So right before we start, I'm going to go ahead and run my ozone machine to eliminate some of the smoke smell that's in here and Then, while I'm working outside for a few hours, the ozone will have time to dissipate and I'll start with the prewash rinse here and I thought I would give you some background on the vehicle so when the owner dropped it off she was telling me.

She told me that she recently bought this card very cheap for 400, but also that it's her first car, so she brought it to me to hopefully undo everything you saw at the beginning and make sure you stay until the end of the video to see what incredible. The car looks like when I finished, unfortunately I couldn't get the owner's reaction on this one, she was a little camera shy, but I can tell you that she was absolutely delighted with the results, so lucky for me here. This car does not have carpeted wheel well liners so it only takes a few seconds to spray off all the dirt and slush and if you notice the steel wheels here they are a very common thing to use in northern climates during the winter.

Most people will have their winter tires mounted, making it easier to change them and avoiding wear on the better summer ribs. Well, with the car rinsed I will now move on to the wheels and spray on some wheel and rim cleaner. I'll use my Detail Geek wheel and tire brushes to agitate them and get them nice and clean, which you can get at Detailgeekautocare.com and it's not something I've mentioned too often, but when

tires, if the cleaner turns brown when you use it you shake. It means they're not completely clean yet, so I always repeat this process at least once, although sometimes it takes two or three times until the cleaner turns white and that's when you know they're clean and full, so there you go. good with the car.

Covered in a nice thick lather, here I'm going to go with my geeky boar hair detail brush and if you've ever wondered why I do this step, it's simply to give myself the opportunity to go around the entire vehicle and use this brush on everyone. tight areas like around all the side mirrors behind the gas door, basically anywhere my wash mitt would miss. Oh okay, with the car washed and dried, now I'm going to quickly get it out of the garage so I can clean the floor and if you ever wanted to see this done after a

videos ended up on the second channel, geek detail 2, so make sure you watch them well to get started with this interior and Obviously, the first step here is to quickly remove the seats after disconnect the battery and take a quick look at what I'm dealing with and it's really not good so I'm also going to dismantle the entire center console and get it out of there. because there is no way I can clean some of those parts with them inside the car and then the next step is to start removing the enormous amount of trash from the car and since none of this is the owner's disaster, most of it goes straight to the trash , although I did save some valuable items and set them aside for her and ever since the girls' muddy truck video from a little over a year ago I've been wondering when I'd find items of a more sensitive nature and this car again.
It sure didn't disappoint in that regard, so the lace panties here and some of the other items you may have already seen are starting to paint a picture of this car's previous owner, but honestly, I'm glad I had the foresight to do it. Take a quick look at what was on the floor of this car as this is exactly the type of vehicle you would expect to find needles in so I will be disposing of them very carefully and after seeing there is no way for me to take them . There's some chance now and I'm just grabbing the dustpan here to deal with the rest of the trash, so that's okay, so after I find one more needle hidden in the back of the trunk, I'll go ahead and throw out the whole bag full of trash. of this car quickly remove the back seat plug in the vacuum and get to work sucking up more dirt from this car now in the back here where all the snow and ice is I just grabbed a screwdriver I had lying around and basically scraped it off What I was able to remove from the carpet, but as you can see, there is a lot of broken glass mixed in, so obviously at one point this winter the passenger window broke and it snowed inside the vehicle, so it's probably not something that see again.
Now, of course, this is the vehicle that keeps on giving, so since I missed it earlier because it was hidden under the accelerator pedal, I'll quickly throw it away and you guys can probably tell by now, but these mats are in pretty bad shape, so I'm definitely looking forward to extracting them in a moment. Now, while I'm working on all the embellishments with my geeky detail brushes, I'm using the boar hair for most of the work, as its bristles are stiff enough that I can get some dirt and dust out of the crevices, but then for any sensitive plastic that's more prone to scratching, I'll switch to the ultra soft brush and basically the reason I do this step is to get everything steamed.
Later it will be easier and things won't be so messy. um okay it's finally time to start working on these dirty seats and rugs and since they are so bad today I'm going to use my medium green brush exclusively as I know I'm going to need the extra agitation that these offer and if you're wondering where you can find These drill brushes or the soft white ones, are available on my website at Detailgeekautocare.com, where they ship worldwide, so feel free. I'm free to take a look at them and do the first few passes with the extractor here and it sure is nice to see all that gunk being sucked out, but being a perfectionist I still wasn't very happy with the results so I'm going to go ahead and repeat the process. the whole process and then for the stubborn spots I'll hit them with the steamer a little later, now I'm starting in the backseat and for those of you wondering why I see this question all the time, the solution for the carpet is What I use here are lightning fast chemicals, which I dilute about 20 to 1 and then after shaking, I'll get to work extracting with the Bissell, making sure to go over each section from at least two directions so I can be sure. that the seat is as clean as possible oh, I need you more, okay, move over to the rugs now and since I know these rugs are

super

disgusting and full of all kinds of gross substances, I'm using a generous amount of solution here and I make sure to shake. very good before you start extracting and for any of you who have a vehicle with dirty carpets or seats and want to tackle it yourself, the combo I use of lightning fast chemicals, my detailed geek drill brushes and then the cleaning professional of Bissell stains. to extract works incredibly well so I would recommend them to everyone, especially the bissell, if you are curious I have the links to them in the description along with almost all the other products and tools that I use now in this back. carpet section here, the colors that the Bissell was sucking up were pretty gross, so like most other areas of this car, I repeated the process to make sure I could get it as clean as possible and if you've ever wondered, how long it takes? for the carpets and seats to dry well, it's usually only a few hours as I have the heat on in my garage and the vehicle doors open while I work, here are the almost two buckets full of disgusting, nasty water and smelly pulled out of this car along with a nice layer of sludge on the bottom and this is definitely the smelliest water I've had yet for this disgusting shifter that is covered in caked on cigarette ash, the vape is the only way to loosen it. but once I started it became clear that most of the surrounding plastic had burned off and melted after years of using it as an ashtray, so although it would be clean when I was done, unfortunately it won't look new again, so for now. console pieces that I removed from the car earlier, you'll quickly see why they needed to come out as there was so much dirt and ash caked on them that using the steamer inside the car would have created an even bigger mess, so this basically I can remove it all and then rinse it.
I then went back inside and as expected this headliner was also full of stains so this is another area where using the steamer is incredibly useful, however I will warn that you need to be careful when using it here as it doesn't You want to overheat or saturate the headliner, which can actually cause the glue behind it to loosen, but if you move quickly and don't attack it too aggressively, you can get it back to care quickly. of any type of stain there too, so for anyone who is in the market, the link to the mcculloch mc1375 steamer that I use is in the description for you and it is a tool that I would highly recommend as it is very well priced and is a unit extremely versatile.
Here is a quick solution. before and after the carpet and after pulling it out and steaming it honestly it looks like a different vehicle well with three or three applied to the interior now I'm going to go back outside and apply some sealer to this paint to increase the depth and shine. Keep it protected for about six months. If you've ever had trouble with streaks on your windows, the answer is a waffle weave towel, and because I was curious, I grabbed a new towel for the inside of the windshield so I could see. how dirty it was given that there was a lot of smoking in the car and honestly i was expecting it to be much worse but either way it's still pretty disgusting ah oh so hmm hmm ok guys and 13 hours later the g5 is looks absolutely amazing, has been brought back from the brink of disaster now if you enjoyed this video make sure to hit the like button, subscribe to the channel if you haven't enjoyed the guitar intro yet and I'll see you in the next one. below
