Jun 07, 2021
As a humble Brit, the last rapper I remember being addicted to blue cheese was Lord Bluntington of the Stilton squad, however last year a dairy-guzzling driller called CJ burst onto the scene entertaining millions with his drill fandom, like me , you've probably heard the track

whoopty

and had a lot of questions where did this guy come from is anwell a's little brother and who for the love of god is responsible for those sideburns demanding that I get rid of those sideburns what sideburns did you hear me hippie but Really, though one of the biggest questions surrounding this mysterious New York driller is exactly which

gang

he's drilling for and after Googling this and being informed that his

gang

is apparently the Grove Street Families, I only have more questions, however, after looking a little deeper into things, it soon started to look like our old friend CJ from Wooptie might be just as real a gangster as CJ from San Andreas, in fact, ever since he blew up, a lot of people have been singling out cj the rapper saying he's a fake gangster, an industry for being fake, so it's no surprise that people are seeing this hispanic hunk as the next Takeshi 69.
the shocking truth behind whoopty cj s gang affiliations
So today, let's take a closer look at the

affiliations

of CJ in music, in the industry and on the streets to try to solve it once and for all. all if mr whoopdy is really a gangster who brings out the gats or if things on his side are really just a movie in this case a new daytime television version of the trayway story people today is the day we find out the

truth

about cj's gang

affiliations

oh here we go again cj was around 19 when he started testing the waters and recording music; in fact, some of his early efforts are still alive on his Soundcloud profile today, tracks like Omi Slept on Letter to the Law and Shooters, all pretty basic and generic New York. street rap with references to breaking weapons, looking for money or just being an underrated rapper on these streets.

the shocking truth behind whoopty cj s gang affiliations...

I'd give it an A for effort but an F for originality, but luckily CJ was getting support for his music from the beginning because it would turn out that his uncle is a guy named James Cruz, a player in the rap game industry who had a illustrious career that began working in marketing for Reebok in '96 and '97. Allen Iverson's campaign teams eventually landed top jobs at Bad Boy Records and Violator, where he worked closely. Chris Lighty, who played a pivotal role in 50 Cent's rise, although for the record these days, 40 doesn't really mess with teams like that and eventually found himself working so closely with Diddy 50 Cent that he'd even speculate there was something going on pervert. as the teams ended up heading the business side of p diddy's empire and were there for nine years before leaving to start their own marketing company focused on latin issues and hey, what better latin product is there to market than your own nephew That big unks, James Cruz, was the perfect impetus for a young Latin rapper looking to break into the game, so early on, CJ was paired with a young pop producer named Busty Banco, the same producer who interestingly was. to produce the track mood swings for pop smoke bench, ironically, he ended up producing an early track for cj called pop and you'll never guess who managed an unknown cj to be his first feature in the rap game oh just a little furry the latin heartthrob called Six Nine, yeah, as a complete unknown, CJ managed to land one of Pop Smoke's producers and a rainbow-haired clout pack in 2018, when a Six Nine verse was actually worth something, ironically, CJ's song Not with Six Nine.

I actually ended up doing a lot of numbers and he's since removed it from his YouTube, but it's still up today on his SoundCloud page at a surprisingly low 220,000 spins, so the finesse of '69 didn't explode like maybe I expected. He continued to polish and drop heavy pop-style tracks with auto-tune, such as his song, Toast. He also had track times like this which is a pretty cool song in my opinion, probably his best one, in fact I wouldn't be that surprised if he brought this one back for his album, the thing is that even though the streets weren't there for him yet paying enough attention to our boy cj, no matter what he did for his influence, he even switched sides on six nine and released a dissonance called exposed after he came out as Rat, in fact the last song CJ released before Woopty came out with a song called Understanding, another generic, heavy, autotune New York trap song that I don't think particularly stands out, but hell, CJ seems to think otherwise, but she's the only one. old song from the early stages of his career that is still publicly available on his YouTube channel, in fact it was understood to be CJ's first proper music video which established that now beloved trend of all CJ music videos being filmed with him basically standing in front of an expensive car, the good thing is that if you look at the comments on that understood music video today, you will know that something big is on the horizon for cj and at the end of july 2020, the song whoop dee comes out and changes the game forever.
the shocking truth behind whoopty cj s gang affiliations
The first time CJ got on a New York drill, UK drill type B, keep in mind the New York drill seat is absolutely exploding right now, this is five months after Pop Smoke was tragically murdered and the same month his posthumous album was filmed. because stars pointed to the moon fell and became number one on the billboard at this time, it felt like hip hop had a gaping pop smoke hole and while people like fabio foreign chef g and 22 g were filling that hole. with reasonable efficiency, cj's whoop tea was just different, it somehow managed to check all the boxes on the casual hip hop fans wish list, it had the drums of a pop smoke song, the melody of a pop song, King von because if you didn't know

