artificial on November 10, a different user called parole joined and sent more numbered messages testing entry lorem ipsum dolor met 54321 entry working leaving a parole site this soon was followed by a poem with seven messages again the beginning the first of all again the new milestone at home you won't need them again not soon the ante is rising like a monsoon and on this high note I must leave soon a storm will arrive a Revoir these five sightings made the team change their focus, they set up a player to act as a security camera on the server and it worked, the camera caught two players joining the blockage of version seven and the construction of the first blocks of construction out of the player's view of the security camera.
I can hear blocks being placed out of sight after about 25 minutes, the barrier is removed revealing a staircase, perhaps it is the staircase to knowledge. There were several more examples of invasion players for a total of 12. I have listed the dates here, the meaning of these incidents is unclear, the messages ranged from humorous to completely bizarre and, despite their occasional hints, provided little real explanation , the next video posted on the channel was called feature testing and it shows a totally different world, each fragment has a name. and there are floating crystals in the sky. These crystals can be broken and placed in these strange lily pad blocks that can cause zombies.
Shoot the description claims that this is the last version that existed it is so far removed from normal Minecraft that it is approaching the level of unrecognizable a few weeks later the third and final internal footage that dev4 is recording and dev6 appears in the video At first, there are an absurd amount of new players joining, causing confusion among the developers; The footage then cuts to a Linux desktop where they are in the hub world. They eventually use an iron gate to teleport to an overworld location where they build for several minutes. get some interesting shots of the creative inventory again, the most interesting things that will appear are in the description, there is a link to a file called ost.rar and surprisingly it contains a complete soundtrack for the game, some of these tracks have been

heard

before, although there are several new ones, including Rostrum Pattern Pond and Fake Divinity Me.
There is also an album cover and a track listing where we learned that these songs were written by five. The metadata has some notable things, for example moon2.ogd appears as moon 2 on the album cover. but in the file there is also this strange symbol on the cover, finally the rar file has a comment containing a strange number of some kind labeled 7. Can more related numbers be found? The description also contains a link to an image file extension 1605. Lily Pad Release Notes The new gameplay is the most interesting part of this, but right now we don't know what it is.
The following video posted also shows footage from version 13. The player walks around the world at night and kills some monsters suddenly. a health bar appears for the kipan shiagasu giant there he is in the distance the player attacks him and kills him using a new type of sword this video seems to have been recorded by someone new it is a desk that we have not seen before if we take When looking description, we found some interesting details. What I haven't told you yet is that we were the ones who started it. The 3rd was a much bigger project, it was closer to an actual finished game and Minecraft was just its side project.
What was used for experimentation in 1605 was a side branch that attempted to implement some of rd's ideas. This confirms our theory that these versions of 1605 are a fork of Minecraft. What's interesting here is the use of rd which means ruby dung, which was the direct precursor to Minecraft. Only a few screenshots exist, however this description says that Ruby Dung was apparently much more developed than what we've seen. So big that Minecraft was the side project. These new versions represent a return to some of ruby dung's ideas. Another footage was uploaded in early February titled presentation apparently this was designed to be for e3 but was rejected after xero refused to tell them the name of the company. the background music is an 8-bit version of ballroom pianist although it is in a different key than the original, the footage appears to take place in Orville's world from version 7.
It shows a new super long jump, as well as some kind of power meter near the end, Orville joins the world and the person recording is revealed to be information. as they ask why orville is here, warble says that they didn't let xero use their world when video wins and then things went dark, it seemed like everything had been discovered regarding these versions for over two months, there was no new information by This time I started the production of this video assuming that there would be nothing left to find. Suddenly on April 16, 2022 a new video called uncovered was released, unlike other videos, it is a slideshow of 14 images, most of them seem to be taken from development versions. including one that is from a developer citing an incident, but the last four are different, there is a text that says I want to see you explain these zeros, the next image says mcpe 0.9.0, something strange that I didn't build with some kind of framework, then there is a screenshot.
