In this video I am going to use the ICA training system. This is a great system for setting up exercises quickly. It's also great for learning about the tangent line. Simply draw a line from the cue ball to the object ball and immediately see the tangent line, it also tells you the exact angle the cue ball is with respect to the object ball and as you move the object ball around the tangent line and the angle is updated in real time, the next YouTube video will help you perform bagging exercises using this system. Be sure to subscribe so you don't miss out and all of the exercises I used in this

banking

video can be downloaded for free if you have the ICA Training Systems in this first part we'll quickly go over how all the diamonds connect. each other when using this system, any pocket that has run through

your

bank will not become 0 and the diamond next to this pack will be 10, the next diamond will be 20, then 30, 40 and at 80, the diamonds in the opposite lane They will be numbered exactly the same. and that's all you need to remember, let's say the cue ball is here, buy this diamond which we know is 20, so how do we shoot to the opposite side to send the cue ball to zero?

If we draw a line from 20 to 10, we can see. that the cue ball is directly on this line, which means that all we have to do is shoot towards 10 and the cue ball will head to the corner pocket, so now if we place a cue ball on this path, we can shoot towards 10 over and over again. with this same result now if we have two balls on this path we can shoot the object ball towards ten and send it to the corner pocket now the cue ball is on path 4020, which means that if we shoot towards 20 the cue ball must go towards the corner pocket and when you try this shot on some tables the banker may come up short using only the high center, for example on this diamond table the banker comes up short of the corner pocket when it comes out, you should be only with high center, so when this happens, I have two good options: the first option is to aim to the left of

your

target and this tends to work extremely well now, when I bank a ball, I can aim the object ball right to the left of the target or you can use a small turn to the left. to send the cue ball into the corner pocket, even if your table has a shorter game, you can still use targets along the side rail as a reference point and then make slight adjustments depending on your table, so that When I place a ball on this path I will use low right on the cue ball, which will transfer the left spin to the object ball sending it into the corner pocket.

Once you become familiar with these paths it will also help you in your shots and your benches, now it looks like the ball is on the 60./30 path and while we are talking about the ball being on a path, the path is created by starting from diamonds: diamonds, not the cushions in front of the diamond, so no matter where the ball is on the path, you can still use your target as a reference point. Now the cue ball is on the 80/40 path, so we are going to shoot towards 40 to send the cue ball to zero and when we shoot the ball towards 40, we will aim towards the back of the side pocket so that the cue ball hits the band right next to the pocket once again, once you become familiar with these paths, your pie shots will be much more accurate now that the cue ball is on the 3015 trajectory, so if we aim for 15, the cue ball you should head towards the corner pocket and When you attempted this shot, it may be helpful at first to place a piece of chalk between the first and second diamond to represent 15 and remember to make any necessary adjustments when practicing these drills if your table is short now. that the cue ball is on the 5025th path, so let's aim the cue ball between the second and third diamond on the opposite side railing once again, you may want to place a piece of chalk on the railing to represent 25 , this time the cue ball is on pass seventy-thirty-five.

I'll place a piece of chalk halfway between thirty and forty since by way seventy thirty-five the angle is starting to widen so you may not need as much English on the cue ball at this table. I could shoot this shot just high center now that the ball is between diamonds and when this happens I'll show you how to find which way the ball is on since the first time is 10 and the second diamond is 20 so 15 will be between both diamonds and this is how the numbers are broken down between the diamonds, so now if we look at the position of the cue ball, it looks like it is on the path 18 9, so if we point the ball towards 9, it should be heading towards the corner pocket.

In this example, the cue ball is between the fifth and sixth diamonds and an An easy way to find the path the cue ball is on is to place the pool cue on a nearby path that you know goes to zero. In this case, we will place a pool cue on pass 5025, the cue ball is not on this one. path so we are going to slide the cue to another path that goes to path 0-2 54:27 and now we can see that the ball is directly under the pool cue so this is the correct path shooting towards 27 we will send the ball into the corner pocket when both the cue ball and the object ball are on the same path, it gets caught in a natural bank later in part 2.
I'll show you what to do when the cue ball is not on the same path as the object ball This trick of using our pool cue to find the correct path for the object ball will work no matter where the ball is on the table, in this example the ball is in the middle of the table, so the first thing we will do is place a pool cue on a nearby path that we know is going to 0 70 35 and now we can see that the ball is close to being on this path, so we'll slide the cue a little bit 268 34 and now I can see that this won't work for send the ball to zero.
In this exercise we are going to place four balls on the table and the objective is to find a path in which each ball is located. Once we find the path, we'll go ahead and put it in the corner pocket, so I'll use my pool cue to find the path that the first ball is on. It's not on the path twenty ten, so I'm going to move the cue to another path that I know goes to zero, which in this case is sixteen eight and one ball is directly on this path, the two balls are not on the path thirty fifteen or path 2010, so it's somewhere in between and now those seconds into path 26:13 the next ball is between 40 20 and 30 15, so I'm going to move the cue until I find a path where it's and It looks like it's at 3417, the last ball is just out of the way 40:20, so I'll keep moving.
My acoustic goes through different paths until I find the right one and it looks like the ball is on pass 4422, as we mentioned before any packet we are aiming the ball at becomes zero, so in this example we are going to aim the cue ball . towards the side pocket, so now it becomes zero and the diamonds increased by ten from there, knowing this, now we can see that the cue ball is on the path twenty ten pointing towards ten, we will send the cue ball towards the pocket side, remember if your board game is short you should aim to the right of the diamond or you can use a right spin touch for these shots.
I'm using only a small amount of right spin, so when I shoot this combination I'll use Left Spin on both balls, which will transfer a little bit of right spin to the object ball. Now that we are on path 3015, once you can begin to visualize these paths, you are putting, benching should improve dramatically once again when benching this ball. I'm going to use a little left spin on the two balls to transfer a right spin to the object ball. This system also works for keeping balls outside the nrel as we will keep balls in this pocket then this pocket becomes zero and these diamonds. are 10 20 30 and 40 and the diamonds on the opposite side have exactly the same name so now we can see that the cue ball is on the path 40 20 and when you first tried to shoot the cue ball towards 20 and see where it ends up above and my table is missing about half a diamond since I know it's short.
I'll just aim slightly to the left of 20 and the cue ball should head towards the pocket. It's always a good idea to quickly check the table before a league. Or tournament man, can I go over some passes around the table like this pass here where you're shooting 40 to 20 and see what adjustments you'll need to make now as I hit the balls into the corner? I have a goal. on the inside rail I can use so I no longer have to guess now that the cue ball is on the pass twenty ten at most tables, even tables that play short, shoot the cue ball along the way natural should work to pocket the ball at this angle.
Someone deposits the balls first find the natural path that the object ball is on, this now gives you a reference point on the rail to use as a target, now make the necessary adjustments to pocket the ball, so in this situation, first find the angle a ball is at, what is the last 30 15 since the table plays a little short at this angle instead of pointing towards 15. I'm going to aim the object ball by setting it to the left of 15 on the part 2. I'll go through the side rails and rail benches and also show you what adjustments you need to make when the cue ball is inside or outside the natural path you're passing through.