whoopty

actually uses the same melody as von's previous hit exposing me and at this point in 2020 it was straight up king von mania so cj releases a song that sounds like king von and pop smoke on the height of his popularity wearing a blood scarf around his neck so now you also took the box six nine but then the real finesse came in woopty's lyrics because for three whole years cj had been struggling to stand out from the crowd with his unoriginal lyrics and tired style, however, when you combine the images of king von pop smoke and six nine, all in one person, it somehow stops caring what you say, woopty's lyrics are incredibly generic, Unlike a lot of other gang-centric New York songs, I mean, some of these songs are so full of confusion. gang slang you need an interpreter just to understand what half the pop smoke on whoopty is talking about, however it's incredibly easy to follow what he's talking about cj is addicted to blue cheese we all love cheese it's about his role as a leaf loose I like to take notes too and You know it's about that chicken like a two piece suit, I mean if it was really about their chicken I would have ordered a sharing box of 20 nuggets, but that's beside the point , but aside from the lyrics, whoopty's music video plays out like a game. hip-hop spot the cliche ooh lambo one dot blood rag two dots oh group of people making gang signs for the camera I think I just got blood bingo but of course the whole song is wrapped up in that catchy phrase of the wolf is the perfect catchphrase it's a salute it's a fun thing to just yell at your friends which turns out is the perfect recipe for a hit workout song so all of these elements work together and created a perfect storm for CJ to take it and yell right at the On top of the song it racked up millions of views in a month and its success was greatly boosted by tic tac, where it racked up millions of spins as a result of its viral cringe, i.e. dancing, but in addition to tic tac, the The bases are also covered with woopty getting a big push on the radio and from DJs, all thanks to the great James Cruz pulling some strings and then bragging about it on Instagram, so before Before you know it, woopty has become a giant in the underground drill scene, the track is doing numbers on the streets, the song is racking up millions of views and so, in an effort to protect their investment, the October 21, cj files a trademark application for the phrase woopty if you ever need a sure sign that cj owns and operates the woopty there.
It is, but at a certain point some people in the rap game step back and say wait, what is this scream? Do you talk about what it means, where it comes from and you know what it reminds me a lot of a little slogan called trayway nine represented grove street in five years, but the players won't budge in November. whoopty continues his meteoric rise to the top. Cj is being interviewed to break down the meaning of the song, where he says that whoopty was just a greeting that he uses with his friends more or less whoopty like there is all over the world now you know I have babies you know how to say whoopty I have you know middle aged people you know older people more or less it's like a roll call you know every time I see my boys on the street and you know that's how we greet each other it's like a new york when people say yes now this is technically true however before cj made it famous the phrase wukti was a greeting used among a specific group of people according to the feds the phrase woopty is a greeting chosen for the New York blood set, the hounds are overflowing, yeah people like it six nights in a row and pop smokes is another viral greeting used by the blood gang, I mean the speed at which these guys write viral phrases is crazy in a way. period, they should quit the gangs and go full time writing radio jingles if you want your ops gone today then you better call five five five trays anyway whoopty guys are a different blood group than guys from tradeway, so the whoopties or Hound Wings are descended from the Bloods wing set and using a bit of unverified Reddit detective work, it seems to suggest that there are a few different street teams that are associated with Hound Wings, including but not limited to Whoopty, the G5 Jets and the Hounds I guess Mr.
Burns was freed by the Gang Gang Smithers so the Brim Bloods are sometimes called hats and with that in mind we can start to spot some references coded to gangs on the track, a specific line where he says he's posted with the hats and the sleazy. the hats, of course, refer to the wings and it seems that the reference to sleazy has something to do with a team associated with fellow Red Rocking New York screenwriter Sos Muller, who himself has been connected to blood from the Mac Baller family, so if you know what. are you looking for, cj is definitely raising his flag on woopty, but you know that gangbanging in songs is nothing new for cj, in fact, he learned from the best, as that track was featured with six nine since 2018.