From a forum post from 2015 asking if this was a new feature of some kind, there's finally an image that appears to be from Java of this same evil structure, but that wasn't all, as this is the third time it's been included a new jar, this one is called Lillypad qa, however the game cannot be played unless you enter your qa preview key. To get a key I had to send an email and the key was included in the response once the key was obtained the full game is unlocked. This world is very different with tagged fragments. and a board move, as well as the new water lily seen in the video, there are also giants appearing in the world.
We note that the image above is associated with this version, including the new game mode from the title screen, it is possible to change. the gameplay is fragile in this mode there is only one health heart represented as a glass jar upon death the jar breaks and the game tells you what milestone you were able to reach, the milestones are roughly equivalent to days if you manage to survive 10 In the days of the game, a numbered code will be revealed. This code is interesting because it is associated with the particular account used to play. However, there are actually 5 numbered codes that can be discovered with enough different people playing.
It is possible to find all 5 codes. This version of Lilypad already has cheats enabled via brute force. It was discovered that an item with ID 120 gives a gray block when placed. A screen opens requesting input after entering three codes. A hexadecimal number is sent to the Minecraft game log. What is it for? A look at the extracted files in the jar turns up some interesting things, for example there are four new cave sounds. Get even more intriguing: There are two mysterious dot rar files in the root folder called ph1 and ph2. ph1 is password protected but if we enter our input block hexadecimal number we can access the file has a comment this is rd I swear to god this is rd the version code is different but this is what we knew as rd here is from where we take the features to implement them 1605.
Why does it say 04? What the hell is? This within the file is a single file called stdout.txt opening it reveals the link to another YouTube video. This video is the first without a description and is also the first unlisted video. Title. it's just four question marks a player walks through a misty world at the top we see this is 1604 and new code is also included things in this version look weird the player geometry and the mobs are messed up as the player explores they stumble across a huge mysterious structure that imposes its will on the fog if we look closer one of the images discovered is taken from exactly this video a connection whose meaning is not entirely clear beyond that, however, This video offers little explanation. question marks is the last known video, it is the most recent release on the channel and as of the production of this video nothing new is known, we have spent most of our time together looking at the evidence, but what is really happening let's change March for a bit and think about it all together, the total amount of evidence to examine is enormous, there are 19 videos and three playable versions.
I've done my best to give you a brief overview of them, but the reality is that I can't show them to you. There's all too much going on with almost an hour of raw footage, I'm obviously still trying to figure this out but let me give you a quick overview of what's going on here, as I understand it this channel is a found footage channel which means that most of the things that are loaded are images that have been discovered elsewhere, such as on old hard drives, some of them are from random players, some are from developers, and some are unclear.
What they have in common is that most of these videos are cover videos. of minecraft alpha that are not known to exist from the descriptions, we can say that these versions were developed separately from the main versions of minecraft with a different team. Some things imply that this team is no longer part of mojang, as mojang is sometimes referred to as a different entity in descriptions, this separate development team was made up of seven developers numbered zero to six, it is often made reference to dev zero in a negative way and it seems as if they were one of the dev1 team leaders, seen on the bugfix website. dev2 is not explicitly referenced, but we can infer that they exist. dev3 is the one who created the ost cover. dev4 has done some recordings. dev5 has written the music for the ost. dev6 recorded at least two of the internal videos and may have also been the one who provided some of the jar files, we still don't know the ultimate purpose of this project, although there have been references to recruitment through the use of hidden players, the reason behind the program is not clear, we do know that it was planned. being top secret and that not everyone was allowed to be play testers for them the fact that the presentation was designed for e3 implies that at some point this project was going to be made public but for some reason that

never

happened these alpha versions have several New features become progressively different from the main Minecraft series.
An important aspect is the ability to create doors to a hub world and access other players' worlds. There is also a new game mode, many new blocks and new mechanics, such as the running attack, also, as seen in the videos these versions have a tendency for anomalies to occur, sometimes it seems that the developers are playing with the players , but in other cases it is not so clear what is happening. The strange thing, however, is that anomalies still occur even in 2021, there are several recorded cases from multiple players. joining a server and saying cryptic things, this combined with confusion in some descriptions implies that for some reason this program possibly still exists, although once again the details are unclear.
