the

legend

of

zelda

ocarina

of

time

where do we start with this game? It's been called the best game of all

time

for decades and yes, to counteract the praise it's received, it's received its fair share of criticism as it's gotten older, but for my generation. along with super mario 64 pokemon red and blue and many more fifth generation titles, it really holds a place in our hearts specifically for being our first big adventure in a 3D world, while super mario 64 pioneered 3D platforming,

ocarina

of time pioneered 3D adventures for no I say that Super Mario 64 is not an adventure in itself because it is, but Ocarina of Time is an adventure in the sense that you have a world to explore.

The Legend of Zelda has always been an open-world exploration and adventure game from day one. Just imagine how exciting it must have been to play the original Legend of Zelda on the NES and be thrown into a world immediately open for you to explore however you wanted, similar to a link to the past. Again, I can only imagine what he must have felt. I wish they would drop me into such an open world. I'll be right now with a little more introduction before I can continue as you wish. Ocarina of Time would follow a link to the most story-based tone of the past and guide you. for a short time before opening up the world to you, and while I can't tell you how the kids who played the

legend

of

zelda

and a link to the past must have felt entering their worlds for the first time to explore, I can tell you.

More Interesting Facts About,

the legend of zelda 64 ocarina of time majora s mask iceberg a deeper look...

I can certainly handle opening up the weather, although it took me a little while. You see, I couldn't figure out how to equip items for the C buttons when I was eight, but eventually my uncle showed me how and I was on my way to defeating Ganon. only to get stuck again shortly after, but that wasn't the point when entering Hyrule Field for the first time. I was shown true freedom in a video game, not to say that this is the first case of something like this since, of course, many jrpgs and Western RPGs had provided freedom to the open world for years, but for many this was their first experience and that alone was amazing.

I didn't play Ocarina of Time with progression in mind, I played it simply because it was a world to explore. go to the castle could go to a giant mountain a huge lake could talk to anyone could find and buy items and occasionally talk to the right person to progress the story inching through the game much like super mario 64 ocarina of time it was a game I played very naturally, there were no strategy guides, there was no internet to show me where to go next, just my friends at school lied to me about unlocking Sheik, he's a playable character, there's no dean, no I forgot, but anyway, I remember one day I got a call from my friend telling me that he had unblocked a big link.

I had no idea what he meant, but unlocking anything in this game was exciting progress to advance our adventure. I went to his house and what he meant was that he had become an adult link, our progression would be We continued in a similar way, the two of us calling each other every time we found a new way to progress and eventually beat the game even after beating ocarina of time. I still came back from time to time and just explored again as a kid with no internet access or guidebooks, it was still fun to

look

for golden skulltulas or heart pieces or even the golden scale that at one point I swear didn't exist because I could never make it. that worked, but my point was the ocarina of time always kept me.
Reexploring the huge open world of that time and even to this day starting a game of Ocarina of Time is always a blast after discovering the

iceberg

of Super Mario 64 and covering that topic a bit along with customization. I had also come across countless other

iceberg

s for other games, one of course for ocarina of time and another for the zelda franchise as a whole and then I found an iceberg covering both nintendo 64 games, that sounds good. I also really enjoy Majora's Mask. Why not in this video we will cover the legend of zelda nintendo 64 iceberg and there are quite a few so grab a snack and get comfortable.
This is going to be a long video, let's get started. Secret rupees. Secret rupees, hidden and sometimes even invisible, are nothing. New to Zelda games and both Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask have their fair share of them hidden around the world. My favorite secret rupees are the ones on top of the chains on the drawbridge in Hyrule Marketplace. It's a great way to accumulate something quickly. rubies if you need the money, especially since they respawn if you leave the area in exchange, the deku tree spreads upon completing the forest temple and after talking to soraya in the chamber of sages, the link will be transported in front of the large deku tree and notice a small sprout sticking out of the ground upon examination, the deku tree sprout will explode from the ground trapping the lingoff guard.
There are many theories about the deku tree sprouting leading to more zelda titles, such as him becoming the deku tree and the wind awakener, furthermore, I also speculated that he is a reincarnation of the great deku tree, which is what My friends and I used to think about the deku tree sprouting becoming the deku tree and the awakening of the wind. The tree speaks of the highlands and also recognizes Link's green suit, which was what he unleashed. that he starts to talk very well in the first place, so it makes sense to me that the deku butler's son at the beginning of

majora

link's

mask

is turned into a deku bush by skull boy while tattle and link continue their search for the boy skull, they find a hollowed-out child The deku shell upon examining it, gossip also says that it

look

s like Link.
Later, after the Woodfall Temple is completed, the deku butler will ask Link to meet him in the cave outside the palace. Once there, the butler will ask Link to follow him and the deku butler will pass by. a maze and Link must follow it closely so as not to lose it in the many twisted corridors. After completing this task, the butler will comment on how Link reminds him of his son, giving even more credence to the theory that the soul that was taken and placed inside the deku

mask

was, in fact, the deku butler's son. . Finally, during the end credits, the deku butler is seen kneeling before the hollow deku shell seemingly shaking with sadness.
This all seems to be a pretty open case as far as this fact goes, that's pretty much it. but they confirmed it but they proposed throughout the narrative on the fourth day a very strange bug in Majora's mask that allows the game to be played beyond its three day limit to perform the bug go to the astral observatory on the third day while looking through the telescope wait for about a second to spare and immediately press the b button to stop looking, you will start a conversation with the old man as soon as the conversation ends, immediately press a to talk to him again as you only have left about a second on the clock will now be just milliseconds, ask him to look through the telescope again and quickly exit the telescope as soon as you are looking through it, if you timed it correctly you will start talking to the old man and the clock on the bottom. from the screen will now disappear from here.
Very strange things happen. Skull Kid will be on top of the clock tower which will be in the position it is supposed to be at the end of the game. If you approach him strangely, he will perform the scene. that makes the moon drop a tear, but the skull boy will do the animation he does when the moon goes down. Plus, the moon is incredibly far away in the sky, so far away that it's almost difficult to see it if you go to the scarecrow and do the dance with it and it will transport you to dawn the next day.
You will be shown the dawn of a new day screen, which of course is the screen shown after finishing the game during the final cutscene, all of the inhabitants of Clock Town and apparently the rest of Termina will be missing, except for a few, like the happy mask seller and, of course, the old man in the observatory. If you hit a gossip stone that's supposed to tell you how much time is left, it will show you a glitch amount of In the remaining time there doesn't seem to be any real benefit to doing this glitch, as again many NPCs aren't present, but it's still Fun to play with the child in the cemetery similar to the family story during the search for the great goron sword.
The family with a little story is that of the boy in the cemetery, his father, who is the gate guard on Death Mountain, and his mother, who has never seen her but speaks to Link through the gate. of his house when he talks to the child. Wearing the ketone mask, he exclaims that he told his father that he wanted one like that. The guard, of course, is who Link sells it to during the mission. However, this boy seems to have a fascination with the damp, scarier side of the cemetery. when you talk to him using the creepy mask, he completely forgets about the ketone mask and buys it from Link.
However, I think the reason the boy is in the iceberg is because after the seven year jump we have no idea what happens to him or his family, his house is now strange and any trace of him, his father guarding the door or his mother, they are gone. It is rumored that the boy became the po collector who makes the store of him in the room just after the drawbridge to the Hyrule market, where all the pots are. The general beliefs for this theory are that the po collector carries a stick in a similar manner to the boy, as well as the fact that since he was obsessed with creepy things, it makes sense for him to become a pro-collector.
Personally, I find it a bit. on the weak side because of his way of speaking, especially referring to Link when he was young and his behavior doesn't really seem to match the boy's age or mannerisms, even if he was seven years old, but hey, a lot can happen in those years. so I guess it's still a possibility, maybe the mask Link sold him was cursed and made him age quickly or something, who knows, ghost hunter continues from the last point. This is further speculation as to who the po collector might actually be outside of being him. graveyard boy it is also speculated that he could be the same guard that inhabited the room seven years earlier as Kid Link if you talk to the guard during the day he will tell you man I'm so bored things would surely be more interesting if there were more problems in the world and talking to him at night would prompt him to say man, I'm so tired, the night watch is so boring I wish some ghosts would come out or something, this interest in the problems going on around the world and in ghosts It has led many to believe that this guard may well be the same person as the Poe collector.
I think this theory is very plausible and given his thoughts on the world, perhaps he gave himself to ganondorf during the siege nintendo 64 dd lost concepts and ura zelda the nintendo. 64 dd was an add-on for the Nintendo 64 console that used a proprietary disk format capable of storing much more data than the standard Nintendo 64 cartridge. It also provided online connectivity to the Nintendo 64, allowing players to download special features In certain games and much more, many games from the Nintendo 64 era had planned releases, sequels, or expansions that were going to be released on DD, but due to poor sales and reception, they were abandoned and released as standard Nintendo 64 titles. , like Kirby 64 which was initially planned as a dd game during the development of Ocarina of Time, the game was originally planned for the dd add-on, however it was soon changed to be a standard cartridge release as the dd was pushed further and further back in development, although it was not released for the dd implementation of the peripheral it was not far from Nintendo's mind, as they had planned to use the add-on to implement symbolic time expansions, which are called ura zelda and zelda gaiden.
Little is known about what these add-ons were meant to bring to the game, but it is speculated that new dungeon cities and reportedly even an entirely new world were in the works for one of the expansions. It is rumored that Ocarina of Time Master Quest was what Ura Zelda would become, but there are some facts that discredit this claim, such as the rom. Master Quest is said to be the same size as the Ocarina of Time Rom, meaning the need for the DD add-on regarding its larger memory would not have been necessary. There's a lot more to Ura Zelda and Zelda Gaiden, but really those could.
This will be talked about for hours, so for now I'll leave it at that Mario cameo. Mario's cameo can refer to a couple of different things. It could be as vague as Talon and Ingo resembling Mario and Luigi or possibly the inclusion of Super Mario. portraits in the courtyard of zelda's castle with mario luigi bowser yoshi and peach there is also the maskmario in the mask seller's bag happy in

