Super Soup: Great for Immune system, Blood Pressure and Diabetes

May 02, 2020
I, uh, okay, I was talking for about five full minutes to realize that my camera wasn't on. Oh

great

, so I start with a pot of water which I normally take as spring water and a gallon because you want your

soup

to be as healthy as possible, I already put it here, sorry I forgot to show you so this is roughly a gallon of natural spring water that I bought at the

super

market. I have my stove on medium high heat, you can make your chicken broth semi from scratch, which means you can go buy chicken broth.
super soup great for immune system blood pressure and diabetes
You know, I tend to buy this kind if I'm not making it from scratch and if you notice that it's low in sodium because we don't want anything that has a ton of sodium in it because we're going to put our own salt in it, we have to put a good salt in it so you know not to. we want someone else's type of salt, so if you start with a chicken broth, that's already made, I would suggest buying something like this and I bought it at the

super

market, a normal supermarket, so there are no health food stores here, so that you can't find this in the normal supermarket, and if you have hypertension, high

blood

pressure

, I would definitely buy low sodium stuff because you're going to put your own solid in things, so you're going to put the Wright's in it, so I'm starting with the pot of water, this is about half a bag of lean water. almost a whole gallon I pour in there, so I have a little bit of chicken in here.

More Interesting Facts About,

super soup great for immune system blood pressure and diabetes...

I have chicken thighs, so it's like the thigh and the leg together. You can use a whole chicken if you want or whatever. I'll just make sure you get a chicken. that doesn't have hormones or antibiotics or anything like that because once you start putting me in water and making a

soup

with it and it's full of hormones, it's all going to be in your soup and just in your body and we don't want that because the body is a temple, okay? So I already washed my chicken, so if you have any type of meat, as long as it's not ground, you should wash it because my next door neighbor and I did this. when my mom started teaching me how to cook anyway, so I did this when she started teaching me how to cook when I was 11 or 12, so I always washed, you know, chicken ribs, whatever, as long as I didn't is ground. meat, I would wash it, so now I'm going to add my salt here, this is a Celtic sea salt.

I'm just going to put a little bit in because I wanted to start getting the flavors of the chicken and stuff so I'm just going to take that for now and remember this salt is full of all the minerals that the body needs and this is

