TRIGGERED: Taking Back Your Mind In The Age Of Anxiety Part III | Pastor Steven Furtick

Jun 06, 2021
This is the third week of a series called Unchained the topic is reclaiming

your

mind

in the age of

anxiety

today's text is Luke chapter 10 verse 38 to 42 and I want to share this scene with you in an appropriate way let's really have a great time good today. This is a practical message and a fun little story that Luke put in his gospel account and since we're talking about this thing about

anxiety

and getting our

mind

s

back

, I think we not only have to look at that in the deepest sense, but just in the simple, everyday ways that life hits us and hurts us and makes us sensitive and susceptible, so this passage is interesting for that purpose, let me read it now Luke chapter 10 verse 38 While Jesus and his disciples were on the way , he came to a town where a woman named Martha opened her house to him and then they were on their way to Jerusalem actually for a trip and that's where Jesus was always heading, he was always heading to the cross, no matter what he was doing, yeah He is healing people, he is heading to the cross, he is focused, he knows his ultimate goal and that is why no one could divert Jesus from the path or the mission because he knew what he came to do and he knew that that meant suffering and he I knew that meant leaving out certain things and people's agendas and maybe not necessarily living up to their preferences.

He was headed to Jerusalem, but many things happen along the way. How many know that many things happen in life? Things happen along the way. It would be a fun little Bible study for you. At some point Lisa just circles every time in the Bible that someone was on their way somewhere and something crazy happened. Something good enough to be included in the Bible happened. the road to somewhere and life is like that because some of God's greatest invitations come through life's little interruptions just put that there on

your

phone life is right now put it on your phone the greatest invitations from God the greatest invitations from God come through the little interruptions of life so it's like right before this story that Jesus is telling about the Good Samaritan remember you're passing through heaven and you're in a hurry to get somewhere and They couldn't be bothered to stop because they were distracted with what was on their agenda and sometimes the distraction will be what you planned and God's agenda will reveal itself in something you didn't know was going to happen and you have no margin in your life, you will go through high the things that God puts in front of you because you will be very focused on your goals and sometimes God's gifts happen on the path to your goals and you discover that He had something different in mind for your day or for your week or for your life, so okay, I gotta go a little faster NISS and then my preaching goes something like this, some of the things that mean the most are little things like that that happened along the way, so they're on their way somewhere , they arrive at a town where a woman named Martha opened her house to them.

I want to use the title of today's sermon. The movie in my mind. Have you been to this movie in the theater of your own eager imagination? My movies are often classified as ridiculous rr4. just the stupid things I could make up in my mind and even this week I was really afraid of something and when I actually did it I had nothing to fear, it was actually super fun when I did it, it was the best

part

of my week. but I did it, something in my mind doesn't make these movies in my mind because I'm a dysfunctional director and in my mind I make these movies and sometimes I edit scenes that have happened with scenes that will never happen and that's why the movie in my mind usually when I want to meet someone and I've never met them before, I just ask them what kind of music they like and then if they say I don't like music that much then I'm done. they have no soul, there's nothing else to talk about and then if they start listing, you know it was weird when your

pastor

's people would say Christian answers to everything, so you say what your favorite movies are and they start listing.

You know, it's been his 10 Commandments Facing Giants Fireproof, just recite it in every movie where someone is saved and I don't have the heart to tell you because I'm supposed to be a man of God, I don't. Christian is usually this horrible. I don't always like Christian movies. I almost never like Christian movies. Now I know this is going to be a boycott on this

