The Different Species, Histories and Hierarchy of the Ars Goetia! Helluva Boss Breakdown & Analysis!

Mar 27, 2024
Today's video is a mega video and a bit of a deep dive into the rsgoisha. It will combine four of my previous videos, although I will also add more information, particularly about the real-life history of the ars galisha, so that even returning viewers will enjoy it. Get something new now in the program, there are two forms of royalty, the first and most important are the seven princes of hell, each of whom rules his own ring. Lucifer is the leader of this group and, as such, he is also the king of all hell. to be the prince of the pride ring and the other princes have more or less total control over their own rings as long as they at least pretend to bow to Lucifer.

The only other prince we have seen is Osmodius, who is not only a prince of the seven rings but is also a king in the ars galicia the ars gawisha is a secondary form of royalty made up of 72 nobles who appear to be subordinate to the seven princes. as well as working for them with that in mind being a king the highest rank in the ars gowesha is not as high a status as being a prince in the seven rings on the show. The only members of the ars gowesha we know so far are, of course, Stolos, his father, Paimon, his brother-in-law, and Drillfist, and of course. osmodius paimon and osmodius are just two of the nine kings, below them are the dukes, then the princes like estolus marquees like fists of andreal and the knights of the count and the presidents that make up the lower ranks stella and fist are brothers, but They look very

Male demon-based peacocks are known for their vibrant green and blue colors to attract females, but the females themselves are usually off-white and plain looking, plus there are seven stacked rings of hell one on top of the other which we also see in Imp City. sign that it is the second circle of hell, this is a reference to dante's divine comedy, where hell is described as having nine circles instead of the seven rings in the program, these circles instead of being stacked one on top of the another are circular territories that I believe are limited to the pride ring.

The first circle of hell has been confirmed to be, of course, the city of the pentagram, which itself lies beneath a giant floating pentagram. The paimons and later Stolos Castle seem to be built to rule the imp city, which leads me to believe. Having each of the nine kings rule a circle in the circle of pride with the dukes, prince marquises and the like helping to govern the territories beneath them, as well as contributing to the broader goals of the gosha, this would explain why much of of the gosha seem to be grouped together. in the ring of pride so far, that being said, osmodius is also the prince of the ring of lust, as explained above, so while he may rule both territories, the circles and ars gosha may not be related.

Osmodius so far is the only overlap between the royalty of the seven. princes and the ars gowisha that we know, however, one of the nine kings who serve alongside paimon and osmodius in the ars gowisha is bael, the same rank, of course, as stols, his father, king paimon, everything goes back to the old testament, where he is. Depicted as a false god in the Levant, Hell of a Boss fans probably also know Beelzebub, known in Peter Binsfield's classification as the Ring Prince of Gluttony, although Moxie refers to him as she, so can be a princess regardless of representations. from beelzebub are actually derived by making them the same entity in some demonologies, although

