THE ALPHABET MAKEUP CHALLENGE!

Feb 27, 2020
Hey guys, it's me, Nikki. Hello, I just want to let you know that before I start making this video, if my sound levels go up and down throughout this video it is because I currently have two ear infections, one two, I infected this one as well. I'm just waiting to wake up tomorrow and find out what my next infection is going to be, Bobi, and yes, my ears are totally blocked. Literally for the last four days I've been hearing a demonic side of me on my left side and I'm hearing the pulse of my heartbeat on the right side of my ear so on the left it's cool and on the right it's like doing it.

Life has been a party here, but anyway today I'm here to do a new

challenge

that I'm very excited about. Gosh, I love a good

challenge

, you know me, so Eva commented, please do your

makeup

in

alphabet

ical order, bronzer, blush, contour, etc, etc, and I thought that sounds like a really fun challenge, Ava, that's it what I said until I put everything in my notes. I was like, oh, okay, that means introduction, it's my first step, it's my next to last step in

alphabet

ical order mm-hmm, so yeah, challenge accepted, Ava and as always, my goal is to make it look good , presentable and fun to do it.

More Interesting Facts About,

the alphabet makeup challenge...

In fact, post it on Instagram and have content there, but who knows where it's going to go if you want to see how it turns out, keep watching, so when we look at my

makeup

routine, the first thing I always do is prep, not too much. It's a crime but today foundation is next to last after that I would do it I can see the concealer starts with the sea and I thought oh girl we can start today with the concealer I guess not because you know what It comes before concealer B, the blush. I also said in the intro I want this look to be a success so I will do my best to make this look good in the end and now one thing we need to do is work with the system so if we are starting with blush it has to be cream blush, so blush, so I have two Fenty Beauty Match sticks here, one in chili mango and one in Yacht Life, and I feel like they're both really bright, really fun, they've got a little bit of shimmer too.

That's always fun and I think a mix of the two would be great because they're bright enough to peak at the end. It's just nice to write this on the brush and then put it on my fish. OMG that looks like a sunburn, it definitely looks like I just heard about sex for the first time in my life. Yeah, also starting with the bee in my makeup routine is the bronzer, we got to work with the system bronzer, which is a moist creamy bronzer, okay? never use creamy bronzer I'm just not that girl you know there are so many gurus that are coming in with that Chanel ooh, the Chanel, the poof of the universal and not me, but today we're using this, it's a sheer cameo contour bronzer. double ended foundation, light bronzer, oh my gosh, that completely fell off, okay, tan, explore.