majora

's mask there are also the composer brothers who some think are a nod to mario and luigi since they each wear red and green and both have mustaches lastly although this part of the iceberg specifically says mario cameo, the last super mario reference i can think of, although not mario himself, is the bowser brooch that both malin and talon wear according to my research, there don't seem to be any more mario cameos in the 64 games, so which must be one of these shared Mario 64 concepts and ideas, as we talked about in the Super Mario 64 iceberg video.
The city shown for the wet and dry world looks a lot like the beta city design seen in the first images and videos of Zelda 64. most notably that the door texture used in super mario 64 seems identical to what this tip of the iceberg could be referring to is that in an iwata interview question shigeru miyamoto said that when The beginning Ocarina of Time was going to take place entirely in Ganondorf's castle acting as a central area with different rooms that branch off and lead to different challenges and adventures, sort of like Princess Peach's castle in Super Mario 64.
Knuckles iron are grudu thieves during the temple of the spirits, you will eventually fight an iron knuckle who, when defeated, will lose his armor. revealing Naburu who was under Twin Rover's brainwashing spell to fight Link, interestingly, however, if you manipulate the camera on any other iron knuckle in the game, including those in Ganon's castle, you will see that the model of Nabooru is within them, whether this was just an asset or not. Saving what I mean, it probably was, but just for convenience and the idea that all iron knuckles are brainwashed gerudos is a good theory and an explanation of the console's limitations is always welcome in my book, so I agree 100% with this theory.
R-Wings The R-Wing is the signature ship used in the Star Fox franchise by Fox McLeod and his team in Ocarina of Time. It is possible through Game Shark to generate an arrow in the game that flies and acts as an enemy according to my research. It seems like the arrows only appear in Kokiri Forest, the ship will fly and shoot green lasers at Link and it is possible to destroy the arrows which will cause a crash and burst into flames, but what's the point in an old iwata? question interview with character and graphic designer satoru takazawa mentions that it was used to model the movements of the fire temple boss volvagia blue cuckoo if I can ramble a little I would just like to say that I love the strange story that involves winning the great The Goron Sword in Ocarina of Time is very mysterious and gives a bit of history to a small family in the village of Kicarico and even at the end you are not completely sure what exactly happened to the family's son after completing the first step of the quest.
For Anju, that requires Link to hatch a cuckoo and use it to wake up Talon, she will give Link a blue cuckoo named Kojiro. Kajiro belonged to Anju's brother, Grog and since Grog left, Kajira stopped singing upon finding Grog in the lost forest, you come back, Kojiro. to him in exchange for a mushroom once Link gives the mushroom to Grandma at the Kakiro Potion Shop and returns to the Lost Forest. Gurag is no longer there and is never seen again along with Kojira Raru and Aru Raru is the Sage of Light in Ocarina of Time. and he grants Link the Medallion of Light after removing the Master Sword from the pedestal.
Aru is a member of the resistance in Twilight Princess and helps Link during the invasion of Hyrule. There is speculation among fans that the two characters are connected in some way, which may very well be the case, given that Twilight Princess takes place after Ocarina of Time and there is also fan speculation that the link of the Twilight Princess is in fact a direct ancestor of the okra link of time, but that's a whole discussion for another time, the connection of the characters in the Zelda games can create an endless discussion even for characters like the miners raru and aru so it's really just animal speculation at best until nintendo comes out right and says it forest temple new music well where do I start with this?
In 2016, a youtuber named matt mvs uploaded a video titled new zelda forest temple music, the description of the video says: these are songs that I have composed and sung to represent my emotions and feelings in the forest temple. The first is a spooky vibe that represents the haunting melodies of the forest temple it evokes. emotional feelings like fear and sinister of being lost in the forest the second is a small sample that is meant to evoke fear the growl is a fearsome instrument that captures the soul and gives a very scary vibe the third is a funky strange and optimistic rhythm that is more joyful than the first two compositions should be taken lightly and does not evoke feelings of fear but more feelings of joy and ambition the original version of this video is simply mvs mate making instrumental noises vocally many online took it as a joke and i thought he was funny and made fun of Matt NBS and also uploaded remixes of this song and sometimes mixed his voice with other songs.
The original video of him without added music is still on his original Matte MVS channel and he is looking for new Force Temple music. I'm with a lot of other remixes too, now I'm not going to lie by saying it's musically decent or anything is fine you know, but to be completely honest it actually gets stuck in my head and for any song or tune, do it even if it's a pop song that you absolutely hate, I have to give credit where it's due, so thank you, I really enjoy it and it's one of those types of videos that, if it was removed from the internet forever, I would honestly feel bad, but keep going anyway. real in dodongo's cavern in dodongo's cavern there is a plaque that says giant dead dodongo when he sees red a new path will open up to follow which of course is a clue to throw bombs in his eyes to be able to progress through the dungeon now which is now available By the way, what the sign really says is that l is real 2401, what does this mean for the time operand?
Nothing is not so strange. How could a badge in one game generate endless rumors and discussions, while the exact same badge in another game no one? worries well i found out if you collect 2401 rupees and talk to malin ingo will appear and challenge the link to the draft in hyrule field if you win he will tell you well if you think you are so fast how about you challenge a real speed? King and you will have to compete with the runner, only this time it is possible to win, but you have to reach the goal in less than 20 seconds, but it is possible, believe me, try it, I did it by beating him and he will give you a full bottle. of lava that you then take to bind the goron, who will exchange it for a green hat.
The green hat cannot be equipped and is very obvious that it is Luigi's hat from Super Mario. Return Ingo's hat and he will claim what you have. I found my hat, then she will put it on and a blinding flash of light will appear similar to when she throws the joined deck and luigi will be standing there. Now you can play as luigi, who can jump very high, throw fireballs 100 confirmed, like comment and subscribe coco and observatory one quick and easy just put there is a cuckoo in a cage in the observatory with the majora mask if you attack him he won't call other cuckoos, I guess because of your location why he is here is a mystery, but he always does I love hearing the cuckoo when entering the observatory Running Man the Running Man is a character that appears in Ocarina of Time after Link has become an adult for the first time and his model is also used as the postman with Majora's mask as a child Link has seen. running through Hyrule Field and is the one who dresses up the bunny hood to complete the happy masked salesman side quest as an adult.
You can find him inside the carpenter's shop outside the entrance to say hello to his fortress next to the bridge. This point of the iceberg may be referring to. To the impossible challenge he offers, beat him in a race to the entrance of Kokiri village. For many years, beating the runner has become the Luigi in Mario 64 of the Ocean of Time, countless online guides and theories on how to complete the task were all over. Back in the late 90s and early 2000s, I personally remember reading them, but now, in the modern days of data mining and being able to find everything possible within a game, there is no proof that you can beat it, not even a In-game text dialogue. hints that a win is possible blindfolded kakariko archery I'm not entirely sure what it is or why it's in the iceberg my best guess is that it refers to some speedrunners completing the archery game blindfolded kakariko, which is certainly cool, but why it's a point on the iceberg is a mystery to me, but there you have it.
Navigate Dive Navigate Dive is a speedrunning technique that requires Navi to have a dialogue option available by making some very specific inputs near deep water that Kid Link cannot normally swim deep enough to reach by activating a navigation dialog in a specific moment while doing this glitch, the link will fall to the bottom of the water and will be left talking to Navi after the dialogue ends, the game will make links underwater and allow you to swim, only now you will be much

