We'll get a great deal, so we'll talk less and buy more. Let's walk down CBS walking down the

shampoo

and conditioner aisle here. I don't see any that are Bobby approved, but I do see many of the more popular brands that people use every day. and here's a great example of one, this is Garnier Sleek and Shine and it's hard to see the ingredients but above see what it says there SLS now there are other issues here but you will find something called sodium lauryl sulfate in almost all shampoos and that's a problem because it's an exfoliating agent, it's actually the same exfoliating agent that they put in toothpaste that you should also avoid, but this is such a good exfoliating agent, I mean, a strong one that doesn't just clean your hair , but, by the way, I cut my hair this morning, eh, not bad at all.

Not only does it clean your hair, but it also strips your hair and scalp of many of the natural oils and moisture it contains, can make your hair brittle, and is such a strong exfoliating agent that it can irritate your scalp and I have a sensitive so whenever you see SLS or sles in an abrasive shampoo, put it back in so we'll put the Garnier back in and then this is something that I think I used to use in the past, this argon. oil stuff here it looks like it's a premium shampoo and it's very hard to see the ingredients, it doesn't have SLS but it has a lot of other stuff here, see at the bottom, artificial colors should be avoided, I'll tell you why a little later but see all these pegs here the pegs have all these different numbers after them the pegs are almost always petroleum based petroleum is toxic you don't want that on your skin so this is a no but maybe it is the most egregious offender is something I used to use back in the day for dandruff and dry scalp, the classic Head and Shoulders and you know, all these A-list actors.

I remember Sofia Vergara was shaking her hair in these commercials for her head and shoulders, they're not using it. I promise, so look at the ingredients on the back here and again, an artificial blue color is how you get them. I'll talk about that in another hallway. You want to avoid that, but sometimes with these chemicals you can't necessarily. Pronouncing them doesn't mean they're bad, but I can't pronounce these two here. I don't want to butcher them, but they are horrible, horrible preservatives. One of them is known as a neurotoxin, which you will learn. many of the ingredients here are endocrine disruptors, hormone disruptors or neurotoxins and the other is a very strong preservative that can be a major irritant to the skin, so in this case I would recommend not using it because the ingredients are bad, you will notice it in In this video, many of the ingredients are neurotoxins or endocrine disruptors, they affect hormones, especially in women, and are directly related to fertility problems.
I wonder why we have such a problem with infertility in this country, so for uh and around the world. To be honest, for shampoo and conditioner I don't see the ones here. My favorite, the one I use at home, is a cure, it's easily available, it's not that expensive and in fact, I just looked on Thrive Market, they have it on sale right now for a great price and of course when you click my link below you get 30 off your first order and the free gift so a healing shampoo and conditioner is great when I have a dry scalp.
I no longer wear the Sofia Vergara stuff I wear. something called Avalon Organics is not perfect but it is very clean compared to this, but I would stay away from these regular products because of the ingredients, they are just not good for you and your scalp. The dirtiest secret in personal care products is actually something. They call fragrances and if I pick up a secret, there goes Secret. pH balance for a woman, but strong enough for a man. If I pick up almost anything in the personal care aisle, I don't care what it is, you're almost always going to do it. see the word fragrance fragrance son or parfum if you see those two words fragrance or parfum is the cosmetic world's version of natural flavors.
The problem is that it is even worse than natural flavors, it is not regulated but they can use up to 3000 ingredients, including chemical preservatives. anything to make the perfume or fragrance and they won't tell you it's patented and many of those ingredients are incredibly irritating to your skin. avoid fragrance or perfume. This also has a

