Apr 10, 2024
oh he's down he's down he's down hello and welcome back to the third Scandinavia episode of the road

trip

right now we're in the north of Finland and we're going north but we're camping mostly in the wild but we're starting to look kodas more and more because Usually a fire could be made here not only for cooking food but mainly for the CIP. There were also plenty of what we called finish roads, as well as stunning tundra and plenty of reindeer gates, and I mean, look at it the further north we got. More Sterile and messy, it became, it was amazing, we met a local, hello and I swear it's not the same one, we followed the Russian Finnish border north and finally crossed into Norway, the weather was good, the few were amazing and all it was going to go well. plan, except it wasn't now, please forgive me because I barely have pictures of what happened next, my bike started misbehaving and couldn't go more than 60 km per hour, plus there were some major problems with power delivery, so we spent a whole afternoon.

Midday on the side of the road in the hot sun, we took the mask apart several times, trying to clean it to see if that would solve the problem, but to no avail. I also tried traveling with one of my t-shirts as an air filter because our driving conditions were very dry and it got very dusty, but nothing helped, so we did the only thing we could think of: we ignored the problem and celebrated the summer solstice with some locals. We also met a French guy called Alec on a BMW 1250 GS and decided to ride together for a couple of days, also check this out, this is my full throttle and yes, that's it, in all seriousness, although we did take a couple of very very glances. serious to the bike and we noticed that all the main components were working so we thought that the power delivery problem couldn't be anything harmful to the engine, we also needed food and not only did we simply need to keep going, we couldn't stay in a place, at least not somewhere random. parking lot in the middle of nowhere, talking about the middle of nowhere, and yes you might have guessed that like most of the time Adventure found us, we were looking for a place to stay tonight, now that I had the lighter bike it meant he was the designated Scout, not that I could complain of course, uh, now Alec told us he wouldn't go off-roading while traveling alone, but since we were here, he was willing to make an exception and he was an awesome Rider or, like you You say it, but with all that weight, of course, we also have disadvantages, okay, apparently, it's easier, oh, it's not easier, it's doable, you want me to go first, you want me to go first, okay, oh, he's down, he's down, he's down, up oh uh H Alec I, step, I can't park here, you're welcome, okay, think, oh shoes, so oh, my water fills, yeah, same M too, full, full, full, we got it there, wow, wow, nice, nice, we ended up staying in the same parking spot. where we slept the night before and the next day we decided to head north, as far as we could, there were also many longer tunnels in this area, 24 km and at first I thought, oh wow, this is great on my DRZ with lower delivery power.

More Interesting Facts About,

the scandinavia offroad trip ep3...

I can just roll through the tunnel, but then you get to 12 km in the tunnel and you realize that all the time you go down you also need to go back up and remember when I said my top speed was around 60 km per year. Well that was on a straight road when I came out of a tunnel, it was about 50 sometimes 45 but then you come out on the other side of the tunnel and you forget about it all because the fuses are amazing, now I didn't. I didn't want to delay B and Alex, so I told them to just write their own tempo and not wait for me.

At first I thought this was a bit of a bummer, but as soon as I was traveling alone, I was able to enjoy this incredibly powerful and magnificent landscape, it felt so empowering and serene, it's very him in such an immense landscape. When I went through it I just couldn't, I just didn't know where to look, it was so incredible and when we got north. Cabo, it was a parking lot with many campers, many caravans and even a helicopter flying over the northernmost part of Norway. This was also very surreal, but in a totally different way, the weather we had when we got there, however, was very nice, there were clouds. hanging over the ocean like a curtain as if they were saying that there is nothing Beyond this point, nothing north of this point exists, well, I mean, technically there were some geographical problems and technically the North Cape is not even the most north of Norway. but that's not the point after visiting the North Cape we ended up riding south of course there was nowhere else to go and we looked for a place to stay that night and we found a cozy little cabin and you could stay there for free . it was a guest book, it was lovely outside as we lit a fire inside and are ready for bed.