deeper

than the link . I can usually dive without a silver or gold scale windmill grave connection.
I always found this strange as a kid, when completing the Damies race and winning the hookshot, a time block blocks your path and Link must play the time song to eliminate it. once it's clear, you climb a ladder from the crypt only to emerge inside the windmill room. I don't understand why these two areas would be connected and it's a little creepy in a way, I'm not sure what it is, but I always thought it was very strange with Skulltula's house. This house always scared me when I was a kid. The skeletal house is located in the town of Carrico and is the home of a family who have reportedly been cursed due to their greed for killing and gathering. 10 20 30 40 50 and 100 gold skulls link will lift the curse of each family member one by one by collecting 100 tokens link will be able to collect as many huge rupees as you want basically giving you infinite rupees why this is in the iceberg it is in the air For me, but personally I've always wondered what exactly cursed them anyway, I mean, it says they agree, but I mean it's just another Carrico Village mystery, oh, and one more thing, uh, If you noticed, I jumped. between saying carrico and pueblo kakariko, I don't really know what the correct pronunciation is, I'm just saying it, however, I say it in the moment, so I might say kakariko one moment and then kakariko the next, so just wait for that mask of adult link shown in some of the early screenshots of Majora's Mask, it appears that at one point there was an adult link skin in the game functionally, not sure what this skin was used to possibly allow child link to become an adult link in Majora's Mask, given that it is using the ocarina of time engine that would certainly be possible and fans have already put a working adult mask in the game, but many, including me me, we thought this would simply be a placeholder for the fierce deity skin, while an adult link skin would have been cool especially.
If you could use it anytime, anywhere, I love the uniqueness of the fierce deity mask. I, along with most others, just wish it were possible to use it anywhere without glitches or cheats, since you've already beaten the game, it's no use. You felt why can't you, but hey, Mal and his wife in Ocarina of Time there are many hints of a possible future relationship between Malin and Link. Talon Malin's father jokes about Link marrying her. A gossip stone she once spoke to in the Mask of Truth says that Allen dreams of a knight in shining armor who will come and drag her away one day and Malin is generally always happy with Link, although this could simply be circumstantial, also, in Twilight Princess Link, who is confirmed to be a descendant of Link from Ocarina of Time. throughout hyrule lore he lives and works on a ranch and nosy pona's song leads many to believe that while this link is confirmed, timelink's okra descendant is also a descendant of malin, whose link would have potentially married mirinda commercial, I would love to say it. thanks to this iceberg for introducing me to this gem of a commercial like I have never seen before mirinda is an orange soft drink manufactured by pepsi and originally produced in spain it is available in the united states it is sold as tropicana twister in case anyone is interested trying itafter watching this commercial, as I thought a lot, the commercial is very reminiscent of the Super Mario 64 Got Milk commercial in which a player gets frustrated with the main character, only in a different way in this commercial, the player controls the link around Cacarico Village. only for link to wander into a cooler of mirinda soda, link then starts drinking the drink while the player tries to get link to stop moving or do anything to no avail, the player is then seen lazing around waiting for link to finish only for him to stop. stay still be enjoying the seemingly refreshing drink Romani ranch sign The sign at the entrance to Romani ranch and Majora's mask is exactly the same sign used at the entrance to the cemetery of Carrico's village in Ocarina of Time Even stranger is that the sign in japanese says welcome to kikerico village which makes it even weirder, although i'm sure any player who doesn't read japanese would just think the sign just has letters that must fit in the universe.
What did those who read Japanese think when they saw that sign welcoming them? to kikerico village when in fact he didn't take them there in both games, this sign was changed in the 3ds remake, but it's still a very strange thing that they left him with the majora mask because it's not carico village and an ocarina of time because It's the cemetery, not the town, Dami is the destination Dammi is, of course, the gravedigger of the cemetery in the town of Cacrico in Kid Link's time, he sleeps during the day and comes out at night to make his tour of the cemetery afterwards. age seven, Skip Damies died and will give Link the hookshot if you can beat him in a race that I always thought was weird because it's not so much a race as it is just keeping up with Dammi, but anyway the circumstances of his death are what I assume this point with Iceberg refers to.
It is unknown how he died, but as he appears to be an older man, the cause of his death due to his old age is not out of the question, but no definitive answers are known. Gossip Stones can be destroyed, although it is not necessarily possible to destroy a Gossip Stone as close as possible. What you can achieve is to make it launch into the sky like a rocket using the explosion of a bomb or a bomb shoe; The Gossip Stone does not explode or destroy itself, however, it simply flies away until it is no longer visible.
Other unique interactions with the Gossip Stone include hitting it with the Megaton Hammer, flattening it only for the Gossip Stone to pop back up. its normal form. Shooting it with a fire arrow or dense fire will cause the gossip stone to spin rapidly, stretch, and then return to its normal shape by touching any ocarina. song that are not warp songs, it will summon a fairy, if you play the song of storms, it will summon a big fairy and by hitting it with your sword, the gossip stone will tell the player the time in the game, unobtainable heart piece in the ocean of time.
There are 36 Heart Pieces that must be collected by the player and a secret 37th Heart Piece that the player cannot obtain through normal gameplay means and is located in the Gerudo Fortress, but only when playing as Child Link when Link He is imprisoned and as an adult. To get the hookshot out of the room there is supposed to be a piece of heart above this room which again can only be accessed with a hookshot through another fortress corridor that leads to the room above the cell. the prison where the gerudos threw their prisoners so even if you are able to reach gruder's fortress as a child without the hook shot you would still be out of luck wise men overture let's start from the beginning here in 1998 a website domain called hyrule the land of zelda and hosted a fan forum page where users can discuss all things zelda, specifically ocarina of time as it was the newest game at the time of course, Many hoaxes and false rumors would be created on the site, such as playing a chic or unlocking Ganondorf's horse to ride, etc.
However, there is much more of a theory that many players believed to be true due to early footage from Nintendo showing Link being able to obtain the Triforce. The first images from Nintendo show the link to obtain the item and also on the pau screen surrounded by the medallions is the triforce but hollowed out, as we all know, before obtaining each medallion, each space that they would fill is hollow beforehand, which which leads many to believe that just as obtaining the filled medallions in those locations must also make it possible to obtain the triforce, this sent many people on wild goose chases performing some of the most ridiculous tasks trying to unlock the triforce and of course, led many people to create false methods to obtain the triforce.
One of these, however, went much further than any other and reached a level of credibility that is now infamous among early Nintendo 64 enthusiasts. A user named Triforce Guy is credited with starting the first major Triforce hoax. in 1998 on the site, but in 1999 a user named Ariana Amanda claimed to have found the Triforce, only this time they had photos to back it up. They claimed this was 1999 so the images of the doctor and the game were not as simple as they are today, so to say they were convincing would be an understatement, they seemed completely official almost when first posting the images, the sites zelda website and other gaming news sites went absolutely crazy things weren't like they were today, I mean back then news on the internet wasn't thoroughly fact-checked or anything so this was in the covers everywhere until someone noticed something in the Sage image link sword overture screenshot is shaved. backwards and that destroyed any credibility ariana had as it would make no sense as the text that says link plays the sages overture it is not backwards in any way this was a fascinating time to be a gamer as that rumors like these were present in almost all video games, the internet in those early days was not regulated with fact checking and many sites were run by fans who posted Luigi and Super Mario 64 stuff all day and back then no one could prove that you were wrong if the challenge was legitimate. too hard to even do and remember a bit, if you don't mind, I remember around this time I went on supercheats.com, which I'm not sure if at that time they were completely run by fans where anyone could upload anything, but I remember the La Super Smash Bros. page had endless methods to unlock the most ridiculous characters, from Goku to Sonic.
I had a feeling they were fake, but still many of the challenges offered in the supposed ways to unlock these characters seemed fun, so sometimes I tried them. them, but anyway, this is not the Super Smash Brothers iceberg, but I know some of you are looking forward to it, so let's continue and maybe talk more about that later. Octorok, I'm not entirely sure what this could be referring to as the point is pretty vague just being octorok, but if I have to guess I think it has to do with the early cut designs for the octorok showing them in red and much more similar in appearance to their 2D counterparts, as the image shows, they also appear as if they are crawling on the ground, which is also much more similar to their behavior in previous Zelda titles.
Fierce deity Kishan. I think this tip of the iceberg simply refers to the mystery behind who the fierce deity is or where the mask might have come from. Of course, as we know, the only other transformation masks contain the souls of those who have passed away, so we can assume that the fierce deity was once a great warrior or as the word deity would imply a god, although it is not canonical, It's implied in the manga. adaptation that before Majora was sealed in the mask, the fierce deity was the one who overpowered the spirit and defeated it, why Majora then gives you the mask of his greatest adversary who is in the air, but again during the time most give you the mask they're in. the body of a child, so maybe it's the child who wants to play a game of good versus evil for fun, but that's all my personal speculation, of course, beta fire temple music, okay, so Listen to me, I'm really not sure what this is referring to.
I originally thought he was referring to the possibility of the Islamic fire temple, but that's not something exclusive to the beta. Of course, early versions of the game have this chant, so maybe that's it, but I'm honestly not sure about everything else I've researched. on the topic tends to be a joke, which is fair enough occasionally some iceberg stuff is inside jokes about you know the community, but I can't really find anything else on this point so I'll have to leave it at that for now Run Lola Run Run Lola Run is a 1998 German film about a woman who must obtain 100 German marks in 20 minutes or else her boyfriend will be executed after her first attempt results in tragedy.
Time resets after she initially receives the call about the situation she allows. She must do it over and over again until she gets it right. Reportedly, when discussing Majora's Mask gameplay ideas, Nintendo developer Yoshiaki Koizumi mentioned the film and its plot about reliving the same situation multiple times, which of course it would be what the three-day time travel mechanics were like. implemented in the alien ranch invasion game even with all the strange missions in the zelda games, one that i admit i had never seen before was the aliens and, well, why not? In Majora's Mask there is a side mission in which you must protect the Romani ranch and its cows from an alien invasion. in the game they are simply referred to as them and are very reminiscent of the pose and although they are not explicitly called aliens it is pretty obvious that that is what they are supposed to be based on there being no statues in the forest temple among the five temples of the game, the forest.
The temple is the only one that does not have a recurring statue throughout its design. The fire temple has the totems. The water temple has the head of the dragon snake. The shadow temple has the raven statues and of course the spirit temple has the snake statues. this occurs anywhere in the forest temple, which is quite strange and further connects it to the theory we will discuss soon about the forest temple possibly having another use in its history. The gurudu race went after the ocarina of time with the mask of majora. This point refers to the fact that in the games following Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask, at least as far as the Hyrule Historia timeline is concerned, no games in those timelines have gurudu, even with Twilight Princess which takes place apparently centuries after Majora's Mask and has a grudu desert the grudu. people don't appear in this game at all nor do they appear in the following chronological game four swords, so who knows, maybe they somehow went extinct.
He was killed by Link with Majora's Mask during the night of the first day. An old woman will pass by from the north. Clock Town with a bag of bombs for their store before passing, Sakon can be seen waiting nearby suspiciously as the old woman makes her way through Sakon will steal the bag and it is up to Link to stop him in most circumstances, the player He will brandish his sword. to stop him, which will cause him to drop the bag while he escapes; however, if the player were to draw his bow and shoot sakon, he will explode along with the bag now normally, when you slash him with your sword he will just drop the bag. and he will run until he leaves Clock Town, but in this case he just left, even though Link successfully stopped Sakon.
However, he does not retrieve the bag for the old woman, so doing this does not give Link any rewards after doing this. Sakon doesn't appear anywhere else in the game, which supports the theory that he does indeed die and I mean, if you need more proof that he disappeared after exploding from a huge bag of bombs that exploded on him, but I mean, there you go , link. actually murder a person, so that's pretty crazy. The Forest Temple is Hyrule Castle. This refers to a fan theory that the Forest Temple was the original Hyrule Castle long ago, based on what we are told in the Ocarina of Time story or at least what the player can come to a conclusion about.
The other temples in the game all have a purpose within their world or have descriptions to give meaning to their place within the game, for example the Shadow Temple is a prison and torture chamber used by the Shika to punish to the enemies of the royal family and even more vague temples like the fire temple can at least be theorized a little more clearly that it was possibly a mine or maybe even a prison given the number of cells there areinside, but the forest temple is completely a mystery. There isn't much in-game text that gives any clues about its story, nor does its location or what they have to say about it hint at any real theories, which is where the fans come in, of course, which is why the main theory seems to be so following. that the temple was once a castle or at least a fortress, this is believed to be the case, given some evidence, the temple only has one entrance which can only be accessed after navigating through a maze on a narrow path, which makes it easier for an army to advance towards Attacking the fortress is difficult secondly with the castle or the layout of the fortress.
The high walls feature battlements, which are those tooth-shaped designs often seen on castles. These are designed so that archers can defend the castle and have an advantageous place to shoot from. cover and lastly the ornate interior, which lends itself more to being a castle than a fortress, as a fortress has no reason to be so well decorated as it is a means of military containment rather than royalty, Additionally, I came across an interesting theory that establishes this theory. that the pose or possibly some other sage or elder who became that pose had the magic used to light the colored flames that summoned the elevator.
This elevator is the only way to access the basement, making it the safest place in the entire temple. Additionally, once you enter the basement you need to complete another puzzle to enter the boss room. why make it so difficult to enter this room? You know, outside of game design and all that, I'm speaking strictly in-universe, well, the boss room, some have said, looks a lot like not only the Temple of Time's Master Sword Chamber, but also the chamber of the wise men with a triforce in the center and six triangles surrounding it, possibly representing the wise men outside that circle, are six triforces that could also refer to the six wise men.
In conclusion, the theory states that this room was once possibly a place of worship for the triforce or possibly even a gateway to the chamber of the sages who burned Deku. I'm pretty sure this refers to a fan theory that Link is the reason the great deku tree died afterwards. Burning all the spider webs inside caused a fire to spread, killing the tree. I definitely don't think this is true since obviously the fire doesn't spread after the fabrics are destroyed and I'm pretty sure it's implied that the effects of the curse had taken its toll even though Luke defeated the queen.
Goma, it was simply too late if this is not what the tip of the iceberg is referring to then I'm really not sure but it is what I found in my research, the originally planned temple of earth and wind. to be part of the full game, but was scrapped due to limited space on the cartridge, the Temples of Earth and Wind were most likely postponed and implemented later in Ura Zelda, which would later be released on the Nintendo DVD. 64, but of course this would be ruled out. completely with the death of nintendo 64 dd gannon's horse after link acquires the three spirit stones and heads to the temple of time zelda and impa quickly flee the castle on horseback, barely escaping ganondorf, who pursues them a gossip stone In the game he reveals that his horse is a Gerudo stallion, which makes sense given Ganondorf's past as a member of the Gurudu, being the first male born among them in 100 years.
After this scene, the horse is never seen again unless You count Ganon's ghost horse, which we will get. As this theory goes a little