part

icular worship experience because this is the most religious crowd I preach to. I know that on Netflix you only see reruns of Seventh Heaven, but now I say that in my personal taste I don't have much tolerance for movies where everything turns out well.
You know what I like I just like movies where at the end everyone is dead if not everyone is dead at the end of the movie I don't know why I like movies where at the end there is blood everywhere blood of the Lamb I love playing that hymn for church people. I know. I do not like movies. I was talking to some of our staff the other day about this and they were all talking about this movie. I said I hate her. movie in this Christian movie and it felt like the Antichrist because I will say I hate that movie it's too perfect everything feels good.
I like my movies raw and one of the people who were around gave me a different perspective, they said well, when I go to the movies I don't spend 54 dollars on a movie ticket so I can see more than what's already in my real life because In my real life it's raw enough that I need my movies to be rated and yet now we have to talk about the Bible. the Bible today so we came to get it, the Bible is rated G for brave, yes, yes, so parental supervision is required to access this Bible, but every now and then you see something in the Bible like what we just read, you might ask.
Why is it there if there are so many verses we can use to communicate God's eternal plan of redemption to humanity? Not a very good scene in the movie, you might want to cut that one. Luke, take it away, move on to the next part where he teaches the Lord's Prayer, the Good Samaritan. What was good in this scene, yeah, I'm kind of happy because my life. It's not always very epic. I usually don't march to the Promised Land on Monday, obviously, I sit in the carpool line or send Holly to sit in a carpool line.
Let's be honest, so I'm glad God put some things in the Bible. that feels relatable, I mean the most epic thing that could happen to me this week. I could gain five more pounds on the bench press, which might be my most epic achievement this week, probably not. I have something on my shoulder, so the most epic thing that happened to me last week. This is a good Scripture because the most epic thing that happened to me last week. I don't know about you, but being able to see my son Elijah on that football field, oh he has such a good game he was getting rid of fools I counted five on one play and I'm telling you it was epic for you it's 8th grade football for I'm Rudy, I want to get that boy all my Soler out of the field and so many lessons.
What I need for my life is not how to deal with epic situations but just everyday situations in artha terms. Can I say anything else that you won't like since you're already wondering if I'm saved because I'm not? Like the Christian movies in this passage, my favorite character is the one Jesus corrected. You could also leave a record. I like Marta more than María. I know I'm not supposed to. I know that Jesus uses Mary as the heroine of this story. who is doing what he is supposed to do and sitting at the big feet and listening to her words and soaking up the revelation of the Savior, but have you ever tried it?
Have you ever tried to have Maria on your staff? She is my face, sometimes I like the wrong movies and sometimes I like the wrong characters. My favorite character in this story is the one who is shitting himself. I like people. Oh, stop it, you know, Martha had a Martha had a bad attitude and Mary has a. gofundme look note what the text says the text says that a woman named Marta thirty-eight opened her house to him. Martha is paying the mortgage, so before we hit Martha for being too busy, let's know if she went for Mary, Jesus would have done it.
I had to eat at the soup kitchen thank God for Martha before we destroyed her, we should really celebrate Martha. I like what that guy said on Twitter, that actor said that if you don't yell at your kids, you're not close enough to them. the sign of an absent father I never yell at my children mm-hmm you don't pick them up, drop them off or force them to do anything and one day they will be in prison because you don't yell at your children at all about us, Marta's parents, We are trying to keep our children.
I heard a man sound like Marta here. You like Martha. I like Martha. I like Marta because her name means teacher, that's what her name means and she's probably a widow. She is not mentioned. her husband she manages but when Jesus rebukes her he is correcting her distracted focus and verse 40 is important, let's read it she got distracted not by Candy Crush or Instagram but by all the preparations that had to be made and we know that Jesus He wants to eat. something and he corrects her for cooking for him that is strange to me that he rebukes the person responsible and as I reflected on it I began to see myself in Martha instead there was nothing really wrong with her actions what Jesus was correcting was her attitude she was distracted look this because of all the preparations that had to be made someone had to do it it was not what she was doing Jesus was not angry with Martha because she was busy in fact the reason he liked her house is probably because it was clean and the reason The reason he was clean is because she doesn't sit down and pray 23 hours and 59 minutes a day, but her attitude in this passage is what I want to see.
Don't I give you five things today and a little seminar format that will help those of you who feel distracted, the literal meaning of distraction is separated, what a great picture it is, that inside every mind that is trying to listen to me today there is a series of priorities that try to take them in different directions, that's why I would really do it. Say if you don't have to use your phone to write notes in church, don't do it if you could write them by hand, because maybe this can be a place where you don't get pinged, Bing, dinged and you.
You don't swipe anything or like anything or maybe this can be a place where you don't have to get notifications that nothing important is happening and yet you don't really need your device because your mind is divided, that's the distraction factory , You know? your mind not the person next to you not the things that await you when you return home but he said he was distracted it was not his actions it was his attitude I will stay there so you don't start to feel bad because you are overwhelmed you don't start to feel guilty I think I believe that guilt is the root of Martha's bad attitude in this passage and I will show you because there are five characteristics not of what is happening in the house of what is happening in Martha's heart and the movie in her mind. and the first thing we see here is that Martha goes from managing the situation to manipulating the situation and the first thing that makes a movie bad in my mind is a spirit of manipulation, manipulation is when I start

