who it's always interesting to get into

this

for the first time in a long time, welcome back everyone, just headed to Mil Creek for a quick spin. It's been a while since I've made a video here, just a short one today, but I'll link it to some other videos I've made for anyone who wants to see a little more of

this

fun little Network R the T boy today. I think this is only the second video I've made and that's what I want to talk about. Here's how I've been improving the

bike

and how my rting has changed, but first, uh, let's run down methane alley.

It's kind of a main descending trail, there are also a couple of jump lines here that we got to a little later. big lizard, good rain yesterday so it should be hero land here today, fun little section coming up, couple of puddles, nothing to worry about, this place handles the rain better than anywhere else in the Earth, well, here we go, wow, very fun, going back to about 2 years ago I had quite a different ride than I do now. I primarily rode Norcos horse

bike

s and had been doing so for a while and was pretty burned out.

More Interesting Facts About,

He had had a super flow season in every round and wanted to do it. I did a bit more gravity riding and stuff like that so I bought an electric bike which was just as Sydney was going into three months of non-stop rain, which really and I didn't ride a bike much, it kind of happened. From then on, the racing bug began to return. I started having a little more fun events, like the Green Valley sign downhill states, that kind of thing and I got really excited and started thinking about getting a shorter travel bike. I also thought. the advantage of doing that would be to increase racing fitness, a little technical climb might speak on top of this, it's pretty good for these things.

I must admit that the pedals maintain good traction very well, steep angles, steep angle, steep enough seed angle in their power. I say the

trails

are in very good condition, take it, it's always interesting getting into this for the first time in a long time, it could have had a full ride for a little over 130k. The fork was a bit interesting for this one after doing some research. I decided on the tour guy, my local bike shop Studio started stocking them so that was a plus as well as being able to get bikes, parts and assistance in case I had any issues so close to home but I made me realize something and that. is that I should ride bikes that are bigger than a big and you can see that because I have a lot of Stack, I have a 35 mil bar riser stem that is a tall boy and this right here is a 35 mil dropper post. 210k and I still have a lot of room once I realized it was bad news because I noticed the same thing on the Enduro bike I was riding at the time and there was something else about the bike that I really liked and that's how the suspension platform just worked it worked great, it really didn't take long until I made the decision to buy the mega tower, so it was all about wanting to get a little fitter, wanting to have a little more fun on quiet

trails

and everything cascading up to some big shifters, okay I'm going to go up Black Hawk and down a lovely little climb, this one is really gentle.

I think the climb is actually easier than the Traverse at the top, which is pretty tough, so we'll go up there and bomb Blackhawk. it's one of the jump tracks here and then we'll chat some more here we go, I haven't ridden Black Hawk in a while, I've done a lot of laps, although this bike is a little poppier than other bikes. I've ridden here, go down the Gap, court, man, which is grueling for less than a minute, going through the pump action now, which is the main descent on the west side of the network. I haven't owned too many bikes like the tboy.
Before, the closest was definitely the Norco Optic, which is one of my all-time favorite bikes, but even though they are similar on paper, Geo and Travel, I think the Optic rides a little more like a short ride on a Jurob bike and that wasn't what I It was after this time I even looked at full blown cross country bikes, however I'm glad I didn't buy one of those because, yeah, the fit and ride feel This is similar to an Inura bike, especially with that height. The front end I have on, but it still pedals well enough to be able to do big XC rides with XC riders and, you know, you still make it possible or as possible for a 40 year old dad on Juro. and what makes short travel bikes so much fun, at least in my opinion, is exactly what I'm doing now.
You know, this network is a lot of fun on a bike like this, but it's not as fun on something that's much bigger, so they make the Tamer Trails more fun, you can have fun and scary times without taking as much risk as when you're on big trucks and it's much easier to just slide on a bike like this, it's lighter, it's faster to move so you can cover more distance in a short period of time, it's a fun track and it's quite difficult on a bike with this small travel and Recon tires, so the tall guy was responsible for me evaluating and selling an injury bike and purchasing another one that is quite expensive.
If you think about it that way, it also revealed to me the end of the e-bike, the combination of pedaling more trying to stay fit and the kind of enjoyment I get from just riding a very light Snappy bike versus a not-very-light, not-very-ear. Snappy. bike around me that was just sitting there with flat tires which is a bit embarrassing but I get few opportunities to get out and ride and I found myself gravitating towards other bikes now, it's probably too wet, yeah that's it. thousand Creek today thank you for traveling with me. I hope you enjoyed being on a different bike and riding a different network to the things we normally do and if not we'll be back to doing other things soon thanks for watching.
See you next. time