deeper

regarding the fate of this horse, one theory assumes that in the seven year jump at some point the horse must have died. The evidence for this is that Ingo mentions that he plans to give Ganondorf epona only to lose the horse to Lincoln a bet whether or not this is due to something happening to Ganondorf's horse is a mystery of course another theory leads us to the Ghost Ganon, as I mentioned above, this theory is that Ganondorf simply had his horse stay with Ghost Ganon. and is killed by Link during the fight that Ganondorf made a double of his horse also for Phantom Cannon or that after the death of his horse he reanimates it as a spirit to help Phantom Ganon in any way to the final destiny. of the horse is unknown anymore. which was never seen again unless of course it was with phantom cannon fodo.
I had never realized this before, but after doing the research it is quite evident how unique fado is among the other kokiri characters. She is one of the few kokori that has a unique design that is not based on a generic template and rumor has it that she was going to be the temple of the wind sage which of course was ultimately never implemented. She also seems to spend a lot of time in the Lost Woods and is the one who gives the player the poachers saw after returning from the potion shop in Carrico Village with the mushroom potion and she demands it be given to her since she used mushrooms that were taken from the forest.
Drowned Ben Drowned Ben is an infamous creepypasta made in what I would call the golden age of creepypasta when other legends like Slenderman and Tails Doll created by Alex Hall under the alias Jedusable were born. It tells the story of a gamer who, while building his Nintendo 64 collection, acquires a very strange copy of Majora's Mask. that he appears to be haunted by the spirit of a deceased boy named ben who, as the title implies, died by drowning. The first arc is the most interesting and mysterious, as it's really just about Ben and Jeducible's interactions with the game and Ben himself, then he starts to go crazy when a cult known as the Moon Children gets involved and Also, it's really funny how from the beginning so many people believed this story and thought it was real or at least this guy had a really messed up copy of the game that was crashing like crazy, but either way it has certainly left its mark on the internet. horror shark in ocarina of time in the lakeside laboratory of lake hylia if you use the iron boots to sink into the puddle of water, you will find a shark behind bars at the same bottom, while nowadays it is easy to believe that the shark is only there as decoration, it's still a bit of a strange addition, regardless of whether it adds something to a game, it's a joke, people often forget the implications of such an action adding something to a game despite being A joke makes it canon in that universe, so yeah, maybe I'm overthinking it, but there's a shark at the bottom of this pool.
Why was it that when I was a child, a stupid child, I might add, I was somehow at least able to understand what the shark was? actually a 2D texture and not a model, so I knew it wasn't going to attack or anything, but I still tried to get it to do something to no avail. super slide are speedrunning terms used to describe two methods of quickly moving Link through Hyrule and since these methods also work in Majora's Mask, although I don't know exactly what's going on here, both methods seem to involve bombs and the way Link's character model interacts with them by exploding, allowing manipulation of the physics engine to make Link move much faster.
Stall Child getting bigger in Ocarina of Time as Kid Link. If you keep fighting Stallchild in Hyrule Field at night, a larger and larger one will appear from time to time. They spawn until the day comes and stop spawning. If you use a game shark to make the knight never end, you can keep making the stall boy bigger and bigger until eventually the game can no longer stably put him in. the field, curiously, the same can also be done with levers and grays, but not with the same degree of growth, which makes the stall child unique in that sense.
Fused shadow. Another fan theory, this one suggests that Princess Twilight's fused shadow has a similar design style to Majora's mask, hinting that they are somehow related to or created by the same tribe that created Majora's mask as described in his backstory the happy mask salesman. Additionally, many people believe that when Midna is transformed by the shadow mecha, the creature resembles Majora's first and second forms and yes. I mean, I guess so, but honestly it's completely a fan theory, there's nothing wrong with that, I personally wonder how the connection between Majora and this ancient tribe and the Twilight kingdom could have come together.
The undead are Hylians. Personally, I always thought this was it. Anyway, I mean what else were supposed to be on Majora's mask. However, there is a bit of gossip that says that the re-dead are the reanimated corpses of the iconic Trouble Dance troupe, but that could simply only apply to Majora's mask, which as we established is very much its own thing, given other theories, I mean considering an ocarina of time, the most common place to find re-dead is in the destroyed market that used to be full of people or in the crypts under the tombs, I don't think it's too far out of the question. kingdom. of possibility that they were once the curse of the royal family of the hylians, I honestly couldn't find much information on this since even googling the curse of the royal family ocarina of time or even the curse of the royal family Zelda doesn't shed anything, there are no forums discussing theories about a curse or anything like that.
The closest thing I can find is the sunflower theory, with which I also very much agree that being the family there will always be a daughter named Zelda who will always control the triforce of wisdom and will be essential to stop a great evil that will threaten . the kingdom is really like the princess's curse, not so much the whole family, but i guess everyone is threatened, but it's actually zelda who does all the hard work, guard of the dying city, this point has become quite popular in the last few years as one of I guess it's disturbing stuff in E-rated games, but anyway, once Link collects the three spirit stones and heads to Hyrule, witnessing the princess escape and Ganondorf chasing her, you have a chance to find this unique scene before going to the temple of At that point you are supposed to go back through the back alleys of the market and you will come across a guard leaning against a wall.
When you talk to him, he will warn you about Ganondorf's betrayal and tell you that Zelda wanted you to leave. to the temple of time after he will shake and then collapse motionless if you try to talk to him again Navi will say that he is no longer moving, this of course is easily overlooked by many players as at any point in the game there is virtually no no reason. For ever going to the back alleys of the market, the only notable thing I can think of is the piece of heart you get from finding the dog, but other than that I can't think of any other reason to still go back there.
During such a key moment in the story it seems so unlikely that Zelda specifically tells you in the scene when Link takes the ocarina to go to the temple of time, so even with the scars hinting at going there, it's nothing we didn't already know. a very strange little part of the story, but one that a lot of people seem to like for its darker tone in the game grog suicide another fan theory, although this one is a bit far-fetched, suggests that grog committed suicide with the poacher's saw before becoming a stealth. house during the time link take the mushrooms to the potion shop and return to the lost forest only to find a photo there, who gives you the saw in exchange for the mushrooms.
I really think it became a stealth house or it wandered off and got lost, which two would result in it becoming a southern house either way. I really don't think it's suicide. We really don't need another fan theory about suicide. Finished? It's a limbo. We will talk about this a little later. When we get to the five stages of grief in Majora's Mask theory, but it basically suggests that Link died before his encounter with Skull Kid or during their encounter, some believe that he dies when he falls from the legend, the cave, and others. theories suggest that while exploring. the lost forest in search of navi link becomes astalfo says that since he is a hylian and not kokiri anyone who wanders through the lost forest and gets lost will become stalfos now, personally i have always wondered if when fado tells link about the fate of those who enter the lost forests who are not from the forest or kokiri, did she mean that because you get lost you will become a house of the south or did she mean that if you enter and are not kokiri or from the forest Originally, the forest maze will trap you intentionally. and you will become a staff house, it's hard to say for sure and even then it could just be a rumor since of course Link was able to navigate the lost forest and come out okay, and if he takes a wrong turn, he won't.traps him in normal space, he simply returns it to the entrance, again this could be the triforce of courage protecting him, but it's really all speculation, we'll delve into this a little more later in the desert pyramid, initially it is rumored to be a hidden secret.
Dungeon located in the enchanted wastelands, the pyramid was one of the first legends of zelda, a rumor that perplexed many players and made them search aimlessly for a way to access it. It was rumored that in the wastelands, if you played the storm song in a special area, If you saw lightning in the pyramid it would be revealed in the distance, of course, if Link leaves the mounds in the haunted wasteland, he will be taken to the area. start and the pyramid was always in this unreachable area with traps that you can access. but it turns out that it is actually just a large pointed rock that from a distance may resemble a pyramid or similar structure.
Malin is an alcoholic with a majora mask. There is a special milk made at the romani ranch called chateau romani and it is implied to be an alcoholic drink on many occasions during the game as it is said to be so potent that children cannot drink it and in reality, Aside from alcohol or some kind of mind-altering property, what could be so potent that children can't? Take it anyway, I'm still not sure why this refers to melon as an alcoholic, the only time he gives her the drink is before the moon falls as her sister does it to relax or while they wait for her inevitable death , but where does the alcoholic part come from?
They come from, honestly, I'm not sure about the Zelda 64 beta trailer. I'm pretty sure this refers to the French Zelda 64 trailer which has a lot of cool unused assets, but it looks pretty close to the finished product, especially the link model. , it's almost exact. Same thing, the HUD of course looks a little different as do most of the locations used in the trailer. Also is it just me or does it seem like there are two different swords, one using the a button for some strange reason and the other using c down. With that, the B button doesn't even show anything very strange, but I'm sure in the past this trailer looked absolutely incredible.
Puppeteer Girl. This theory states that the Sheikah secretly controls all of Hyrule, whether the royal family is a front or not. or they work secretly, even around them is a topic of debate with the abundance of images of girls throughout the world of Hyrule. This is what has led many people to believe in this theory, much like real world theories about, you know, the Illuminati or the Freemasons, maybe the Ocarina of Time is the real Freemason initiation game, well Anyway, it seems to me like the girl as a group has basically completely disappeared, it seems like only Imba and Sheikh are left, of course it's just a costume, I think it's an interesting idea, but outside of the abundance of their symbols In all of Hyrule, I don't think the theory holds up much.
However, there is a possibility that perhaps in the past, when their numbers were larger, they had more control. There is definitely no coincidence that the symbol is so ubiquitous and must have significance somewhere. I don't necessarily think the series is wrong, just wrong in the time frame of ocarina of time composer brothers the composer brothers are two poses who reside in the Caprico Village cemetery in life the brothers named Sharp and Flat lived in Caprico Village and served Both members of the family were considered accomplished musicians and composers, it seems that they were also scholars, at least to some extent, as they were also on a personal fact-finding mission analyzing the apparently hereditary powers of the royal family, these types of ties with all the curse of the royal family. and i think they also realized the fact that the daughter is always called zelda and is always the bearer of the triforce of wisdom.