taking

the responsibility that God gave me has given legitimately.
Manipulation is a subtle change when I worry about something and instead of worrying about it and worrying about it or worrying about someone, I can easily find myself starting to try to control something that God has given me. I called to worry when you care deeply about something, it's very easy, without even knowing it, to fall into this Martha mentality where you find yourself doing the right things at the wrong level and we see that Martha has become manipulative in her approach here. because she tells Jesus what to say to his sister this is classic manipulation this is a very passive way of trying to get your way because some people manipulate with their words other people manipulate with their silence but my children try this trick on me very often Nice dad, do you want?
Please tell mom that we need more time for fifteen days. No, in fact, I will not tell mom that you need more time for fifteen days because she is my wife and we are a team and we are together and united and we are not a house. divided so don't bring your little manipulative spirit to me like I'm going to choose you over my wife. I can't French kiss you. I can French kiss her and if you think I'm going to lose points with her, I have my priorities clear.I know where my bread and butter is say it verdict and I think Martha is manipulating because she is being manipulated I think she is being manipulated by something inside her that needs everything to be right I think Martha had a script in her mind of how Jesus visits needed to go and in the script in her mind of how Jesus needed to come visit you know the movie in her mind she needs Mary here and Jesus here and the pots here and the pans here and the fish here and the chicken here and the uh and look at This Jesus arrives with 12 guys at his house in Bethany two miles from Jerusalem and someone has to make sure something is on the table, someone has to handle this.
I want to apologize for the preachers who don't know what the real world is like, the preachers who don't understand that if you are going to provide for your family, sometimes it will mean that you may not be able to be at church every weekend. I get it, I get that this is a priority for you, but I get that you're not perfect and that the manipulation that happens sometimes, even religious manipulation, can make you feel. Like you'll never win anywhere I can't be here a guy once said I'm going to be a preacher for my country no one ever said on his deathbed I wish I'd spent more time at work and the whole church said amen and the whole church He felt pretty bad and the whole church thought simultaneously, "I'm not on my deathbed yet and right now my kids need braces, so I can't say on my deathbed.
I wish I had spent more time at work, but When my kids need braces, I might need a little money and if I'm going to get a little money I might need to spend a little time at work and I'm really sorry I can't be the emotional provider and the financial provider, so you see what's happening. I'm getting distracted and now I feel pulled not between the good and the bad, but between two good things. Even though guilt will manipulate you and turn you into someone you're not and make you start lashing out, you start to feel. .
You know you're not really acting here, so now you want to blame someone else. There are all the preparations to do. This is the second attitude that I see in Martha and that I see in myself is the spirit of obligation. and it changes so quickly that it's right here in the text, if you read it it says that all the preparations that had to be made had to be obligations I have to go to work, no, no, I'm serious, you don't have to you don't have to look to your neighbor and tell him that you don't have to do it and if your neighbor didn't tell you that, say that you don't have to gather a group of disobedient Gentiles when the worship leader tells you that you know how to raise your hands you don't have to do that It was freedom for me.
It was both challenging and comforting because I was walking out the door on a Saturday night to preach. I guess my attitude wasn't in the best place and at that moment, a kid wanted this and a kid wanted that and they wanted me. saw something I think Graham had built a fort in the woods, but you know, a Ford in the woods is really nice. Friday is my day off, but on Saturday I have to preach a sermon. Yes, and I think sometimes our children need to see that they are not the center of the universe.
This is not a parenting seminar. Returning to the verdict of the text. All the preparations that had to be done. They had to be done. And I was going to walk out the door. I said I have to go preach. I have to go preach. God arrested me, the Holy Spirit, but I don't know how this works for you, but he stopped me in my tracks and God said, "You don't have to go." I have to go, don't show up and see if the world stopped spinning. I want you to do something for me if you have a minute this week.
I know you're busy, Martha, but if you have a second this week, write down everything you need. I have to do, I mean, make a big list of responsibilities for each of the exams that you have to study, because you don't have to study. I'll tell you to ask your