different

from each other and others that do not know their original connections, although they may be different demons in the program, it is possible that, like osmodius beelzebub, he is a prince of a ring but also a king in ars galisha.
All of these characters are inspired by the real-life writings of the minor key of solomon that describe the ars gawisha and how to summon them and use their powers. The Lesser Key of Solomon itself is dated. It dates back to the 17th century and is inspired by the pseudo-monarchia demonum of a century earlier. These were just two of many grimoires at the time, these grimoires would evolve and change introducing the seals to summon these demons that decorate the castles we see in the show. and can be used by humans to summon demons in the show, as seen in episode 6, when the stoles force some dead agents to perform the ritual in order to make their way to the earth without their grimoire, most of these grimoires did references heavily to previous documents and mythologies.
Going back in time as well, most of these grimoires claim that the original source of this information is King Solomon from the legends that say he used demons to build his temple in 900 BC. C., there is no evidence that he wrote about these particular demons, however, neither is there. There is some mention of him using demons to build his temple in the Bible, which is explained in quite some detail. There the Lesser Key of Solomon and other similar grimoires are attributed to him in the same way that most of the books of the Bible are attributed to a certain author who were not actually written by them, but are used as a kind of call of authority to make it seem more believable, what helped with this was the fact that some of the demons named in the ars gauesha had earlier roots in Abrahamic religions such as modius himself, which is well known from a secondary canonical Jewish text Called the book of tobit which is believed to date back to 200 BC.
C., other demons such as dolas and even paimon, however, do not have as much history behind them with the first mention of both. of them that I could find were these demonic remoise from the last millennium, unlike mentions in the Bible or other texts of that time, baalzab in particular dates back to the old testament, where it is the demonized name of another god worshiped in the Levant originally bael, as I explained earlier in the show, the ars gowisha has been shown to have an almost entirely bird theme, but this is not the case in the real-life Minor Key of Solomon, where they take on a multitude of different forms , all being different from each other, from humans to animals, Stolus is described as an owl wearing a crown in the text that inspires his design in the show and the design of the rest of the Ars Goha became to build it around Stollus in that sense. , and the royal fist is a peacock. based demon which itself is something mentioned in the ars gosha Osmodius, on the other hand, has a more complicated history for its design, osmodius is described in the ars goeisha with three heads, one of a man, a bull and a ram, but nothing about being a bird. as these inspired his design in the show where he has those three heads like three faces outside of that his design is mainly rooster-like, something probably inspired by his later representations in books like inferno dictionary which described him with legs or even just a crow's foot, this has allowed them to maintain the bird theme with great authenticity until now, however, Paimon stole his father, he is not depicted as a demon based on an owl in the minor key of Solomon nor as a bird nowhere else where I could find it.
Mainly depicted as a very pretty man, sometimes riding a camel of course, in the show when we first meet Paimon we see him take on various forms with non-bird animals in the mix before turning into an owl when He talks to stolus about whom he is not sure. his name, but knows him by his

