Samsung Galaxy S21 vs A52 Real World Camera Comparison

Mar 30, 2024
Today we're going to play with the flagship Galaxy S21 versus the budget A52. I've been waiting for someone to get it right, so it's obvious that the 852 can't compete with the S21 since it's a budget versus a flagship, but let's see how closely these

camera

s can compare. Right off the bat the 852 can shoot up to 4830 but it is not stabilized and I think that is the biggest limitation if you want to run and gun at the highest quality then you have to go down to 1080. But the good thing is that the 852 offers many

camera

modes which are almost the same as the s21 now, if you plan to vlog with the front camera you can shoot up to 4k30 on the a52 but it is not stabilized, yes it is a little wider but the hdr is not as good for shooting video on the s21 it has 4k 60 which is awesome because i can slow it down.

This is all handheld and looks very smooth and of course the rear cameras on the a52 are not stabilized and if you are recording in the shadows or anywhere that is quite dark in the image it is quite noisy if you plan on recording a lot of video Honestly, just go for the flagship phone, it's not worth going for the a52, if you plan to record. only at the highest quality that the a52 offers which is 4k 30. Nowadays I think phones should offer some kind of stabilization at 4k 30 because that's the standard now as you can see it's a lot wider on a 52 because there is no stabilization, so I guess. that's a pro only if you

real

ly need that super wide shot, if you don't need to record in the highest quality you can downgrade it to 1080p which is stabilized so it's a pro but I still think the s21 still offers the sharpest . and an image with better color and contrast, if you like this video, please give it a thumbs up and let me know if you enjoy these types of behind the scenes shots.

More Interesting Facts About,

Now moving on to the rear cameras, the a52 isn't too bad for someone who just casually wants to take pictures here and there, it has a telephoto lens which is great for some versatility, of course it won't be as good as the s21 which It will obviously be sharper and clearer if you

real

ly zoom in or look closer. the images especially in the shadows are quite noisy on the a52 for hdr, they are not as consistent on the a52 because sometimes it looks good and sometimes it just looks too dark so what I'm trying to say is that the s21 is more reliable for getting that exposed image, so how about portrait mode on s21?

You can actually zoom in to use the other focal length on the a52. You can't, even though it has a telephoto lens. Overall, the images on the a52 are really dreamy, especially if when shooting in the sun you get a really strong flare that blurs the image for the most part, while on the s21 the hdr, as I said, is more consistent, so which will give you a more exposed image for the front camera. Alright. I would really avoid having the sky in the background because it's very inconsistent on the a52, so if you're shooting in shadow on a lot of buildings in the background it works great, so I'm looking forward to shooting in portrait mode on a budget phone. quite restrictive now for low light, no surprise the s21 still wins, but they are both quite noisy.

The 852 has more noise in the background or in darker spots. I also think the white balance or warmth of my skin looks better. a s21 now overall if you plan on getting the a52 on 5g I honestly don't think it's worth it because it's like 500 bucks and the s21 is like 200 more so honestly I'd save up to get it you get the highest quality. in hardware, faster performance and better image quality if you're not planning on getting the 5g version then I'd say it's not that bad it really depends on what you need in this phone if you're using it for super casual stuff mostly just for phone and less camera, then I would say go for it.
