- When I was very little- God, this is a great story. A lot of things could have gone wrong there, I'm not going to lie. Hey, what's up guys? I'm Javon Walton and I'm here with Seventeen for 17 Questions. Always boxing. I don't know. (laughs) I always box. First I am a boxer. I've been doing this since I was four years old. Punching couch cushions since I was two years old. (laughs) Yeah, that's... That's really what started it all. He was punching the couch cushions when he was young and telling my dad that he wanted to go to a boxing gym.

I saw it on TV and I was very interested, right? Then when I was four, my dad finally took me to a gym to box and I really got into it. I have 80 fights now, I competed at a very high level and I hope to turn professional at 18 years old. I never say I'm going to do something I don't do. Everything I say, I do. I'm not someone who says, "Oh, okay. I'll do it, I'll do it." I always do it. If I'm going out with a friend, right? Or something like that. And maybe even sometimes you don't want to, sometimes you just want to relax inside.

I won't back down. I will always do it. I want a million shoes. I want to expand my shoe collection even more. I probably have a good 30 shoes, 40 shoes. But I've been going recently. I've been narrowing down my collection. It was a little bigger, but I have opted more for quality, less than for quantity. And just getting shoes that I love and that are just great, instead of just buying a bunch of cheaper shoes. My favorite pair I own now? I think the ones I like the most are probably the ones I bought from Shoe Surgeon.

They are like a Goyard wrap for dunks. This Offwhite design with a Goyard wrap. It's like these dunks he made were absolutely crazy. His stuff is great. So I think the hardest thing about boxing is probably cutting weight. I had to lose about five pounds and that's pretty hard. Reducing weight is going down to a different weight category. So let's say if you weigh 115 pounds, you have to reduce it to 110. And that part is pretty difficult. Because when you are a boxer, you are always training and you are always in good shape. So there's not much to cut.

Honestly, I think getting Euphoria because it opened up a lot of opportunities for me in the acting world. That's amazing, it was really cool and it allowed me to reserve myself for a lot of other things. I knew it was going to be a big hit and it was crazy how I tried Euphoria. I was on Steve Harvey's boxing show, because I've been known in the boxing community for quite some time. I got a call from a casting director and she asked me if he was interested in a role called Euphoria. And I said, "Yeah, I mean, sure.
I'll audition for the script." And then I ended up trying it and loving it. I got the role immediately. It was just an attempt. And that was it. I was the

only

kid who pronounced the names of drugs right, so... What got me into acting was getting the script for Euphoria, honestly. Just trying and getting the role is what really made me want to continue acting. Like I said before, everything happens for a reason. And I knew acting was on my path for a reason. And I knew it was something I was supposed to do. Something I have to do, so.
Sometimes I like to make art. I'm not very fond of that. I don't know. I like animation stuff and I love art. I'm not the best at it, but I like drawing things. When I was very little... God, this is an incredible story. When I was very little, all my brothers were in my room. We were what? Eight or nine? I wanted to go out. So... and it was like two floors up. So my brothers and I gathered a bunch of blankets and crawled on them. I did it, not them. They thought that was crazy. I crawled through the blankets to get outside.
And it was two or three floors up. That's right... he was tall. We had to put down several blankets. A lot of things could have gone wrong there. I am not going to lie. No. There is no one I would meet who would wow me. But someone I would have liked to meet, I would have liked to meet, was Muhammad Ali. That would have been really cool. I was supposed to film an Umbro commercial with him

once

, so that would have been cool, but... My fan base is very strong. There are so many people who support me and I love that.
There are a lot of people who really support me and love what I'm doing. And that really means a lot to me, because it's hard to build a community like that. I honestly don't know if I have the co-star of my dreams. I am a firm believer. Everything happens for a reason, so I work with whoever I work with. It doesn't matter at the end of the day. If I could change one bad thing about social media. Ah OK. Here I will

only

mention TikTok in general. How addictive it is. I mean, bro, I'll be on a For-my For You page for so long and I won't even realize how many TikToks I've seen, and that's the absolute worst.
It's really addictive. That's something I would change. And all the hate about it. There is too much hate and too many people hating, but that cannot be controlled. It does not matter. I really want to go skydiving. That's something I'd love to do, then. If I could do anything, I want to go skydiving. There's something fun about the risk involved. I do not know why. It's just... it's great. Yeah. I don't even know, my playlist right now is all over the place. I got a mix of different artists. I like Drake. I like Giveon. I like Gambino Infantil.
I mean there are artists like that, I love it. I think what I like most about being an

actor

is being able to work with new people and having a completely new cast every time is great. It's like a reboot and it's great to experience it and meet all these new people on set. You have to have the discipline. Boxing has a huge, extremely important discipline. You have to put in a lot of time and effort to become really good at boxing. I started boxing when I was four years old. That's the first time I went to a gym.
When I was little, I would hit the couch cushions and things like that. Watch boxing on television. And I would talk to my dad a lot about it. He sent me to the gym and said, "I want to box." He trained me a little bit, showed me some little things, because he used to box when he was younger, but he really got back into it because he really wanted to do it. He... when he thought he was ready for it, he took me to a gym when I was four years old. That's really what started it all.
I always had the discipline. I always had the drive. I had what it took to become a boxer and that was really what drove me. Honestly, I don't even know. I don't want to put limitations on myself. I absolutely want to go as far as I can when I'm 30. I want to achieve many things. So many that I don't even know what name to give. I mean, being a world boxing champion would definitely be a priority. And doing cool things in the acting space. I think what I like most about myself is that I am left-handed.
There aren't many lefties. So I think it's cool that he's left-handed. Well, there are a lot of lefties, but you know what I mean? Compared to right-handers, it's great that I'm left-handed. I don't know. There's not much, I'm not going to lie. (Laughs) It's hard to get pumped up and have a great head space all the time. I think it's really just doing it. Doing what I'm supposed to do, that encourages me. Because I know there's a bigger picture to look forward to when you're working. So I think that's really what motivates me. I would say that I am a very hard worker.
Disciplined and passionate about what I do. I just think about boxing and acting in general. They both completely changed my life and made me thrive in a way that I am very grateful for. Something I want to achieve is, kind of like what I said before, I want to be a world champion, that's for sure. I want to be Marvel or DC or something like that. I want to be a superhero or... whatever. I just want to be a superhero or a supervillain. I don't know which is more likely, but I really want to play Robin.
That would be sick. I would love to play Robin. What I would say to my fans is that I would just like to thank you for all the support and love you give me, it really means a lot. You all are the best. I hope all of you are thriving in your own ways as individuals and succeeding in whatever you are doing. Thank you all so much for watching. I thank you all. Umbrella Academy. You should definitely check it out. It's going to be absolutely fire. I can't wait for that to drop. And that is. Peace.
