I need to thank all the people behind me and all the people of Idaho, everyone. the chiefs and sheriffs that have reached out its not just our community here this shows what kind of state we live in this is an extremely difficult time for an agency to lose an officer we support them we stand by their side and behind them and our hearts grieve with Officer Bolter's family, friends and loved ones Bolter was 27 years old, had been working in law enforcement for 7 years and joined the Ada Sheriff's Office in January after previously working for Meridian PD and the Pleasant Hill Police Department in California have now had another officer injured in a car accident while responding to the shooting.
That deputy is in stable condition and Carolyn Sheriff Clifford says she knows there will be a big push from the public to support Deputy Bolter and his family. Very soon we will have a means for people to express their support.