One thing that makes this whole series a little peculiar is that it takes so long to get there. To be some kind of riddle,The first 11 videos don't lead to any obvious action on our part as the jars start to be released, the community was able to solve some of the puzzles, however there is still a lot left to discover, for example ph2. rar has not been decoded yet, no one knows what exists in this archive prior to my work on this, much of the information available was scattered across various sources. One of the reasons this video took so long to produce was because I put in a lot of time. making a google slideshow that collected all the known information in one place, like I did with the root above.
I linked it in the description. You will be able to see everything the community found. Each video has a tag starting with 0 1. going up to 19. Hopefully this will make it easier to ensure that we're talking about the same evidence that we've been discussing since we've been here. I want to brainstorm for a moment and see what clues might be hidden. There are some details that I don't mention for the sake of time, for example, there are different resolutions and frame rates for different videos. Also, some have sound and some don't. Occasionally, the sound of a video does not match the expected sound of the footage.
There may be some reason for this. There are videos that have moments where they cut briefly that are recorded in the slideshow. There are also videos that have frames that suddenly look blurry, for example the feature test has 10 blurry frames with various frame numbers on the left side. This may simply be a compression artifact, but maybe not beyond just ph2.rar, there's a good chance there are other secrets hidden within the files, such as some of the main tracks having strange audio spectrograms They may have a hidden code inside the cave. The sounds have a mono mix. and stereo as well as an inconsistent sample rate, two of the jars have numbered png files disguised as dat files, codes have been discovered in two of these, however there are four more left that have no clear meaning, it seems to me that there are a good chance that something is still hidden here, could it have something to do with the outlier resolutions?
What about inconsistent bit depths? Something could hold a potential clue on a more technical note. It is possible to decompile Java classes using a tool like recap. some kind of clue hidden here, like this strange message, not this time, Timothy, unfortunately, much of the code seems to be intentionally obfuscated, so not everything will be so easy. Another idea is to review and analyze what specifically has changed from one version to another, perhaps. There is some kind of clue embedded in these differences, but another angle would be to analyze the sightings in more detail. These events have produced many chat messages, none of which have been used in a puzzle until now.
There may be something important there. One reason I wanted to make the slideshow was to ensure these sightings were recorded for the future. There are some minor things to mention, like in the unknown version video where the player opens the chest in a specific order or maybe there is a clue in the bug tracker. website seen in one of the internal videos, the channel is loaded with details and there is certainly more to find or maybe the solution has not been published yet, as I mentioned new videos are still being found on this channel, we really have no idea of how far along this project is, maybe it's almost complete or maybe we're at the beginning.
I've been working on this long enough and I'm hooked. I really want to see where it goes if it wasn't already clear. It's a plot at least I think is of such high quality and great effort that there are times where I've wondered if this could be real anyway, there's some kind of story here that we need to understand, one that's currently unresolved, This is a relatively unknown channel and the community trying to solve it is quite small based on your request. I won't post a link to that.discord as they would prefer it if the community stayed together, so I'm going to create an alpha project channel on my discord.
This will be a great place to discuss what you have discovered and will soon become the main location for conversation on this topic, the link is in the description, I am very excited to talk to everyone and see what they come up with, unlike the root above, this argument is still in progress, there is still a lot to do. find out, so take a look. What are we missing? Is there any new angle here? I'm very excited to hear from you. We will begin to conclude. It's been a fascinating experience delving into these things and I hope you enjoyed it too.
The attention to detail is tremendous, there's even a full soundtrack, if you want to dive in I'll leave a link to the channel in the description. Also, don't forget there will be a place to discuss this in my discord, come on. Come join us on our journey. I'm very excited to see where it takes us. I especially want to thank the following people who are very helpful in the production of this video. We'll go ahead and get this over with. arjun thank you so much for watching and i will see you all in the next video have a great day