species

and rank, indicating that the many other children he alludes to may be different

species

and at Stolos' party we see them represented mainly as birds, however, like Osmodius, they can have the appearance of a bird but also inspirations, transformations or hidden. aspects that are more similar to their representations in the minor key of Solomon, as well as other demonic texts, all of this being a kind of form given to them by their demonic parents and whatever form they assume at birth and interacting with children like pymon, i imagine other kings perhaps even osmodius take many different forms to populate the lower ranks of the ars gosha leading to the birth of stolus and realfists and others like them, that being said it may be something that paimon in particular is responsible for or just a few kings and since modius may not have children to speak of with royal titles or not, paimon is introduced in the show as the father of stolus, although he is not the father of the stoles in any real life writing about demonology that I have come across, stella is Said to also be a member of ars gawisha, however, she is not any demon described in any demonic text nor is Stella and steals her daughter Octavia and the ars guisha as a whole appears to have a complex family tree that branches out from the 72 roles.
In the real-life text, the show's confirmed Goetic kings, Paimon and Osmodius, seem to have a particular interest in Earth, while Osmodius is happy to rule over its clubs and lust, including stars like Varaska and her group of succubi. They send him to Earth to attract humans and spread sexually transmitted diseases according to a Blitz joke. This is so common that Asmodius has created Osmodian crystals specifically to give his succubus easy access to Earth, while Blitz had to steal an elite's grimoire to start his business. Paimon is also really focused on prophecies and the stars surrounding the earth and using the earth for their own benefit in the pilot stoles he even talks about how he wants divisions to assassinate someone who is trying to convince people that global warming exists , this would lead to less awareness about global warming and less being done about it a harsher climate more reasons to turn to vice and sin as resources become scarcer and eventually more souls in hell after dying Because of this Paimon is said to be the most loyal of the Goetic kings to Lucifer in particular, who himself is very interested in possessing and corrupting God's creation;
Some other mortal princes, such as Satan, may have an interest in Earth and probably influence wars on Earth, but others, such as Mammon, seem more interested in exploiting the local residents of Hell for their own sinful gain. I just want to make as much money as possible, regardless of how it negatively affects the imps and other natives, even in the circle of lazy people we have Belfagor, who according to legend actually rebelled because he simply didn't want to work, so I hesitate that was interested. Working hard to conquer the earth, it appears that this is largely driven by Lucifer and those who follow him, which appears to include the Goetic demons.
Because of this, I believe the kings main goal is to rule the earth itself with some of the ring princes involved in the takeover having dual territories on earth and hell after its completion. However, it is possible that the Goetic demons do not only serve Lucifer and do not seem to serve only to conquer the earth, but rather become involved with the local events of hell. as is also evidenced by the stoles that make rituals to curse the crops at the harvest moon festival, but all of this seems to be done to sustain the population before creating hell on earth as part of its eventual end.
Stullus had to start his work quite early and studied a lot about the earth before coming to it, his main focus according to Paimon was learning about the stars and their prophecies with the grimoire. He has access to the human realm, but only seems to need it once a month for a full moon ritual. I also know that once a year you need it for the aforementioned harvest moon festival and I assume there are some other events in the year that happened off screen that you would need it for or maybe other events that happen only here and there or once.
In a few years, Stolos' job will be to study the stars surrounding the earth and discover the prophecies there when he is not doing the rituals of it. I imagine he spent a lot of his time simply studying the constellations and writing down what they might mean. This reflects reality. -life practice of ancient cultures that try to use the stars to decode the mysteries of life and the universe; In fact, in real life, Ars Gouisia Stolos is described as a demon that you summon to help learn more about the stars and what they mean for the future of our world.
Ars Guisha wants to discover these prophecies, probably to see if they will have succeed in taking over the world and eventually defeating heaven in the battles of apocalyptic myth and legend. In the most recent episode, we see stoles open like a grimoire one morning. some constellations bubble up and he puts it away again, giving up almost immediately, he doesn't seem confused per se, but he apparently doesn't make any more progress than he has in a long time, according to his song in episode 2, it seemed prettyconfident in his star-based predictions, but was caught off guard by an event that seemed to coincide with the birth of his daughter Octavia.
He describes it as an event similar to an eclipse, the sun turns black but in the background we see a star that is not eclipsed but dies. completely after the planets are absorbed into it, regardless of what the event was, it was an astronomical event that Stolus did not see coming and that coincided with the birth of his daughter, who has eyes that shine like a star that Stulis describes as his theft of the The star when it turned black from here stolen seems to have become more confusing in the song, perhaps alluding to the end of hell and even to all of creation, but somehow Octavia is safe from everything, even if Stolis himself It is not sufficiently theorized. in the past i wouldn't be surprised if this apocalyptic event actually requires him to be robbed to give his life but i would maintain that octavia is fine and in the end that's what stolos cares about most, that being said it's not good information to bring back Returning to the kings from the ars gosha or anyone else, all he knows is that his daughter will be safe even if the creation ends, but that hell can completely collapse in the final battles without even having any details about it, it would only frustrate the ars.
Gawisha more and have hate stolen from them for not having answers on how to at least fix it. I think Stolus hasn't been reporting since Octavia was born, he still frustrates her father in the higher ups, but not enough to reveal that Hell may be doomed to fail and take over the Earth with no solid way out for the duration. 18 years old, then Stoles would have been digging himself into a deeper and deeper hole. He fails in his duties while perhaps other Goetic demons thrive. Stolos is a prince, so he has a fairly high rank, but he is not the only one written in the minor key of Solomon who studies astronomy.