pastor

. I don't know what your parents are telling you. I will tell you that you don't have to study, you don't have to pass, you don't have to get a job, you don't have to live locked up when you're an adult and no one pays the bills anymore.
No need, I guess I think the spirit of obligation is the enemy of joy and what happens naturally is that things that once felt like a great opportunity start to feel like an obligation and that's how the enemy marries to begin with. to act out. Like Marta, I don't think this text is so much about two different women but about two different tendencies. I don't know about you, but the text said that Mary and Martha lived in the same house. Well, in my mind, Maria and Martha. I live in the same heart because I find moments where I am like Mary and I know what is important and I am not going to be moved and I am sitting in this moment and I take this opportunity and I am grateful for what God has given me and suddenly it arises of nothing.
I don't even see it coming around the corner, this Spirit of God, this spirit of mine, this spirit of the middle, but the moment I start to feel the pressure, I have to remember the privilege that I don't have to , I can do it. This is a privilege, people of God, we do not have to be in church. I didn't come to church today because I'm going to hell. If I don't, I came to church today, she is worthy of my praise. I want to worship him. I want to glorify him. I want to do it in the deepest places, in the recesses of my heart.
I want to praise the king of pigs. that he deserves, please never come to this church because you should never come here because you have two people walking from Benz Ville to get here because they want to because I want to because I want to look at the person. next to you smile I say I want I want to cook that food I want to wash those dishes I want to clean those counters God gave me the counters to have a lid to put on them so I want to get to the place where I am Not there, but Martha, stay

