The Worst Hack Timing Job Ever!

this head, um, you know, there's a lot of questionable things going on here and, seeing as it, that's a really dumb thing going on here. That makes me wonder if the reason we have that idle rolling on all cylinders and running rough at hot idle in general is because these cams are wrong for the vehicle so they look good just look around , they look good. We're definitely on the right side because one actually sticks out more than the other so you can't mix it up and you can see you know they're lined up towards the guides and

ything so they're on the right side. right side, but do they have the correct profile?

So these engines you know they probably changed them a couple different times three four times over the years and this is a 0.9 so they have older style cams here or maybe even newer ones you know , and it's questionable, especially if they're aftermarket because a lot of times they don't put any kind of branding on them, so they're playing that guessing game and that's just on the high end, here's what happens on the low end, uh, What other repairs do they do? I have done it and with this head being replaced, I'm sure that's what the customer told me.

Let's see if I can get a like there. I noticed that if you look down inside you see it is leaking oil or they use a bottom gasket in there. and a lot of the old ones with older joints spray this adhesive on all the joints and put it there and squeeze the heads and that comes out, I don't know what it is, but anyway let's say they use cheap adhesive and put that spray on there, that it's a problem, let's say they use the mls gasket that should be there and then they still sprayed that stuff in there that actually ruins the mls gasket, the roof rings around the compression, uh, the compression ring around the cylinders, like this which either way the leak is not good so you know there's a lot going on here not to mention the big question is why it's rolling and I really think it has something to do with the cam profiles here being incorrect.

So that's where we're going to leave the video, but we're just going to show how bad things can get. When you go to stores that are questionable, you start jumping from store to store. Things start to turn out like this and the only thing. A real solution at this point, I think for this customer it's a new engine and he already put four or five thousand dollars into it and he doesn't have anything here from these other stores, so that's it for now.
