TENET Pitch Meeting

May 30, 2021
so you have a movie for me, yes sir, I do, it's called Tenet, okay, so we'll follow this guy, the protagonist and what's his name, I just told him, oh, and he's going to be part of this operation in a opera house, and there are some weird things happen like he's saved by what appears to be a bullet in reverse, oh, interesting, and then he gets tortured by some bad guys and takes a pill to commit suicide, oh okay, I mean a very short film, but still very enjoyable, no, that's us. We're still going to move forward, or even better, yes.
tenet pitch meeting
It turns out that being willing to take that pill was a test and he's being recruited into this organization called Tenet, that's the name of the movie, so he's going to talk to this guy for a while. sure, sure, and then he'll go talk to the scientist for a moment and what will she tell him. Well, she'll tell you about this thing called investing. Okay, and when things are reversed, they move backward in time instead of forward because they have inverse entropy oh things that sound scientific that I don't quite understand are strict, so the protagonist can catch an inverted bullet that it's lodged in something using his gun, stuff like that, oh wow, yeah, that sounds cool, of course, no, yeah, okay, and he can also like catch an inverted bullet with his hand off a table, but like the scientist explains, he must have dropped it, like if you look at the tape, he is always the cause of it moving, whether it's forward or backward, you know that, of course, yeah, okay, yeah, you get it, yeah.

More Interesting Facts About,

tenet pitch meeting...

Yeah, no, I'm just understanding this, but okay, let's have that scientist literally say don't try to understand it, just feel it so you can go down that path if you want, okay? I mean, I'd like to understand it so I can follow what's going on, but yeah, no, I'm getting there anyway, so she reveals that these inverted objects are still being sent back from the future, okay, and she thinks that maybe these are them. like remnants of a future war and that the world could end, but like in the past, okay, so why did you continue that sentence in a completely different place?
tenet pitch meeting
Oh, sometimes we'll do that thing where a single conversation spreads to different places. just to keep things dynamic on the screen, you know well, I mean, that looks good, but that means that the characters talk and then pause their conversation, change locations and then continue talking, that makes exposition scenes a little more fun to watch, you know? So, what are you doing? I'm going to call an Uber to the office so I can finish that thought. Okay, okay, he'll be here in seven minutes. Wow, seven minutes. Okay, so the protagonist has to go talk to this other guy. guy neil oh now he's going to go talk to someone else okay yeah and after that he has to go talk to this other guy okay we've been going person to person a lot and talking so far yeah but Here's the thing, this time it turns out that it was like that.
tenet pitch meeting
Actually, it wasn't a guy he was supposed to go see, it turns out it was this lady, oh okay, yeah, no, that's a pretty good twist I guess, okay, so he's finally with the lady you need to talk to. He is, yes, and she is an arm. amazing dealer okay, so what do you discover about her? Oh you're going to like this, he finds out he's going to have to go talk to another guy, okay, and this guy tells them all about having to go talk to another guy, oh my gosh, but To get to that guy, first You'll have to talk to this lady.
What's going on? Oh, don't worry, now this lady is one of the main characters, so we're on the right track. Well, thank goodness, who is this lady? Well, her name is Gato and she is married to a Russian oligarch named Sador and she hates this guy. Oh, how is he really controlling her because she sold him a forged painting? So now he says, well, you can't see our son. Very rude, yes, extremely. Well, now I know a little about this cat lady, tell me more about this protagonist, what is his backstory, tell me about him, no, well, what is it, what is the artistic past of his character, well, what is he like, what It's his emotional interest in the story, well, not him.
I don't want the world to end, it's understandable, but emotionally okay, he lives in the world so you know he doesn't want it to end well, he also seems very interested in this cat lady, like he really wants to protect her, he seems to have some sort of thing. of the bond with her, oh okay, tell me more about that, no, look, it's just that I really want the concept of the movie and the action scenes to have a lot of room to breathe, so we're not going to waste time on things like characters and things, okay, I mean, it's going to be a little hard for me to care about the story if you don't give me anything in that department, but it's going to look really cool, oh, it's going to be really cool, okay, I didn't realize , okay never mind. character then okay, so now let Cat lead the protagonist to her evil husband, she has to destroy this painting, okay, okay, so what's the plan?
Well, this thing is in this super protected vault, so the plan is wait, let me set the mood here. turn that down, can you turn that down please, oh yeah, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, that was the music too loud, yeah, that's really good music, sure, that's fine, but I couldn't hear what you were saying, it won't be like that in the film. It is, yes, because it is very good music. You know it's going to increase the tension. I can't hear the conversation, but it's good music. Then the protagonist will have this fight scene where he will fight a guy who moves in reverse.
It's going to be crazy, oh yeah, no, that sounds great and then we'll finally meet this Russian oligarch and find out what his evil plan is. So what's his plan? Well, in the future scientists developed this algorithm that could invert the world because everyone is angry in the future about global warming like we destroy the planet, and she divided this algorithm into nine parts and hid them in the past because they would pretty much end up with the past and so on. maybe the future too, so the bad guy is putting together this exact algorithm and he's actually dying, so he could take the whole world with me when he gets out, so he has the same motivation as a child.
Flip a monopoly board because you're practically losing, yeah, so we're going to have this awesome car chase scene where some of the cars move backwards in time. It's going to be crazy, wow, and then that cat lady will get reverse shot. husband and the protagonist is going to risk the whole world to save her kind of risky, but okay, then they'll reverse themselves and start going back in time and such and such, how does that work? Oh, there are some very interesting things happening. For example, the flow of oxygen goes in the opposite direction in this direction, so they need their own oxygen.
Basically, everything is upside down, like explosions, which cool things down. Does that mean that people's light receptors and eyes start emitting light? Do people have flashlight eyes? No, I mean, please don't Don't think too much about this, how do inverted people poop? Does it rise well? Anyway, they will travel back in time and we will discover that the protagonist was actually fighting himself, but in reverse, oh, very trippy, yes. so they need to stop the bad guy from wiping out the whole world, so they team up with these time traveling army guys who just come out of nowhere.
Oh and they go on this damn mission where one team goes forward through time shooting people and then another team waits a while and then goes back in time through the same fight and then who are they shooting? exactly? Uh, oh no, so we won't really see who they're shooting at. Really, they're just nice. of gunshots, I'm not sure what's going on and there's like a dead body when they get there, but then the thing suddenly appears and takes a bullet to save the protagonist. It's going to be crazy, please turn that down, okay, let me turn it off.
Anyway, it turns out that Neil actually sacrifices himself to save the protagonist. Well, now I think he was entertaining, but so did what just happened. Well, Neil is going to explain that Tenet was actually founded by the protagonist and that it has a future in the past. So Neil waited with one of the teams until after the battle and then moved through it sort of reversed back in time, but then he saw that the protagonist was in trouble, so he reversed himself again and then he saved him with a right-wing Humvee, but after that he has a little chat with the protagonist and then he has to reinvest himself to take that bullet and save the protagonist's life, okay, yeah, yeah, okay, and then the protagonist he'll keep moving forward in time but then because the reversal is that he's actually the one who founded

tenet

at a certain point, we're not sure when and he's the one who recruited Neal, sure, yeah, okay, okay, you understand , do you understand?
It's a bit complicated, I feel like maybe that's how it is. It will be difficult for the general audience to understand what is going on, in fact, it will barely be an inconvenience, super easy, oh really, yes, because you will find that it will be so confusing and difficult to listen to that people will want to go see it for a couple of times. It's going to work, it might seem a little risky, I mean, sometimes you have to take risks, right, it's not like the future of cinema depends on how this movie develops, I guess not.
