Tragic to Magic/Wasn’t expecting that Dipping on bubble wrap disaster to master/ two for one

on the bottom. in my big old one, this was one of my lazy susans from a big outdoor table that I had and I used to use it a lot when I started serving, sorry, but yeah, it's been painted a lot, but I'm using it now. because I want to dip it, this was a canvas that I did before and I

wasn

't happy with the result, so what I did yesterday was go over it with a regular coat of white acrylic, right there, I'm not sure how. it turns out that today I'm going to dip into that and if I still have enough there, I'll delve into an MDF placement.

I will get these locations at Kmart in Australia. You can cut the MDF rounds in several places. Yes, sorry, now I have an isolated cold bean and apparently I don't have the virus, but I do have a cold. I don't feel bad, but I'm getting a little hoarse, so this is the plan I followed. my bubble wrap and someone asks me if they are all flat or bubbly. Well, all bubbly. I haven't, although it's great therapy to have a piece of this and sit there like a fool, but I just burst anyway. I put it here and I just secured it with some masking tape and I'm going to go in depth like I said on that canvas that I didn't particularly like.

Today I'm going to use my Montmartre paints, beautiful, thick, creamy and I'm using them with the clear PVA glue. I have the pour over recipe. My links to vendors are below in the dropdown box, so go play, so that's the plan I'm going to follow. I'll explain the colors as I go. but I love making backgrounds and they usually always turn out really pretty, so this is just my plain white, so I'm going to go around the edges with my white. I've made a marker there, a white marker, a black marker to show where the edge of my canvas goes, so basically I don't go over that area and I probably don't go all the way to the edge with my colors, that's why I'm putting this white in the bubble wrap.

Now some people say what a difference it makes. put the bubble wrap in there, I just find them on the finished canvas, sometimes it can give a dotted effect, it just gives like a texture effect now, if you can hear the sound of the bird in the background, black, yellow tail black. cockatoos and we don't see them very often here, but the last few days for some reason they've been flying around like twenty-two of them, they've been flying around our property landing in the trees at least four or five times a day, so I'm not sure what that means, if anything, but it's a really strange thing, like the good thing is happening, so I'm going to pour the V's into the Chevron, even in this round I'm going to do my Chevron because it always looks so effective.

It's a really beautiful hobby. so you know what better time than now then that was the white of the Montmartre studio this is good I think it was so these are a little I think this was the magenta in Montmartre those were that is the color chart of the new colors that are coming In Montmartre, it's basically going all over the surface, what you're going to pour into these Chevron patterns, you can hear those yellow-tailed black cockatoos, that's what they're called.

Try to find a photo of them if I can't get one. Add to the end of the video, show you what they look like, they're pretty rare even in Australia I'm told, but like I said, for some reason they're in our house, maybe they know something we don't. I know I hope it's okay, so next in line is the bright red, this is the bright red, so I'm going to go all out with my colors. I want something bright and uplifting today. I feel like something bright and uplifting. I think we all need something shiny. and uplifting, so I say, yes, if anyone knows why the cockatoos started settling here over the last few days.

I don't know about the word high, they were high and off the mountain. Oh, I don't know if that has anything to do with it. I don't like? I said we see them maybe a couple of times a week passing by usually in the late afternoon from wherever they have been during the day or eating, but like I said over the last few days, boom here. Okay, let me go with the beautiful turquoise. You know how much I love turquoise, so we'll do this. The students continue their Chevron Partners all over the place with them, but I'm just trying to keep the chevron type of pattern.

I'm going everywhere Nana, it's okay, I only have a little bit left there, so I won't waste it. It's a lot of fun depending on the Chevrons, like when the Chevrons dip into the bubble wrap. It's something for beginners, even for a beginner you will get a lovely result, which is why I always advise, even if you are recently venturing into this particular art of pouring crellick, he has tried the Chevron first, if you haven't. I my supplies and a lot of porous so your supplies are below and if you are in the US there is a link and Canada there is a link that they gave me to the Montmartre distributors link that's all I can give you so they're all there there are links to beginner videos I'll probably put this on a playlist. the videos for beginners because it's a nice easy style to start with, but it's also great for the poorer ones, okay, I've probably put too much in as I normally paint here, but I'm hoping to dip into different things.