deodorant

in it, it's just something you don't want to put on your skin. because it's got the pegs and the petroleum based preservatives so I'm just going to put those back there and I wouldn't use any anti um by Sprint or anything like that that has a spray in there because what's the first ingredient here holy crude butane alcohol. to push it out of the can, but in your armpits, a sensitive part of your body is put under a spell, not even something that people think is premium like this here looks cool, right?
If you see the active ingredient here, propylene glycol, look, you see these ingredients. I don't even know what they mean, but once you learn about propylene glycol, that's the chemical or ingredient that makes it soft and silky when you put it on your armpits, the problem is that it's a known hormone disruptor and skin irritant. skin when you see it. it's at just two percent in the ingredients, well when it's the first ingredient here, that means it's probably 50 or more below your Pence, known as a skin irritant or hormone disruptor, no, no, fortunately , there are very good options, uh, I think Schmitz is one. loom is one.
I'll put a full list of the ones Bobby approved below. I don't really see any here, but luckily there's one, oh here we go, here's one, this guy, Crystal Crystal, the normal one is the one Bobby approved, you're not going. to see any of those nasty ingredients here, but there are a lot of really good ones, I'll put a full list below, stay away from the traditional ones, it may be pH balance for men and women, but you don't want it, I finally see it. some bobby approved personal care products boom bulldog body wash boom Castile soap is good but every time you look at most body washes here was that comedian who says body wash you have to wash your body.
I forget who it is, but every time you see a colored one. So, then, get into that lavender color. Spoiler alert. They are getting it from artificial colors like blue number one. Why is that a problem? Artificial colors are almost always derived from tar and petroleum and petroleum-based colors in your body's skin. when you're eating food products with that, no, no, so put it back, but even when you get things that don't have the color like the dial, here you see the ingredients, they have the pegs but they also have sodium lauryl sulfate, the scrubbing. agent that strong exfoliating agent on your body no, see how this builds up so quickly?
Like I said, you think food products are bad when you eat them. Cosmetics are worse, all these irritants, endocrine disruptors and things like that on your skin. no, no, but on the other hand you have something like this Bulldog, he actually uses his shaving cream, look at this, you don't see any of the harsh cleaning agents, you don't see any pegs, but you do see the word fragrance in there, fragrance with a star, wait a second, Bobby, you just said fragrances are bad, they're made up of 3,000 mysterious ingredients, lots of irritating chemicals, they don't have to tell you what they did, but there I did say that, but the star means go to your website what is your fragrance made from natural essential oils real essential oils premium products will have fragrances but they are always made with essential oils no mystery ingredients BS so this is great this is also great just regular castile soap this is just one hundred percent all natural you see the ingredients here look this is plant based this is great um Dr Bronner's also makes a castile soap you can never go wrong with castile soap um I like Dr Browner's bar so by the way, do you? you're on team bar soap or Teen Mom body wash.
I'm a bar soap guy, this stuff goes to waste and goes down your body. Dr. Bronner's bar soap is great and, uh, Alafia Alafia is a good body wash too, but in the store here boom bulldog and any type of castile soap is the way to go to avoid the other things that don't you want them to have on your body why what's that guy's name? Gaff Gaffigan Jim Gaffigan yes I see a lot of

lotions

that people use daily and scan with the Bobby approved the app and now that cold and flu season is coming up and the weather is getting colder you will be using more things like this lotion from This company and these contain Public Enemy Number One, a really bad ingredient with dramatic thunder outside. methylparaben paraben in that one and I used to use Cetaphil as a face cleanser, actually the face cleanser isn't that bad.
I no longer use it, but the lotion should be avoided because it is not one paraben, methylparaben, but two parabens, propylparaben. even worse than the other, parabens are one of the

worst

ingredients you can find in personal care products, they are there as preservatives, their main job is to prevent the growth of bacteria in lotions, potions and Goos, but they are rated as really bad because they are high in endocrine disruptors and mimic estrogen in the body and, curiously, they find more parabens in women's bodies and bloodstream because they put more pairs of pins in their makeup and in potions and substances sticky ones that women use all over the world.
The body and men don't use it as much and by the way if you want to learn more about these ingredients you can search online but ewg has a big part of their website called Skin Deep and you can search by product or by ingredient and learn what they mean, it's very helpful because these ingredients are very foreign to many people, but parabens should be avoided at all costs and this one has two and this one has one that you don't want, those endocrine disruptors and even something like people. I think it's premium like this here they're not going green with green tea if you look at the long list here there are pegs and everything to avoid but it's artificial coloring once again derived from tar and petroleum.
I don't usually see a lotion here, but the one I use is from Waleda. Waleda is an excellent skin lotion. I also buy it at Thrive Market, so use my link for that, but I will put at least a list of all the approved non-toxic body lotions and potions and Goos that are free of artificial colors and parabens in the description box below next With all the other things we talked about today, alright my friends, that's just for some of the hallways. here in the personal care section, but overall it's bad news, you really don't want these products applied to your skin multiple times a day when they have these terrible hormone-disrupting ingredients.
I will do more of these in the future because there are Other Hallways too, but pick some of the good ones. I'll put a full list below. Take advantage of the Thrive Market offer.