great

for your

blood

pressure

because High blood pressure is actually a lack of minerals so see your lack of calcium, potassium, magnesium, manganese. things like that and all those types of minerals are in this salt, this particular type of salt, so now I'm going to do something that's a little strange to people.
super soup great for immune system blood pressure and diabetes
I'll probably add about a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and the reason why is because I want this vent anything acidic you could use lemons with lemon it seems to change the flavor of things for me when you squeeze it into soup or mayonnaise or something like that and I make it raw, I make my own mayonnaise which will be another video I'm going to make it, but I really think you know I like it better because it doesn't have a weird taste. I think after the chicken cooks for a while, it boils down, so I'm going to put a little bit of apple cider vinegar in here and the reason is because I want the acidity of the vinegar to leach the minerals out of the chicken, so you should always start with an organic chicken, any type of meat, making sure it's organic. normal, no hormones, nitrates, things like that, so start that way, you know, since it's gone from your body, you want it to be as healthy as possible, so I'm going to let this cook until the meat is practically cooked, you know, and then I'll take it out.
I take it out and separate it at the end. I start adding my vegetables, so it takes me a while to do it in stages, so this is stage one, so I'll cook the chicken for probably about an hour in this pot of water. to make sure it's completely ready, so stay tuned and I'll come back and show you the next step. Thanks, okay the chickens have been cooking for about an hour and there's no water in here so what I'm going to do now is just remove all the chicken from the pot and put it in a bowl.
Set it aside because I'm going to break it up later. I'm not going to make all this chicken because I think it's too much meat for the soup, but I probably will. like one or two of these, not all three, there's like three quarters of a leg here, so yeah, as you can see, the chicken is ready, it looks a little simple, but we'll fix it with some seasonings, so now I'm going to add seasonings. and stay tuned so if you need to add more water to the boil type after cooking the chicken just add a little more water or you can add some chicken broth if you have it now would be the perfect time for that but don't use chicken broth and make your broth completely from scratch like I do you can just add a little more water okay so you need to start adding my seasonings now here I have garlic powder this is the dehydrated garlic that I use all the time.
I'm probably going to use about three small tablespoons of this here and I'm also going to use some granulated garlic and the reason I'm using so much garlic is because garlic is great for colds and flu, like I said in another video, it's antiviral, antibacterial and also because of Alison and garlic, which is a component found in onions and things like that, it's very good, it's very good for blood pressure, so it's good for lowering blood pressure. I'm going to add a little more salt, Celtic sea salt because of the minerals in it, and I'm going to add a little bit of black pepper.
Now I'm going to talk a lot about black pepper because, you know, I would say a lot because I like it. black pepper flavor Yes, I like the taste of it, I like the taste, but this also helps with blood pressure because because of the spices and the pepper, buy any pepper like this here, this is a scotch pepper and I hope. You guys can see it because my lighting isn't that good, these little suckers are really hot and they're amazing for blood pressure like cayenne pepper because what it does is it opens up the arteries and lets the blood flow. the blood flows much more smoothly and therefore lowers blood pressure, not lowers blood pressure, so I'll add this at the end.
I usually add the whole peppers last because I have to taste the soup mix, it's not too spicy so yeah, let's do that, black pepper for now, salt, garlic, I'm also going to add, start adding a little parsley. I have dried parsley leaves here, I ran out of dehydrated ones. that my mom uses makes for me because I go through processes like crazy I put hamburger meat and everything so I don't use hamburger meat I use turkey meat for hamburgers but that's another video so let's add a little parsley here I'm going to stick the parsley, which means I'm not going to just grab handfuls and put it in because actually, if you use too much parsley, it can make things taste a little bit bitter, so I don't want it to get too much. bitter, so for now I'm just going to put in a couple pinches of parsley and let's see, I'm going to use a little bit of pepper.
Sorry, all-purpose seasoning, salt. I bought this at the health food store. It doesn't have any anti-caking agent or anything, it's just sea salt, it's just sea salt, paprika, celery seed, oregano and a few other things, so I'm just going to add a little bit of this because I already have salt. I already added the broth but I wanted to make sure it doesn't taste watery so add that next I'm going to start adding my vegetables like potatoes, game and carrots because they take a while. a little bit more time to cook, so stay tuned, okay, while I have my mom's broth still simmering, I'm going to start chopping my vegetables.
I have a red onion here, your red onions. I have about six or seven small red potatoes. They're also called pink potatoes and I have a yam here so I'm cutting up one of them so what I did was I washed my potatoes because you know guys if you go to the store and you're picking up produce. and meat and stuff, especially produce that's been on display where everyone's rummaging around and you know they're looking for what they want and whatever everyone's been sneezing coughing, take this in your hands or whatever, make sure you wash your produce. when you get them. at home and before you cook it and eat it and you know, wash, wash what you can, wash your food and I got criticized for that in one of my videos, the chicken in the kitchen sink, and once I was being snobby because I washed the chicken and I'm thinking not everyone washes their chicken.
I don't know why that would be snobbish, but you know, I'm, this is what I do, this is what my mother taught me. when she was teaching me how to cook, so I just passed it by. I feel like if you can, if you can limit, I'm getting sick from getting germs like that, so why not do it? You know, and if you can wash away some of the solution that's in foods like meats and stuff, why not do that? I mean, try to make your food as healthy as possible. There's nothing snobbish about that size.
You know, that was strange. Don't know. That being said, please wash your food. It's a little bit healthier and as you know, I like these in small pieces. I have something with that. I don't like really big pieces of food so I'm just going to cut all my vegetables here into small pieces and then add them to the soup because you know they're potatoes, they're going to take a while to cook and I'm also going to add my carrots and stuff so again I already washed my potatoes, so I'm just going to go over them and just you know, cut them into small pieces see what I like.
I like this size and I'm going to put them in the soup, so I want to talk about potatoes for a minute. Potatoes are a great healthy food, especially if they are organic. potatoes and these are organic potatoes so no pesticides or anything that's what they say but you know like I said before how are you going to know that you know but you have to trust what they say unless you grow them yourself and I'm going to put a place where I can't grow things in my backyard, so since it's too small, the potatoes are very good, very high quality, quite a few vitamins, especially vitamin B b6 excellent, you know, they contain a lot of vitamin b6 , have a high content. vitamin C also vitamin A, especially sweet potatoes, especially if you leave the skin high in vitamin C, vitamin A and vitamin b6, which you know, contrary to popular belief, for those of you who have type 2

diabetes

, sweet potatoes are very good for that.
Now I wouldn't diet with just our sweet potatoes because, again, it's still starch, especially this one, the inside of the potato is still starch, most of the vitamins and minerals are in the skin where the potato is. Starch and fiber are great for you, natural fiber, so like I said, if you have type 2

diabetes

, I was still sticking, stick your readings and make sure you don't have too much sugar in your

