This is where all my family who went through the immigration process is from. We don't know much about it. And that makes it quite interesting to imagine that this street we are crossing could be the street of some unknown relatives of mine.

They probably walked at some point... The weather is not that nice, but the city is beautiful. It's beautiful here! It often feels like we are walking in Paris right now. Incredible! We are learning. To all the places we go and all the people we've met since leaving Toronto. It's really nice. I think it's like really realizing our culture at home and how much, when we're here, we take for granted what we have and the opportunities that lie ahead of us. It is not important to have money and things, but to be able to choose. Do something with your energy and time.

What do you spend your free hours doing after work and are you happy with it? Dear...why do I feel like I have to achieve all the gifts I have been given? It is very hard for me to see my grandmother in that condition. My grandmother was like a second mother. It's sad when you see someone you love and care about reach this stage in their life.

She is there. But her memory is weak. She doesn't speak anymore. She actually says a few words and, when she does, she is priceless. I just said "Bye!" to your dad who was with us during these 2 weeks, I think you realize that you don't know how long it will be before you see the person you are saying goodbye to. Goodbyes can be... quite difficult. The sad thing is the reality of life. That will be me one day. It will be each one of us. Life is temporary. Life is precious and the people in our lives are very precious and important.

It's crazy that we get to do this together... It's something special. It is important. Realization. If you have the opportunity in your hands, you better do something good with it.