Stella's brother, Andre Alphys, also does this. he is just a marquee who is of lower rank than a prince like Stolus. He probably studies other aspects of the stars and their prophecies, but he is not as important as Stolus, while Stolus is lagging behind in injuries. Alphys may see it as a way to get a promotion. taking Stolos' job but with Octavia as a preemptive heir to steal his disposition that could darken very quickly Andreelfis was a character that first appeared in the storyboard trailer for season 2. In the trailer, many fans, including myself , they believed it was epos an ars guisha. demon, a stolus-like prince who can see the future and is described as a goose.
However, we later got concept art for the character with his name revealed to be andrealphus, a marquee on the ars goweesha described as a peacock and revealed to be from stolos. brother-in-law for those who didn't see this, stella mentions it at the end of episode 1 of season 2 as some sort of threat against stolus with the intention that we will see it expanded upon in a future episode of stolus as a The prince is outranked by kings such as Pymon and Osmodius, as well as dukes, although no dukes have appeared on the show so far. Stella's brother Andreelfis is a marquee who is roughly in the middle of the ars gosha, making him important but not as important as the stolos he poses. the question of why stella would mention him as a threat in the conversation. injury, alphys and stella are portrayed as close and a sort of team against the hard life that is goha royalty.
I imagine he is quick to defend his sister. and since she's more or less waiting for opportunities to attack people like a marquee, why would she be such a threat to a prince like stolus? although the first theory I saw floating around was that andrielphus might be in charge of the angelic weapons market and or have his hand in the assassination market, which would require a lot of them, while stella is rich enough to probably just buy some angelic weapons to give them to Stryker as payment, perhaps he needed to go through a connection like his brother, as Moxie indicates that he is quite difficult to get in episode 5.
Other theories include that he simply has a good reputation with other members of the ars gosha and, therefore, Therefore, he is capable of gossiping stolen into oblivion among his own ranks and yet he has already had a big scandal sleeping with an imp like blitz and even divorcing Stella after all this seems to be something that could have dire consequences for him socially. Even though Rob seems certain to survive everything, with more rumors coming that Stella and Drillfist could sabotage Stolos and maybe even catch him. has issues with her father paimon as marquee and stella's brother andri alphys is likely the son of one of the kings or dukes and also the ars gosha, although he may not outrank yet as he may be in a much better position with his own parents than stolos stolus and stella's marriage is arranged so that their parents can be on very good terms and paimon could be very embarrassed by what stolas has been doing with the imps and beyond that house , doles may have been left behind with his other goetic duties, meanwhile andreophis may have done so. less important duties in the ars gosha, but he may be progressing better with them than stolos, plus stolos's scandal of sleeping with an imp and now trying to divorce stella stills might be falling out of favor with the other goatic demons who might be happy of promoting andrea fist to the position of stollus if it wasn't something he would have unfortunately inherited if something happened to stolus however the ninjurialfist could be seen as a reasonable demon to ascend to the duties of stolus and take charge of things like the ritual of a full moon which is required stolls for when she doesn't make her interpretations of the prophecies, if Stella is able to get her hands on angelic weapons and an assassin like Striker, I don't imagine she would be out of Andrea Alphes' reach, especially if the theories are true and he He has his hands. involved in those markets over time there could be so many assassins looking for estolos that he could never be safe in any ring of hell, even with blitz and the others protecting him while estolis has proven he can handle any old assassin that comes to attack.
With a normal weapon, he would have a hard time stopping more assassins like Stryker who chase him wherever he goes or anywhere he tries to hide. The problem with this theory is that Octavia is the heir apparent, as Paimon so clearly said, destined to take over. control. the throne, if something were to happen to stolus, i had previously theorized that this would not be a permanent surrender as the robber could perhaps be reborn again and be raised to take on his role, but that is just a theory from one of my previous videos , for now Octavia does.
She does not have the experience to take the throne and therefore Andrea Fisk could temporarily take control if something bad were to happen to Stollus. That being said, he may see Octavia as a threat to his power either way, someone who would simply assume his role at some point. The moment she came to the position as such, his best option is to hire an assassin to eliminate Octavia as well. . Now it's been indicated that Andrey Alphys and Stella are close and it may be hard to imagine him wanting to murder his own niece, but after seeing how Stella is without a doubt evil.
I don't think it's out of the question that he is even more so, so Stella may have a backstory where we learn the nuances of her trauma, but until then she is what she says, someone who loves to torment Stolis Stulls . She knows this so well that she believes she wasn't even hurt by sleeping with an imp and instead she's just using it as another reason to attack him. This would mean that her murdering him may even be something she started working on before she found out. Stolos's infidelity and instead she may have been thinking about it for some time, this may have been the event that made her pull the trigger, so to speak, and hire Stryker.
It seems that Stryker himself is less interested in getting paid and instead he wanted access to angelic weapons. He could get it while Stella was the one who paid him for the job. He points out that his targets are much bigger than just these and killing him is just a bonus besides getting the weapons he says he wants to use on more demons. royalty there is no reason why he should think it wrong to go after Octavia, she is just another Goetic demon and if not him, Andreofis could have access to any number of assassins and other criminals in his ranks who could also do the job. a big betrayal to stella and maybe one that will give her some sense about all the crazy trouble she's causing by trying to murder her own daughter's father when i first presented this idea i thought i'd show myself in drealfus as the bad guy and Stella getting a chance to make things right was the only way to make it seem believable, but the general response in the comments was that most of you think Stella would have killed Octavia just to get revenge on Stolos, regardless of whether anyone like Stryker was after Octavia.
It would certainly raise the stakes as high as possible, especially if Octavian's fate is somehow connected to an apocalyptic prophecy as mentioned above, but what do you guys think? Did you enjoy this mega video if you even made it this far and would you? Would you like to see more of them? I was thinking about combining my videos on the history of Lucifer and Satan into one mega video that would have a lot of real life history added to it.