system

before you start eating the potatoes, that is if. They are real sweet potatoes or any other type of potato, but potatoes are very good for type 2 diabetes again.
I'm not doctor. This, so go out and do your own research. Don't take what I tell you, you know, so get out. do your own research because this is your health, you know, you should know what helps work for you, but again, they are very rich in vitamin C, vitamin A, vitamin b6 and they are loaded with potassium. Potassium is exactly what you need when I have hypertension, we have high blood pressure, you need potassium, calcium, magnesium, all that, manganese and some other things, so some other minerals, definitely, and I don't like the look of it, so I'm going to take it off.
I have a The thing is that the food doesn't look perfect, so yeah, definitely, if you can get potatoes and you're sick on your diet, it's a great way to get plenty of minerals and some vitamins, but make sure you leave the skin, That's what I know. About potatoes, these potatoes that I am cutting here are red potatoes and they are also known as pink potatoes and they are high in vitamin B complex. Now what is vitamin B complex? Vitamin B complex is generally not what it is it's it's um it's beef like all the B vitamins, this is the one that I take and I think if I'm not endorsing this company or anything, I'm just showing you what I take, so if you are taking any type of medication of any kind, I don't care what you are taking it for, make sure your intake is a B complex medication, especially for hypertension, high blood pressure medications will remove minerals and vitamin B from your body. -complex will remove vitamin b6, b12, b2, b3, everything and that is a b2 b6 b12 complex which is a complex that is all the B vitamins in one pill so you definitely definitely want to take a vitamin complex B when If you are on any type of medication of any kind or if you drink alcohol regularly and smoke, you definitely want to take a B complex pill along with vitamin C because, like I said, they are completely flushed out of your

system

when you take them. and then when you have a lack of vitamin B, that leads to other things, other health problems, so you know you have circlesdark under eyes, which is a problem.indication, it is also an indication of low magnesium level, another thing, since I mentioned magnesium again, magnesium is absolutely important, and so are the muscles in your body, what does that do?
It actually relaxes the muscles in your body, so your heart is a muscle, so it definitely needs some magnesium, so I would do that. Definitely try to get that into your system, like I said, potatoes even have a little bit of magnesium, any green vegetables like spinach or kale or something like that, we roll it up with magnesium in addition to our vitamin A and vitamin K, when I talk about that later. , turned a little. later, so yeah, definitely try to get that into your body because we have a deficiency in those things that definitely cause problems, other types of health problems and they found that there's been a study that when you're low in magnesium, the people who have low magnesium a lot of times they have high blood pressure and they also have low potassium so make sure you're consuming those so foods that are loaded with that make sure you get it into your body as much as you can so it's okay . so I cut my potatoes here, I'm going to cut a little more onion and then I'm going to add my carrot, which is loaded with vitamin A and some other things that I'm going to put them in. the broth and we're going to let them cook and soften, so stay tuned.
Well, I'm going to add the onion and garlic. I took two medium sized heads of garlic and chopped them up, so I'm just going to add that. in the broth and I'm going to add the onions to the broth, this will give it a nice flavor and you already figured out some health benefits. Now I'm going to add my sweet potato and my red potato, the more you put in here. the water is going to start rising so I put it in little by little and I'll see how far the water will rise so this is almost it so I cut it again.
Actually, I cut, I just use a yam. a sweet potato and cut it into about five. Sorry, six potatoes, so this is going to be a hearty, delicious soup. You know, at this point you can start tasting the broth to see if it needs more salt and then add a little more pepper. or any other type of seasoning so I tried it before and you need a little bit more salt of course the salt that has all the minerals because we definitely want this broth to be like a mineral broth okay so we did it. While this is cooking, I'm going to play cooking until you know the potatoes are starting to soften.
I'll also add some carrots. These are organic baby carrots and I bought them at the health food store, but I've seen them too. at the regular grocery store so you can get organic baby carrots at the regular grocery store so I'm going to put in whatever I want because we've got a lot going on here I mean we've got potatoes we've got red potatoes sweet potato garlic onion and we're gonna add spinach then we're gonna add cabbage too and chicken so like I said this is a meal for yourself so I'm fine with that I probably used almost half the bag on this and this is the size of it this is about a bag of two pounds of baby carrots so yeah this is all I use on that so I'm going to season it a little more I think I need I'll add a little more seasoning as well as salt so I'll add my pepper.
I'm going to add a little more, although I added the whole garlic. I'm going to add a little more garlic powder because this will be a strong cold and flu fighter, not to mention alone. that will give our body minerals and nutrition and it will help with inflammation and it will also be a good broth a good meal to help with any type of cold or flu and things like that. I will also add turmeric to this. There is something you can do. Do it or not, it's up to you. I'm going to add this turmeric spice because it's an anti-inflammatory and it's great for helping and boosting your