I usually like it here, look how warm it is, that could never be a contour for me. I'm going to start looking better at the skin now again. I'm just trying to use the philosophy that if I put on a lot right now, enough will peak eventually once I start with my foundation, oh oh, the next step is to let me see my list of concealers, you know what am. saying until my second, have you seen the video with Tati and Scott Barnes makeup artist Jayla? He did concealer before everything else we can act like the bronzer isn't there and we're just following Scott Barnes and Tati so I'm going to use Urban Decay night concealer because that's what he used and if he uses it on Tati and JLo, I'm using it, I think one of the most fascinating things about this challenge will be that it kind of breaks your routine.
We all fall into this routine a little bit, but I feel like this challenge will show you if certain routines can change a little. This is not so bad. Am I saving myself for that? Oh, usually I would never choose Urban Decay. all night like that quickly of course I try it today because I saw Scott Barnes use it but usually this is very very dry and matte for me and usually in my usual routine it's Matt for my face , but today, when I am. I'm actually still not using powder when I'm not using a primer, this could be very helpful because my under eyes look matte, like Matt can be after concealer, it's time to contour and because my whole face is still wet and I'm praying to the makeup gods that my eyes don't crease even though I used a very matte concealer.
I want to use a powder contour now to set some parts of the face. I'm coming. Paired with Mac's Harmony blush, this is the perfect shimmer shade for contouring, but it also has a bit of warmth for bronzer, so this is what I'm using. I feel like this is the perfect middle ground, so I'm just going to dot that, that's powerful, okay, I just need a little bit. I'm just going to set the very wet section of the concealer and bronzer with this now, please don't ruin my concealer too much with all this brush movement, it's not bad, see how.
It's messing up my concealer a little bit mmm, I can't wait to set it because it's starting to crease a little bit and I'm also going to slightly contour my nose, not too much, because it's all very wet, so I'm being very cautious with my nose, moving forward, okay, next we're going to get into Section I, so all the eye shadows, lashes, eyebrows, they all start with eye. Now the important part is what comes after the e of the eye, so after I comes to the eyebrows, now the eyebrow pencil and the eyebrow gel are the same, but when you take G and P, G is what first, so we start with the eyebrow gel.
Brilliant. I've been using Tanja Crooks brow gel and I feel like I use this for something like that. dye my eyebrow hair. I don't mind doing this first because I love this stuff, and next is the eyebrow pencil, so let me do those little measurements, do that, ah, that was a tough bus. The next step is to move towards the I her, her, her, so of course we have an eyeshadow base, eyeliner, eyelashes and of all that punch, the first one is the eyelashes. Now this is a challenge in itself because I have no idea what kind of look I'm doing.
I don't know what kind of lashes I want, so the first step will be this because it seems doable with many looks. This right here is the beauty of doll eyelashes and the boonie look, oh my gosh, you know what? It literally sucks is that no matter what kind of pretty look I'm going to do after this, the shadow will fall on the lashes, it will create a powdery mess on top of my lashes, okay, I don't remember what's next, please let me. It can be Praha eyeshadow or eyeliner and then after that foundation, pretty much all of the eyeliner I'm about to do will be wiped off with the foundation anyway, this just reminds me that the number one reason I never I would wear eyelash extensions it's because it's It's very hard to do like your eyeliner and your shadows because all those lashes are in your way, don't think I'm going to improvise because I feel like maybe I'm a baby wing, oh right, of course , the baby wing is that one. connected, I can't see, so I literally don't even know if I can still save this skin, but let's go with Optimus Prime.
I'm going to use the P Lewis foundation on point five, oh, now I can sculpt my eyebrows. I'm just going to cover my eyebrows in the right quarters and then try to get it right, so what's happening is because of these long highlights. At the end I'm brushing P Louise's face, oh my God, I hope it's good if I have this exotic pale peacock for pinky pink and I'm thinking that this bright purple ass here is the mood that's lifting her up and I'm putting her in the fold and I'm just stamping it like with all my looks.
I'm stamping the color first to get. the pigmentation and to get the shape and then as soon as it's got the shape and the color that we like, we can focus on blending, okay, then on another brush, I'm going to take the same purple and blend the top outer edge. Very gently we are going to try to make this a success like I said in the introduction, so I won't give up even though I'm very close to it if I look at that inner corner tab, but I won't give up right now. I started with a bluer purple shade and just left this closer to these, surprisingly they're still lighter, so on the lid let's do something punchy and fun, let's take this bright mint color called damn Gina, so I'll just match my other one.
Look off camera to save some time and I'll be right back ok I have to be honest I do NOT hate this so far it looks good from a distance then when you look up close it's like Oil City my face is literally like it Are you going to prepare me so that the next step is the base? What happens if I make a powder foundation? I stick to the rules of the base, it is for the base. Today I'm taking Nonna's Natasha matte foundation pour vanishing match transfer and I'm using the color v and just oh my gosh okay so I have to work around the bronzer in the contour because it would be a shame to lose the color on my face now same because this is the only part where I can really apply color to my face and I'm going in with the smallest amount little by little because I don't want to overdo it right now because what I'm looking at right now and I don't want to kill it after foundation F fer.
It's highlighter time H. I'm really excited to put some highlighter on this dewy skin and the highlighter I'm using is this affordable one from Catrice. It's called Light Infusion Baked Highlighting Powder. You should definitely do this more often. highlighting a dewy foundation, a concealer, E skin is a dream because it's like a magnet, it could be like using P Louise foundation on your lid and then putting shadow on top, it's putting a dry product on top of something wet, you'll just like it kill. and then I also have this palette from Natasha, no, not for highlighting, and it looks like a little highlight with a little pop of color to make it look a little more like a blush.
The next step in the line is the L and we are there. I go to the lip department so that the lips are the same. First is the glitter, then the pencil, then the pencil. I hate that order. I love a good bright mouthful, so I'm going to cook this. Now it's time for the pencil. I'm using this one from Marc Jacobs in the color cream and sugar lining, anything you have a thick layer of glitter on is really not ideal because you have no control, it's the same as driving with a lot of snow on the road.
So let's go well with the lipstick. I'm going to use this lipstick from Nabla Cosmetics. It looks like the Chloe lipstick is a little bit darker and on top of the gloss and the pencil next in line is M for mascara, um, I have to do it. finally go remove the highlight on the eyelashes oh yes that's much better. The next step is finally time for and today I really desperately want to fix my face finally with the dragon Beauty Dragon Heart Transformation Face oh my god yes yes I'm so ready for this moment oh yes oh my god my face love dust so much oh this is so cute oh this is oh this is heavenly oh my god this is it I love dust so much I can't live in a world without dust you know what?
The real challenge would be if you made a dust-free faucet. Oh my gosh, I'm giving you ideas. It's time to apply the primer, yeah, so it's time to start with my current favorite primer, the Coverfx Grip Primer, well, here goes nothing, I'm just going to put that on and prime it, oh oh oh, what, oh, that it's not bad at all. Well, maybe it's time. for the final step, the s4 setting spray, we finally get there, okay, so like I've been saying throughout this video from afar, this look is spectacular, but especially now, after the primer, after the setting spray , when you look closely, I'm a cakey. poured mess look at that layer of pancake on my face the whole section of my face is literally on top of it look at that I look sweaty Looks like I've been working out with this makeup look at all the pores, the only thing that's really Although it appears, hello, I shade like we're not complaining about you, honey, and there we have it guys, this is what my face looks like after putting on my makeup in alphabetical order.
