s had a problem where cylinder number three would overheat here and be hotter than all the others and the reason it did so was because it was in the fan shroud. This wasn't here. All this compensation for the oil. The cooler wasn't here, the oil cooler was right in the center of the fan shroud, oh it's placed here, right in the way of this side of the engine, so the air would have to go through the cooler. oil and then pass through the cylinder head passages. and then come out the bottom later what they did was they kicked it back now it's offset it has its own separate airflow the air is cooled by an oil cooler and then there's another set of ducts going out and out the Departures. it's under the car with the rest of the hot air and the cold air series stays on top so greatly improved heat and cylinder number three still runs hotter than the others anyway but that's an improvement what did you do.

It was definitely time to look, probably like here I was a normal commuter, I probably got like 70,000 out of an engine before that and then it got to about a hundred grand when they kicked the oil cooler, that was the next afternoon and This is a box heater that would normally work with a fuel injected Beetle engine. The problem is that it has a regular carburetor setup, which is not a problem, but all of this has been customized, including the muffler, to fit that system and to go install.