Later in this investigation, they also discovered mysteries regarding the ocarina of time and potentially its time travel abilities. and time and control, the two were killed by Ganondorf after refusing to give him any knowledge they had studied or researched for years. The two brothers can be fought in Ocarina of Time by examining their graves at the back of the Kakariko Cemetery upon being defeated. They will recognize that Link is not one of Ganon's followers and tell him that they had each studied a song, one to summon the sun and the other to summon the moon, which of course leads Link to discover and learn the song of the sun inside his crypt in Majora. mask, have a much less complicated role.
Sharp was tricked into selling his soul and locked his brother under the Ikana Graveyard upon freeing him, he will teach Link the song of storms, which Link must play for Sharp so that his soul can heal. the only case in the game where the healing song is not used to heal a soul. Oh, and lastly, I would be remiss to mention that many players think that because Sharp and Flat wear red and green respectively, as well as having mustaches that this is a nod to Mario Luigi bomb floating a glitch used in conjunction with the infinite sword glitch. floating bomb refers to a technique where the player places a bomb does a backflip at a very specific time and the bomb damages him if done correctly the link will be floating in the air where he landed, you can keep doing this to reach higher and higher and I guess it's really good for reaching certain high areas early in the game, but that's just my assumption, along with these glitches, Deku related nightmares are completely over my head.
While I'm not 100 % sure, I'm about 99% sure this refers to developer and director ego numa and the fact that due to the overwhelming stress during the development of majora's mask he suffered many nightmares, one of which involved being chased by deku the The next day, the stage director showed him the scene where Link turns into a Deku, which is a nightmare, showing him surrounded by a mini Deku and a large decoy chasing him. Ocarina objects. Another quickrun bug, this one allows Link to use items instead of the ocarina. in particular a bottle, since most of the speedrunning stuff for zelda is a little over my head, describing the steps to perform this bug is also a little over my head, but there seem to be a lot of videos They demonstrate it on YouTube if you are curious. to check it out, the archery boy easter egg is quick and easy, this refers to a little joke that happens if the link goes to the kakariko village shooting gallery pays to start the game and then proceeds to Don't shoot a single arrow, the owner will simply say, "it's okay." You don't have to play if you don't want to and you will repeat this line every time you try to talk to him, he won't let you play anymore unless you leave and come back.
Sword beam attack in every Zelda game before Ocarina of Time introduced a beam attack. where, in general, when Link was at full health he could shoot lightning from his sword while swinging it. It's unfortunate that he was removed from the Ocarina of Time, as I personally think he would have been a lot of fun to play with, but oh well, in Majora's Mask, the fierce deity Link can shoot lasers from his sword as long as it's aimed. to an enemy, so at least that exists now, if only they would allow us to use the fierce deity anywhere, then our lightning bolts could be used everywhere, a great cataclysm in ocarina. of time, the great cataclysm occurs during link's seven year time jump and is what is responsible for the now destroyed world that Link encounters upon his return, many citizens of hyrule have been killed, the cities and towns are now no longer more than a shell of what they once were and some completely destroyed Ganondorf, who through Link's opening of the sacred realm now possesses a triforce of power and is using it across the land to wreak havoc and destruction across all who oppose him as he searches for the other two pieces of the divided triforce timeline in reference to the The theory that when Link defeated Ganon and returned to his childhood two timelines were created, one in the future with Ganon sealed and unbound, and Link's childhood timeline, which would later go into Majora's Mask, Nintendo also includes a third time here called Hero Falls Timeline now I really don't want to get into why not I like the idea of a Hero Falls timeline so I'll leave it at that anyway, the idea of the timeline splitting after Link defeats Ganon has generally always been accepted and creates a unique location in the timeline of the games in the chronology.
Paradox of the song of storms. Something very strange happens related to the way Link learns the storm song in the ocarina of time when he is an adult, the windmill man tells Link that some child in the past. I taught him a song that made the windmill go crazy and he taught the song to an adult. Link that song, of course, is the song of storms. Then, as a child, Link must play the storm song in front of the man, causing the windmill to go crazy. What the paradox says is that the old man teaches an adult the storm song because the child taught him the storm song, but only because the adult learned the storm song from the man, then because the man taught him to an adult the song of storms. and I traveled back in time with the knowledge of the song.
Kid Link played the song for the man so that in the future the old man could teach Link the song, so I guess in the end the paradox isn't just the fact that the song is somehow strange. learning loop, but also where the song originated from in the first place star and crescent moon in all nintendo 64 versions of ocarina of time the crescent moon and star symbols are used on the mirror shield, dungeon blocks , floor switches and on guru signs within the game, it is commonly believed that these symbols were changed due to their close resemblance to the symbols of Islam and each re-release of the game, starting with the Gamecube version, has updated the symbols so that they have a new unique design.
However, one of these instances would be forgotten in Dami's tomb when you first enter, if you look up you will see the crescent moon and star along the edge of the room, this will eventually be removed in the new 3D version. of the spirit stone ocarina, simply put, during the development of the ocarina of time, it was once planned that the spirit stones themselves would be added to the ocarina of time to enter the temple of time. It is unknown why this was changed and it appears that the idea was scrapped from the beginning, as none of this exists anywhere in the game files. r kokiri I'm not really sure why this point suggests they would be kokiri, I think given the fact that they are in Hyrule Field it would be reason enough to believe they are anything but kokiri, but who knows and given that I really don't have a lot to say about this because I don't really see it as a viable rumor.
The only thing I found is that they are dead cokery that left the forest, but I mean, we see cokery outside the forest during the end credits the only real theory I can think of would be that Ganondorf cursed the kokiri to die if they ever left the forest and how Link defeated Ganondorf maybe that's why they were allowed to leave at that point. That's really all I have, but I think it's more likely that the Stahl children are potentially dead Hyrule armies, but I mean, they're not human skeletons and they don't actually represent any creatures in the Zelda universe, so again it's very hard to say what they are.
These are supposed to be prehistory debates, um, where do I start? Basically, in the day before Hyrule Historia gave us a definitive timeline, at least up to that point, many fans discussed timeline theories and came up with their own ideas for how it was established. I remember a long time ago buying my first laptop and seeing trailers for the game at the Zelda retrospective at the time, Twilight Princess wasn't even out yet and it was only recently announced, eventually the angry video game nerd would too. a video on the timeline around the same time and the popularity of these videos caused even more debates online and among friends, I remember having heated arguments with some friends about the timeline and location of some games, but honestly, We agreed for the most part.
What bothered me the most was when Hyrule Historia finally revealed the timeline at that point. I was actually quite upset because there was a Hero Falls timeline for me personally, which I find lazy in the first place, it implies that link dies in ocarina. of time is a timeline option, well that's fine, but then why are there no linesTime branching for all other Zelda games when you die? Seeing that they basically shoved all retro games into this link category, it seemed like an afterthought and not only that it seemed like they were trying to say that these were less important games because they obviously canonically link lives, so it was almost like they were saying these games were non-canonical and therefore less important.
I have grown up since then and personally nowadays I don't think there is any timeline unless it is explicitly stated that Majora's Mask is a direct sequel to Ocarina of Time. I feel like the discussions and videos made like the one above and so on put pressure on Nintendo to confirm the game connection when in all honesty I think they're all just legends and individual stories unless otherwise noted. I definitely don't think Nintendo was considering any at any point. form of continuity and finally just created a puzzle with pieces that fit together quite well, kind of like what all of us fans had done for years before the iq versions.
The IQ was a plug and play type system made for the Chinese markets in 2003 that was designed by Nintendo with regulations in line with the Chinese government, the console is integrated within the controller and was also capable of downloading games from the Internet. It also features a removable memory card that can be taken to kiosks in stores that can also load games from What I can say from the research I was able to gather it seems as if the ocarina of time on the iq consoles is 1.1 and the only reason why I believe this is because a crescent moon and star symbol is still present, the only way to know.
However, it's a safe bet if you could find fire temple music in the iq version as that would be the determining factor, still, it's strange that the iq version isn't 1.2 like the Gamecube ocarina time master quest , as well as the legend of zelda collector. Both editions have already been published and all corrections and controversies have been removed, so if anyone has any ideas, please let me know the lens of truth, unwanted locations of all points on the iceberg. I've done more research on this one and was more curious. only to turn up empty-handed, at least I think so.
I've tried to find any instances of truth lens that show things in areas where you're not expected to use it or have it at that point, like in the deku tree or maybe by using a hunting shark to get back to the area initial Majora's Mask before Link enters the nether clock city of Termina and is forever locked out of that area, but again no luck, so I'm really not sure what this point is referring to. and it sucks because, much like the Super Mario 64 iceberg video, the point I was most interested in on this iceberg was this point and my research hasn't led to anything, well, the time corridor, similar to which I mentioned in Super Mario 64.
The ocarina of time videos also had many assets and secrets revealed when the iq leak occurred in 2020, one location that caught the attention of many was what appears to be a long hallway in a style similar to the temple of time, which has been called the hall of For now it is not entirely known whether it was initially intended to be the original design of the temple or its own location, as this entry is very short. I will include what else was found in the iq leak. Some new enemies were found, such as the alpha slime, the original octarok, and something called ironneck, as well as an early version of the wall master enemy with a different design and an alpha skeleton that looks like an early version of astalfos.
Also found was the larger kokori forest beta area, which We'll talk about some high-resolution textures of some of the items on the item selection screen soon, which is really cool to see in so much detail. Link's mother is Mido's house. Link's backstory in Ocarina of Time isn't delved into too much. much beyond a few lines of dialogue from the deku tree sapling, after completing the forest temple, he tells Link that his mother took him to the forest and gave him to the deku tree to protect him and make him live among the kokiri, everything we know after that. of the game is that she died shortly after Germany, however, you would get more details about this Link's backstory in a magazine similar to Nintendo Power called Club Nintendo.
