Hello how are you doing? In today's tutorial you are going to learn how to paint this

and we are just using very simple basic home tools like a cotton swab and a toothpick so this is pablo so if you are I'm ready to try this project then grab your supplies and let's get started so what I have here is just an old wine

and I'm going to try to remove the label by letting it soak in some hot water. water and sometimes that's all you're going to need to do to remove it, but there are other times when that just doesn't work and the label doesn't come out clean and in that case I go to a product called goo gone um it's to remove sticky residue like stickers and such, and it works very well.

I love this stuff, so what you want to do is saturate the label and then let it sit like a plastic sheet of some kind, uh, and then I leave it. Sit for about 15 minutes or so and it came out clean, no problem, no residue left, but you have to make sure you go ahead and wash the bottle with soap and water afterwards because you have to remove the oil and then what. What I didn't show was the last step of cleaning the bottle with a little alcohol and that alone ensures proper paint adhesion. Now I know it can be hard to find supplies right now, so we're just going to make this project out of stuff. around the house, just everyday items, take a Q-tip and on one end you're going to smear some paint down the shaft and maybe flatten the end a little bit and then let it dry and then on the other end, you want to remove all the cotton all the way down to just the stick part and for these you want to make sure you get the paper stick type and not the plastic one because those just don't work.

Plus, I also put a little bit of paint on the other end just to hold down the lint. We are going to use all American art deco gloss enamel paints. Today we have white, true red, bright orange, bright yellow, desert turquoise, vivid. violet and lavender now the bottle is green so I didn't need much green but I'm going to use just a little bit and it will be multi surface American satin in the shape of a pixie don't forget to grab a toothpick and go. Most of the time I was able to get six petals around the center point and you want to get the points as close as possible to the center point and to each other without them touching, but now if they touch, it's not the end of the world, you can take a clean cotton swab and just wave the paint up and away from the bottle and just repeat it, it's not the end of the world, it's not a big deal and move on and then you can clean your tool and move on to the next color.

I'm going to go ahead and go to lavender, it's the same process and it repeats itself over and over, whatever. colors you want to use you know this is deep purple again. I'm doing six dots, sometimes I can only fit five and that's if I've loaded too much paint into the tool or the center dot is a little bit smaller and didn't you know that if you got enough paint for the center of the flower then it would be a little smaller? I wanted the design to be completely filled. You can also just dip the toothpick into the green paint and then continuously dot away from a flower and the dots will decrease in size and are like little tails and I thought that was cute. You can do it too. I did a combination of all three. You can also wet the toothpick and paint and just slide small movements and then allow this. dry now according to the instructions on the paint bottle and you want to make sure you read yours, you know, the bottle because some of them may vary slightly and you definitely want them all to be the same.

It says you should let it cure for four. days and then you're going to put it in a cold oven, you set the temperature to 325 degrees Fahrenheit and you bake it for 30 minutes, then you're going to cool it with the oven door partially open, so I put it in the oven I set the temperature to 325 and I'm going to bake it for 30 minutes. Obviously you want to let it cool completely before trying to handle it, but once it's done the paint will have a permanent bond with the glass, so able to wash it well personally, I'd still hand wash it now.
