The last Marvel movie I've seen is Guardians, the one I've heard closest to the top 40 is Bring Me The Horizon. I've only seen Game of Thrones with Shawn Bean. All I know about book talk is that it's full of incest. and being the later years guy, I don't keep up with the latest in AAA games or online services. I don't currently play Call of Duty. I don't play League of Legends. I don't play fortnite, there's no way to hide it. that cliche and yet I played Tom Clancy's defiant ex. I played Crew Motorfest. I finished Far Cry 6 and have dozens of other games from this godforsaken company installed and I'm not the only one.

I swear. The only game my friend played for a year was Assassin's Creed Odyssey. The first game another friend bought for his PS5 was Assassin's Creed Valhalla. Even the skill level linked me to Division 2, the way we talk about Ubisoft and how much we talk about Ubisoft versus how much we get involved. Ubisoft doesn't make sense because it's not just the critics, it's not just the professionals and it's not just the standards, it's everyone, including me. There's something about this company that stands proudly alongside the collection of corporations I ignore that keep luring me back and I think I finally know why for a generation of gamers there is no world without Assassin's Creed.