They published a series of comics detailing the events leading up to the game and what Link's parents were doing during it. Link's father, a soldier in the royal army, returns home to his wife and his newborn son Link and tells them to prepare for the worst, as the war is about to begin. The two plan to find a safe place to raise Link somewhere away from war and violence where they can be at peace as the grandmother of a family bond also present during this conversation mentions a legend that tells about the kokiri who live in what deep in the forest.
Later, the castle is under siege by a rebel group and Link's father helps in the battle only to be mortally wounded and to fall protecting the king's mother Link that night flees on horseback with Link to take him to safety afterward. After riding for a while and wondering if she will ever find the forest, she notices a dark shadow in the trees following her and she calls. she approaches and appears to be a kapoor gabora owl. He informs her that the link is very special and that she is on the right path to find the cokery.
He tells her to find the large deku tree and also warns her against any mortal who enters the kokori. The forest will turn into a plant, she accepts to ensure the safety of her son and continues until finally reaching the great deku tree. He informs her that he had been awaiting her arrival and that this bond will be of utmost importance in the future of Hyrule. The deku tree grants. her access to the kokori forest, but tells her that only her son will survive if she goes, she continues and shortly after entering she collapses when two kokori see her, she asks them to take her son and they agree that she then explodes into a blinding light, it's where she put a new tree, it's now standing, Link grows in the forest, he's made fun of because he never had a fairy, but he still makes friends with Soraya and others, and the comic ends with Navi waking up Link at the beginning of the game, so anyway, based on the location of where the great deku tree path leads to the kokuri forest and where Link's mother collapsed, this area seems to be the exact location of Mido's house , so yeah, that's a little messy.
I don't think this comic is really canon, but hey, it's wild. The theory and the fact that we have a backstory like this is amazing, so you know what is canon to me. 100 percent in fact confirmed it. Agonuma just texted me and told me it's 100 canon that they will never reconnect. Please like, comment and subscribe to Triforce collectible early. rook arena time trailers and screenshots look as if link was able to obtain the real triforce as these images showed him holding it like he usually does after obtaining an item once the game finally came out players who completed the game were They realized that this was no longer the case, which did not prevent rumors from appearing all over the internet explaining very elaborate methods on how to obtain the triforce.
Many players even said that if you did all these steps to obtain the triforce, many things would happen in the game. sword rays were unlocked in Zora's domain, they were thawed, you could swim underwater for a limited time and much more, of course, none of this was true, but what fueled the rumor for many was actually a simple inconsistency in the user interface, if you want to call it that. on the secondary screen showing all the medallions, they surround what looks like a hollow triforce. Now, before Link obtains each medallion, there appears to be an outline or hollow circle of the medallion before it takes its place.
The triforce also appears this way on screen. leaving more evidence that you should be able to collect it so it can fill those spaces, of course as we all know there is no way to do this, but still don't forget that the link has the triforce anyway, so at least you will get a third of it's a chic genital analysis, okay, I'm going to keep this simple sheik is zelda, the transformation is magical, which we can conclude given how chic reveals herself as zelda in the temple of time, so there's no real doubt that This is the case, but What makes people question the most is that since Sheik's eyes are red and Zelda's are blue, she becomes a completely different person, but I generally disagree with This, the power of magic is strong, there is no doubt, but I actually think Zelda just used her magic to change her clothes. hair and eye color, since these would be the most defining traits to give her away, why on earth would she waste magic changing things that are not necessary for her, simply covering herself with different clothes and changing what is visible?
Additionally, Nintendo has stated that since Sheik is Zelda in disguise which would make Sheik a woman, even if Sheik is considered an alter ego of Zelda that Zelda created to be perceived as masculine and as characters like Rudo call masculine, I don't think that has been intended as more than just zelda just pulling a mule to stay hidden skull kid young link mask within the majora mask files there are three unused versions of a young link mask and they are located near other associated items With Skull Kid using a game shark it is possible to force the young long mask to take the place of Majora's mask over Skull Kid's face.
The purpose of the youth mask is unknown, as it is of course not used in the final game and is not even shown in any promotional material, perhaps Skull Kid would have put it on at some point, but. really it's all speculation he sold his soul to the devil returning once again to Sharpen Flat this point refers to a scene in Majora's mask in which Flat during a conversation with Link tells him that his brother Sharp sold his soul to the devil now of course This might be a figure of speech, but simply mentioning the devil in the Zelda game opens up possibilities for real-world religious connections to be present in the game and much more, it's the same kind of deal as when Han Solo said I'll see you in hell. and the empire strikes back, it starts a whole debate among fans about whether or not one thing exists and if so, do the other things connected to it exist, well no, I don't really think that's necessarily the case, but if it is so devastating for you, it breaks your immersion because the script was written by people from our world, so sorry, it happens sometimes anyway, let's continue here because it could just be a false description that you see Skull Kid throughout the game, Many often refer to him as an imp. npcs now, an imp is often associated with demons in folklore and a figure of a devil or demon leader can exist without religious intent, so I think it's supposed to be more in that sense anyway regarding that other theory is that a school boy showed up and offered to help sharp saying he could restore the royal family's economy only to curse him, instead bring back captain keita ego stewie kana and his servants the dancing troop the army and garo are undead beings in a sort of faust or monkey's paw style deal where a deal you make with the devil usually works, but usually ends up tragically counterproductive.
For speedrunning purposes, this location is generally the case of Ganon's castle tower collapse, where after defeating Ganondorf, he threatens to bring down the entire castle and Lincoln Zelda must escape the speed category of any percentage. She has used this technique to push the record lower and lower, finding different ones. points to perform the wrong warp as soon as possible ganondorf bleeds the red ocarina of time upon its US release it had three versions since its initial release date version 1.0 1.1 and 1.2 in both versions 1.0 and 1.1 defeating ganondorf will cough up blood red this was changed in version 1.2 and all future releases will be green blood I guess, so as not to upset the esrb and change the game's rating, you know, even though it already has an e rating.
I don't know, maybe they thought the parents would get angry or something, it's definitely not the only thing that changed in version 1.2 and soon we'll get to those full body dead hands during dead hand fights, multiple hands pop up around the arena which match the design of the dead hands and the color of the skin, leading some fans to speculate. Whether or not these hands are somehow attached to the dead hand or if there is something else entirely when you examine the dead hand Navi will say beware of his infinite hands, providing further evidence that the hands are part of the creature as a whole. , but actually it's hard to say.
Additional fan speculation leads toThe belief that the dead hand is based on the preta, which is a supernatural being described in Hinduism, Buddhism, Taoism, and Chinese and Vietnamese folk religion. They are generally creatures that are always hungry and are illustrated and described in very detailed way. Similar to the dead hand in the game, the equipable Majora's mask, you can find many YouTube videos. I will show the link equipping an obtainable portable version of Majora's Mask, but this of course was only implemented with codes from Game Shark or possibly by manipulating a ROM in an emulator. one of the videos I saw demonstrating Majora's mask takes a smear of Don Guerrero's mask using the Wayback machine.
I could even find people talking about how to unlock Majora's Mask in 2003. One entry says: go to Clocktown and wait until the third day and then midnight. wait until the timer goes off wait until the last minute and press start quickly fire 10 ice arrows, 10 fire arrows and 10 light arrows in that order then quickly fire your long shot at the moon 20 times and you will be taken to the luna and he will skip the four children and go directly to majora and he will be paralyzed, kill him only with light arrows and then you will see the normal scene, after the credits restart your console, enter your file and you will be able to access majora's mask instead of the mask of the fierce deities see things like this so similar to luigi in super mario 64.
I don't know, although now we all know it was fake, there was something mysterious about the games back then, even if they ended up being lies , made the games much more interesting back then and mysterious. The fact that we know everything there is to know about every game today is a big departure from how games used to be, not to mention that games are worse today. I still think there are many. The new fantastic titles that are coming out are just different and I don't think kids today can experience it that way, with a combination of the early days of the internet as free-for-all 3D games, something completely new and the lack of it.
Even though simple communication like texting is so prevalent these days, I know that developers like Rockstar go to great lengths to hide crazy things in their games for players to find and that makes me happy, at least I know. has kept alive in some sense, seven days concept in a nutshell. The time cycle for Majora's Mask was originally going to be seven days instead of three. Personally, I think this change was a great idea since the three-day cycle is long enough to get things done, but also short enough to give the player a sense of urgency.
It is not uncommon for the end of a dungeon to slowly approach the third day and sometimes even get dangerously close to the end of the three-day timer, also when it comes to waiting for events specifically at a certain time on the second or third day. waiting almost reaches the point of being annoying, so I can only imagine that if there were seven days, this would only amplify the players' annoyance with standing still unless they implemented a more fine-tuned method of time travel, something like in the Majora's Mask 3D bottle adventure, another speed. Execution related point: This refers to the glitch that allows the player to assign almost any item to the b button.
There really isn't much more to it than that as it's again just another speedrunning term, so continue on to the next Kokiri Forest beta shown at the beginning. Promotional images and clips from the game. The Kokori Forest beta area was similar in many ways to the final product, at least in terms of design aesthetics, but it was much larger in scale and featured a few other elements that made it stand out from what we get in the game. Link's house from the final version is there with the latter and all the drawings on the outside of the other houses, however they all look the same unlike the mostly unique houses you would see in the final version.
Another interesting touch is that the deku tree is very visible to In most areas of the village, I can't really understand how big this area is and it's better that they went with the smaller version that we know of as it is much more focused and is It feels very populated and lived in what is shown. in the beta it's pretty simple, save for a few unique features that, as far as I know, aren't anywhere in the final game, but those few things definitely don't make it better than what we got, so it's a nice trade-off. not much more.
