Here we had our parent board, our parent information, the menu, a calendar, etc., but we moved it to another part of our

classroom

This is my office space and you can take a look there real quick, but we will do a

tour

or a formal tour in the office at a different time we use our system called glow wheel on our iPad, that's where parents sign in and we use those bins that were like teachers' storage here we have a magnetic board, it's quite a trip that we got from one of the auto supply stores, but we use it for different interactive activities right now, we have an activity with the theme of rainbow where the kids can put together our rainbow, but we do several different things on that magnetic board throughout the date, this is where I keep my puzzles could generate some additional magnets, as you can see we have tons of trays, you have trays too metal for magnets and I bought these magnets at Target.

I love them, they have little faces and they were at the top of the dollar. at Target, which is an added bonus, so there are some cute little shapes that kids can put on the magnetic board at the Magnetic Center and have these magnetic boards, most of them from the Dollar Tree, and the nice thing about them is that you can really wear them. Right to the table with the basket of magnets probably works better with some smaller magnets and what I'm using now, but with a basket of magnets take them to the table and then it becomes a tabletop activity.

It's also okay to jump right into our block area, which right now my centers are not very close together and organized because there are really blocks everywhere, but here we have some big dinosaurs, farm animals, smart max wooden blocks, we have some wooden blocks from trees and some gears, bristle blocks and trains. tracks and my dad was super awesome and made that shell for us. It needs another coat of paint, but I've had it forever because it's so durable. Here I have our children trays to take

home

where they take their work. I love rainbows. You'll see a lot of rainbow things in my classroom and up on the shelves right there is where we keep our summer arts and crafts supplies, but that will have to wait another day to show you the inside here are our trays as we were.

Speaking of above, this is where our kids take

home

all the work they take home in their arts and crafts. We have several manipulatives here. We have some Legos. I'm our little five piece. I think I'm actually sorry. A six-piece rainbow. kit, these are some little foam blocks, oh they got them at Dollar Tree and I added some velcro so the kids can stack them, it's kind of nice, whoops, what is this doing here? It seems like a small bill, but this is where we are. I have excessive manipulators here is our home area as of now it's a drama but it's in a home area you know I bought this from Amazon and it's been a piece of garbage it cost about a hundred dollars it lasted so long Once the day before all the doors fell down and everything was broken, this tape like this IKEA and a couple of chairs were painted black and we had two levels painted or they were just the natural color up here it's more like teacher stuff and storage because as teachers we accumulate a lot of things and this is where I moved my parent information board, it's a little smaller.
I have our licensing requirements posted here and this is like a holiday. I have blood centers. throughout the class there are puppets that we actually got almost all of our puppets were donated by a great friend of mine, marina, she used to be a home delivery provider and she started working with me and brought us a whole ton of puppets, this is one of our favorites from the children hello new hello I'm a kangaroo and kangaroo has a little bag for his zoo Joey is adorable I've always been a parent and a teacher, I'm a big fan of books and reading, if there's nothing else you do with your child, there's nothing whatever you do with your students, please read to them, it's just an amazing learning tool, so our classroom is always full of books, we have tons of books that the kids can use and at their discretion, they can go get what Whatever you want, but these are your bookshelves and your basket of books back here.
I also have some of our magnetic boards that you may have seen in my previous YouTube videos. I use a lot of felt boards and magnetic Bors bulletin boards to help with our learning activities and provide tangible practice. items for children to use in our lessons. I actually made this felt board, it's just a piece of old felt that I glued with a little hot glue to the back of a bulletin board, so now I have two boards I can use. in one and I just store them here to keep them out of the way when not in use.
It's actually a very good place for them here. I just have some little decorative things on top of my shelf. There is one of my photos. which one of my

preschool

ers painted for me and on my wall they have just typical letters and art gallery, some numbers on the other side, since this is also my house and especially the main entrance of my house, I try to make sure she feels very cozy. and a smooth transition to our decorating style. I get a lot of questions about where I get my furniture so this piece here was from Ikea and within this I have like all my teacher tools activities that I use regularly or if I'm using it during the week for a theme I can reach there, get out what I need, there are a lot of little counters, manipulatives, language activities, homemade curriculum, that kind of thing here.
I have many different toys and materials that the children can take out. During learning centers or free time these are magnetic tiles and the cube is actually out of shape but these magna tiles are a favorite in our class. I've had older brothers come. I have children that I started from the age of 2. and I even have a 10 year old and he even plays with the magna tiles, so I was demonstrating here how you can build with them in case you don't have them in your program, but it is by far my favorite thing. in our classroom it's the magna tiles which are never put down, they're always out and they're just a really fun tool to play with another teaching tool that we really love in our classes, the skwiggs, they're a great fine motor tool and it's just fun Play with them.
I actually bought them at a toy store that used to be local here in Mansfield. Here is another one of those IKEA shelves where you can have the organizational containers and these are four types of papers, mostly, I know where my paper is when I need it here is something of ours inside that cabinet, we have more right there arts and crafts stuff and I read a lot here, so we have some teacher books that I don't usually leave with the kids. I messed with our teachers' books just because I wanted to be in good condition and there's our dollhouse and every one of our favorites.
We actually just got this new dollhouse over the holidays and it moves everywhere. We actually moved this dollhouse. regularly to Chi, just move it out of the way and in here is where we keep our rolled up mats for nap time. Oh my gosh, look how messy it is not here, but we can use rolled up nap bags and our kids put them on. on top of the red and blue vinyl mats, so here's our area and generally when school is in session, when we have all our students and we're not dealing with kovat, we have markers and crayons, scissors, glue, stickers and pieces of paper. that they might use at the time to do little arts and crafts or sometimes I put words on that little black pocket chart over there and I put certain light words or names or things that we're working on and over here and This is another question that I receive frequently: Where do I get our tables?
My dad actually made these tables. He wanted to make sure, like I said, I wanted to make sure that our classroom was an extension of our home and he made this table a dream. A reality, these chairs are so durable that we bought them on Amazon and had them for ourselves. I mentioned how much I loved a little shelf under our tables because we can store our manipul or table activities right under the table and the kids can pull it out. when you need it, but I'm going to zoom in on this is our class and thank you very much for watching our tour today.
