Doctor: Trump is obviously on drugs, has ADHD

military.  There are very strict physical and mental tests that a rookie recruit, a private, must undergo to be in our army, but to lead everything.   Absolutely nothing. And interestingly, ADHD itself is not a disqualification for the US military. But actually taking medication to control ADHD is an automatic discharge, which is almost the other way around. And you know, maybe you're not saying we can't. We cannot or should not treat only people who have it. Again, I would frame the treatment as probably something positive so we shouldn't stigmatize anyone. But then we should be open and transparent about what they use it for and when they use it.

And again, in Trump's case, I think he and the country would have been better off if they had taken it every day, which they clearly didn't.  Speaker 1: In other words, there is no real problem with drug testing. But if drug testing turns up anything, understanding what condition, if any, is actually being treated would be the critical part. Speaker 3: Yes. Speaker 1: Fascinating.
