, now someone decided that wasn't enough and wanted something a little bigger, so now I present to you the T2 Armory 500 Bushwhacker.

What's the problem with a 500

bushwhacker

? Well, let me show you this real quick. it's a 500 Magnum bullet and this is a 500

bushwhacker

which is absolutely crazy a 350 grain 500 Magnum bullet is going to move around 1,900 feet per second this thing is going to make bullets over 2600 feet per second so technically it should I'll be very excited to shoot this revolver. I mean, I'm the recoil king of YouTube, but there's a reason this gun here makes my neck itch and I've been avoiding it. Let me explain very quickly. This is a Magnum Research bfr 500 magnum. There's a lot of extra room in this cylinder here when a 500 magnum is chambered well.

T2 Armory decided to do something with that space and the 500 bushwhacker was born. It also has this beautiful muzzle brake that is supposed to help with recoil, but that doesn't. my dilemma My dilemma is that I can't seem to find any pressure tests on the 500 Bushwhacker on the Internet. I know the BFR is rated for 500 Magnum pressures, but it will hold up to 500 Bushwhacker pressures over time, which is why I've been avoiding it. this revolver, but you all keep asking for it, so today I'm going to meet you in the middle, we're going to shoot the 500 bushwhacker today, but we're going to take some safety precautions, actually, quite a few safety precautions, without looking for a when.

I think this should be do it right, for starters I'm going to shoot the 500 magnum and this way you'll have a baseline and something to compare to when it comes to the 500 bushwhacker so here we go okie dokie here we go , 500 bushwhacker. I haven't shot this. before this is my first time, I feel so good about this, I feel so good, I hope you know that I really like them a lot, oh boy, okay, here we go, that wasn't so bad.

I was expecting it to be a lot worse, so next up, this is the biggest round I have today, it's a 400 grain hard cast bushwhacker 500 and it should move around 2300 feet per second, okie dokie, get a good grip, set it all up, here we go, okay, that was enough. a little more than a 500 Magnum, she would be kicking well before moving on to other tests. There's something I'm going to need to get out of the way. Let's shoot this one handed using the 400. Hard grain casting should be fun, okay dokie, this will be the real test, won't that be okay?

Here we go, okay, that's great, you know, I feel really good dressed like that. I feel so tactical. I see why Gan um dresses like that. Time like I can get used to it, okay, now it's time to do some science. I have a magical device called a chronograph that will measure the velocity of our bullets and also microwave my dinners and then I have a 16 inch block of 10%. clear ballistic yellow, I actually have two of these and these are made with clear ballistics, okay, 275 grain Barnes hollow point from the 500 bushwhacker, let's see if we can get a reading of 2410 feet per second, that thing really did a number on that block. there's our entrance hole and that thing opened up very quickly and very violently and then here's our second block, it looks like we stopped at the second block, there are all the broken pedals, it expanded and delivered a lot of power to the first one. block, okay, that was a 275 Grainer, let's try the 400 Grainer, here we go, well, I guess our results will be inconclusive, okay, we got the technical science out of the way, now it's time for some Kentucky ballistics science.

To compare the 500 magnum and the 500 bushwhacker and see what kind of differences we get when we shoot some random nasty targets, our first target is going to be two six pound cans of sugar snap peas, the first one is the 500 magnum, holy cow, oh my. mine. Oh my god, that's a lot of pee, there's pee on everything. I peed in slow motion. I peed in the feeding box. I peed on my phone. Now we're going to shoot two gallons of Elmer's Glue, okie dokie 500. magnum is the first, oh okay now for 500 Bushwacker, okay the glue was pretty hectic, but I think we're going to get better results with the canned goods , so again I have a six pound can, but it's full of chocolate pudding, oh 500 bushwacka.

OMG, this is a little louder too. I have to say that next we have eggplants because nobody likes eggplants. The Bushwhacker 500 looks like a pretty good gun for getting glue, pudding and stuff like that, but how will it hold up when it comes to defending the Earth against the most miserable creature ever created, a Furby, goodbye you miserable beast, oh or oh my goodness , look at that explosion of the snout, it tore off its fur. Next I have two six pound cans of cheese and someone always has some. say in the comments section about what I do with my cheese, well you know what's none of your business because you know what kind of cheese this is, go cheese, oh oh oh, be strong, little table, well, now I have five five-gallon water jugs and I'm going to shoot each one with the 500 bushwhacker and my bet is that table doesn't make it past the second shot.

I'm just going to go down the middle, oh, okay, it didn't fall, but it fell. I had to restart slow motion, holy cow we got two more, the last one, well that's quite a bit of damage, look at these things completely annihilated, the table is practically destroyed for me now I don't even have to do that, that's a lot. energy big energy from Bo well that will be it for the 500 bushwhacker, what do I think about that? I think it's actually pretty good and has a lot of power, which I love in a pistol because I'm an absolute recoil junkie and when it comes to recoil, it's not for the light-hearted and definitely not for an inexperienced shooter again.

My only problem with the 500 bushwhacker is the pressure test. Will it last 100 rounds? It could be 500 rounds. I can see that happening, yeah, 1,000 rounds, that's a realistic timeline yeah, okay, I really want you to think about this 2000 rounds. I can see it as a very real possibility that we may never know, but I do know. I think this is pretty awesome, but it would be a lot more awesome if I could find some pressure testing data so I didn't have to dress like this all the time.