In that to get the most out of that paint, you might be able to fix something very dark in there to make it stand out, so I'm going to use purple, I'm just going to try to do this very carefully. I don't want everything. it disappears into my canvas and then the purple takes over but it's really nice it makes all those other colors pop when you have a really nice dark contrast and of course the dark purple or the crimson are really pretty and they're really good colors to make. that, so I just hope I saved that canvas that I didn't like.

I didn't scratch it at the time because I thought, oh, maybe I like it, but I didn't, so I just like it. I just painted it over. I just put on a normal coat, nothing special, it's not a base coat or anything, so I hope it dries well and doesn't crack. It shouldn't work because I haven't done it before. Right here, let's go. Try it and of course you never know what you're going to get so I really hope this is a blast so I'm going to stick with this so I just hope this does the right thing okay.

I usually put some thumbtacks on the bottom of this to kind of help you lift it up, but I think I can do that pretty easily because it's got nice thick sides, so I'm like, yes, please. Try this, you can just use something to slide and you know special tools, but I think my hand is enough and if you find that when you pick it up, the painters miss some particular spot once the flies come out, oh my goodness. Yes, if you find that when you lift it up the painters miss a particular spot, don't worry, just deep down, I have a little balloon or deepen the color and then dip it back into the canvas so there's nothing to you can not. oh, look at this, I can turn it over now, but I don't really need it, so I'll just give it a good press, it's very pressing, okay, here it goes, here it goes, let's see what this is, oh no, that's out, because? that's gone like that dead like that that's gotten really muddy now I usually don't understand it so I'm wondering why okay it's not as good as I expected and it might scratch I'll put it aside for a second it usually comes out comes out nice and crisp so which obviously maybe my paints maybe too thin this time because they usually come out sharp like this so I think my paints are too runny or I'll just put too much in there I'll just try a little bit of white in there to see if I can save it but still It's the first time I've had a canvas in my day and I think because I made these paintings on purpose for a hit that I've been doing the last few days and I did it on purpose Ronnie.

I'm going to add a little bit of silver, but I obviously don't want to waste any more paint if this just isn't going to work, so there you have it. something I learned is that if you are doing a deep turn up, make your painting a little bigger. I'm just trying to get up here what thicker paints I have, I have a Viridian. I could try. I just give it a go and if I mess this up completely, what I'll do is I'll spray it and start over, but obviously not with thin paint, this definitely turned out that way because the paints are thin.

I can already see it, so just try it with this and we'll try it and if not I'll scrape it off, there's not much I can do about it, the colors around the edges will be imported. It would have been, but it turned out very shady, so I'm NO, that has to be removed, but I'm going to show it to you because I want you to see what not to do. Well, now this is difficult because I have nothing to take out. Look at this, maybe I'll push it. Going back down that would have been pretty nice, but look at all the parts at least or I planned.

I'll use my balloon on the colors and lift it up again and show it to you. Just give me a second. Oh look. That's nice, just give me a second because I can't. I'll pick it up again and show you what I've got when I'm done pushing this balloon out which actually turned out pretty cute, so I might have to move around. Check it out. So that was just pushing the balloon. I pushed it towards those other colors so I might try that. Maybe I can save the other one by kissing the balloon. I need to push it down and I can't move this out of the way without getting it.

Guys, what I could do is go back to that, I'll just rearrange everything and go back, I'll just go to the tragedy, go back to this position and deeper, what I did turned out to be quite beautiful. I'm really happy. with that one the mistake was definitely that my paints were too thin in the bathroom and had gotten muddy, so I might as well give it a try, that's not going to work. I don't know if this will work. I'm going to try to leave the edges, but do balloon dips in the nice bright colors, if not, I'll just have to see.