There were also references to gangs with CJ saying that he's with Billy, meaning the tray bloods and the hats, meaning squeaky wings, back then, so CJ surely wants us to know that he hangs out with bloods, but the question is how hard. Are these hats CJ keeps talking about? Well, the New York Post in 2014 referred to the Mack Ball of Brims as the most dangerous gang in New York. It outlines its territory in the Bronx and its influence extends throughout the city from Brooklyn. new jersey and even cj's home island of staten island, the team's heritage dates back to the original la bloods, who referred to themselves as the la hat gang and later became the five nine wings for their territory and the 59th Street with the East Coast as a set of the five Nine Wings appeared in the early '90s in the prison cells of Rikers Island, led by the imprisoned blood pioneer, Omar Portee, also known as og mack, who ended playing a pivotal role in the creation of numerous New York blood groups, including the New York Brims, which led to the mack. ball of brims as they are known today, the name is a reference to the original founder of gmac and according to the New York Post this is one of the four brimsetts that make up New York's Blood Brim army and according to that article , this gang is responsible. for numerous shootings in New York that have even left innocent bystanders dead, but make no mistake, these guys are known for much crazier crimes than their shootings.
They previously made headlines for an insane incident in which a North Carolina father was kidnapped. prosecutor an attack ordered by a brim who was behind bars in retaliation for his sentencing kevin melton was convicted by a federal jury ofdevising a kidnapping plot in 2014 targeting Wake County Deputy Da Colleen Jansen, who had put him in this jail The 51-year-old was accused of using a jail cell phone to orchestrate the crime, but the kidnappers They went to the wrong address and mistakenly grabbed Jansen's father, Frank. The gang members then took Jansen to Atlanta, where they held him and tortured him for a period of five days.
He is crazy, but it gets worse apparently to join the edges you need to do an initiation. This could be as simple as getting jumped or it could be as serious as being forced to commit murder. In fact, there was even an incident where a 14-year-old boy was sent to do a drill as part of an initiation, but ended up being caught and shot dead by the police. Everyone in this neighborhood is talking about what happened to an alleged teenage gunman. Police say they had no choice but to shoot. after he refused to let go of his gun, they say around 3 a.m. m.
Sunday, two rookie police officers heard gunshots near East 151st Street and Courtland Avenue and saw him run after someone with a gun drawn. When they confronted him, police say he didn't drop the gun. Meanwhile, in more modern times, the leaders of the Bloodhound Brims have received harsh sentences in recent years. The feds dropped a major indictment in 2016 that accused the Bloodhound Brims' nine-four crew of being involved in about 40 acts of violence, and four federal killers said they turned the neighborhood into a war zone and it was this specific group the one who distinguished themselves by greeting each other with that slogan shout, hey, you know, you got a catchy slogan when even the feds are catching on anyway, this case didn't end well for the sleuths, they got caught red-handed the mass making a lot of dirt in the streets.
Hell, there was even an example where the feds had claimed that one of the bloodhounds had actually shot a fried chicken. place with an AK-47 assault rifle, forget about the fake six nine, speaking of improving skills in chicken shops, these guys were actually picking up on the operations of the chicken store and finally, the leader of the brims la brim hound, aka breezy, aka breezy. Boss Dog was convicted and sentenced to 30 years in prison in 2019. Today, La Brim marks 30 years behind his affiliation with the group Woopty. This guy is the truest Woopty blood out there. There's just one problem he says he's never heard of. cj cj made a hot song, but the content he used is not his content, so the basis of it is based on life.
He's not woofy, he doesn't know anything about Wolfie, he just saw a fly splashing around and stole it. They put guys in jail for their accusations behind that word rape, I caused such a stir that you would want to do it, they gave me 30 years for a lifestyle full of accusations of a lifestyle you talk about and never live, you chose the fool from the wrong house hey hey big smoke cj oh my god what's up? Everything was fine just a week ago in November, whoopty ended up landing on the billboard charts. cj was seen getting a french mountain coke boy chain, sparking rumors that he had signed. with him and then in January he signed his own deal with Warner and apparently when CJ was discussing his ambitions of going the major label route with Warner's CEO, he apparently expressed interest in bringing the Drill sound to the mainstream and ultimately Instance, that's exactly what he did in late January 2021, whoopty is certified gold, the song is charting in over 20 countries internationally, including Greece where it is number one, the United Kingdom United, where it is at number two and the United States, where at the time of recording today, whoopty is currently at number 10 on the billboard chart, it seemed that CJ used the main label's cheat code to the perfection to clear up his paperwork with the label and then go straight to the top, but the thing is, as CJ Star grew, so did the voices of the people who reached out to call him out A fake article came out with the headline The Rapper from New York, CJ, is nothing more than a blatant scam, basically saying that his entire career is just a cash grab and going as far as to say that his song Whoopty is nothing more than a karaoke cover. of a 22g song, in fact, speaking of which 22gs, a real New York piercer and very proud member of Gangster Disciples, was not very impressed by CJ's karaoke efforts, in fact, 22GS ended up remixing the song Whoopty with his CJ records, ridiculous, going at CJ for being a fraud and specifically saying I didn't even hear him scream now that ironically CJ's team removes the remix for copyright now I'm not sure that's such a smart move, I mean, if this guy, this guy said he wanted to delete one of my videos I would probably do it right away, without trying to fix those problems.