back

.
I'm going through a happy moment. I'm sitting here because I can not interrupt myself with your better half. I want to arrive. I'm going to. I'm about to do it. Fix it: I can do it now, take 10 seconds and praise him like no one is making you do it. You don't want to, you don't have to, but you are grateful that the gods are there. Go. I'm going to preach It's not necessary, but I'm going, I'm going after all, why is Martha so upset? It was his idea to take these people in in the first place.
This will help all of us who have left our sense. of obligation that really emanates from a place of genuine desire to be responsible but it is not our responsibility that Jesus rebukes is ours it is ours it is our heart it is not our hustle he likes to see you make the most of your day but don't just sit there at the game of your kids because someone else is at all their kids' games, someone else will go to too many games, leave that mediocre little soccer player and not do something you want to do, they probably won't score anyway, there won't be anything on video I'm playing Martha Martha you're not running around doing all these things we'd rather you were here we'd rather you were nice and the food tastes bad we're in we're here to be with you I don't think we believe that so we have to do things for God we could never believe that he cares more about us than about that, so what happens is we judge others, have you ever done this before, you've never done this. and now we have a courtroom called social media or we can deliberate all day.
She thinks that really suits her. He's too old to use. Someone has to tell the cashier. That's what Martin said. The cashier Jesus. Tell her that dress. She's too strict, cashier, she's 53, not 15, cashier, oh I know they can't afford to be on vacation, what are you her accountant, but now be careful because if you want to sit in the car seat judge you will end up being a victim of your own judgments the measure you use will be measured for you and then you might feel anxious because others are judging you but I wonder if you are a victim of your own decisions victimization tell her to help me she left me all the time Mary no No you send the invitation look at the text it says a woman named Martha look at it a woman named Martha opened her house so look at your neighbors they say this was your idea I don't understand people who come to church and look at their watch all the time It was your idea to come This was your idea Have you been complaining about the schedule You made You said yes to all this You're the one who overcommitted And then we run and want other people? to start treating our bad decisions as her urgent priorities Martha Martha why did she say it twice to get her attention?
She's running back and forth, you know, she's making noise in the kitchen so everyone knows because look Mary is at the feet of Jesus, it's just for the late Norman campus Martha Martha Raye says Martha, I'm talking to the Martha that is in me, I am speaking with that mentality in me, that victim mentality in me, she starts as a judge and ends as a victim, comparison will always kill satisfaction and she has no peace and that is what bothers Jesús Marta no I can wait to try your brussels sprouts you make the best brussels sprouts in Bethany I love the bacon you put on your brussels sprouts it's delicious well Jesus is Jewish we'll take it bacon but hello she was distracted, anxious, divided, worried and annoying, that's the problem is that she is interpreting, this is the fourth interpretation, the film in my mind is a foreign film and I start to interpret things in the sense of what I think they mean. and I'm starting to interpret the fact that people didn't check on me to mean that they don't care about me.
This is what happens to Martha when you have no margin and when you are operating trying to control things and manipulating the things that you have to do. do it you just have to do it in you you no longer have the feeling of getting there but you have to do it and you have to sit down it happens all the time it happens all the time that makes you a bad person it just means Martha Martha needs to sit down Martha a victim the owner of the house became a prisoner of its own idea in its own mind the movie is in its mind it is not my life that is driving me crazy it is my movie I feel the Holy Spirit I said I feel the Holy Spirit it is not mine it is not my life it is my mind and look what she says to Jesus she says Lord this verse 40 you don't care I'm Jesus like I don't really care about you but I don't care what you care about right now you have too many things on your mind that you think matter you have too many things on your list that you think you can't live without so your kids can't go to them they can't go to I can't go to what's the grocery store give me the grocery store I've heard some people say Whole Foods let's use Publix now you can now don't they can ride in Publix without a DVD they can't write it it's 12 minutes and we can't go 12 minutes without a movie in the back seat do you know how long I had to ride in silence after the batteries in my Walkman died and now you need a movie just to go down to the street the devil is a liar sit down? and think of something and pray to Jesus and sing me a song too much I don't care say it I don't care I don't care what you care Jesus said I don't care Lord you don't care she interprets the fact that he's not doing what she wants make it as a sign that he doesn't care about her and nothing could be further from the truth.
I care more about you Martha than you care about you and that's why I wish she would be here with me I'm sorry I feel the resistance because you say, yes, but it's okay, the traffic, I just put my mother in a nursing home, Hartford knows what happened to him, you think they are two different things. I did too. I thought Jesus was contrasting work and worship in this passage and I thought he was saying that worship is better than work. I went over it again and again because I thought that can't be right because throughout all of Scripture, like Paul says one time.
He says offer yourselves as a living sacrifice and whatever you make holy and acceptable to God, this is your spiritual act of worship, it is not some lip service, not a little song, not a little section, not some little Sunday thing, it is a matter of life, so if that is the case what is the contrast of Jesus? worship isn't really working Jesus wants me to get to the place where I can't tell the difference between the two and this doesn't mean you go around singing break it up with his coming to the pew that's not what I'm talking about and that's why I like it the video.
Ellie said she was doing an internship this summer. She's been in church forever, but she caught this on video. The interns were serving in our staff advance and are preparing to shoot down. and the presence of God was hidden in the auditorium but they were not there, they were preparing to mop and sweep floors and move tables and move chairs and rearrange and do all the work things but in the middle of the work the worship broke outside and there was a monitor and a star girl banging her head, you see her and a guy was on his knees and someone else had his hands up and a white guy was clapping at the wrong beat and it's a very normal scene, but what?