I love this edge, but I don't like it, obviously, this is all just mud. Look at those nice bright colors there, although ah, okay, don't do it. make your dips fine, not very fine anyway so like this I'm just thinking I'll try to dip into the paint that I balloon kiss, let's see no, no, I don't like it, okay, what can we try? Okay, I'm going to scrape the ley, I'm going to scrape it off, but I have to work fast if you're going to use one that you scraped because you have to, if you're going to pour it right away, you have to do it while the paint is still wet, I'll try to turn it over. the cup or passing it over, that's what I'll try, so this is, yeah, people get stuck and say, You know what I do?

It doesn't always go as you plan. with the orange, so if you get stuck like that and it's really horrible, you know it's not a good paint, go over it right away, well there's two things to learn there, you get rid of the paint right away like I did o Like the previous one, the painting was to call it there, but I didn't. I just poured it out so I just put a layer on it so there are quite a few lessons to learn from this particular video and yet I'm not showing you how to put my glitches on. with my successes because I don't believe at all that people just want to see someone having success after success, they really want to know what to do if they get into a jam, so it's not just about the perfect painting for people, so there You're going to see my absolute madness here.

I want to put some of that purple. I know it's a bit shocking, but hey, should I slide the purple decisions? I might add a little bit of this beautiful cerulean blue. Look, I have. I got these to be a completely thicker mix because I mix them for a different batch of paints I'm going to makethis afternoon, so I'm using them now. I hadn't planned to do it. I plan to wear the thinner ones, but you know, life changes, look, look at this with us now for all of us, life is changing, who would have thought?

You know this could happen to us. The mini was probably a thought, but I just hoped and prayed that nothing would disturb our comfort. lives, but certainly ours and we all have to be kind, move on, help each other. I think it's probably a test for all of us to see if we will love your neighbor. Help each other instead of going crazy so everyone has. to be patient with each other I am NOT going to do it. I have all these colors reserved here. I wanted to use that purple, but I will in the next pour.

Julie fiying took all those nice moments. bright colors and I covered them which was a white with a little bit of gold and believe it or not this is this color here so I would really like to add a little bit more now do I slide the bright red or do I slide an ok?

I'm just going to put in a tiny little bit of the purple, get it back on track and I'll slide in the magenta. This is one of the new colors, so I'll use the swipe from the center. I'm trying to make a very very thin line, okay, it's probably very thin, but I'm going to get a good one. I'll slip it off with a sheet. I was rubbing my fast move, but I thought I'd try doing it using a blade. Yeah, I forgot to put the glove back on, so I'll do it with this soft plastic file divider that's probably too thin, but I'll see if I can get around.

There you go, you think it's thin, but look at that. Oh look, even the C suck is getting cloudy, the paint is too thin for what I'm working with today, so even with those paints I'll have to work with them and thicken them again, I'm not too worried about that. because I'm going to, oh, I was thinking that I was on the spinner and it's not just on a Duva try, I'm sorry if this is a long video for you guys, but now you have plenty of time to try it. make it quick, bear with me, I'm sorry, I'm still a little tighter dear, dear, but that's because those pants are too skinny.

I put it thinking a little better about my colors to not allow it. to get muddy but I'll get my wonder wand yeah don't google wonder wand google if you want one of these hot ones if you're in Australia the link is below but wonder one jelly doesn't show up when you google . That's how it should be, yeah, don't Google it, oh, I think I'm going to do one in another. I'm thinking about the future again. I love these bright colors that have come out, but these are also the colors that I have mixed because they are too thin if I had placed them differently thinking about the colors on the color, this looks quite pretty and I'm pretty much like you need it, but I'll certainly use the balloon because it's a little gelatinous, it flies like that.

In fact, I would go to my little water balloon, isn't it just a little one? It's just a normal sized balloon that I put water in, so I'm going to show it to you real quick, so don't stop any longer, oh my gosh. look at that, that was the most important thing, this I can certainly make treasure out of a sow's ear, that's what they say, oh my goodness, look at that, look at the balloon, it makes the colors pop beautifully, so I'll go around Julie and I would fight with my little balloon, but I'm going to let it dry a little because it looks like there's too much paint in there, but that will make those beautiful colors pop, so thank you all for putting up with me during this crazy episode. on my channel trying to do things correctly, but thanks again, it turned out lovely.