CJ is clearly braver than me anyway, no matter how the industry got CJ, more and more he was exposing himself to screams, more and more real New York street gangsters were coming. He came out to call CJ or fake knuckles. Brim came out to release a track called "You're Not a Dog." gang everyone tag the cj because I want my son to be around as to him being him he's not him I'm going to die for this you play with this I don't play with this I'm really bullying I'm really jet g5 I would go on to say that Brim , who we mentioned before, is the real wooptie who turns 30 behind this gangsta.
You've got my brother up north for 30 years right now for this, you're talking about Wolfy and he would go on to say that the real moment. that cj crossed the line was when he trademarked the phrase whoopty, you gotta remove the copyright from that wolf, but g5 reels also dropped some useful wisdom by telling the world that apparently whoopty used to be royal blood for a different outfit called hit squad brim. It was his squad, you were the brain of his squad because I don't even know if hugging you anymore causes you to be in them too.
This was a sentiment that also seemed to be supported by chatter on Twitter where some suggested that at one point. Over time, CJ was actually connected to Hit Squad Brim, another blood ensemble in New York that was known for representing Whoopty. Now Hit Squad Brim is a blood set that has a history dating back to '96, but I couldn't really find too much. specific information about the modern things going on with this and I certainly couldn't find any more evidence that cj was affiliated other than the references in his songs, but you know what's maybe the point beyond just crying day of the wolf and that he's chill with the hats and wings the gang references in cj's music are intentionally vague cj made it hard for you to figure out which gang he's supposedly throwing up and i bet he made it so hard for you on purpose who knows maybe cj really did He was a death squad hitter in the past with big bodies under his belt and has simply been good at getting into the industry and covering his tracks, but the most reasonable explanation is probably that CJ simply took a six nine book and botched The little. gang affiliations he had to try to get a rap game clown which I guess brings us to one of the oldest unanswered questions in hip-hop history if CJ isn't a real gangster does that really matter?
You're not dude said he could give Look at me, it doesn't really matter if CJ is a fraud. Rick Ross has been claiming to be the biggest drug lord in Miami for over a decade, but we know that deep down he's nothing more than an ex-prison god with a delicious taste. for lemon pepper wings, none of rick ross's lies about the past matter because he's given us 10 years of fire music. Cj's whoopsie song became a hit song for several reasons, sure the red bandana is a gangster catchphrase and a guy in the industry will certainly do it. give yourself a push, but you'd be lying to yourself if you couldn't admit that the whoopty song was hard, all the advantages and finesse cj used to get to the top were secondary to his song being an absolute slap in the face, be it or not.
It remains to be seen if he will have longevity in this game, but whether or not he is actually out on these streets drilling will always be secondary to whether or not he is making pop music. I've said this before, but I would really like to. rather, a rapper was a complete fraud and had never done a single job on the streets, then they were a real gangster and finally they ended up murdered on some street. We've seen rappers like King von, who are perhaps too real for their own good, ultimately end up being taken from us long before their time.
That said, however, CJ is playing a dangerous game because, just like what happened with Six Nine, presenting yourself as the real deal, everything is fine until you get a real piercer like 22g is trying to hunt you down. like a real operation, but who knows, I mean, maybe all these guys that come out to pressure CJ on social media are just trying to hit CJ with the same extortion method, but the Trayway gangster's blood was used successfully. infiltrate the six nine circle at the beginning of his career with disastrous consequences and maybe cj is the real genius to resist these extortion attempts at this stage.
I don't know if cj is real or fake, we'll just have to wait. and look what he drops, what he says and what he does in the future, maybe for you wooptie is a real street gang and cj is a total fraud or maybe it's just a fun slogan to shout while enjoying your favorite literature . song but for me the best thing is the friends we made along the way peace all you trap lore gang I hope you enjoyed that video if you did make sure to go and smash the like button on the top, the subscribe button and pull the trigger.
And be sure to dive into those comments and let me know what you think about CJ hitting that whoopty. If you want to see more of me, be sure to head over to my second channel, Trap More Ross, where I'm making much more regular uploads. of unscripted content, I'm buying chains, ghosts, writing songs for Drake, it's lit. I also want to say a huge thank you to my editor Camille, who made this project very special. This is one of the videos I've seen the most. I've been proud of her for a long time and it wasn't possible without her, so shout out to Camille and also another big shout out to your beat guy Chris Rich, who provided me with some Fire New York Drill sounds and beats for this video.