Let's say about this, although five stages of grief in Majora's mask that continue from the terminal is the limbo point of the iceberg, we have the five stages of grief the five stages of grief are a model theory that in general the cases represent the five emotional stages experienced During grief, usually the death of a family member or close friend, those five stages are denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance. It's a common fan theory that Majora's Mask follows these five points and I'll try to explain them to you here, starting with the denial. link enters the clock city first and for the first day most citizens express no fear or even absolute doubt that the moon will really fall.
Second anger when they go to the Woodfall temple in the deku palace, we have the deku king who is attacking in anger. the monkey angered the missing princesses and accused the monkey of having something to do with it for no reason to do so lashing out blindly simply out of anger third party we have a bargain when link goes to stonehead and finds darmani's spirit he begs link to bring him back he comes back from the dead with his magic or somehow, Link of course uses the healing song on him, but there's no way to bring someone back from the dead just to demand their soul, like Link does.
Fourth, we have depression in the Great Bay. Lulu is. experiencing severe depression to the point of not being able to speak after losing his eggs, we finally have acceptance at the ikana tower and the valley link is literally surrounded by the dead and symbolically climbing the ikana tower is a metaphor for him ascending to the afterlife while I think this is a fun theory and you can easily see how the characters' feelings can represent the five stages in order. I truly believe that emotions are much more varied than that and it's really just one character in each of these five areas experiencing the emotion that corresponds to the five stages of grief when other characters around them are also going through other emotions.
Aigio Numa has stated that while the emotions were intentional in themselves, having them arranged that way was not and many more emotions were being explored. rather than just one at a time and like I said I very much agree with it regardless it works pretty well and I have a feeling this theory will live alongside Majora's Mask for years to come. Unicorn Fountain, an asset supposedly from beta versions of Ocarina of Time, as it appeared in early screenshots of the game, the Unicorn Fountain was a unique fountain similar to a fairy fountain, as it would heal Link and presumably fill your magic meter.
Many rumors claim that this source would have given Link the sword beam. ability that is often also associated with the complete link to find the triforce, many rumors point to link obtaining the triforce here in the early versions or of course after performing some crazy task that is impossible to complete it is also theorizes that she was possibly intended to be included in Ura Zelda, but that, of course, is completely unknown since Nintendo has yet to talk much about minor things like unicorn fonts or much of anything two three one is fine, in a nutshell We all know that 23 is number one, the clue that the deku thicket inside the deku tree gives a link to defeat his brothers guarding queen gomez's lair.
People, as we learned from the iceberg above, will look at anything and think it has a deeper meaning, so people have tried to find other uses for two, three, one, two, no. Oh, and people also think that in addition to being a code for the deku tree boss room, it's also an homage to Michael Jordan, whose jersey number is the famous 23. So why not? I mean basketball is pretty popular in Japan from what I can tell. Voice commands were surely removed. Majora's Mask at some point in development was planned to have voice commands that could be used in-game.
YouTube user Zoinkity demonstrated this and also says that they are still present in the Gamecube versions of Majora's Mask and I assume this would have been achieved using the microphone that comes with Heiyu Pikachu as it is actually the only peripheral microphone I know of. for the n64 specifically shown in your The video is a voice command to take a photo with the pictogram and say hello while driving Epona to use a carrot and speed up, among other commands. It's a pretty interesting video, so check it out. I didn't even know this existed, so it's cool. still learning about new things that are hidden in the cartridge waiting to be found tetraforce in ocarina of time the hylian shield has four yellow triangles three that form the triforce and one at the bottom upside down now if you slide that one upside down Turns out It fits right into the empty slot in the center of the triforce that makes up the tetraforce.
Many fans thought this was somehow a hint at a possible fourth piece of the triforce, so they referred to it as a tetraforce. This apparently became so large that Miyamoto himself has acknowledged it and debunked any existence of additional pieces to the existing Triforce Temple of Heaven, similar to the Desert Pyramid, but on a much more well-known scale, the Temple of Heaven was a rumored secret dungeon within ocarina of time, the theory behind it. The existence of the temple is due to the fact that all other sages except aru are hidden within their respective temples, so there must be a temple for raru.
When I was a kid I thought that collecting the three spirit stones was like a big dungeon and opening the door of time and taking the master sword was the end of the temple and I mean you are in the temple of time so why not can it simply be the Raru temple? Well, nowadays I don't really think it's the temple of time. It itself is the respective temple of Raaru. I accept that he is kippura gabora and was the only sage who could stay inside the chamber of sages and was already awake and waiting for the link, also, raru does not speak in a similar way to the others.
Sages About Awakening Some of the sages are surprised at what they have become and generally did not know that they would become sages, but Raaru seems very different and has much more knowledge anyway. I am deviating from the path back to the temple of heaven. The rumored way to enter the dungeon itself is beyond ridiculous, as are all the Luigi Super Mario 64 rumors. One way I've read basically says you have to cheat to unlock it, so that in itself It is only a clear indication that it is false. He says that. you must cheat so that it stays at night and then keep fighting the children until it becomes massive like we did before, once you defeat a certain number of them, a portal to the temple of heaven will be created in the middle of the field of Hyrule upon completing this dungeon. of the many rumored rewards is of course the triforce arya 4 21 97 an early version of ocarina of time this is from a time when the game was still planned to have voice acting for some characters arya was the character model used to demonstrate this. in this version and we'll talk about it later, but to start a little bit with the whole arya thing, a company called don't ask software partnered with nintendo to help with voice acting by implementing their auto mouth software who developed what basically places an animated mouth on a modeled character to more clearly show the mouth movements as a 3D model, doing so would look very outside of what they are actually saying as a character, however, due to certain issues with arya, this was canceled and the animated mouth concept was scrapped, leaving the arya model pretty unfinished, so, more on that later, majora is the hero.
Much of the legend of zelda games have been adapted into manga narratives in the manga adaptation of Majora's Mask, more backstory in the Mask's Story Revealed, as well as the backstory of the fierce deity that we discussed earlier in the iceberg, but we'll go a little deeper here in the manga. Majora in the past was a dragon that protected what the manga calls an empty land. that he was neither moving nor dead, the dragon was said to have powerful armor that could grant wishes and give power. One day, a man believed to be the fierce deity approached the dragon andHe proceeded to play music for three days and three nights.
It was so magically melodic that the dragon was forced to dance to death after this, the fierce deity carved Majora's mask from the dragon's armor to seal its power within it, so I think what this point refers to It's to the fact that this dragon was protecting a land that was completely his, harming or bothering no one, and the fierce deity just shows up, kills him, and takes his power, which is why Majora, when he possesses the skull boy, is claiming which is hers due to it being forcibly taken from her now while I wouldn't call this heroic, rather I would say that it makes Majora certainly more tragic since the dragon had never done anything wrong or harmed anyone, at least as far as we know, either way, Majora is obviously causing more harm than good, so you can I wouldn't really call him a hero unless you're okay with revenge being heroic, which is fine, some people are and they aren't.
I won't criticize anyone for that, but I'm pretty sure the vast majority of people wouldn't consider it heroic, wouldn't they. cafe did anything to the skull boy, to majora, to lulu, to darmani, to the gorons or to anyone else affected by his action, yes, but at least that makes him a little more tragic villain and people always find him They love that kind of stuff, so it's a cool ocarina. of time changed my life because of the enormous influence that ocarina of time has had on games and players, many people have stated that ocarina of time is a life changing experience after having played it and yes, I guess so , if you just go on Google and type in ocarina of time changed my life, you will find countless forums and blog posts about people explaining their experiences with the game and yes, I think many of us can connect with this game on that level, but really the games have introduced me.
For many friends, not just Zelda, just reading a Resident Evil book in high school caused someone to ask me about Resident Evil and that person became one of my best friends and still is because he was a fan too. and I didn't know they made books about The Kingdom Hearts series introduced me to another close friend because in high school, when we handed exams to our neighbor to grade, I would sign the grading paper with a keyblade next to it and he would sign it. I recognized, yes, he was a great guy and of course Ocarina of Time and unfortunately all the friends I had made at the time when I was playing Arena of Time, who I called or who called me every time I discovered something new, in whose houses I slept After playing all night, those I talked about in the intro to this video, well, I don't talk to them anymore or know what happened to them, and while that may sound depressing, it's just life, not out of ill will or anything. for the style.
Bad things are happening between us, that's just the way it is, but I look back on those memories fondly and I think I can safely say that Ocarina of Time has certainly changed my life too. The Forbidden Build The Forbidden Build is a cursed early build from Ocarina of Time. It is said to contain the spirit of a dead game designer similar to the negative emotional aura of the wet and dry world. This entire construction seems to give off a feeling of unease and negativity. This build closely resembles early designs shown on trailers and at trade shows.
You know, the ones in which the city looks a lot like the wet and dry world, which leads me to believe in the connection that this construction has with the wet and dry world and its negative emotional aura. Also, this build introduces one more thing that we will discuss in the next point, appearance of arya, arya is a very strange cut mpc from ocarina of time, she is human, not much different than most of the other residents of Hyrule, she She says that she is a ghost whose last wishes have not been fulfilled, since she is human and not Hylian, she does not.
He doesn't appear as a ghost similar to Hylians like Dammi, but instead, he looks good, as his model appears to be missing, his face appears to be missing and is just a blank texture, and his face appears red in a model viewer, for some reason, now the way to spawn. her in the game is to do a cartridge swap with ocarina of time and super mario 64 and then put the ocarina of time cartridge back in once she is in the game. She is said to observe Link from afar and seems to interact with him in seemingly very minor ways. random and without any repetition or seemingly coded script leading some to believe that she may be linked to the customization ai in some way given her apparent self-awareness once she interacts with the player and tries to talk to him her text box is It is said to generate text at a slower rate than normal, suggesting that it can create text in real time to interact with the player.