What happened next is what I want to tell you, take it down, then they went and mopped, then they went and swept, then they went and worked, after worshiping, so the strategy is this: God wants me to give, but I must fill myself first if I don't. I will not be filled first I will be ministering and living in emptiness and when I am living in emptiness I am divided I am distracted I am needy and I am and I am and I am living I am living my life at the level of what I expected, that is the final element of this passage What I want to mention is the expectation because as we think about the movie in our minds and we have spelled the word movie now with these different attitudes in this passage to realize that it is not what is happening in our lives many times, it is what is happening in our lives compared to the way we write them in our minds Martha Martha I know you expected married to help and I know you expected me to make Maria help but don't move Maria, you're in the right place, she's sitting at the feet of the Lord. doing what listening you can't interpret what God is doing if you never stop talking and listening and hearing what Jesus wants to do what you want that's what I need to ask see what you're doing right now what's important right now the contrast is not between work and worship the contrast is between Minnie and one Jesus said Martha you worry about too many things you are doing too much you would be extra right now Martha and there is only one thing needed at this time there is only one thing needed at any given time and wisdom is to discern that, but to discern that, let me show you what you can't do and bring me a lot here, thank you, just put it there in that place and I want to show you. where Martha was sitting with her thank you I appreciate you I know you didn't have to do it but you wanted to appreciate because in Martha's mine she was directing the movie and really she was just an extra let me break this down and then we'll go and get distracted and we'll go back to our crazy lives and we'll go back to our crazy minds and worry about stupid things, but for a moment while we're here now I want us to think about the inclusion of this seemingly insignificant story in the Bible about two women fighting, call Hollywood, which will make a original script, no, no, this is just one scene because a little later, Mary and Martha will call Jesus to return to Bethany.
You know the story here. It doesn't have an ending because I would love to see what Martha said to Jesus. I think one didn't make the cut. I don't know if he was qualified. I don't know what she said. Can. Image I can picture Martha I can picture Martha I'm Victor Martha, well, while you and Mary sit and sing, I'll come back here and flip these burgers and you all will let you know when some, but look at Martha, you did. We don't learn it right away, we usually don't because when Mary and Martha sent for Jesus to come and heal their brother Lazarus because he was very sick, Jesus didn't show up and deliver his lines according to his script, so what Marta says here. she's like you look camera Jesus come here she says ah I'm not going to do your casting today I'm going to be a little late because I have a different script in yours you expect me to show up and heal your brother and in your mind and your movie in your mind I show up I heal I save my line be healed I save my line you get married at 23 I save my line you and your husband are married happily ever after I save my line everything works out I save my line you get the job, I saved my line, it works just like you wanted, I saved my line, you get the house, I saved my line, you finish college, I saved my line and you, your sister is cured, your brother is cured, but I'm not.
I'm going to say my line. I have something else in mind this time, like I'm working from a different script. The Bible says that when Jesus finally arrived in Bethany, Martha heard verse 20 of John, chapter 11, that Jesus was coming and I love this contrast. He went out to meet him but Maria stayed at home with her hand on her hip waiting on the road for this rabbi who came and ate my food but did not appear to heal my brother and while she had her hand on her hip Maria's head was on his pillow Mary hasn't even gotten out of bed Mary is still crying Mary appears and says to Jesus you're not very good at this Lord if you had been here my brother wouldn't have died didn't you get the script you were supposed to be? here for at least four days and here now you are late and I expected you back then and you just show up now, but I know verse 22 that even now God will give you everything you asked for, she is still trying to work with Jesus, you know how Hello when I start shopping in her it's like you are so strong how you carry so many bags Bassem's Mace I'm not very smart it works with me but Jesus will not be manipulated Jesus told her your brother will rise look at her she has a script yes, he will rise in the resurrection on the last day I already read that part because I wrote the script Gus this is my movie I know what is supposed to happen this is my life Mary is supposed to help and you are supposed to heal and I know how this is going Jesus told him I I am the resurrection and the life and he who believes in Me will live even if he has died so Mary wrote a healing script Martha wrote a healing script Jesus flipped the script and gave them something greater than they could know expect or request or guess that they won't be happy with it you're not happy with the fact that you don't have to direct this movie you don't have to make the movie you don't have to imagine Find out how it ends.
Remember when we were watching that Quentin Tarantino movie, the edited version of Halle and it seemed like it was going to have a certain ending and you asked me who made this movie again and when I told you who made it you said oh? I know how this ends because if I know who made it I said yes I know who made it yes I know who made the movie I know how this ends and I declare in the name of Jesus today your movie does not end like this your movie does not end in shame and your movie does not end this race but Martha Martha for Jesus to do what he wants to do you will have to stop being the director you will have to sit like this sometimes like Mary I believe There is a Mary in all of us who knows where to sit and knows what is important and who knows how to walk in step with the Holy Spirit and I believe there is a Martha in all of us who means well but tries to do too much and have a heart like Mary in a world like Martha sometimes you have to be misunderstood and sometimes you will have to make decisions about what's important to you that doesn't align with what seems to be important to this pill-popping world and sometimes you'll have to say things about our family and our commitments and things that people will misunderstand.
I'd rather be misunderstood as Mary and then distracted as Martha came to talk to you about the movie in your mind your expectations my expectations of how life is supposed to be I know now the movie God is making is much better than the one I you have written and I never forget when the Lord spoke to me if I always met your expectations I could never exceed them if I always made your film. I couldn't do mine, so Lord, I want, I want to be busy like Martha because I need, I need, I need to take care of my father's business, but I really want a heart like Mary's that knows when to sit back and listen and let you do what yours. work Martha Martha this is not your place it is not your place to judge others it is not your place you are stressing yourself out trying to manage other people's decisions just make your own it is enough it is enough I hope this message reaches Marta today in every heart just say you're doing the right things but you don't have to do them this way you know I have to live with regret even for the mistakes you made because this is not your chair you need a new director you need a new movie Someone who knows how the story ends , stand up, so we will leave this chair, this role for the only one who knows how the story ends.