immune

system, so I'm going to add a little bit later with my potatoes.
Oh, camera. it's trying to move with me when all my potatoes and carrots get soft so what I'm going to do now is shred my chicken and I'll show you that so stay tuned so I went ahead and shredded my chicken. I just made a couple of leg quarters, I still have a whole one left and since I wanted to show you because I had to charge the battery, okay, what I do is with the cooked chicken, I just remove the skin from the cooked chicken. because we don't want that in our soup, you know, so I take the meat, break it up and put it in the bowl.
I hope you thought I removed the skin from the chicken. I don't want that in the soup then, just break it up and put it in a bowl and just make sure it's all crumbled and chopped and then take my knife and just run it through, chop it, it's smaller pieces which I like, okay. I think that's enough chicken, it's probably too much because there's going to be so much in this soup that there's no need to have a ton of meat, okay, so let me clean up this mess real quick because the next thing I do.
What I'm going to do is cut my cabbage, so after I cut it I'm going to go ahead and put it in the soup. I'm showing you the carrot right now because I wanted to show you how tender it is. I just took this out of the pot, that's how I know it's ready, it's ready. I mean, it's very easy to cut and you know they're very soft, so the vegetables are done, the potatoes are soft, the carrots, a soft ground. it's ready to go, so with this, this is organic cabbage. I bought it at the health food store.
I rinsed it on top of the top coat and went through and took off the top coat just to make sure you knew. I'm getting to the cleanest part so I just removed the top layer because it comes off in layers like this and that's all I did right so I'm going to take the cabbage and cut it in half although I should probably cut the bottom off first I'm sorry I'm confused right now, my mom just found out that someone is stealing content from her YouTube channel and putting it on a fake website so yeah anyway we had a long conversation about it so separate it. and I'm going to take half of this and start cutting it into little pieces.
Now cabbage is a cruciferous Christmas vegetable and it's great for providing your system with natural sulfur, so I know some people take MSM pills and things like that. Well, this is natural MSM right here, so if you have problems with your hair and nails, these are definitely the vegetables you should be eating, so it will separate them a little bit. I probably won't use all of this, but you know it's going to cook a little bit, so okay, right now it's in big chunks, so now what I'm going to do is take you to the pot and we're going to put the leftover vegetables in the pot. pot and the reason I'm doing this at the end is because it doesn't take long for it to cook so this is like the last phase and I usually add this kind of stuff at the end okay stay tuned so like You can see I used about a little bit more than half of this pepper and I cut it into small pieces and that's enough for me and I'll put it in the soup here and if I wanted a little bit more.
Spicier I will add cayenne pepper but for now I will wait and see in a day or two because like I said the pepper will make this sit a little longer as the longer it sits the spicier it will get. It looks really nice, the potatoes are a little bit down on the bottom, so I'm going to fill a little scoop so you can see how much food is in here, I mean, chicken, carrots, sweet potatoes, red potatoes, cabbage, spinach, parsley and Remember parsley is a great natural diuretic, so it's definitely great for that, so we've got vitamins, minerals, fiber, everything that your body will need to stay healthy and help with blood pressure issues, and even some blood pressure issues. type 2 diabetes too, so you know.
I'm going to let this cook for about 10 to 15 more minutes because I really want the cabbage to be cooked and tender and I'm going to put it in a bowl and let you take a look and stay. well tuned, so here is our super soup, which has chicken, potatoes, cabbage, carrots, parsley, onion, garlic and a broth, all made from scratch, plus vitamins, minerals, protein and fiber, so now I know, You know why I call it super. soup this soup is fantastic, you don't really need bread or anything because it's full of so much food, it has so many things in it that you don't need anything, you know, and the carrots, and it's amazing.
I usually do this. in winter and it is very good, it lasts a few days because I made it in a very large pot. I take it to work. I take it for lunch. Sometimes I have it for breakfast. You know, I drink it a lot, so it's full of minerals. As I said before, that is one of the main problems of people with hypertension, they are not lacking many minerals, so what you get here are potatoes and sweet potatoes, which are full of vitamin B complex and it has potassium, it has vitamin C, it even has copper, very high in magnesium, so yeah, I want to talk about magnesium for a second.
One way to know you have low magnesium is if you have high blood pressure or two. type 2 diabetes, there is usually one of the big signs that you are lacking magnesium: you may be eating magnesium in your food, but you may not be digesting or absorbing it, so some of the symptoms when you are low When you have a major deficiency in magnesium, sometimes you can get eyelid twitches and all of a sudden you know your eyelid is twitching out of nowhere and it's one of those muscle cramps, like calf cramps or something, usually it happens at night.
I know why I used to have that, but I haven't had it in a long time. Premenstrual insomnia. You are always tired or have an abnormal heart rhythm. You know your heart is beating or beating a lot, so that's an indication. You know you need more potassium and magnesium, and the thing about potassium is that potassium actually regulates the sodium and fluids in your body, so you know you need to get a lot of potassium in your body, so it comes from of the bananas, the potatoes, try it. absolutely delicious, it's a filling feeling, full of vitamins, minerals, fiber, protein, it's all in this soup, so give it a try, let me know if you like it and as always, I will always say this, try to make every meal as healthiest possible because your body is a temple, we want to keep the temple running and cleaning all the pipes running so we can always do it through food and exercise, so try it and tell me if you like it, thanks guys.