Additionally, some players have reported that they can talk to her using the Nintendo 64 microphone, but apparently only after the game. is fooled into believing that there is a compatible disc inserted in the nintendo 64 dd as stated above, the soul of a nintendo game developer who died of a heart attack is believed to be inside the game cart and since the trick Cartridge swapping with Super Mario 64 is one way to activate it, some also theorize that the spirit or soul is the artificial intelligence behind the customization of Super Mario 64, as well as Arya or any type of customization that may occur within Ocarina. of time, and evil deeds can be rewarded with heaven from what I can tell, this really only applies to quom and kotek, as after their defeat in ocarina of time they gain halos and ascend upwards into a bright light in a similar representation that heaven usually has in Western media despite being the surrogate mothers of Ganondorf and Lending. themselves to evil there's not much more to say about this one but from researching this video it seems people are divided on how to pronounce kohumanko takes names specifically kotek I've always said them since I'm now comb and kotek but I googled it While doing it.
I did some research and found out that some people pronounce it kumei and kotake and a few other different pronunciations, so yeah, it's always weird when you come across a game that doesn't include voice acting and they give you a strange name, you have to figure it out and sometimes you'll meet someone who says it completely differently. I remember one time I met a guy in high school who called halo 3 stranger halo 3 stranger as if odst was a word and not an initial. I always thought it was very funny, but touching nonetheless. In the Dimensional Gap upon defeating the ghost Ganon, the head of the forest temple Ganondorf proclaims that he will banish the worthless creation to the Dimensional Gap.
It's rumored that he might simply be referring to some void, but in reality alternate worlds are nothing new. zelda games like the dark world in the link to the past or the twilight kingdom and the twilight princess or the silent kingdom and the skyward sword, so maybe what you are referring to is an area that exists between the limits of these realms, there really is no whole. much more than it could refer to, so for now we're pretty much in agreement that that's what it refers to or something similar majora is an agricore, so first I have to explain what an agrigore is, so let me start by explaining what tulpa is because It's almost the same thing.
A tulpa is an entity that often displays a will of its own and a degree of autonomy that is created by a single person. Think of it as an imaginary friend, but at an advanced level now an agrigore is the same except instead of being made by a single person, it is created by a group of people, the more people believe in it, the more power it has. Now regarding Majora's mask. I'm not entirely sure what it means, but here's my guess and before. I guess I just know it's just my personal theory on what this point means so it's a theory on a theory on an iceberg so yeah what I think is Majora's spirit and her powers are the manifestation of fear of all the people. around the clock in the city and in fact throughout Termina, that does not mean that his fears are a placebo because, as I said, the more you believe, the more power you have.
What I should have mentioned before is that some believe that tulpas or agrigores are demons that come to people in their time of need or calling and that is what I believe Majora is in this case, hence why he has the ability to still cause harm and do things like turn Cafe into a child. All we know is that the mask contains something powerful within it and obviously at the end of the game, he throws Skull Kid aside, now he has the power to act of his own will anyway, as Skull Kid causes damage through the terminal, more and more people recognize its presence and fear it more, and its power grows through that fear. not to mention the sphere of mass that is causing the moon to loom over us, so yeah, that's my theory on what this point of the iceberg is and it's the best I have in calculating that ocarina of time, any percentage of velocity destroyed , so this refers to the fact that the category of any percentage of speedrun is an absolute disaster when using ace, which means executing arbitrary code and by performing a very specific set of tasks, you can force the final scene to play simply performing these random acts while they certainly take skill to accomplish and are still difficult to do and still count toward lowering the record.
The method is considered very boring by many and watching it is not very entertaining. Custom AI from Super Mario 64 was used in Zelda 64. Some players believe that the customization, famous for its use in Super Mario 64, also exists to some extent in Ocarina of Time, although it is not discussed as much, I'm sure there are so many customization stories. There are copies of Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask waiting to be told it's just because everyone is too busy talking about Super Mario 64. Just wait soon enough for each copy of Ocarina of Time to be customized , stories will start and people will start discussing their encounters here is my personalized opinion on the history of time, but like I said with Super Mario 64, I probably just dreamed it.
I could have sworn that you can shoot the platform in Lake Hylia where the fire arrows land, but that doesn't seem to be the case now, it's too far away, the only way to get the fire arrows is to wait until the water level go up after beating the water temple, then you have to swim to the platform, so yeah, a minor detail, but I always remember it, but again. I was young when I played Ocarina of Time, so maybe I just drank this and remember the dream well or maybe it's just a Mandela effect or something like a real-life cult of moon children.
This refers to the Drowned Ben creepypasta, specifically the second part of this epic trilogy. heavily involved during the time the first third came out, but practically feuded throughout this entire time, the second part basically started after Ben frees himself from Majora's Mask cartridge, a cult known as the Moon Children reveal their existence and they wait for the end of time through the moon actually crashes into the earth in real life, delving much deeper into this story would more or less document the story of ben drowning and there are a lot of excellent channels on youtube that have discussed the story in its entirety, so if you want something comfortable to listen to while I play or clean up, something like what I do for my videos.
Go find one. I can at least attest that the beginning is a wild story, but that's all I have to do personally, maybe when I'm done with this I'll find it. I recorded a video myself and am enjoying listening to it and seeing how it all ends now that Ben's drowned story is complete. Majora's mask is a new version of the magic flute. Well, this is going to be long, so just to show you how incredibly complex it is. The tip of the iceberg is let me show you this image, yes, so I'll have to summarize it because it's incredibly deep and with so much information it can be a video on its own, in a nutshell, the characters and the story beats.
Amadeus Mozart's The Magic Flute somehow reflects the story of Majora's Mask, but I don't really see it. Here's a quick summary of the magic flute. I'll summarize it and try to keep it brief so that our main character is Tamino. who is a prince goes through the forest in an unknown land being chased by a snake and eventually faints he is saved by three women who serve the queen of the night when he wakes up the three women are nowhere to be seen and tamino sees a man named papageno seeing there is no one else in sight and is surprised to be alive.
Tamino assumes that Papageno killed the snake and saved his life and the two become friends. The three women then returned to Tamino informing him that they were the ones who rescued him and then show him a photo of the snake. the princess paminas the daughter of the queen of the night just so that she takesHe instantly falls in love with her. The three women tell Tomino that Pomina has been kidnapped by Sarestro. A Tamino high priest swears to rescue Pomina. The Queen of the Night suddenly appears and tells Tomino that if he succeeds, he can marry her. daughter and gives timino a magic flute.
Papageno receives a set of magic bells. Then, three spirits take Tamino and Papageno to the temple where he meets Pamina. Upon finding Pamina, the three run into Surestra, who ends up being a wise old man and tells Tamino that he must complete some tasks if he wants to be worthy of Femina Sarastro, then informs Tomino that the queen of the night is evil and that by kidnapping Pomina he was rescuing her because he knew that she and Tomino were destined to be together. Oh and Papageno because he's just there, I guess they also offer him a wife if he succeeds in the tasks, because why not, by accepting these tasks, the two of them can't speak a word?
Afterwards, the queen appears to Pomina and tries to convince her to kill Sarastro. which she rejects pamina then meets tamino who due to her trial which involves not being able to speak believes that tamino no longer loves her the three spirits appear to pomina and assure her that this is not the case ready to continue with her tests tamino conquers the tests of fire and water with pomina and his magic flute and he succeeds papagino fails his tests but when he rings his magic bells papagina a beautiful woman appears so he is rewarded anyway everyone is happy and the queen of the night is not happy with this she comes to destroy the temple but is defeated in the darkness when the sun rises and everyone lives happily ever after so after that recap of recaps with the help of a classic mpr youtube video that sounds like the mask to you Majora's, I mean, to be honest.
Like I said this was a summary, I'm sure in the finer aspects of the story more parallels can be drawn but the stories are verbatim from a simple summary of the two, they don't line up at all , but again this. The crazy image I found has to hint at something else and even goes into the connection of this game with the Freemasons, so Super Mario 64 is a Masonic initiation, apparently the magic flute has many parallels with this Freemasonry and therefore, Majora's mask has them too, so I think. I'll leave it at that for now I basically went over the entire plot of an opera for a video about the legend of zelda iceberg luckily we're at the end one more to go ocarina of time is intentionally miscoded while I haven't played much of ocarina of time 3d.
This point of the iceberg seems to refer to the fact that many speedrunning glitches were left in the 3ds remake. It is said that the company that was in charge of developing 3DS remakes was Grezzo. Intentionally, whether this was true or not was eventually mentioned in an Iwata Asks interview where Grezzo programmer Sean Maria states that a conflict arose when as programmers we wanted to get rid of bugs, but the staff members playing to old games they said bugs were fun and they said it wouldn't be fun if your friends couldn't say do you know about this?
So we leave them there if they didn't cause any problems and were beneficial. The interview continues, but the fact that there were so many glitches left. by the way it's pretty amazing and I really think it's a good thing as it brings many ocarina of time n64 category speedrunners to a new version to continue their tricks as well as new players whose first experience with ocarina of time will be in the 3DS version and you can possibly learn these tricks and perform them with glitches in the 3DS remake, including the infinite sword glitch, bomb jumps, song cutscenes, endless dive jumps and much more, and that was the legend of zelda, nintendo 64, iceberg after completing the super. mario 64 iceberg I was eager to make another video about a franchise that I really appreciate, but first I felt that making the super mario 64 customization video would be a more coherent follow-up, especially considering how many of you enjoyed the initial video, the comments from the subs . and the likes have been very supportive and I read every comment.
Someone at one point thought they had a robot that liked and gave thumbs up to every comment, but no, that's just me reading them and my way of letting you know yes. So the franchises I'd like to make Iceberg videos about in the future are Super Smash Brothers, since I've been hinting at that since my first video, Star Fox, although I've never looked to see if one exists, but if it does. I'd love to discuss that and Pokemon, whether it's just the first few generations or the franchise as a whole, there seem to be multiple icebergs and as was the case with Zelda's iceberg, some cover specific eras of the series and since I met This was Zelda.
The best thing is that I felt like it would be best to keep my focus on things I'm 100% familiar with anyway. Thank you very much for staying until the end of this video. I know it was long, but from the response I have received. From my other two videos, you guys seem to really enjoy it, so I'm more than happy for you to keep posting. I'm still completely surprised that so many people are enjoying the videos I'm making and it's all very encouraging and makes me feel happy. I'm more excited to continue, so thanks again. See you next time and I hope you have a good day.
