I'm going to bring this one in and I'm just going to roll it up, okay, and you're going to start to form your petal. Well, you'll see it start to form and then if you look at the back, that's what's going to happen. so that it looks like on the back and so that the flange hides the fold and then you're just going to put this in your frame and you can make a daisy, a big daisy petal, kind of a pouf style

flower

, that's fine, so I just showed you the big daisy popsicle, let's look at the small one, it won't look like a daisy, but it will look like maybe, oh, a zinnia or something like that, so again with the curly side up. to just put it together in the middle this is this here would be where your middle would be but we're not going to use that we're going to take a smaller zip tie and we're going to go right in the middle okay right right where my fingers are holding it I'm just going to bring it in and you can even use it.

I know some people have told me that they've used um oh, like little hair bows, but I've never had them. in my room they're upstairs in the bathroom so I like the zip ties they're good enough for me so I'm going to bring this one and I'm going to roll it up the sides because you want those sides to be hidden down and you're just going to look at this and you're going play with it to get the look you want, if you want it to be more elongated, you can make it if you want it to be more rounded, you can just fluff it up, but that way you would have that's what you would do with a 10 inch cut in the same petal technique, as you can see, it looks the same as the larger one. that's like a rounded petal oh I don't know a rounded petal a zinnia petal I'm not sure what you would call this one.

I'll leave a link to the tutorial in the description box. Okay, so I'm going to Take these two pieces of mesh fabric and I'm just going to show you how you can combine two colors to make a petal. Okay, so you're just going to take a seam in the middle and do the gathering there, and on the fabric mesh it's different. than polyester burlap, the structure is different, so what I do is I put it on my thumb and I take my you know, whatever color I want to do, I'll, you know, coordinate colors, this is not really a method that just would do. the same color, I like to add a little bit of color, so I take the other one and I'm going to put it on my thumb and it's going to form a cross, so basically what I'm doing here is I'm just holding it. and then I mention it all together, okay, and I have a couple of videos where I use this technique, but you could do this with polyester burlap, it would be a much fuller petal, but that way it gives you a little bit of a feel. from using more mesh and I didn't use the fabric or the wood stove on this so it's a little frayed but I just wanted to show you that petal which is a petal that I've used a lot, I haven't.
I made it recently, so maybe we need to make a new one, maybe try it with decorative mesh, I don't know, but that's another petal you can make, so I want to talk a little more about fuse pedal techniques. It had two pieces. that I had from previous projects with you, but I wanted to show you that you could use this as a check mesh. You can see my hand underneath there and then on the other side I had an orange one and I just like how you can totally change the mesh look by adding another piece of mesh to then create your own designer mesh color so if you like , I don't know if you like purple and orange, you can combine the purple and orange because they sell it in purple, so I really like how they make this, so you can make mini, you can make the basic petal, you can make the daisy petal you can even take this and go right down the middle if you want to save the mesh and do the daisy pedal like that and then you're saving time and money by putting that on your

wreath

okay so there's a lot of different things you can do.
This here is the decorative mesh and the polyethylene burlap. I wanted to show you this. I came up with this idea, I made a wreath for my grandmother's funeral and back then I didn't fuse it, I layered it and then once I found out I could fuse it, of course, it made all of that a lot easier. do, but again I did a tutorial using basically the basic petal for this wreath and it turned out really pretty and it's really pretty. I like how you can take basic colors, put them together and create jewel tones, so that's what I like about my fuse pedal technique.
Well, last but not least, let's talk about burlap that's like five and a half or five inches. Well, I have made many wreaths with this burlap from the hobby lobby. What is the difference between this and similar things? brown burlap but usually brown burlap isn't tied together so I like that so what I like to do is cut this at an angle and I know that was a little confusing for people so what I want you to do en I want you to start the burlap at an angle, so I would recommend about two inches, so if it started here, I wanted it to end two inches further, so just start now, here's the key to this.
Turn it at an angle, it's okay to go with the line, so here let's make the line 10 inches. Now you need to cut this from here to here, which is the 18 inch line. Okay, so I'm going to cut it right there. when I do that I'm going to follow the line okay so when I turn it it makes a longer petal it really does it makes it like 10 to 10 inches here and 8 to 8 inches here so it's a little strange in the math, but this is how we do it, so we start at an angle and then we turn it so it's flat along the line and then we cut it eight inches later, okay, that makes your pedal like this, how do we do this petal?
We start by shortening and We're going to go to the short end and we're just going to gather and as we gather we're going to take it like the basic petal, it's like a miniature basic petal and that's your palette and then you. You're just going to attach it to your wreath frame with a pipe cleaner and that's what you're going to do, so I have a lot of techniques or a lot of tutorials on this. I'll leave some in the description box below. Now you have a complete video. With all the petals, I know I'll probably make up some new petals in the future and we'll have to make a video then, but this was a long process for me, so if you made it this far in the video, I always ask. leave me an emoji and I do it because that way I know you watch the video and it makes my day, so leave me your favorite

flower

emoji in the comments below, tell me what flower or wreath you're going to try to make.
Make sure to check out the description box for all the videos that you can watch using these techniques and you can find the links for the buyback and the fashion tree and all of my favorite tools that I have in the Amazon store, so until next time. see you later bye
